Don’t know if you’re still doing this but has anyone asked about inks smoochability?

It's been a year since I've done anything with the smoochability ratings, but hey. There were a few skeletons I hadn't done this for, and Ink was one of them, so I figured I might as well :P

All my logic is under the cut if you wanna look at it, but at the end of the day, Ink gets a smoochability rating of 9. He's one of the safer options, surprisingly enough, so if you'd like to smooch him, go right on ahead. Just be prepared; he could end up accidentally nipping or throwing up ink on you if you get him too excited

1) Is Ink's mouth dangerous at all? I don't believe it would be. His teeth are flat and standard, though I've seen some depictions of him that had little fangs, too. There are no parasites in there, no mysterious diseases/viruses you could catch, and a kiss wouldn't kill you; in fact, the worst thing that could happen would be Ink getting too excited and throwing up ink in your mouth and on you in general. While that's incredibly gross to think about, that's more of a health hazard than a danger factor, since if you kiss him, you'll at least leave without having any blood drawn. So, 2 points for safety

2) Would he bite? Not intentionally. While he IS like adhd incarnate and while he DOES do things that are a bit impulsive (see: everything involving taunting Error), I would assume he knows that biting people is bad. There is a chance that he might bite accidentally if startled, but for the most part, no, I don't see him being a biter. 2 points for not munching on anyone's lips

3) Are there any health hazards to the smoocher? Uhhhh yeah. It's the fact that if he gets too excited, he vomits ink. That in and of itself is gross, but not overly harmful. Then again though, there are different types of ink that exist, and we don't know what specific type he vomits. The impact that accidentally swallowing it might have on a human person could vary, depending on what exactly the type is. Worst case scenario, it's toxic and you need your stomach pumped asap to get it out, and best case scenario, it's yuckydisgusting and only makes you slightly sick for a short amount of time. The hazard level is up for debate here, but I'll still give him at least 1 point since death is not a guaranteed outcome

4) Does he have a sympathetic backstory? Sort of?? I know he was from an incomplete AU and was sorta. Left alone in the vast nothingness, until creators' feelings started raining down on him and he started experimenting with them. It'd really suck to be the only vaguely self aware person from your home, and then be alone eventually, surrounded by nothingness, so that does give me at least a little sympathy. So,, 1 point. It's very unfortunate, but it's not sad enough that I feel like crying over it

5) Does he deserve a smooch? Ehhhh, this one is up for debate. Personally, I'd say no, since from what I know and remember of his canon story, he never really did anything that would make him deserving of a smooch. 1 point, since maybe under the right circumstances he'd be deserving, but as is, I'm not really feeling it

6) Is Ink cute or cool? In a way, yeah, he could be considered cute and cool. He's cute in the "small guy with 0 thoughts behind those eyes" sense, and then he's cool design-wise. His first design was interesting and unique, but it had a lot going on, and then his updated design has less going on visually, but it's still pretty interesting and unique. If I was shown a silhouette of him, I'd be able to identify who he was, so. 2 points

When we add up all of our points and take everything into consideration, Ink is a 9 out of 12 :P he's a safer option, but even then, he could still unintentionally give you a nasty surprise. This is the part where I'd add in a scenario to kinda lay out how it'd go, but like. It's hot here. I'm feeling lazy, and thinking is Hard right now. I have a first kiss master list in my pinned post, which could be something to consider checking out if you're curious at all!

Safe Word

“I can handle it, man,” Johnny said, sounding like he was on the verge of arguing.

“I know you can,” Daniel sighed, “but that's not the point.”

They hadn't been together long.

After the divorce it had taken Daniel a while to notice that every time Johnny insulted him it was actually a ham fisted attempt at flirting.

Johnny didn't have the vocabulary or experience to express what he wanted, Daniel eventually realised.

While the world had moved on since 1984, Johnny simply hadn't. He was stuck in high school, pulling pigtails to let Daniel know that he liked him, or in his case, calling him Danielle or Princess every chance he got.

After Daniel had figured out what Johnny was actually doing, he asked him out to a bar. It was a date, but Daniel wasn't sure that Johnny realised it was a date.

He picked Johnny up at 8 and opened the car door for him.

They went out for burgers and Daniel picked up the check first, saying, “No, no. This is my treat.”

They went to a bar, where they drank round after round of Banquet and shots, and as they closed out the tab at the end of the night, Daniel handed over his card to the bartender.

“You trying to get laid, LaRusso?” Johnny asked, as he leaned up against the bar. “You're treating me like a chick on a first date.”

“Maybe I am,” Daniel replied as he put his wallet away. “Maybe that's what this is.”

“Oh yeah?” Johnny asked.

“Maybe I'm trying to woo you,” Daniel said with a grin.

“Woo?” Johnny asked. “Like a ghost?”

“No,” Daniel laughed. “Like I want to be with you.”

“Oh,” Johnny said quietly, even though Daniel could practically see the gears in his head whirring. After a while he added, “Well, maybe I want to be with you too.”

“Good,” Daniel replied with a nod, trying to keep his cool.

He couldn't believe this was actually happening. He'd told Johnny this was a date and he hadn't beaten the shit out of him? It was going way better than Daniel expected.

They went out into the parking lot, and Daniel decided to leave his car at the bar, so he booked an Uber.

As they waited for the car to arrive neither of them spoke. The air around them felt heavy with the anticipation of what would come next.

They were heading back to Johnny's place.

Daniel made polite chit chat in the car, discussing some local news story about the state of the roads with the driver, just to make the journey go faster and to break the unbearable tension.

When they arrived, Johnny opened the door, then stepped back, letting Daniel enter the apartment first.

The second the door was closed, Johnny was on him. Kissing him roughly as he pushed Daniel against the wall.

Johnny's lips moved down to Daniel's neck, making him moan loudly.

Johnny broke away and breathlessly asked, “You wanna take this to the bedroom?”

“Yeah,” Daniel replied. “I really do.”

That was 6 weeks ago now and Daniel had never felt happier.

It turned out that Johnny had hidden depths under all that bluster and he was surprisingly sensitive in a way that Daniel had never expected. Johnny cried easily and he was quick to anger. He was a bubbling cauldron of swirling emotion hidden under a tough exterior, and Daniel could never predict how he'd react to anything.

When he decided to ask Johnny out on a date he'd thought that he'd probably react badly and have some kind of nervous breakdown over his precious masculinity, but he seemed to be oddly relaxed about the fact that he wasn't actually as straight as he'd made out.

Their sex life so far had been pretty frantic, with all the excitement of having a new partner, made even more fun by the fact that this was Johnny. Daniel still couldn't believe it sometimes.

