Alrighty: 5k challenge week 2 day 1 in the books 🏃🏻‍♀️ I did my second community event today which was a music festival in the park and I got to play with a bunch of different dogs and boost my new member numbers.

I went from 210.6 at the beginning of the month to 206.2 this morning. I’ve been doing good about not running out for lunch when at work and not doing starbucks. I’ve been doing my greens and keeping my water intake up.

My walks from Tues- Thurs. Thursday I walked twice cause I got Khloe out of the house and active cause she had been sitting inside with Luna pretty much all day. Then Friday I completed my 5k challenge run for my Strava app. Horrible time but I wasn't pushing myself too hard either cause it was hot. I didn't run the whole time but I did keep a good pace. My knees were screaming at me by the end and my feet hurt bad too. Just more motivation for losing this extra poundage that I had gained over the last two year. Yesterday for the second consecutive year, I participated in the JP Morgan 5K Corporate Challenge right in the backyard of my office at Central Park. It was a great day for running and I am so proud of all of my colleagues and staffers who ran alongside of me, as well as those who helped facilitate all of the logistics that made the event successful. While I finished the race in a comfortable 34 minutes and 33 seconds, my main goal was to beat my trusty press officer Mario López who I secretly challenged earlier in the year. Sadly, I did not beat his time as he finished the race in 31 minutes and 38 seconds. But luckily, he’s still my guy and I’ll let him keep his job. Until the next one!
