Hi, I’m drafting up a story about Arra and Cregan and I’ve been going in circles a bit on the logistics of how Cregan Stark and Arra Norrey could be considered childhood friends. As far as I know, this doesn’t seem plausible due to proximity, as House Norrey resides in the high mountains north of the Wolfswood rather than near Winterfell.
I thought that Rickon Stark might have sent Cregan to foster with House Norrey, but I find it unlikely he’d send his only heir to foster before the age of thirteen. Additionally, I imagine Cregan would have remained in Winterfell after succeeding his father upon his death. Given these factors, I can’t think of any other explanation for their friendship. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts!
Hey, so there's a really good possible answer for why Arra Norrey (of the northern mountain clans) and Cregan Stark became childhood friends! It seems you've overlooked the factor of the winter town. That's the town just outside Winterfell, which is normally 4/5th empty, but during autumn and winter gains a population of up to 15,000 people, becoming the second-largest settlement in the North (surpassing Barrowton, but after White Harbor). And as Jon notes about the mountain clans,
"It has always been a harsh life up there. When the snows fall and food grows scarce, their young must travel to the winter town or take service at one castle or the other." —ADWD, Jon X
This is further clarified in TWOIAF:
The most prominent towns in the North are the "winter town" beneath the walls of Winterfell and Barrowton in the Barrowlands. The former is largely empty in spring and summer but filled to bursting in autumn and winter with those seeking the protection and patronage of Winterfell to help them survive the lean times. Not only do townsmen arrive from the outlying villages and crofts, but many a son and daughter of the mountain clans have been known to make their way to the winter town when the snows begin to fall in earnest.
Note especially that "many a son and daughter of the mountain clans" come to the winter town for Winterfell's patronage, which may not only explain how Cregan and Arra met and became friends, but also the meeting of Rodrik Stark (the Wandering Wolf) and his wife Arya Flint, a century later. Also, though the northern mountain clans are a bit more... shall we say, rustic than the Northern nobles outside of the mountains, the clan chieftains are still treated as lords by House Stark. So if Arra was a daughter of The Norrey, sent south to the winter town when the snows threatened her clan, it's likely that she would be personally greeted by Lord Rickon and his heir Cregan. Perhaps the Starks even took her in as a ward (since F&B calls her Cregan's "companion"). And things would follow from there.
But does the timeline support this theory? It's not laid out directly, but yes, it does! We know that 120 AC was called "the Year of the Red Spring", for all the tragic deaths that happened that year (to House Strong and House Velaryon). Spring is preceded by winter (naturally), so an unknown few years prior to 120, when Cregan was less than 12 years old, would have been the autumn and winter years when Arra came to the winter town. And quite possibly there may have been another winter even earlier in Cregan's youth where they could have encountered, though most likely they would have been extremely young at the time.
And there's other possible ways they could have met! While you note it's unlikely that Cregan was sent to foster in the mountains by his father, the opposite is not an issue. (Note also that fostering typically occurs well before age 13— Ned, for example, became Jon Arryn's ward at age 8, and the Targaryen princess of the Pact of Ice and Fire was supposed to go north at age 7.) It could be that even before the autumn and winter years, Arra was sent south by her father to be Lord Rickon's ward. (Why? Fosterings are sometimes made to repay a debt, you can make something up, something with a wildling invasion maybe.) Or maybe Arra was born in the winter town, her mother sent south in an especially harsh winter, and the baby taken in by the Starks because she was frail and needed a maester's care — again, it's fanfic, until GRRM says otherwise you're free to arrange matters in any way you like so that Arra can become Cregan's "beloved childhood companion".
Also, please note that Cregan did not succeed his father after his death in 121 AC, as he was only 13 years old. His uncle Bennard ruled as regent for the next 5 years, refusing to give up the post when Cregan turned 16 and became a legal adult. It was only some time in 126 AC that the 18-year-old Cregan imprisoned his uncle and cousins and took control of the rule of the North (and married Arra shortly afterwards). So, it's not impossible that the conniving Bennard might've sent Cregan away during his minority, to rule without his nephew's interference. You could have Arra as Lord Rickon's ward for many years, then upon his death she returns home, only to be followed by Cregan who becomes her father's ward for 3 years, until his 16th birthday when he returns home to take his seat (and is frustratingly blocked from doing so).
The possibilities are endless... well, maybe not endless, but you're more free to be creative with the worldbuilding and history than you may think. I wish you all the best with your fic!