They'd quickly graduated from kissing and fumbling around, to hand stuff and going down on each other, but Daniel didn't think it'd go any further than that. Johnny had been great about the whole thing so far, but Daniel knew he'd likely have him limits.

They were in a diner having breakfast one morning when out of nowhere Johnny said, “I think I want to try anal.”

Daniel choked on his coffee, spluttering across the table.

“Wow that's gross, man,” Johnny said, wiping his hand.

“You want to try what?” Daniel said, still coughing.

“You know,” Johnny said, leaning across the table, as if he'd finally realised there were kids sat not far away from them. “Butt stuff.”

“Oh my god,” Daniel gasped. “You could have waited till I wasn't drinking to say that.”

“It's just my ass,” Johnny said, said shrugging his shoulders.

Daniel sat back. “Your ass?”

“Well, yeah,” Johnny said. “That's what I want to try. So can we?”

“I think we need to do some research on the logistics of the whole thing first,” Daniel said, as he raised his coffee cup again.

“Well, yeah. It's not like I'm asking you to bend me over a table now, man,” Johnny said.

Daniel choked on his coffee again.

Daniel spent some time doing research.

He worked out what supplies they needed and how to prepare for what they were going to do.

He found an online sex store and ordered lube and other things.

In his heart he knew this was going to be a big deal, despite how casual Johnny was being about it.

Daniel didn't think Johnny had really thought it through and he knew there was a chance that despite his eagerness to go ahead with it all, there might be a chance he might have a change of heart, and wouldn't tell Daniel because he didn't want to seem like a pussy.

“I can handle it, man,” Johnny said, sounding like he was on the verge of arguing, when Daniel sat him down for a discussion beforehand.

“I know you can,” Daniel sighed, “but that's not the point.”

“What, do you think I'm gonna wimp out the second you touch my ass?”

“And that's exactly what I'm worried about,” Daniel said. “The fact you think changing your mind if you realise you don't like it makes you a wimp.”

“I'm not gonna change my mind,” Johnny said.

“But if we do this and you realise you don't like it and you don't tell me, do you know how that would make me feel?” Daniel asked. “I'd feel awful about it. It'd ruin the whole night.”

“Yeah, OK,” Johnny conceded.

“We need a safe word,” Daniel said.

“Safe word?” Johnny asked. “What's that?”

“It's a word you use when your exploring your boundaries during sex to indicate to your partner that things are starting to get a little too much for you.”

“Are we going somewhere?” Johnny asked, raising an eyebrow. “Because I thought we were gonna do it on my bed, right here.”

“Huh?” Daniel asked, his brown wrinkling in confusion.

“We could go to Vegas,” Johnny suggested, in a way that sounded like he thought he was being helpful.

“What?” Daniel asked.

“Boundaries,” Johnny said. “Is that like the state line or something?”

Daniel couldn't help but laugh. Johnny never failed to amaze him.

“A boundary is like a line you don't want to step over,” Daniel said. “Like you told me you don't like it if touch your neck, so now I don't touch your neck. That's a boundary.”

“OK, yeah,” Johnny said. “I get it. So how does a safe word work?”

“We choose a word now, and if either of us doesn't like something the other is doing we say the word and the other person has to stop what they're doing,” Daniel said. “But it has to be a word that you'd never ever say during sex.”

“OK,” Johnny said thoughtfully. He paused a moment, then said, “How about Miyagi?”

“Johnny…” Daniel said through gritted teeth. “The last person I want to think of during sex is the man who was practically my father.”

“Yeah, but say we're doing it and I realise I don't like it,” Johnny said. “I says his name and it's an instant boner killer, so you have to stop doing the thing I don't like.”

“Huh,” Daniel said, thinking about what Johnny just said.

“I mean, I know you'd stop anyway. I trust you,” Johnny said “But I'm also a guy and I know sometimes that's really difficult, so think of it like an off switch, but for your wang.”

“Hmmm…” Daniel said. “You know what? That's actually a good point.”

“So Miyagi it is?” Johnny asked, raising an eyebrow.

ღ steven is a decent amount taller than both you and glitchy. glitchy himself is probably 5'11 or 6' and steven is like fucking 6'6 or something insane like that. he's also pretty strong. will usually scruff the two of you out of bad situations or when either of you are misbehaving. he is somehow the most functional and reasonable one out of the polycule, probably, which is very funny considering how dysfunctional he actually is.

ღ steven and glitchy both very much enjoy their hair being played with, styled, or brushed.... a good lazy day in for the two of you is cuddling in bed while you brush and braid stevens hair, and pet glitchys ( surprisingly soft! ) hair at the same time. the two will also do this to each other sometimes, but since glitchy is Bad at taking care of hair all he'll do is run his hands through steven's.

ღ if you like this as well, they'll be sure to reciprocate. do be warned that glitchy has no fucking idea how to take care of hair though. steven does since he has long hair, but glitchy just. Never had to do that. glitchy will just run his hands through your hair though since he's certain he can't mess that up - hopefully.

ღ they both have very similar clothes. you will probably joke about how they'd look like the same person if glitchy didn't have his whole glitchy aura and had longer hair. after some thinking, the two probably talk and buy you a matching set of clothes along with your own hat out of sheer curiousity. they will not admit it but... you look really cute in it.

ღ steven and you will play games together sometimes ( once again. never forget that steven is canonically a gamer. Do not let anyone forget ) and glitchy will just sit there and backseat. steven probably doesn't get that annoyed by it, but if you do then he finds your outbursts after you've had enough of glitchy back seating sorta funny.

ღ if you're the type of person to give compliments really easily, it'll destroy both of them. glitchy will stutter and flub his words and his face will become more red than his namesake, while steven on the other hand will just... blush, look away, and mumble a "Thanks."

ღ they will get back at you for this though ( aka both will intentionally try to fluster you and hard. they also try to fluster each other sometimes. especially when arguing, steven will just say shit like "You look nice today." to glitchy ( mostly to make him shut up ) and he'll continue ranting until his brain registers what steven just said and then he'll just verbally keysmash like "IUQYhnj(!*&????" . because he can do that this is canon im the author of glitchy red /j )

ღ steven's probably the best at flustering you two, though. after all he Did used to be a people person and also had a girlfriend. although he used to be stereotypically romantic and cheesy with it, but nowadays especially the more the relationship goes on, he can just casually say smth like "You look hot, by the way." and just not think about it. he always flirts in a very blunt and straightforward way like this and it messes with you two - he finds the reactions funny and will just silently chuckle to himself.

