ok im still thinking about this like. there are some scenes where it makes sense that there's no strap option (nat pool table scene in twc b3, in the back of vicky's car in blood moon, etc. i'll even forgive the farah sex scene in twc b3 since the detective didn't bring everything with them to the warehouse and maybe it got left behind, because i'm very charitable). you're not in a private place or somewhere you expected to have sex. i can understand and forgive this. but in my own home???? or the li's bedroom???? why can't i even offer to go get my strap when bringing morgan home in twc b2 or when we're straight up having sex in my bedroom where all my stuff is in blood moon? why can we go find the time to find a condom when we're with minjo in thicker than (and vampires in tt lore can't have children or contract any illnesses, so for mcs who haven't been sleeping with humans in the 5 year timeskip and need condoms for appearances then why do you even have these readily available?) but we can't get up to grab our harness when we're in our own home? strapphobia is real and is used against me because i am hated personally