The thoughts ran out of control so here’s more detective yomi

This one will contain a lot and I mean a LOT of rambling, the demons need to be let out…..
Contains some game spoilers for chap 5
I thought ab how yomi would climb the ranks of the WDO a bit more and I decided it was with the help of shinigami hitman. (Will get back to this later)
Some things to get out of the way first:
- Yomi’s past in this au. Yomi has always seen a lot of death happening around him since childhood so that’s why he doesn’t feel anything when it comes to the matter. I’m also thinking yomi’s childhood involved a lot of kill or be killed situations, so he develops that mentality down the line. Wherever he goes, death follows, and because his fate is so intertwined with death, it eventually leads up to him joining the WDO and finding the book of death.
- As for how he gets to the book of death, I’m honestly not sure how he manages to breach security. That or he was used in some sorta side experiment and given the book as one of the procedures by the UG but then he kinda just killed em and ran
- After he obtains the book of death he forms a contract. Shinigami hitman asks to see yomi’s life through to the end in return for his powers (bc why is this bitch always attracting death??). Also I want to just, make some slight altercations to the game lore here. In this universe the book of death can only be opened by those who are close to dying (less than 5 years left to live). People who have spiritual affinity like vivia can only see the death god inside and feel it’s aura, but cannot open the book. There is a chance they can open it, but only if shinigami hitman chooses to let them.
Ok with that out of the way, back to how yomi climbed the ranks with the help of his shinigami (calling him fake zilch for convenience). He uses fake zilch’s powers to solve mysteries (as well as crush those in his way). In a sense, he has already performed multiple detective deeds all in the span of less than a year, but because the culprits keep dying, there is no way to properly evaluate the things he did. But he DID solve the mystery and bc death has always followed him everywhere so people in the WDO’s just like “yeah checks out”. So with a lot and I mean a LOT of skepticism he gets promoted to a master detective and also earns the title of ‘grim reaper’ (this’ll be important later) in the process bc everywhere he goes someone dies.
I should reiterate that Yomi absolutely does not feel guilty when killing in the mystery labyrinth, in fact, he feels great about using it to find the culprits. 2 reasons. First, he believes the blood is on fake zilch’s hands bc yomi didnt actually reap the culprit’s souls himself. This view is heavily challenged in chap 4. Second, to him, he’s enacting justice on the guilty and he’s not in the wrong for doing that. Like the original yomi, he views justice in a very black and white way. Fake zilch has his own opinions on the matter, but he is far more interested to see Yomi’s story to the end to bother doing anything ab his behaviour. He only opens the mystery labyrinth for yomi if the case is very complicated (except master detectives take on a lot of absurd cases, so you know how that goes)
As for how he became number 1, he probably just murdered the former one like how his original killed Amaterasu’s old ceo. Then after murder he just, took no. 1’s position without anyone knowing. Not much thought put into this part yet sorry lol. Also I’d say the UG’s successful homunculus did not use the world’s brightest mind but rather the man most associated with death, bc they didn’t obtain no 1’s DNA, and while Yomi is intelligent he isn’t even a contender for the spot.
Circling back to the grim reaper title, it comes into play on the Amaterasu express. Yomi was not dispatched to kanai ward, the real trainee Yuma was sent, but Yomi drugged him and put him in the disconnected 5th car early on. He then asks fake zilch to take his memories after he locks himself into one of the toilet stalls in car 1. Wakes up later yali yali yada, the “where am I who am I” panic, sees his letter thing “oh I’m yomi hellsmile!!”, “wait how am I already on the express ??”, “ok whatever ig”, goes into car 2 and sees detectives, then intro scene. Except yomi isn’t a doormat (no hate to Yuma I love him actually) and has an attitude lol he probably starts bickering with aphex and both nearly get physical before shinigami (who’s now the hitman, who disguises as a diff MD) and melami restrain both of them 💀
Then everyone introduces themselves and the moment yomi says his name the other MDs are like hold tf up why is the grim reaper on the Amaterasu express with us?? So now the strange circumstance is the fact that yomi appeared instead of the trainee. Still the same “oh someone who shouldn’t be here is here” type mystery but slightly different. Suspicions rise and people are starting to get riled up in the express, but then shinigami eases it up and the MDs all realize that if the amnesiac before them actually is the WDO’s grim reaper then they’re in deep shit. (They are) cue rest of chap 0.
Also, during the entirety of the introduction up to yomi getting drugged and passing out in the bathroom, fake zilch is actually able to show himself. He just… doesn’t to act like they just formed a contract.

carnelian is intrigued; practicing on their own, magic at first weak but stable - tarot more game than serious intuition, until intuition swallows them whole. prone to bouts of unpredictability, turning against them as emotions sway alongside reefs against water, against wind. each spell's attempt is anxiety - latched; hand gripping upon shoulder, sinking them into ground; head a mess of thoughts, tornado ripping up tree and house.
every st. germain has a plan laid out; ambitious lot, wanting power of their own for one reason or another; carnelian is simple - wants the joy of it, wants to soothe their own thoughts, entertain friends and fans alike. the oceans calls to some, the moon to others; the stars to carnelian, shining brighter for them than anyone else. some nights sat upon angel's peak; they hear their whispers among one another, is that one of us? another fallen star? brethren, kindred, o' stardust of mine?
the more carnelian studies; the louder the whispers seem, brighter against the sky - almost visible beside the sun, places they shouldn't be. they want something from them, something intangible; something unfathomable - undecipherable, despite hours spent crossed against the moon, spliff in hand as limb leers precariously off cliffs edge. what does it all mean - what do they want?
they want a god reborn; brought to fruition, breathed back to life - each vessel unworthy except for one; a lanky body, softly unproportioned, unexpected and unassuming. their dreams litter with the memories of stardust, of creation; stars forming and dying, colliding into one another; more nights than not they awaken burning hot, sweating through cloth and out of bed, closer and closer towards the cliff.
carnelian severs the line; afraid of the night sky, and how it wants to swallow them whole - they stopped visiting the stars, stopped heeding the nebulous. sleep lessens - fearful of their grip upon them, parasocial a whole new meaning. if it goes ignored - they'll go away, right? stars burst eventually, don't they?
friends of family and of childhood: while not well to do; the st. germain family is practically devo legend, knows just about everyone and everything. friendships span generations, or sometimes just years.
relatives of the st. germains: extended family, in all their glory; fishermen and witches alike, mortal or not; half - nymph cousins and nephews and nieces with the blood of fae inside.

magic's not abandoned; just shift - geared, other options explored; options that don't compel carnelian to join the stars above, horoscopes stuck to the daily newspaper only, still read loyally. it takes form of illusions and small tricks; the wind picking up more than usual, lightning calls from overhead. it's cloudier at night now, than before; can barely see the moon, let alone stars. aura cleansings and healings; repenting for their subconscious calling for godhood, still nails clawing skull.
they keep busy, picking up instruments at their pleasure; playing a slow ballad of girls just wanna have fun at the back of a smoky van, crying induced afterwards. mind meld, for funsies - distract from their own thoughts by lifting the lid onto others; nosy a trait they cannot escape, knowing more than most. lips remain sealed. not out of loyalty, not many deserving of such a trait - nor of nefarious intent and future plotting. more a hub of information, than anything else; wealth in it.
natural skeptic of others; hard not to be in devotion, where one wrong step lands you inside a fairy ring, or a very convincing con between two sirens with the taste for finer things who really, really want your wallet. not to say they're not kind, they are; gives more of themselves than they intend, stumbles over themselves at times just to give it. over - righteous at times, an icon of saying i told you so in a smug tone, we get it - you've got great intuition, whatever; at least others aren't reenacting the bee movie with polaris.
carnelian is a little too optimistic; often blinded by their own wants, than what is reasonable or sound - shit at advice, echoes of follow your heart, drop everything and chase them! eat that edib - can barely make their own decisions without haywire, while simultaneously avoiding new, only embracing old. has managed the same diner since early adulthood - claims nowhere else would feel the same. a slut for temptation, and what cannot, or shouldn't be had; has gotten good at fighting quickened breath and nervous glances.
oh guide me, master jedi: someone more experienced than carnelian, who probably knows more about magic; or pretend to. god knows they need the help, lest they start lusting over stardust again.
serenades of the cheesiest, worst renditions of songs: no one can stop carnelian from yearning. a friend can be a lover, so can a stranger - who could resist an 80's boombox outside window scene?
...and carries into the future.
how long can one stay ignorant to their call? it's persistent, still; a continued whisper at the base of their skull, the farthest corner of their mind - backed into it, and growling. hungry for the attention. is it really the stars? or manipulation from another, a beckoning call for something else altogether?
it's not like the stars can craft a new grimoire for their family; what's the point of it all? their siblings have all gone off on their own routes; maybe it's time for them to find an alternative, to chase down their family spells - to find what is lost.
confusion only grows at the back of carnelian's mind, what's real, and what isn't?
the call of a stranger: a mysterious being not yet known, are they the one beckoning carnelian? what purpose is there - or maybe it's all a ruse. a false prophet. a trick.
treasure hunters! hunt that treasure!: down in the murky depths of the ocean, siren territory - lays the st. germain grimoire. they've promised a hefty reward for whoever companies them on their mission; a reward they don't yet have.