ღ i sort of forget a bunch of details abt glitchy reds og pokepasta sometimes - for example glitchy Probably not having pokemon due to the weird... cursed... poison... thing in the og pokepasta. therefore, you all have a mutual pokemon as a pet. which is a big hulking fucking dragon. you know what time it is baby its MIKI TIME !!!!!!!! glitchy might be freaked out around her, mainly her... missingno bits. missingno doesn't scare him as much as it used to - there were much worse glitches out there to him, but god he never gets fully used to it. he'll eventually calm down the more and more he sees her, but he can't help but be unnerved. still gives her pets though and she seems to appreciate it?

ღ due to this steven will sometimes make miki jumpscare glitchy bc he finds it funny. glitchy Very much does not find it funny and he'll panic and glitch out pretty hard. miki feels bad. steven feels a little bad. you have to reconcile them after this like you do a bunch of other times </3

ღ glitchy also does piss off steven and fuck around with him sometimes more than he should though. they really just like to get under eachothers skin. and then sometimes make out as an apology. Most stable polycule x 2. they're sort of petty and childish with how often they try to prank and piss each other off. neither will stop until you tell them to or until they even the scores out between them. please help them or else they'll divorce for the 45th time ( they're not even married )

ღ glitchy is usually the one who points out and pushes steven to take care of himself, though. if you're bad at doing that for yourself then he will with you as well - he notices because he's surprisingly the person that takes care of himself the most. ever since he got out of the game he craves to feel and be real, so he loves to eat and bathe and sleep and do all of that since he was never able to in the game, so it's easy for him to notice when you two aren't.

ღ steven sometimes has bad dreams, mostly about The Incidents. it'll be pretty clear when he does - usually grumbling or sleeptalking and moving around in his sleep a decent bit. due to glitchys Dream Bullshit Powers he'll help steven if he's awake when he's having a bad nightmare. same with you. i like to think glitchy just doesn't have the capability dream whatsoever ( or he does but theyre always lucid ), but it's up in the air.

ღ these two both hug spine crushingly tight because both are very undersocialized. you have to tell them to knock it off and go lighter. when they cuddle with you in bed though, they're noticeably a lot better about it. the two wrapping their arms around you makes you feel really safe and loved.

ღ whoevers in the middle when you two go to bed / cuddle changes sometimes. steven's content with being on the sides, but glitchy and you i like to think sometimes argue for that middle spot. he loves being held even though he will never admit it. please hold his hand or hug him he will Fucking die.

ღ when glitchy or steven can't sleep, they're both the type of person to just sorta watch you sleep and take comfort in it. they don't intend to be creepy about it but if you wake up and just see their red fucking eyes staring back it is slightly jarring.

ღ steven is at least decent at cooking. glitchy is trying to learn how. both are Malewifes. will give you breakfast in bed with a side of 50 kisses.

ღ if you ( or glitchy, somehow??? ) are sick though, steven will be the one to try to take responsibility, mostly bc glitchy doesn't know ... how to really help. and steven's used to taking care of sick people since he's had a few times in his life where he had to care of his brother, his (ex) girlfriend, and his pokemon when they were sick. if steven himself is sick though he'll just either pretend he isn't and do his day-to-day things until he collapses, or will just sit in bed until it goes away.

ღ glitchy has a soft spot for plushies and will probably buy and collect a few to adorn your ( probably shared ) bed/bedroom with.

ღ they both snore a little, glitchy snoring the loudest. i hope you are not annoyed by snoring bc if you are then uhh. Woops.

ღ steven has gotten into the habit of making some hot tea for himself and you two whenever he wakes up, so i hope you like tea. it's mostly for his own throat to be honest.

ღ please massage steven's back for him his scoliosis is fucking awful. literally if you even just lay on his back he'll probably like it. glitchy slouches a little but not as often. if you asked steven to stand up straight you'd hear 50 of his bones crack /j /probably

ღ steven's usually either basically always up or is up at the weirdest times ever. dude who goes to bed at like 8 am. or 4 pm.

ღ glitchy i don't think is much better but he's slightly more normal about it. they'll try to orient their schedules around yours though ( aka by sleeping around the time you do ), since... neither really have much to do anyways?

ღ since glitchys the one that goes out a lot ( other than maybe you ) he buys the two of you gifts a lot. you will be bombarded with affection. NOW !!

My Top 10 of 2022

I thought it'd be fun to share my favourite ten photos from last year. Surprisingly, I found it a bit difficult to narrow them down (I'm never really in awe of the pictures I take, though they do grow on me), but I decided for these (LONG POST WARNING!):

10 - The Leucistic Nilgans (Reblog / See post)

I was counting Egyptian geese when one clearly stood out right away. Nilgans without an eye patch, woah! So, yeah, I gave all of my attention to our friend here, who didn't enjoy that at all. Birds don't like it one bit when you stare at them. They know you're up to no good, but I managed to snap a few shots before this pretty goose (or shelduck) got into the water, and safe from the weird man. The others around me didn't feel threatened - I wasn't looking at them.

9 - The siskin bunch (Reblog / See post)

It was a long winter day when I finally managed to get some decent shots of siskins. These were birds that had always eluded me, first to spot them, and then to photograph them, as they normally forage too high, though usually in flocks. The geography of this lake helped me stay at eye level, and as plenty of them were going from branch to branch looking for food, I got this quite nice shot, even if the light that day was constantly changing and far from the best (and my cheap-ass lens depends a lot on the natural light).

8 - The epitome of a robin (Reblog / See post)

Rotkehlchen was always going to make it in this list, wasn't he? Oh, yeah, I remember that day. I was there to photograph the rare penduline tits that stopped coming to that spot the very same day I decided to go to see them. When my hopes were practically gone, this lovable guy showed up, looking at us the photographers waiting for the birds that never came and probably wondering: What are those idiots doing there? The other two guys kept on their business, while I couldn't resist to get down and picture him. I didn't get any penduline tits, but I got a big reward nonetheless: The epitome of a robin.

7 - Serenity coot (Reblog / See post)

Just a damn coot, right? Nothing special... Well, you see, I have this habit of taking pictures of whoever is there, and this time, Blässhuhn was there. I interrupted my chat with some other guys taking photos that you meet along the way and I decided to just snap this fella, who was actually preening uncontrollably. However, I captured this brief moment where everything seems to make sense, and that gives me tranquillity and inner peace just by looking at it. This should be just some regular photo, but it has something, something that touches me inside.

