Her 🩵 A headcanon of gear-less look and ninpo presentation. I think she’s a false map turtle, so I gave her a scalloped shell, also to represent Raph. Their shell’s are also a lil’ spiky but in a flexible way. Her plastron is a little bit of a mix but mostly Leo and Raph inspired. I added little line marks just for my own interpretation and to add a little more umph. I think she’s real pretty.

Day 29. 2022. Rise of the TMNT temporarily came back as a full length feature film on Netflix which was absolutely amazing to the surprise of nobody. The beginning even tells us the future is post-apocalyptic because of an invasion caused by the most scariest version of the Krang/Utroms yet. Deleted scenes & concept art showed us a lot of familiar faces affected by this invasion including our little Stockboy or. Man now. Who is in something I truly love. Instead of making him a cyborg or mutating him, they combined BOTH his fates. By giving him mech that's fly based! Seriously WHY HAS NO OTHER ITERATION THOUGHT OF DOING THAT!?!?! It actually reminds me of the fanart I saw made by Bryce Damuth years ago. As I kid I thought it was a cool concept & now I STILL love that idea & Rise even more for choosing that route for him. All the more reason why I wish this series continued it was just so beautiful with all its decision making especially this one!

The turtles are so lame for being a bunch of grown ass wrinkly old men going around a fighting crime exactly like they used to. Just showing up in the streets with silly phrases. /aff. It’s not teen shenanigans anymore. Donnie probably pays taxes.

Day 24. 2018. TMNT had yet another animated series in 2018. The amazing & underappreciated Rise of the TMNT. It did a lot of things different than previous iterations most of which caused people to cry like little bitches (cept me) but still interesting major changes nonetheless. One of them being their version of Baxter Stockma- er Boy. Who is definitely up there as one of my top 5 favorite versions of him period for a list of reasons. He's not just a science creator but a content one kinda creative, he's funny & his goal is understandable, he's adorable as shit & he's just genuinely fun to watch. It's also been a while since we've had straight up child villains or boy geniuses for that matter & it would have been amazing to see more of him & rise in general but I still enjoyed his short time regardless.

Begging and PLEADING every single fan of rise to go out and buy the 40th anniversary comic (and not just for the rise comic portion). Each story was an incredible look at every iteration of the turtles.

Stories from Mirage, 1987, 2003, IDW, 2012, and Rise were all there and all fantastic (Even if you aren’t a big fan of the other iterations). The more sales, the more attention rise will get.