[Hi. I remembered I had this moldering in the depths of my drive folders and decided to finish it finally. So here's the Oath of Inspiration, a paladin oath all about buffing the crap out of your allies. In a 1v1 duel, this subclass is very nearly blank, but as part of a team? You're quite an effective support.]
[I will probably not ever go back to posting my own brews regularly, by the way. Suffice to say, 5e isn't inspiring me anymore, and I'm directing my brewing energies elsewhere. Alas, it is not something I can share for a while yet, if ever. I am about to start running a 5e game, though, so I'll share stuff I make for that, but that will be as it comes up in that game.]
Oath of Inspiration
The Oath of Inspiration originated with the Order of the Starshield, a loose affiliation of knights who follow the teachings of Saint Ullr Golddrake. The Knights of the Starshield accept nearly all candidates, but the Oath of Inspiration requires no dedication to any god, saint, or formalized order. It is an oath made to and enforced by the paladin themself, to use their power not to glorify themself or anything above them, but to be a beacon of light to the disempowered.
Tenets of Inspiration
The Oath of Inspiration emphasizes independence, leading by example, and empowerment. 
Inaction is Complicity. Failing to act in opposition to evil is equivalent to doing evil yourself. When darkness looms, be the light that casts it back.
Empower the Meek. You cannot be everywhere at once, and you cannot fight every evil yourself. Serve to inspire others to take action of their own initiative. 
Good and Evil are Inconstant. What is good in one context may be harmful in another. Trust your judgment, but keep an open mind.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.
3rd Level: Bless, Heroism
5th Level: Aid, Warding Bond
9th Level: Beacon of Hope, Crusader’s Mantle
13th Level: Aura of Life, Freedom of Movement
17th: Circle of Power, Holy Weapon
Channel Divinity: Inspired Words
3rd level Oath of Inspiration Feature
You may use your Channel Divinity as an action to lend your presence to others. For the next hour, any creature of your choice within 30 ft. of you may use your Charisma bonus in place of their own when making a Charisma ability check. If an affected creature’s Charisma bonus is equal to or greater than your own, they instead gain a +1 bonus to Charisma ability checks.
Channel Divinity: Inspired Zeal
3rd level Oath of Inspiration Feature
Immediately after attacking on your turn, you may use your Channel Divinity as a bonus action to inspire your allies to follow suit. Choose one friendly creature with 60 ft. who can see you. That creature may use its reaction to make one weapon attack or cast a cantrip that deals damage. If they target a creature that you hit with an attack this turn, they have advantage on their attack roll or their target has disadvantage on their saving throw.
When you reach 5th, 11th, and 17th levels in this class, weapon attacks made as a result of this feature deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage.
Aura of Inspiration
7th level Oath of Inspiration feature
At 7th level, your mere presence inspires your allies to greatness. Whenever a creature other than you that is within 10 feet of you and can see you misses with an attack or fails a saving throw or contested ability check, you may roll 1d4 and add the result to their total. This can change a failure into a success. This feature ceases to function if you are incapacitated.
Once you change a creature’s failure to a success with this feature, that creature can’t benefit from it again until 1 minute has passed.
When you reach 18th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 30 ft.
Inspire Heroism
15th level Oath of Inspiration Feature
At 15th level, your words and actions can inspire allies to fight through mortal wounds. When an ally you can see and who can hear you is reduced to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to cause them to fall to 1 HP instead. Until both you and the targeted ally have taken a turn, they are immune to damage and their HP cannot fall below one by any means. While your ally is protected in this way, they regain 2d6 hit points whenever you or they hit with an attack and whenever a hostile creature fails a saving throw against an effect either of you created.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you complete a long rest. 
Beacon of Inspiration
20th level Oath of Inspiration Feature
At 20th level, you can use a bonus action to transform into a living testament to what anyone can achieve. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits so long as you aren’t incapacitated:

Whenever an allied creature within 30 ft. of you hits with an attack or forces an enemy to make a saving throw that it fails, that ally regains 1d6 hit points.
Once you use this bonus action, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a 5th-level spell slot to use it again.