6 - The 'intersex' mallard (Reblog / See post)

Ever since @namu-the-orca told me about what I had actually photographed, I've been absolutely keen on this little girl. When I saw her again, she had a boyfriend, she was getting harassed by other drakes (because she's actually a female), and I totally had to snatch more pictures of her. In that exact moment, she just happened to open her beak, and I caught a lovely picture I really like. Now, I know she lives there. She's always there, and I pay attention to her, I look at her, and I enjoy knowing she's around, but I don't think I will be able to take a better picture of her than this one.

5 - The making of a wildlife photographer (Reblog / See post)

I don't want to keep raving about this guy, but he was so amazing that I did things I'm not very proud of just to get a snap of him. And I did that because I wanted to tell my little Tumblr world that this bird is amazing. First thing I'm not proud of is getting into a swamp to get close to him, and the second is playing playback (I genuinely had no idea that thing actually works and I was surprised it did) so he would just get furious at me, thinking there was a competitor in the area, and sang from a more visible place instead. The result was really nice, though. It looks like a typical profile photo in a bird catalogue, but I'm no wildlife photographer, and that's stuff some of them do, and I personally would rather avoid doing that kind of stuff. The picture is nice, but I think that what I did was wrong. Birding sadly also means disturbing birds by definition, so we shouldn't do extra stuff. My only comfort is that the guy was already singing non-stop.

4 - Finally goldfinch (Reblog / See post)

You've surely seen better pictures of goldfinches than this one, but it's been a personal struggle for me ever since I started this hobby and I was so happy to finally get a nice photo of one. It looks nice, that's for sure, but no wonder the feeling of accomplishment helped me decide for this one. Goldfinches are common, but in my experience, they're shier than other birds, and for a guy that just walks around with his camera, that's a problem. In this case, I was super lucky, since two goldfinches were having some beef, so they were 'busy', and I also was in the perfect position for this particular shot only because I had just got there (there's a slope to get to the lake and then I'd have been too low).

3 - Jabba the Spatz (Reblog / See post)

I simply thought this was a hilarious shot! Its other photos ended up being way more popular, but I still love this loafing baby sparrow with a dopey facial expression. Also, it was loafing just in the gap of those stones. Also, it was loafing right in front of me and couldn't care less about my presence. Sparrows are usually great models, and they're such cute birds. I always enjoy photographing them.

2 - The not-yet-blue daredevil (Reblog / See post)

This one is very nice. Like, for me, this one and number one are miles ahead of the rest. The story behind this one is simple: I heard baby whinging and there I went. A blue tit chick was chasing mom or dad, while another (this one) seemed to be a bit more independent. After the initial recognition of the situation, I saw that one of them was hanging low and relatively close to me. I lifted my camera as quick as I could, shot, and the moment was gone. I immediately checked the photos out on the display and I seemed to have got only blurry shots. As usual, I cursed my luck, but when I got home, not only this one looked sharp, it looked amazing. The pose, the colours, the whole moment... I realized I had taken a pretty damn good photo, and the difference between having it or not was such a fine line.

1 - Und die Dohle (Reblog / See post)

My current laptop background. It was April 2nd and it was... Snowing! I guess I haven't lived here long enough or it doesn't snow enough for me not to lose my sh*t when I see snow, so as soon as I saw this spring miracle, I grabbed my camera and went out. I wanted to take pictures of birds in the white snow! However, my choice of destination was perhaps questionable, as instead of going to a place with higher altitude, I went to the lowest point in the city... So there was no snow... But it was still snowing!

I like all the photos I took that day with the snowflakes falling from the sky, like this one or this one, but the jackdaw is by far the best. I spotted two jackdaws among all the crows that normally hang around there, and I was determined to finally get a nice photo of one of them. However, they were incredibly shy. No matter how far I was, if I took a step in their direction, they'd feel threatened and fly farther away from me. The snowfall was increasing, it was getting late, but I wanted my jackdaw photo. Eventually, I managed to approach one by making sure a trash can was blocking their view, and it worked! My knees were most likely hurting, but from there, I snapped a few shots, and one came amazingly well.

I love everything. The snow falling, the expression, I mean, the jackdaw looks fierce and majestic, and it has such a dramatic aura. Once I checked that I had indeed taking a good photo, I thumbed-up a crow that I may or may not have given peanuts earlier, and that was waiting next to me for an extra treat. There was no treat, but he got a photo too, since he was there.

for once here's something from me that might be actually useful/fun to know

i made a height chart based off of noda's height rankings coupled with the official anime heights + color coded weight rank as bonus for visuals

yellow is the values that i estimated since we don't have any confirmed heights for them, with the darker yellow being basically canon since it'd be the only option

if we get more model sheets with heights (either from s4 or past ones) i'll update this, i'm hoping we could at least at some point get maybe inkarmat and kikuta, possibly vasily?

how i estimated + personal comments under cut (aka thick tsuki and thick sofia appreciation)

some thoughts:

TSUKISHIMA IS A DENSE LAD. i honestly originally added the weight ranks only to see how dense he was specifically and i was not disappointed. so here's more fodder for fellow chunky tsuki enthusiasts 😌🙏

SOFIA..... 😳😳😳😳 no wonder kiroranke was down bad. she's heavier than him i loooove that for them sm. she truly did grow into an even more beautiful woman he was absolutely right.

i'll never let anyone say that golden kamuy has no twinks when edogai is right there.

hijikata is also surprisingly light; i know he's old but i was expecting maybe a bit more muscle weight considering how skilled a fighter he is and the fact that abashiri had them do a lot of manual labor.

how i calculated (for others like me who enjoy math ٩(◕‿◕｡)۶ ):

i basically went off of the fact that the smallest difference between a rank is 1 cm, so a rank above would need to be at least 1 cm taller and a rank below would need to be at least 1 cm shorter

based on that, ranks 9, 13, 14 and 15 are basically the only option, so i'm running with those being canon

for rank 17, 162 cm is directly in the middle of 161 and 163, which are the minimum and maximum value

for ranks 4, 5 and 6, instead of going for the average of the min + max, i spaced them out so that the interval between each is the same. this gave me heights with decimals for the cm, but i just removed that in the formatting to make it cleaner. the calculations themselves are using cell references though so the height in feet uses the value with the decimals for the conversion.

the min + max of each is easy to calculate, so if you wanna know (for instance) the tallest height that vasily could be, it'll just be 184 - 3 spots down, so max 181 cm

Some Updates!

Heyo! Welcome back. I come bearing some update news!

FANGAME PTRORGRESS! (I'm not retyping that)

The textboxes type more accurately to Deltarune in particular - now automatically shuffling to the next line for me rather than requiring a special "instruction character." There's a LOT of improvements to the textbox now, which was an absolute headache and a half to code, but since it IS the most fundamental required feature for all of an Undertale project to work, I think my time bashing my head in over making it function well was necessary.

