The activist group Know Collective has produced an alternative Super Bowl advertisement showing the death and destruction that has occurred as a result of Israel’s war on Gaza.

The video was produced in response to the Israeli government buying a primetime slot at the US Super Bowl on Sunday to highlight the plight of captives being held in Gaza.

“To all the dads that have been killed by the [Israeli military] for over 120 days, we vow to bring you justice,” the Know Collective advertisement says.

it was once observed by a dear friend that the hours in which i am most alert are like 7pm to 2am which probably explains a lot about how my posts get worse throughout the evening. but also sometimes i look at today where i was just sort of gnawing the couch all day until about 5pm when i wrote an entire fic in two hours and then another entire post about kaapo which to be clear took another two hours bc i had to chase links and explain my passions in a kind way and this was in addition to a church meeting. i would excel as the person who lights and then extinguishes lamps in the night

49ers Bounce Back with Dominant Victory Over Patriots

The San Francisco 49ers are back! After several tough losses, they bounced back with a 30-13 victory over the New England Patriots. It was a complete team effort, with the offense, defense, and special teams contributing to the win.

The 49ers offense was firing on all cylinders, racking up 431 yards of total offense. Brock Purdy looked sharp, throwing for 288 yards and a touchdown to George Kittle. Jordan Mason also had a strong game, rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown.

The defense was equally impressive, forcing three turnovers and sacking the Patriots' quarterback six times. Fred Warner was a standout, returning an interception 45 yards for a touchdown. He's making a strong case for Defensive Player of the Year.

Unfortunately, Warner suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter and could not play in the second half. However, he was on the sidelines cheering on his teammates and didn't appear to be in too much pain.

Overall, it was a great win for the 49ers. They're now 2-2 on the season and looking to build on this momentum,. With a strong defense and a talented offense, they're a team to watch in the NFC, per usual.

I want to spend a year watching a lot of sports. I'm not entirely sure why, but I'd like to understand and loosely follow as much of the major sports as I can. Can I get opinions on teams I should follow/cheer for? And info on players, where to get news, or where to watch stuff for free or cheap, etc?

I might post a bunch of polls to get feedback on teams and stuff, idk. Ive really loosely followed the Red Sox for years, so I'm not looking for baseball, but hockey, football, soccer - anything about other sports.