Witchcraft in Hellenismos
Disclaimer: This post is non-exhaustive, and though I'll try to equally spread my focus, it will inevitably lean towards the kinds of magik I personally practice.
Often, in modern pagan circles, people are under the impression that Ancient Hellenismos either didn't have or despised witchcraft. This is largely from three causes. The first is simply misreading, or failing to come across witchcraft in the Hellenism they research. Second is only reading about or adhering to branches that didn't like witchcraft (usually due to it being perceived as hubristic) and therefore assuming that's the most popular opinion. Finally, sometimes people apply their assumptions based on Christian and Germanic culture to Hellenismos, and assume it carries the same attitudes.
In actuality, the view of witchcraft was historically more neutral. Witches weren't typically seen as hags, but maidens, respectable men, priests, and more. It should also be noted that, frankly, "witch" is a slightly tonally incorrect translation usually applied to the word "pharmakis."
For historical attitudes towards witches, we can read works surrounding mainly Medea and Kirke, as well as Hekate if we go past pharmakeia.
But pharmakeia and nekromankia (necromancy) are far from the only forms of witchcraft or magik--which in Ancient Greek would be "mageia" or "goeteia" depending on time and place, but will simply be called "magik" here.
So, with that very long introduction, let's get into types of magik.
Pharmakeia - Herbal Sorcery, Witchcraft
Pharmakeia is perhaps the most recognizable form of magik in historical Hellenismos. As mentioned, it was associated with the heroine Medea, as well as the goddess/nymph/hero (it's complicated) Kirke. This was magik performed using the aid of herbs, and both historically and now blends magik and science. It includes brewing poisons, casting curses, potionmaking, transmutation, and more. Kirke, famously, used pharmakeia to transform men into swine, whereas Medea tended towards poisoning, but both had variety in their craft.
Generally, when pharmakeia is translated, it's done very broadly compared to other kinds of magik. For example, pharmakeia is usually translated, especially in the Odyssey, to "witchcraft" or "sorcery." Pharmakis--the word for a practitioner of pharmakeia--is usually translated to "witch." This often leads to misconceptions of witchcraft in Hellenismos being specifically oriented around herbs and transmutation, when that's only a small piece of the picture.
Nekromankia/Nekromanteia - Necromancy
Nekromankia is far more famous now in its Anglicized pop-culture form, but it was most certainly present in Hellenismos. It's important to clarify that in Ancient Hellas, nekromankia was magik pertaining to the dead, not things such as zombies and raising the dead. In Hellenismos, the maintenance of good relationships between the dead and the living is of great importance. There were plenty of festivals devoted to placating and celebrating the dead--not to mention the monthly Attic holiday Hekate's Deipnon, devoted to honoring Hekate, goddess of nekromankia. So, unsurprisingly, there were witches who gravitated towards this as a craft.
Multiple Hellenic deities were associated with nekromankia, the most notable of which being Hekate, but also Persephone. Though, of course, any khthonic deity--especially khthonic theoi who also had non-khthonic aspects--were relevant, such as Haides or Hermes. A practitioner of nekromankia would be referred to as a nekromanteías.
Manteia - Divination, Oracles
It should be noted that manteia is heavily contested as being a form of witchcraft or even magik in Hellenismos, but it certainly meets the qualifications. The main reason this debate exists is controversy around magik in Hellenismos in general, since as most Hellenists know manteia is so central to so much of our religion, and those who dislike magik are insulted by it being considered that. Additionally, the definition of magik is constantly in flux--it's debated in modern magik circles, and it's even harder to apply a definition we can hardly agree on to an ancient culture with its own independent definitions.
Manteia is, most simply, the power to give prophecies, divination, and the use of oracles. It's the power of the Pythia (Delphic Oracle), it's in the Olympian Alphabet Oracle, it's every single seer and prophecy and divinatory method known to us.
Someone who practices manteia is called a mantis (usually translated as "soothsayer" or "diviner") or a khresmologos ("oracle"), depending on station.
Heliomanteia - Solar Magik
Heliomanteia is hard to find detailed historical information on, but most simply, it's magikal invocation of the sun. This is generally done by attempting to harness the power of the sun, or by requesting the aid of solar deities (namely, Helios).
Interestingly, Helios had many associations with witchcraft and warding off evil. It could be assumed that, due to the qualities attributed to Helios, heliomanteia would be best used to reveal truth, ward off evil, harness the power of fire, promote life, and similar.
Presumably, a practitioner of heliomanteia is a heliomantis.
Goeteia - Magik, Charms
Goeteia (in modern times "goetia") is a term for magik that fell out of style for general magik around the 5th century BC in favor of mageia. It, additionally, was shoehorned into a dichotomy of theurgy (divine, "professional," and virtuous magik) and goeteia (low, malicious, and fraudulent magik). This was largely due to political and social overhaul. The name became associated with fraudulent and harmful magik, and talk of goeteia in Ancient Hellas is a major source most anti-witch Hellenists use.
The goes (practitioner of goetia) was maligned, seen as hubristic and either trying to go against the power of the gods or intending to scam others. Plato famously portrayed them as malicious frauds, and he was not alone. Since the term "goes" is generally translated as "witch," it's not a leap to figure out why this lead to a lot of anti-witch Hellenists.
However, before this (and technically after), "goeteia" simply meant magic, charms, and similar. As a unique practice, and not simply an umbrella term for witchcraft, it can be considered channeling, a relative of nekromankia, or baneful magik, depending how much one leans into the later definition.
Theourgía - Deity Work, Divine Magik
Theourgia (in modern times "theurgy") quite literally translates to "deity work" or "god(s) working." It is ritual, sometimes magik, done with the intent of invoking one or more of the theoi. This was the ritual magik often performed by priests. In fact, it could be considered the mainstream magik of Ancient Hellas--assuming, of course, that one considers it magik.
It's not only historic magik that was central to the religion, but sets historical precedent for the controversial phrase "deity work." The existence of theurgy as the "higher form" of magik in Ancient Hellas is singlehandedly enough evidence to prove the phrase is not and would not be considered inherently hubristic. It should be noted that this form isn't inherently superior, but if you asked Plato, he would disagree.
There are certainly more forms of mageia in Ancient Hellas--For example, I skipped over amulets (periapta), which were almost incontestably the most common magik in a lot of Ancient Hellas, since they could technically fit under some other crafts and because they're the easiest to research on your own. It's a similar case with potions, too.
One important takeaway is the hard line between magik, religion, and science is a fairly recent invention. Pharmakeia could act as medicine, not just sorcery. Many potions were also medication. Frankly, the more women were involved, the more practical it tended to be, with 'spells' often being genuine aids to childbirth and/or birth control. This didn't make them any less magikal, and the magik doesn't make it less real.
And I hope I made it very, very clear, but witchcraft has always been in Hellenismos, and isn't inherently hubristic. That is a myth, and is rooted often in historical (and modern) classism, misogyny, xenophobia, or similar. Always consider your source's incentive to stigmatize before discounting all Hellenic witches.