The party member pathing code is ALMOST done. It's actually surprisingly not as challenging as I thought it'd be. I put it off for so long because I thought trying to code it would deal actual psychic damage to myself, but it doesn't seem to be that bad. (And I know now I'm gonna find some massive bug with my code that's gonna give me a headache trying to fix for 6 hours straight, but oh well, 'tis what I signed up for, was it not?)

Battle coding is... about the same as it was when I last talked about it however-many-months ago. I'm still not entirely sure where to place the first one that'd work best from a game design perspective - if it should be before or after a party member is added.

Some spoiler stuff I can't talk about, of course. But, like, not even in a cheeky little spoiler section, either. I want y'all to experience this for yourself for sure

The Next Showcase Video

I still do plan on the next showcase video being published before the end of January. I'm setting this more for myself so I get my ass in gear and finish it. It's not in any danger of NOT being released by then, but still, I work best with deadlines.

HOWEVER, I would like to point out that what you see in the video will still be in a very unpolished state. For example, the background graphics for the Surface cutscene are still very much not complete, there's no new music in yet, some animations are janky, Asriel is still (currently, might change soon) hijacking Ralsei's voice blip and Hercine's blip still (Also currently, might change soon) needs to be redone...

Etc., etc., you get the idea by now. Maybe I'm hammering it home too much, but I don't want expectations for this to be TOO high. It's still incomplete. And as time goes on, this beginning section is probably what I'll continuously make showcase videos for.

So, I decided to go on a hunt for another tarot card reader just for the sake of discussion and I'll gloss over things that they said that match things other readers said which is a lot, mind you.

She did say something happened between them that scared T (I'll go more in depth later). She said it was most likely an almost kiss.

She also said T is comfortable with BB and she will stay with him for a while but it might not last because their priorities will diverge in the future. Also, she said that they probably been together for a least 2 years, she doesn't think it was more than that I think it matches the time-line because apparently no one knows for long they've actually been dating.

About J: the same old story. He doesn't love her anymore, but he's basing the failing artist who clings to her because he hopes being her bf will help his career. She said his next project might bomb but she can't know for sure, but that there are things in the relationship he doesn't want people to know (take a wild guess as to what it is). He definitely feels threatened by T because it was the first time he's seen R be attracted by another man and J can't stand the thought of it. She said he's definitely bitter over their connection and hopes they stop talking to each other because ir has been bothering him.

R is in deep, deep denial. My friend said that T messes a lot with her head and her heart, but she decided to drown out those thoughts because she loves J and doesn't want to hurt him.

About and R. As I said, she also said they nearly kissed after they shared about their lives. Bare in mind that the Moon card was there which represents a secret. She believes R also told him about the hate train and how sad it made her, he tried to comfort her (she said that she could see it - I show her a picture so it could help her focus) him brushing her cheek and that's when the almost kiss happened. She said that T felt something that scared him a lot and it made him pull away because again he doesn't want to catch feelings.

I asked her why that is and answer was: he's focused on his career and in growing more before he thinks about it because when he does all his focus will be on that one thing and that one person and into making it work. He's the kind: I need to find someone worth all that type of guy. And she said it scared him because R is a friend with a bf, he's dating but mostly importantly, it was almost like a part of him knew that it'd be a point of no return not just because it would be cheating, but because deep down he knew he could fall for her hard.

Do you think that the solangelo contains more of a forceful representation, and if so, what is your advice to authors who are trying to make lgbtq+ representation seem more a part of the story/flow with the story then the opposing option?

May 22nd. I'm so sorry, my mind has been going off track for a while. I'm really sorry for the delay. 😭😭

So, regarding Solangelo as a representation, well this is gonna be hard to say lol. This has been circling the fandom since the day of its emergence, and this is certainly not a good time but eh penny for my thought ig.

Now. I suppose I have a very varying definition of representation, but let's not dwell on that. As for now, I can say that I do consider Solangelo somewhat forcefully developed. As in, the term of writing, plot-wise, etc...

It's quite difficult to say. I have no problem with Solangelo as a couple - or their dynamic - per se. Rather, it's the pacing that throws me off. This has been addressed in many posts - Solangelo has a quite... abrupt (?) takeoff. I just felt like Rick did not mean to make them a thing but just a spur of a moment - something small and... promising that you left hanging at the end of the series for reader's interpretation, for whatever reason (This actually lines up with Boo's time of releash I think? The LGBTQ+ literature being unpopular I mean).

In fact, Solangelo's whole developing process happened behind the curtains - as in, we're told, not shown. Imagine. In BOO, their friendship just barely sprouts, and the next time we see them again in TOA, they're already a couple. For the longest time possible, it was left to the reader/fanfic writers to deduce wth happen for them to become a couple in like idk 6 months? (A pretty fast process for someone like Nico imo. but that's just me).

Something like that is bound to raise some doubts.

The full picture itself is only revealed - partly, and through second reminiscence, mind you - in TSATS. It's also the reason TSATS feels kinda off to me, ig - the fact that some parts actually misalign with the established canon events, or appear like a patch to cover a hole in the piece of fabric. And some others just straight up fall into the what-the-f-was-in-your-mind-rick category. I doubt it was even Rick's initial plan to come up with TSATS in the first place.

However, it's also worth acknowledging that, whilst it would certainly help, Rick hardly has the capacity to fully-build another 5-book romance for Solangelo. That's as far as it can go (I usually think this to placate myself at the thought of the ship being undeveloped). Nico is not the franchise's protagonist (more like deuteragonist I guess), no matter how far this story goes and how widely loved he is, let alone Will.

On to the advice part.

Please keep in mind that I am, in no way, a professional or good writer, nor do I study sexual orientation and/or identity theory (I barely know the flags). I've also grown up and received education in an Estern (somewhat conserative?) country, so please take whatever I say with a grant of salt.

Now. When it comes to "make it seem more a part of the story", I... actually don't know how to say this...

Just look at the all the BL mangas (Japanese comics) and danmeis (Chinese BL literature) and BL manhwas (Korean comics). I have been reading BoyLove longggg before I even came to PJO, you know? The Eastern fandoms have surprisingly extensive LGBT content for a conservative culture, anw they have been telling and/or drawing stotries upon stories about same-sex couples since the dawn of internet. They don't even need to try. They have the image of a love, a story in their mind and just... go along with it.

You don't make it a part of the story. The story is either about it (much or little), or just nothing at all.

I'm saying making a story about it - rather than trying to incorporate it into the story. Give it background and enough development, it'd progress itself. You don't give it anything, of course it'd feel flat. This goes with any type of romance, not just LGBTQ+.

