Yesterday I had the privilege and honor in promoting my first Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu. Fran Sullivan is in my opinion what a martial artist encompasses. Fran is a retired NJ State Trooper, father and husband. Fran has a work ethic like none other. He works in retirement, puts family first and still makes time to teach twice a week at 609 and trains when he can. Fran is one of the first to show up at the academy and last to leave.