This is a theory post for Vita (ヴィータ) Music Video from Hiiragi Kirai (柊キライ) ft v_flower. This is the 7th MV of the Color Series. This will be a long explanation, so if you want to skip the detailed explanation you can read the summary section.
Character
This is the character sheet for Ruka, from the illustrator WOOMA’s twitter

Ruka (月薫) is the main character of this MV. Hiiragi-san desribe her as “a person with a lot of desire”. She is the 5th character from the Color Series (not including the demons).
Analysis
Ethymology
Ru ( 月) stands for moon. Her design is based on this (Dress, Earring, Ring, etc), I will explain this in design section . Ka (薫) stands for fragrance of flowers. This name taken from Blue Flower.  It stands for desire, love, and the metaphysical striving for the infinite and unreachable.

This is the moon cycle. You can read the symbolism here. I don’t write it here because it’s too long :). This tells the phases of Ruka’s behaviour throughout the MV. In this design, there are no the second new moon so after surrendering Ruka doesn’t have a new beginning.

This is a pulse. At the end the pulse stop moving, It symbolise Ruka’s desire to die.

This braided hair symbolize strenght of mind or oneness of mind. This is Ruka’s attempt to protect her from the demons. The five circles around her head are her spell to protect her mind from the demons.

Ruka’s left hand in christian hand gesture means speaker/I’m speaking. I don’t know the meaning of the fingerless glove, and the dress design.

Ruka’s right hand in christian hand gesture means listen. For the ring, there are many interpretation: 1. rings worn on middle finger symbolise power, balance and stability 2. In Egypt Myth, the symbol of Goddess of Truth is lapis lazuli. So lapis lazuli is called 'The Stone of Truth' 3. From antiquity, lapis lazuli has been worn in the belief that it will ward off evil 4. One famous legend stated that King Solomon was given a ring made of Lapis Lazuli by an angel. The ring gave him the power to control a group of demons to build his temple. Symbol of Ring of Solomon is Star of David (I will explain this later). This is one of Ruka’s attempt to protect her from the demons. Only the middle finger of Ruka that the color is black (I don’t know the meaning of this).

Ruka’s eyes symbolize the myth of Horus (Egyptian God). In the myth, Horus lost his right eye that symbolize sun and left with his left eye that symbolize moon. Below her left eye is a elder futhark rune for year, It can be a reference to the end of the lyrics (I only wish to switch places with that time).

From the design, I interpret the demon is a bat. The bat can be seen as a symbol of rebirth but may also simply represent Ruka looking through the darkness, as bats have excellent vision. (Source: Pistolero2314)

The roman numerals III and VI can be see on either side as well. If taken together, the number 36 has multiple interpretations such as "dark and evil" in the standard bible interpretation and "two lives" in the Judaism perspective with two 18's representing "life". (Source: Pistolero2314)
Lyrics Connection
Now I will analyse the lyrics of Vita MV and connect it with Bocca Della Verita because it is very related to Vita. I will use Ms. K lyrics version for the analysis because Ms. K is already experienced translating the color series. And I will use Tackmyn Y for another songs lyrics because of the same reason.

[1]  “Your existence gives me pain, pain!” This is one of the reason that Ruka want to die.
[2]  "You’re frivolous, full of fatigue." Misaki describe Ruka as a frivolous person despite she always get tired.
[3]  “Top secret, I can't let it be revealed.” Ruka is searching Misaki’s secret
[4] This is Ruka’s advice to Misaki to not be deceived by possibly Rinen. Misaki’s response is this "The veracity of the solution passes up through my throat."
[5]  This lyrics can be connected to this lyrics from Bocca Della Verita “My dear, why, why don't you know? That is absolutely out of the question.  If something is truly meaningful, then without using words,  You instead have to demonstrate it through attitude,  Or else everything remains unintelligible." From this lyrics, we know that Misaki gives advice to Rika that she have to do it with attitude rather than with just a mere words.

The beginning of the MV open by an octahedron. 2D Octahedron is shaped like this:

It become hexagram inside of hexagon. This two thing are related to Ruka.
The hexagon is the shape that appear in the beggining of the MV. Hexagon symbolize harmony and balance. While the hexagram is a reference to her ring (Ring of Solomon) and possibly the hexagram in Bocca Della Verita at 2:00.

You can see the ら from 止まらないことね is crumbling.This translate to “can’t be stopped” and the color of the lyrics is green. Possibly Rinen is the one responsible of Misaki’s pain and suffering.

So we see the octahedron again and some seals around it.
The first inner seals are II II V II II II V III or 22522253. when added it will become 23.
There are 2 meanings that I found:
1. Psalm 23 or the shepherd psalm. In the 4 verse, it mention the darkest valley. This is a reference to the darkness that Ruka fight
2. 23 Enigma. The 23 enigma is regarded as a corollary of the Law of Fives because 2 + 3 = 5. It explain why the number written like that from the amount of 2 and explain the amount of the outer seals 2 front and 3 back.

The second inner seal translate to: God didn't save me

The fourth inner seal translate to: Never wake up
So the inner seal is: God didn’t save me until this curse breakers never wake up
for the 2 front outer seals translate to: Darkness is warping power
and the 3 back outer seals translate to: Atone for people's sins
These are the purpose of Ruka in this whole MV, She wants the “curse breakers” to die. The curse breakers are probably the other MC because they release Sinfan from “Hell” and brought it to the world.
For the front outer seals, the darkness/demon is probably Rinen. Rinen is the one responsible for Misaki’s dead. So Ruka confront him to kill him, but he warp her spell so it doesn’t kill him.
For the back outer circle, Ruka wants to atone for people’s sins by killing the curse breakers and the darkness.

The 5 circles around her head now are gone. So, the demon is corrupting her mind. The expression is convinced that she is in the fault.

Now she is already corrupted and the ring is black. The ring is black because the eye of horus is corrupted. The destruction of the Eye of Horus is therefore equated with the darkening of the moon in the course of its cycle of phases, or during eclipses.

Now the eye of horus is already healed so the ring turns back to normal but the remains of the corruption still intact.

From this image, we know that the one who healed Ruka is Sinfan. Because in the myth the one who healed Horus’s eye is Thoth the Egypt God of Moon, and Sinfan is based from Sin The Sumerian God of Moon.