The problem with Solangelo itself, imo, is not the nature of their relationship (tho I do admit somtimes Rick makes me go wtf), but rather how they're portrayed. And furthermore, said portray in proportion to people's expectation. Solangelo, by all means, is a side-story at best (unless Rick manages to come up with a trilogy about their journey from start to finish idk 🤷‍♀️). People like it, so they tend to expect more from it, but the author's just a human.

I think this is everything... My thoughts are kinda in a jumble as I'm writing this, so feel free to ask if something doesn't make sense... This is also just my personal view lol don't take it too seriously if it differs from yours too much.

Lastly, I know my advice would probably not do much, however I hope for you to find your way to tell your stories the best you can!

Since this is an anthology and I, being the simp that I am, have watched all of the original shows, I thought it'd be fun to rank all the episodes.

The thing is, even though I have watched all of the shows, my opinion on these episodes are very reliant on my opinions of the original show as well. Meaning if I loved the original show and the our skyy episode was meh, it might be ranked lower than shows I didn't feel so highly about, but the our skyy episode delivered. Anywho-

7. Sky in your heart (ep 3-4)

Tbh I wasn't the biggest fan of the original show, but this episode was very in tone with said show. It was overall, cute. The greenflags were greening with the communication and lack of jealousy. You go boys! Live your happiest life.

But I did miss the other pair of the show (idk if you can technically count it as this show since they were two 7 episode series, but I would have liked to see even a cameo from them). Good vibes. I liked it.

6. My school president (ep 9-10)

To anyone who hasn't already, you havvvveee to go watch the original show. It is so sweet it will give you diabetes. And I loved the concept of this episode.

As a fanfic author I was mostly here for the validation that all our headcanons are canon. But, it felt like a highlight reel with roles reversed. Which is interesting but 2 episodes wasn't enough time to develop that story.

For what they attempted they did aight! I kinda wish we got something more post canon in their universe, happy cute boyfriends™, but yk. It's okay. More Fourth and Gemini always makes me happy. Plus the cast seemed to have fun filming it if the behind the scenes are any indication.

5. A boss and a babe (ep 11-12)

Listen, half the excitement of our skyy is missing these characters. So it was surely a choice by gmm to time this episode riiiighhhttt after the finale of the show.

That being said, this episode was pretty dang fun. Am I still mourning the loss of multiple unresolved storylines from the show they set up and literally forgot about- yes (Drake, you deserved better🤧). But considering our skyy 2 is the biggest "who took my FANFIC out of ao3 and into YouTube" plot ever, I'll overlook it.

This episode managed to do what neither enchanté nor abaab did- show me the appeal of forcebook. They are very cute in light-hearted settings. I'm yet to see them thrive in the drama, but only friends is happening soon... Soooooo

4. Never Let Me Go (ep 1-2)

Now thiss was a perfect soulmates AU for TV (or YouTube in this case) if I've ever seen one. We got the time travel, the drama, the classism all wrapped in a ball of all fluff and no angst. They understood the assignment.

Again. I missed my second couple (I am Perth Stan, I can't help myself. The 6 of us who demanded justice for Chopper, I see you!) But I didn't miss them too much, coz the premise was fun.

(I also loved the house set that they had!! I wanna go visit it if it's real!)

3. The Eclipse (ep 5-6)

These two episodes are single-handedly responsible for increasing the average number of kisses in Our Skyy. I wasn't even expecting this many? Even if it was basically just prep for Khao and First in Only friends, I'm still here for it.

It was also surprisingly an episode that caused a lot of debate about Akk and/or Ayan being out of character, which I didn't expect, but have my opinions on.

But overall, it was an extremely sweet episode with political and social commentary that the show had, but commentary lite. The locations were fantastic! I honestly just want more First and Khao in everything, please and thank you.

2. Bad Buddy x A Tale of a Thousand Stars (ep 13-16)

Speaking of who took my fanfic out of ao3, OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I knewwww we can trust in P'Aof for delivering a story. BUT DID I EXPECT HIM TO PUT ALL MY FAVS IN THE SAME SCREEN AT THE SAME TIME???? What great times we're living in *sighs in bl*.

Watching EarthMix slip back into phuphatian was a pleasure. Ohm and Nanon are sooo awesome! I missed Pat and Pran so much. The crossover could have easily gone into the forced-for-fanservice territory, but they had a plot for it!🤌🏼

They brought back characters that felt like home. Even the conflicts were so lived in. It is self aware in what small things can blow out of proportion.

Watching Pat and Pran in their college years hiding their relationship after reading countless fanfics about it- just, tears. Thanks! I love them. I missed them. I'm living for this. I see why this was at the end. Worth all the hype and more.

Still screaming about this, and have been for two weeks. Will keep you updated on when or if I stop.

Buuuut the reason I didn't rank this at the top is because we didn't get enough bad buddy in the crossover. I loved both the shows, but i feel like pat pran were slightly overshadowed. I was lowkey cringing by the end too with the second atots recreation of the series!? Oh god. But we got a proposal! And the confirmation it's an open secret?!? And whatever tf it was that korn and wai were doing backstage🤡. So it was almost in the number one spot, it's just that I preferred my actual number one spot episode more.

1. Vice Versa (ep 7-8)

Did I expect vice versa to be this high on my list, nope. Did I fall and virtually adopt this kid as soon as he came on screen... Maybe👀. Are Jimmy and Sea climbing up on my couples i can't wait to see more of this yes- also maybe.

But even otherwise, I think this episode had the most solid and cohesive storyline. Everyone felt familiar and acted in character. They even wrapped up the whole random-kid-showed-up-at-our-front-door plot surprisingly well. Like if you watched the episode, they left very clear hints.

They even kept the colour theme (even though multi colour isn't technically a colour, would have gone with white or black maybe, but that's just me).

I did not expect this to be my number 1. Actually, i was barely even looking forward to this episode. But it was a pleasant surprise.

And I was shooketh, considering my biggest complaint about the original show was that they left too many threads loose.

Jimmy and Sea were so good! Got me even more excited to see them in Last Twilight (in P'Aof we trust).

Writeup: AOpen i945GMm-HL shenanigans

AOpen i945GMm-HL - The Retro Web

Welp. This board is weirder than I ever thought it'd be. Not the board in general, but the specific one I bought.

To begin, it turns out that my particular board, and likely many others of the same model, are OEM-customized boards that AOpen provided to a little company called RM Education. They make all-in-one PCs for the UK market.

