We’re ready for you! OPENING TODAY!!! July 10, 2020,  6-9pm, 5 Points Art Gallery & Studios second annual, critically acclaimed, This Is America group visual art exhibition. This Is America is a consciously curated group exhibition meant to, both, corroborate and challenge the notion of Americanism, citizenship and belonging, racial representation, historical and cultural influence, religious freedom, national and global amnesty, and pride and prejudice in iconography associated with the red, white and blue, stars and stripes by artists with traditionally overlooked vantages. With a breadth of work reflecting upon current and historical concepts and lived experiences, viewers are posed to find commonality or grapple with divergent perspectives tied to their nationalistic, political, and racial identities. Exhibiting Artists: Akira Mabon, Ammar Nsoroma, Allison Westbrook IV , Bennie C. Higgins, Chrystal Gillion-Mabry, Darrel M. Payne, Dave McClinton, Della Wells, Erik Salgado, Fatima Laster, Gannon Crutcher, Kiki Jia Qi Zhen, Komikka Patton, Liliet Rosa Reyes, Maria Alfaro, Nirmal Raja, Sharon Kerry-Harlan, Sonji Hunt, and William Darnell Rogers.