Summary
Ruka regretted her action to open the ‘Hell’ gate. The others MC blame her because of what happen to them. Ruka also regretted that she cannot save her friend, Misaki from being murdered by Rinen. So she contains Misaki’s soul in the octahedron (posibbly to bring her back to life) and confront Rinen. When she confronted Rinen, She found out about Misaki and Rinen secret. Then, She fights Rinen and searched for the truth of the secret. The closer to the truth, she became more corrupted. In the end, she lost the fight. But Ruka begged Sinfan to heals her. And the music video ends.
I interpreted Rinen as the darkness/demon because the only demon that can talk is Baphomet, and he used human version of him to talk (Leopard), And Rinen has crescent moon and his symbol is cross (X). Sinfan is based on Sin, Sumerian God of Moon. Sin name can be spelled XXX and his symbol is crescent moon.

Wow, this is a long one. I need one month to actually make the symbols connect with each other (I missed some symbols sadly :( ). Maybe I will analyse Galleria next because it is the most easy one. I have added the sources and decoration. And sorry for broken english I’m not a native :(. So until next time.

Homebrew Warlock Subclass: Myconid Great Meld
Because I was walking my dog through wet woods today, and there were so many mushrooms, so I randomly felt like making a psychic mushroom warlock? Also, myconids are cool.
OTHERWORLDLY PATRON: MYCONID GREAT MELD
The largest myconid in a colony is its sovereign, which presides over one or more social groups called circles. A circle consists of twenty or more myconids that work, live, and meld together.
A meld is a form of communal meditation that allows myconids to transcend their dull subterranean existence. The myconids' rapport spores bind the participants into a group consciousness. Hallucination spores then induce a shared dream that provides entertainment and social interaction. Myconids consider melding to be the purpose of their existence. They use it in the pursuit of higher consciousness, collective union, and spiritual apotheosis. Myconids also use their rapport spores to communicate telepathically with other sentient creatures.

The meld is the focal point of myconid life, a spore-enabled psychic union that allows them to transcend their physical existence and join their thoughts into a great group consciousness within their circles and colonies. Sometimes, myconids in meld tap into a union that goes beyond those individual circles and colonies. They transcend, a spiritual apotheosis, and reach something far greater: the Great Meld, a vast psychic union that connects myconids across the width of a world, and perhaps even further. There are some who think that the Great Meld extends across the Astral Plane, a vast web of psychic spores across the Silver Sea, connecting myconids across all realms into one great spiritual union.
And the Great Meld does not touch myconids alone. Other creatures may transcend and touch the vastness of it, retaining some element of that great union even when they return to their physical forms. Perhaps you were present, under the influence of rapport spores, when a myconid circle transcended. Perhaps you ingested a strange fungus that catapulted your consciousness into contact with the Great Meld. Perhaps you crewed on a spelljamming vessel that unwittingly crossed one of the great spore lines of the Meld in the Astral Sea. However you encountered it, the Great Meld now extends its awareness to you, and its influence to your form and powers.

PSYCHIC SPORES
Starting at 1st level, your connection with the Great Meld grants you the rapport abilities of the myconid people. As an action, you can seed a 30ft radius area around you with psychic spores. These spores can go around corners and affect only creatures with an Intelligence of 2 or higher that aren't undead, constructs, or elementals. Affected creatures can communicate telepathically with one another while they are within 30 feet of each other. The effect lasts for 1 hour.
FUNGAL DEFENSES
Beginning at 6th level, as your symbiosis with the Great Meld increases, it starts to influence your physical form. You gain resistance to poison and psychic damage. In addition, whenever you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to release a retaliatory burst of psychic spores. These spores deal psychic damage equal to 1d6 + your Charisma modifier to the attacking creature, unless it succeeds on an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC. At 14th level, this damage increases to 2d6 + your Charisma modifier.
TRANSCENDENT CONSCIOUSNESS
From 10th level, the rapport spores of the Great Meld are always present in your body and protect your mind from external influences outside of the Meld itself. You are immune to the charmed and frightened conditions, and you have advantage on saving throws to resist or end the stunned condition.
INDUCE TRANSCENDENCE
At 14th level, you gain the ability to demonstrate the existence and vastness of the Great Meld to others, as it was once demonstrated to you. As an action, you can hurl a cloud of psychic spores at a creature that you can see within 60ft of you. The creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, or be stunned for 1 minute, as the vastness of the Meld descends upon its consciousness. The target can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. Once you use this action, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

How to Play as Gwen Tennyson in DnD 5e

Today, I’m building Gwen Tennyson from the Ben 10 franchise. Specifically, I’m building Gwen from the Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien era, as it altered the capacity of Gwen’s magic from the Original Series. These were also the last Ben 10 series I ever watched, so I don’t know much about her later counterparts due largely to hating the later art styles.

Although Gwen looks human, she’s technically an alien energy being wrapped in a layer of skin. More specifically, she’s an Anodite, inheriting her powers from her grandmother, Verdona Tennyson. Gwen’s full Anodite form is capable of flight, which her base form cannot do, and she cannot stay in her Anodite form for long without risking never turning back to human. That sounds awfully similar to a Protector Aasimar, which causes her to glow with radiant energy, fly, and unleash more power when casting her spells. Thanks to Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, we can alter her stats to +2 INT, +1 WIS. She gains 60 feet of Darkvision, the Light cantrip, learns Celestial, resists Radiant and Necrotic damage, can heal with her touch, as well as the Radiant Soul feature.
For her background, Gwen is a member of the Plumbers, a secret organization that deals with alien threats to the Earth. That’d make her a Faction Agent for Insight to find aliens in disguise, and Arcana to know lore about aliens.
Gwen is neither rule-oriented or a rule-breaker, making her Neutral Good.

WIZARD SCHOOL OF ABJURATION
Gwen’s primary thing a fight is to throw up a barrier or shield. While her magic is wide and varied, making her a good candidate for a Wizard, her shields and barriers are her go-to in combat. I did consider Sorcerer, as her ability to do magic originates from her Anodite ancestry, which would make her a Divine Soul Sorcerer, but Sorcerers have miniscule spell lists, and Gwen didn’t just get her magic. In the original series, Gwen had to study magic to learn it, and this is upheld in the Alien Force series. She has the capacity for magic as an Anodite, but has to study magic to hone her skills. Without study, she’d just be an alien in human skin. Her Arcane Ward can also act like her barriers, providing temporary cover but breaking when the Temporary HP runs out.