...And they are using evaluation BIOSes (in other words, BIOS software that's normally only meant for prototyping and... well, evaluation) in their retail boards.

My specific board contains BIOS version R1.08, which is actually R1.02 apparently. There is evidence of an R1.07 existing as well from a reddit thread on the r/buildapc subreddit, but I doubt that it's been dumped anywhere.

Moving on to the original point of this writeup, I got this board because I wanted to build a system that pushed the 32-bit Core Duo T2700 as far as possible, meaning I needed a mobile-on-desktop board. AOpen built a reputation for doing this sorta stuff in the 2000s, so I went ahead and picked one of their boards for use (although I would've much preferred using the top of the line AOpen i975Xa-YDG instead if it were being sold anywhere. That's a VERY tasty looking board with its full size DIMM slots and SLI-compatible dual PCIe x16 slots and ability to crank the FSB all the way to 305MHz).

Slightly surprisingly, the Core Duo T2700 is quite the overclocker! It's able to push from 2.3GHz all the way up to 2.7GHz with some FSB overclocking using the SetFSB tool. It's multiplier-locked to a range from 6.0 to 14.0, so I can only push it through this means.

The board I'm using, the AOpen i945GMm-HL, supports running the FSB up to 195MHz. It's okay-ish in terms of stability, but crashes when running Aida64 benchmarks unless I loosen the memory timings from the 5-5-5-15 settings that it uses at 333MHz to 5-6-6-18, which is just the tiniest bit faster than its stock settings for 400MHz operation by SPD. With these settings, it's much more stable and is able to run the benchmarks, though unless I lower the FSB from 195MHz to 190, it will consistently crash Chrome when trying to play Youtube videos on integrated graphics. I'll likely experiment some to see if adding a card capable of handling the video playback in hardware helps.

For now, this is all for this blog post. I'll follow-up with more details as they come in reblogs. As follows are the specs of the system:

rune is an alias they chose to avoid being tracked after leaving sharlayan, only to later find out no one had enough interest in their research to warrant finding them :| but they liked it so it stuck

they do have a proper elezen name but i keep changing it cause i'm indecisive, but also they'd only use rune around most people anyways so it's fine fffff someone says they're good at inscribing runes one time and they make it their whole thing

ooc reason is cause i name all my game characters some variant of rune aren after my first skyrim character so i don't spend 6 hours on the character create screen and i didn't think i'd like playing enough to worry about a lore compliant name OTL

rune naturally has greyish brown hair, they get the top bleached, this is an excuse for me to show them with their hair grown out lol

I've tried them with yellow before which worked surprisingly well, they'd try any colour as long as it keeps the two-tone

what does your wol/oc think about archon loaf? are they from sharlayan? was 5.3 the first time they tried it?

rune is sharlyan. unfortunately. they love it. even after leaving they still eat it when they wanna work instead of make real food. eating a proper meal will make them sob with how nice it tastes, then later they're back to eating the stupid loaf again.

their mum grew up near gridania and makes a somewhat nicer version without the fish. it still has most of the uh- qualities of a traditional archon loaf though

Surprisingly as much as I Love writing angst, none of my published fics actually really end on an angsty note. The closest would have to be "Doing Your Best (And Still Failing)" because it was written about my WoL A'cera after losing his first fight with Zenos during Stormblood, so it's a bunch of his raw emotions from the encounter.

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Probably "Just Exhale", which is my personal take on the end of the MSQ for Endwalker with my WoL Alyx after they land back in the Ragnarok following the encounter with Meteion.

Dialogue, it's the thing everyone always points out to me that they enjoy in my writing and it's usually always the starting point for my fics

Prose lol. I struggle so hard sometimes with connecting scenes and describing whats happening when people aren't actively speaking. I've gotten better at it but it took a lot of conscious effort to learn it

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I rarely do it, most things I write are in my native language media already, but whenever I do it I usually just italicize it, write it in English and make mention of the language switch in the paragraph somewhere so the reader knows it's happened

19. First fandom you wrote for?

DRAGON BALL Z BABEYYY I'm not ashamed of that I still love DBZ so much. I was so shameless and wrote my own oc to be Vegeta's cousin in one of my first fics and I had fun doing it. They've long since been deleted, not because I Wanted to do so but for other reasons I don't feel like going into rn.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

"Help Me, Heal Me" by far out of my published ones. It's my most solid out of them and I feel like I really nailed Chris and Leon's dynamic well in it, it's the one I'm most proud of ~

S5 Pregnancy AU - I’d love to hear about!

Welp, this is embarrassing – mostly because this has been sitting in my inbox for almost two weeks, and I kept saying “I need to write something up!” and then… I didn't. (Or rather, I did, then I forgot to post it.) Sorry for the wait, Lil! Thank you for asking <3 (I'll divide this up because I keep writing about the process and how it came to be, instead of any actual, interesting facts.)

I have talked about this one in the past though I don't have a tag for it. The gist is what it says… (Early) S5 but CJ is pregnant. I had this idea over a year ago when I hit mid/late S4 in my rewatch. I thought it'd be interesting to explore some of her disappointment at that time if you added an unexpected pregnancy to it, even if I had the idea before even getting there, lol. Think, the ending-ish of Han, or parts of Disaster Relief. (Both of which do feature! I surprisingly focus a lot on Disaster Relief.)

The thing with S5 is that the timeline is so weird, and I feel I've also created one that isn't entirely realistic but I think it works within the story. (IIRC, the season starts in “May” but also July, then the Shutdown is in November, lmao. A few of the episodes are sneaky two-parters that flow into each other… See 5-6, 7-8.) I've finally gotten out of the no-man's-land I wrote myself into and the next chapter or two, knowing myself, will deal with 7-8! There are a couple of scenes that should be fun to write! (There are so many details I want to mention that are technically spoilers for early twists…)

Every time I had the urge to write it, I'd edit whatever outline I was working in, and though I kept some details… my muse decided to make a big change early on that completely changed the fic's direction. That, and my inability to write anything succinctly. No reason why this story will cross the 100k barrier in a couple of chapters, tops. (It's sitting at 85k across 12 chapters. I think it'll be less than 20 chapters total. Hopefully.)

This might be too long to share snippets, but I've shared some either on the server or here, a couple of months ago.

For more irrelevant details on the “process”…

As I hinted at, I wrote an outline or two around this time last year, because I couldn't stop thinking about it. When I say outlines, it's a general path for the story to follow – ideas, suggestions of dialogue and/or scenes I write to myself; all focused around some sort of chapter structure. I find it much easier to write if I write down where a chapter might go, even if it's just a few lines saying “This happens → then this → finally this;” otherwise, it takes me months. Some would say that I should post it and get encouragement that way but… I hate being dependent on something I can control even less than my muse? That's not for me, thank you. Mad respect for those who work like that.

