All right, friends, 217 costumes down and we have made it to our final two.

Amaya Jiwe, 1700s, The Curse of the Earth Totem

She took down cowgirl Sara Lance. That is the highest endorsement I can give her.

Zari Tomaz, 1960s, The Virgin Gary

And Zari? Took down the other Zari, who is famously the more fashionable of the two.

The winner will be the subject of my next Legends fashion tournament. I already have Amaya ready to go and I'm working on compiling Zari's season 4 outfits this week.

Also wasn't Gary a virgin as we learned in 4x01? Idk if the writers had that idea at the time or if it was the fandom, I wasn't in the fandom back then, but i'm glad it wasn't the case. I love your legends re-watch and comments, keep them coming ❤️

Raiders of the Lost Art (2x09). Fantastic. George Lucas is there, you know, the creator of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The fact that he didn't create it (and Star Wars), is the main pit. The Lost Art. It's so clever.

Fellowship of the Spear (2x15). Same thing really. JRR Tolkien is there. Also, there's eight Legends.Tolkien + Legends = Frodo + Fellowship. We love it.

Daddy Darhkest (3x10). Absolutely no notes.

Here I Go Again (3x11). I should hate it bc it makes the fucking song be stuck in my brain all the time. But I don't. Because not only does Zari say that exact phrase but she does, in fact, go again. (And again.)

Guest Starring John Noble (3x17). It is, in fact, guest starring John Noble. As John Noble.

The Good, The Bad, The Cuddly (3x18). They're in the Wild West, so quoting a Western movie's title is spot on. And Beebo is cuddly.

The Virgin Gary (4x01). Oh, I love religious puns. A large part of the plot also revolves around Gary being a virgin. Perfect.

Hell No, Dolly! (4x07). Not only is there a doll posessed by a soul from hell, but this also remarks the return of the beloved Professor Stein puppet. Victor Garber (Stein's actor) left the show to star in the musical Hello, Dolly.

Legends of To-Meow-Meow (4x08). Again, no notes.

Mortal Khanbat (5x05). They're fighting. Against Genghis Khan.

Romeo v Juliet: Dawn of Justness (5x07). A PUN!!!!!!! BASED ON THE DCEU!!!!!! How could I not eat this up!!!!!

Zari, Not Zari (5x08). I'll admit, it took me so long to get it. Because in my brain Zari is NOT pronounced like Sorry in any way. But once I understood it, I loved it.

I am Legends (5x12). There's zombies, they're the Legends. Can I make it any more obvious?

Swan Thong (5x14). Not only is the phrase "Swan Song" a reference to Greek Mythology in itself, which fits since they're battling Greek Goddesses, but also. Thong. Because The Thong Song is important in this ep. Also, this is the season finale of Legends season 5. You know what was called "Swan Song"? The season finale of Supernatural season 5. This can't be a coincidence.

Deus ex Latrina (7x06). A toilet explodes out of nowhere. Literally Deus ex Latrina.

Here we are: the final four. 20th century Zari matchup

Zari Tarazi in A Woman's Place Is in the War Effort!

I had pretty much counted Z2 out as of a few days ago, and then she clawed her way to victory over 1920s Sara to take her rightful place as one of the 4 most historically fashionable Legends.

She's not usually an underdog, but she started the tournament with fewer costumes than any of the other finalists but made a solid showing throughout. So here's Queen Z in her adorable Rosie the Riveter outfit, ready to take on some tough competition.

Because who could possibly out-cute this cutie but someone who is also, empirically speaking, very hot?

She is literally the cutest. The other finalists came ready for battle, but Z1 has peace and loved her way through the later decades of the competition fairly quietly. And then she shocked everyone by defeating THE punk Legend with a considerable margin. We all love a good 1970s Legend, but apparently we all love a good 1960s Legend just as much.

With her flower crown and her cute facepaint and her unicorn musk contact high, hippie Zari is ready to rock.

Tonight I couldn’t sleep and I started imagining Ava’s reaction when Gary showed up one nipple down and showing it to everyone like:

Gary: oh you know, I just fought against a evil magic unicorn and survived y’know, just took off one of mi nipples

Ava: evil magic unicorn?

Gary:.... ah fine, when the legends released Mallus from his cage they also let out many other things and they don’t know when they’ll show up

Ava *in her mind*: god Sara is stupid, so reckless, why would she do something so stupid? Did she knew the consequences? Probably. God, I love how stupid she is, she’s always so reckless and cool, always taking risks and chances for her team, that’s amazing, I love her, I’m gonna make her some chicken for dinner, some freaking good chicken, she deserves it