While we can’t do everything Gwen can do, such as her platform staircases, we’ve done a pretty good job translating her abilities to DnD. Aliens are always a little sketchy in DnD since sci-fi and fantasy don’t tend to blend well, but then, Ben 10 as a series never was one to shy away from aliens and wizards existing in the same universe.

Request: learning to love part 2 with reader being super attached to Chris and Tobin then someone coments about it and reader starts to feel insecure about it again and Tobin and Chris has to reassure her again
You pulled the blankets tighter around you, padding through the chilly apartment towards the sound of your mama’s voice. The cold Manchester weather wasn’t quite agreeing with you, and paired with the holidays, you had been a bit on edge for the past few days. 
You never understood what the big fuss around Christmas was (as you had never been visited by Santa when you were younger), and Christmas Trees kinda freaked you out (Forster father number 3 had sent one through a window on your first Christmas with them). Though Christen and Tobin tried to show you some holiday traditions, you just didn’t understand why making cookies and drinking hot chocolate were supposed to put the world in a more giving mood. 
You rounded the corner, glancing to the left where Christen was sitting on the couch, and Right where Tobin was talking at the dining room table. You thought it was strange they never did video calls from the same room, but if it made them happy then who were you to judge. 
You sighed, deciding that Christen looked more cuddly, and began shuffling in her direction. She glanced over the top of her laptop at you, opening her arms to invite you in as she took in your tired form. 
“Hmm, you’re warm,” You mumbled, wigging into the woman to find your favorite spot. Christen giggled, wrapping her arm around you and pulling you closer, placing a kiss on the crown of your head. The two of you had grown close (almost as close as you and Tobin) in the past few months, and while you and Tobin bonded over art, you had become her cuddle buddy. Plus with the bad feelings the holidays always dredged up, you had been a bit more clingy than usual (not that her or Tobin were complaining) and her calming figure had put you at ease. 
“I’m glad baby, just a few more minutes and then we can all go to bed alright?” Christen asked softly, running a comforting hand through your hair. 
“You don’t have to rush, I’m comfy now,” You mumbled, allowing your mom’s scent to relax you. Now that she was here to ward off your nightmares, you were finding it difficult to stay awake. 
“Awe, is our favorite designer in training tired?” Megan jested from the screen, and you stuck your tongue out at her. 
“In training? My design sold out in less than a day,” you grumbled. You had been honored to work with your Ma on the popsicle capsule and were super excited that your work had done well. It was nice to know your art was appreciated, even if it wasn’t the typical portraits you did. 
Megan laughed, nodding in concession, glad you had warmed up to her. You were making amazing strides with not only the women that had become your moms but with the team as a whole. 
“The time change is a little much for us all I think,” Tobin said, glancing over at the two loves of her life from the kitchen table. God, you had come so far, had grown so comfortable coming to them when you weren’t feeling alright. 
“We all know the truth, that kid is just super attached to you, and probably can’t even sleep by herself,” Kling laughed, not noticing how you flinched slightly. You didn’t know Kling as well as you knew Megan or any of the other members of the USWNT and you weren’t quite sure how to take her teasing. 
“I can attest that Y/n is pretty cuddly. I don’t know how you detach her to train sometimes,” Pino shrugged and your eyebrows furrowed. Did Pino think you were too clingy too? Did she think you were holding your mom’s back? If they couldn’t train, they couldn’t be the best. They wouldn’t want you anymore if you were hindering them. 
You twisted slightly uncomfortable, pulling away from Christen’s comforting embrace. 
“I’m gonna go back to bed,” You mumbled, tucking your Batman blanket tighter around you. 
“You sure babe?” Christen asked, brushing a strand of hair away from your eyes. 
“Hmm,” You hummed, shuffling off to go and cuddle Roary. Hopefully, he could keep your nightmares away (not missing Tobin’s “Nice going, Kling,”).

You woke with a start, sitting bolt upright and clutching your blanket tightly to your chest. You gulped down the bile that rose in your throat. You ran your hand across your forehead, pushing the sweaty strands of hair from your clammy skin. 
You blinked at the red number of the clock, the little 2 mocking you. It was the 4th time this week. Every part of you longed to go find the comfort your Mom and Mama always offered when you had a nightmare. But you couldn’t bring yourself to disturb them. Kling was right, how the hell were they supposed to play well with you bothering them every time you had a little scary dream. You were 14, not 4. 
You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose and smoothing your thumb over both of your closed eyes in an effort to chase away the images that plagued your sleep. You were never going to get back to sleep now. 
You leaned over and grabbed your trusty drawing pad, before quietly tiptoeing out of the room, and down the hall. You paused as you passed the slightly ajar door to your moms’ room. They never complained about your frequent visits to their bed or pushed you to tell them which ghost from your past had made you end up there. 
You shook your head, taking a second to convince yourself that not going to them was going to benefit you in the end. If you stopped bothering them, being so clingy, they wouldn’t get tired of you. They wouldn’t get rid of you. 
You continued down the hallway, bypassing the kitchen in favor of turning into the living room. You stared out the bay windows, wishing for a minute that you were back in Portland. That you had the balcony to stand on and collect your racing thoughts, and the cool night air to ground you back in reality. Alas, you were here in the UK instead. 
You sighed again, curling up on the little window seat, staring listlessly at the drizzly night sky, and flipping mindlessly through the pages of your sketchbook. 
You settled on a blank page, mindlessly tapping your pencil on the paper. Your thoughts wandered, taking in the skyline as though it would tell you what to draw, how to set your mind at ease. The movement of your reflection in the window caught your attention, and suddenly you knew exactly what to draw. How to get your brain to stop obsessing over them leaving you.