It was meant to be short – 1-2 “long” chapters per trimester, more if needed, but then interludes in between trimesters. It's not that. Most chapters currently cover 1-2 weeks, but there is not really a pattern. I was afraid of having a fic that would take over my life like the WOWO did three years ago… And it has, but I've also taken breaks and not felt too guilty about them. I definitely don't want this one to sit in my drive and have me wondering what to do with it.

(The novel, aka WOWO, aka IM AU (2021): 150k written in a little over five months, even with extended breaks over the summer. Still hits, even with all its crazy decisions, maybe because of them, but it's also been too long, and it will always remind me of someone who kinda hurt me. Attempts to replace those memories by sharing the story with others, trying to gather whether it's worth posting, have failed, lmao. One day! Maybe!)

But yeah. Uuuuuhhhh. As I've said… Twelve chapters in ten months, 85k words… It's still not done. In fact, I've repeatedly said I am unsure of how to end it (beyond the obvious), but I'd estimate it to be under 20 chapters. I'm not posting it anywhere yet because I want to be able to edit it as a whole and try to make it more consistent; to add little details as I come up with them. There's also the fact that I am not skilled enough to write a compelling story that mixes politics and emotion into something remotely engaging. As a result, the story's politics are very surface-level, and probably repetitive at points, but it's also true I've always been more interested and focused on the emotional journey and the relationship(s) at its center. (Which should surprise exactly no one who's ever read one of my stories.)

But, as critical as I might sound of myself here, I am having fun writing this and I'm committed to seeing it through. I just keep having ideas for stories down the line, putting actual show events through a 'but she also has a kid' perspective.

Jasmine Tea - If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? Norway! Not for any super specific reason like I legitimately thought I was a descendant from Vikings from age 6-12 due to a miscommunication with my family somehow and made it my goal at that age to someday travel to Norway to "embrace my roots" and at this point it'd just be funny to go there because of that or anything no sir (😭) but bc it's cold and snowy, which I love, I rlly like the architecture and from what I can tell it's a really introverted society if that makes sense, like next to no small talk. Perfect for me since I'm a socially anxious introvert!

Also there are just some super beautiful places there

Aside from that, obviously Japan cause vending machines 😂 and much more quality green tea than in the US Hot Chocolate - Are you an affectionate person?

Iced Cafe - Favorite thing to do on rainy days? - Honestly just lay in bed in my pajamas 😂 Reading sometimes depending on the vibe. Always drinking tea.

It's currently raining and dark so it's impossible to get anything done... but that's okay, sometimes the body and mind need a day to just rest. Rain is a reminder for that.

Mocha - Dream Job? - Therapy! I'm officially starting my psychology degree in the Fall. Even if I can't achieve that, I'd like it to be something in the mental health field. If my childhood taught me anything, it's that there isn't nearly enough support for or education about mental health. If there was, it wouldn't have taken me 10 years to get proper treatment ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mint Tea - How do you relax? - Gaming, taking bubble baths, snackin', movie watching... depends. If I'm really stressed, surprisingly Hollow Knight is good to play since it requires so much focus.

Vanilla Latte - Board games or drinking games? - Board games. I haven't played any in a long while tho 😭 My stomach is sensitive af so I avoid alcohol these days

Herbal Tea - You’re at a candle shop, what scented candle do you buy? - OOF tough question... idk depends on the selection. Big fan of chai scent, amazing for cozy Fall days. Cotton's also great to burn after cleaning or during a bath. I also love lilac (if you couldn't tell I adore candles)

Shoutout to my bestie @ellulemmu (again TYSMM) for artwork of CHKN poacher!! Holy crap. Just imagine just walking thru the wilderness and u get shot with a tranquilizer dart and the last thing u see is this MF?! OMGGG😫

So I got CHKN again on Steam since it has been made free earlier this year (I think it was). The last time I played was sometime in 2015 or 2016 when I watched Jacksepticeye play it so I just got the demo then. It's been over half a decade since then and they are... still in early access with no big updates in the past 3 years or so. This was last on my list of Steam games to play and only got it because it was free.

Surprisingly, it's one of the better games that I have gotten recently! Despite (still) being in early access it's a fairly large game so far, like I can spend an entire day doing 1 task (like building or fighting bosses) and still have it stay interesting. All of the creatures make fitting noises, most items and menus have sound effects, the terrain is fecking beautiful and it seems mostly balanced as of now.

I've ended up just making and hatching bunches or hornhowlies, mostly because I'm missing World Of JumpStart but also because they are fairly effective at doing most things in this game. It's literally just so fun gliding around on my hornhowlie creatures, exploring the map and finding new creatures to fight or tame. It's also fun to loot poachers and see what kind of wonky tech they have. I was so spooked the 1st time I found a poacher, It was night time and I just saw this human figure with green and black as I died (early game tho).

Honestly I'm ok if it never gets another update. It would be better for it to stay in the state that it's in now rather than turn into an ugly crappy pay to win game. That being said, there's some cool ideas that I have for it that are not being added!

CREATURE DEPTH

The player should be able to tame aggressive creatures by scaring it/lowering heath and then feeding it. You should also be able to lead multiple creatures and attach the leash to a fence post, the ball should also work like playing fetch.

MORE POACHER STUFF

It would just be cool to have stuff like larger poacher camps, maybe poacher exclusive potions that mess up your creatures. Since they're poachers maybe they would be storing eggs with exclusive creature parts in them.

SOUNDTRACKS

There's some short tracks for thing like when your creatures level up but it would be nice to have soundtracks for when you are just wandering or if the music changes if you are being attacked. Add heavy metal to boss fights.

CHEAPER TOOLS

It seems just a bit unbalanced that we gotta defeat like 6 bosses before we can get the tool to mine ore to craft windows. Maybe the boss fights could unlock more armors or higher tier weapons and we could use cheap picks to mine early on. However, since there aren't that many items in the game it's understandable.

CHARACTER EDTIOR

I know this game is all about making creatures but we should be able to pick at least our hair and eye colors. The armors is all the avatar customization we get now. Though I do like the newer player model more than the old one.

MORE DECOR

I'm talking things like chairs, tables, pots for plants, maybe rugs or display cases for your favorite items, shelves and rugs. Thought that is a lot for early access still. It'd also be cool to name light beacons so we can tell them apart in the map menu.

Seriously, give this game a try! It's free atleast for now, it's crashed twice on me but I turned down the graphics and it's working fine now.