Tobin sighed as she entered the living room. It was the 5th time this week she had walked into the same sight of you slumped against the living room window, your pencil paused over your coveted sketchbook, which was balanced precariously on your knee. 
“She’s out here Chris,” Tobin called quietly down the hallway. How they had gone to waking up with you almost always cuddled between them (or on the foot of their bed) to you virtually pulling away entirely they weren’t sure. It hurt to see the brick wall around your heart rebuilding itself in front of their eyes. 
Christen padded up next to her, wrapping her arms around Tobin's waist and resting her head on her shoulder. “Again?” She asked, the sadness evident in her tone. They thought they had gotten over the hurdle of convincing you to come to them for help, plus she was starting to miss her cuddle buddy. 
“Hm, we need to get to the bottom of this,” Tobin mumbled, leaning back into her wife. It wasn’t healthy for you to be awake all night, even if you were processing your emotions through art, if for you to be pushing them away. They tried not to push you too hard, tried to let you come to them, but you clearly weren’t. They were going to need to intervene soon. 
“I’ll make the coffee, if you want to wake little miss up,” Christen murmured into her neck, placing a soft kiss before heading off towards the kitchen. 
You may have been her cuddle buddy, but you always had an easier time opening up to Tobin. Her chill demeanor set you at ease. 
Tobin nodded making her way over to you, making a mental note to put an extra blanket on the window seat in case this was going to continue. 
She crouched in front of you, carefully maneuvering the dangling sketchbook out of your hand, barely glancing at the still open page as she set it on the coffee table, and placing a gentle hand on your knee. 
“Hey kiddo, it’s time to wake up,” she said softly, rubbing your leg to rouse you. 
“Hm, what time is it,” You asked, pushing your forehead against the cool glass and blinking sleepily at the woman. 
“Just after 8. What time did you come out here?” She questioned softly. 
You shrugged, yawning loudly. “Like 1:30. I couldn’t go back to sleep after my dream so I decided to come out here for a bit,” You lazily gestured towards your sketchbook “thought I could work through it and I guess I fell asleep,” 
“Why didn’t you wake Me or Mom up, we would have hung out with you until you could get back to sleep,”  The woman pressed, cupping your face and running her thumb over your cheek, brushing the dark circles that had grown more prominent under your eyes. You leaned into her touch, allowing it to ease your fears for the moment. 
“Didn’t wanna bother you. Your both starting today,” you said. 
Tobin squinted at you, her head tilting to the side. You were more important to them than any starting position, they thought you knew that. It was a piece to the puss me that was this change in your behavior, but she couldn’t seem to put her finger on the rest. She couldn’t quite see how it fit. 
“You could never be a bother to us babe, we love you and want to help you. And you’re our priority, never worry about soccer when it comes to stuff like this. If one of us has to sit out, it’s no biggie,” She said, looking you in the eye, repeating the words that had become their mantra to you. 
You hummed noncommittally, abruptly pulling yourself out of her grasp, looking away from her piercing gaze. That was too close, and you didn’t want her to make a promise you knew she wouldn’t keep. It would hurt less later if you didn’t believe her. 
“Is mom making pancakes?”

Christen was worried. Very worried. She hadn’t meant to go snooping, but the sketch on the page of your open notebook had caught her attention, and once she started she couldn’t stop. 
It was a striking image. The drawing of the view from their apartment was nice, but what really caught her eye was the reflection of you in the glass. There was something about your expression that tore at her very soul. 
You drew what you felt, and if you had this much disparity, then something was very wrong. 
“Have you seen this,” She asked her wife breathlessly. Tobin glanced at the page, nodding once. It had been the same sketch 4 days in a row, the only thing that changes were the expression. The eyes growing emptier, the shadows getting bigger. She bit her lip. 
“We have to let her come to us, babe. All we can do is try to be there for her,” 
And try to be there for you they had. They increased their touches (trying not to feel hurt when you pulled away), Tobin scheduled extra time for the two of you to work on the capsule together. Hell, Christen even started leaving hot chocolate in the window seat for you. But nothing seemed to be working. You were slowly slipping away and neither of them knew why. 
Christen sighed, glancing back at the sketch, so beautifully haunting. “I just want her to let me help,”
“She will, you just have to let her sort through whatever it is first,”

Your moms were on their feet mere seconds after your first shriek, racing across the hall and into your room, searching for the threat. They released a breath they didn’t know they were holding when they saw you alone in your bed until another strangled cry left your lips. 
“No, I’ll be good, please don’t leave,”
That was all it took for them to jump into action, Tobin flipping on your bedside light, and Christen crawling into bed beside you. 
“Hey baby, wake up, it’s just a bad dream,” your mom said, wrapping you up in her arms and rubbing your back to rouse you from sleep. 
“Mom?” You asked disoriented, trying to fight the gentle hands keeping you from accidentally hurting yourself. 
“Shh, I’m here, you’re ok,” Christen said, pulling you into her lap. You buried your face in her neck, gripping her nightshirt so tightly the cotton was straining in your grasp. 
You sobbed into her neck, your tears making the skin sticky. “Don’t leave me please,” You begged, the words garbled by tears and your adamant refusal to pull away from your favorite hiding spot. Christen shushed you, rubbing your back with one hand and cradling your head with the other, sharing a worried glance with Tobin over your head. The other woman stood next to your bed, her hands opening and closing, shifting foot to foot unsure how to help you. 
“Never baby. We’re not going anywhere,” Christen soothed, gesturing for Tobin to take your other side. She did, hugging you from behind to let you know that she was there too. 
They held you as you cried, whispering sweet nothings over your unintelligible whimpering. 
“I’m sorry I’m too clingy. That you can’t practice as much as you used too,”
“No baby, we don’t feel that way at all. We love you, and we want to be here for you,”
“But Kling and Pino-“ You protested, only to be cut off by Tobin solemnly shaking her head. “Were joking, they didn’t mean anything by it. They’re both glad that you are opening up to them,” 
You stared at her in disbelief (and Tobin made a mental note to murder her friends for being assholes. They needed to learn that even though you felt comfortable, your fears and insecurities were not something to be picked on, even with the best intentions). 
“And so are we. We’re glad and honored that you’ve opened up to us, and let us see your goofy side, and your amazing art,” She added, brushing a wild curl from in front of your eyes. 
“Really?”
“Absolutely. We love how cuddly you are- it makes up for the 13 years we didn’t get with you,” Christen said, squeezing you tighter just to prove her point. It had taken you a long time to let them in, and though it was still a work in progress, they were honored you trusted them. That you had let them in further than anyone before. 
“Will you stay?” You asked in a small voice, almost afraid of the answer. 
“Always,” Your moms answered together. Tobin pulled back the covers, allowing Christen to maneuver the two of you inside before joining you. You sighed, reveling in their safety. Here, wedged between the women, you knew you would always have a place.
