Okay, at this point, for some reason, my brain is really focused on Den giving Tyme the research, after saying "sometimes we can have a chance to resolve lingering feelings"?
But like. Great and Tyme are linked, yes?
Because of course they are, but also because Great's rewrite is all about a better love story with Tyme, and because Tyme's getting shot stopped Great's heart, and because Great 's rewrite starts when Tyme's heart stops. So I think at least some of the rewrite has to be what they both want -- the "can you forgive me" is proof of that. So of course Great's rewrite has a co-author, because there are details that are in the rewrite that only Tyme has.
So obviously they're both wishing for a better, softer, kinder start to their love story.
But now, Tyme has a choice to make, to put the diary back and go back to before he started his revenge plot, before he sent Nan down the path that killed her, before he found Great again, before he used Great for revenge.
( @hotasfahrenheit called this before 7 aired, but I hadn't thought too much about it because I somehow blanked out the part where the opening scene is literally them both dying 🤦🏼‍♀️ I think the fact I was waiting for a POV shift to Tyme's version of the rewrite kept me from thinking about other options, even though all the evidence is there!)
BUT
If somehow the timeline resets, then all that growing and wanting to be better that Great did is gone. All the actually wanting connection and working to be with someone and fighting for something he believes in that Tyme did is gone. All the parts where they were sweet to each other, where they wished for each other are gone.
And what happens to Tonkla and Dome and Win and Title. What happens to Korn, if he doesn't have his parents image destroyed, if he doesn't lose Tonkla, if he has to deal with his decision killing Nan. What happens to the attempted justice and the disillusionment and the consequences that happened for them?
What about Manee and her revenge?
Also, does it even make sense for either of them to come out of this alive?
Does anyone get justice if they don't do the things that contributed to Great's parents downfall (not that there's a lot of it to go around, but still)? Does anyone get to be a better person?
Ugh!
This showwww. 😭

Hear me out, Tyme is the reason Great experiences the 4 minute phenomenon because because
Tumblr media
Is the exact same that is written on the paper cup ->
Tumblr media
Doctor Den tells us that hearing is the last thing to go when you die. Great must have heard Tyme's apology, altering the way his brain processes the last few days (weeks?)
So, I think, Tyme's regret and sort of apology are either what causes Great to experience the 4 minute phenomenon OR he's already experiencing it and the apology stuck, which is why he 'chooses' to grow closer and closer to Tyme.

Random Thoughts about 4Minutes (EP 7):
I don't have much to say about this episode. We saw how Tonkla's past with his drunken dad (isn't it the same actor who played JJ's character drunken dad too in DFF?!). I guess in BOC when you have an alcoholic father, you always end up killing someone. We understand quite rightly why he doesn't trust the police. Justice was never served when it comes to Tonkla's life and it must be ironic that the one who killed his dear brother was the brother of his lover. I feel so bad for him. How can you not lost it when this type of thing happen to you?!
We also saw how Win found the evidence about Title and tried to give it to Tonkla, but he couldn't. He tries so hard to help Tonkla to show him that there is some justice, but in the end, it doesn't quite work the way he wants. I guess he is really involved with Tonkla, but as for Tonkla, I'm not really sure. Can you give time for love when you've been disappointed for such a long time by everything and everyone? They have such a different view of justice and there are only two choices possibles: either Win decide to defend Tonkla's action until the end, or they're going to drift apart.
This time we also discovered how connected Tyme and Great were from early on. It was fun to see the young actor who played San in Century of Love, playing Great this time. Will they only use this child to play any young version of BL actors from now on?! It would be funny. That was the only funny part of the episode for that matter because the rest of it was quite sad. Tyme feels awful for saying bad things to Great, but he wasn't entirely wrong. I guess, he couldn't really get detached from what he experienced with Great.
Now, they are both on the brick of death and I suppose the last episode will make us see how Tyme would have altered the timeline if he got the chance to change few things. I don't think any of them will make it through… at least in this life. Either they will met again in the afterlife, or maybe get reborn. I think the first option has more chance to happen. They will be free from the chains of what was their life. Can we love or learn to love in the afterlife? Can we even meet others? I guess we'll get the answer in the last episode.
I feel so drained after this one. It's such a poignant story. It always makes me think too much. I like how surprising it always feels for me because I have so much trouble trying to imagine what is going to happen. It's very interesting.

Why do you think Dome was recording Title's fight with his girlfriend in the first place? And after all we know now, what happened to the girl, did anyone look into into? What about her friend who was questioned by the police? So many questions...
Hmm, I don't know if this is me giving too much credit to something Sammon used as a device to advance the plot, but Dome's action speaks volumes about his upbringing to me.
Dome grew up in an abusive household. He has surely witnessed acts on violence enacted on his mother, for whom we don't know anything about, and on his brother, proof being Tonkla's face during the first flashback with the cat burial. Even the cat being killed by his father (presumably) is an act of violence, a horrid one at that.
(He may have also been a victim of such violence himself. It's surely not out of the question.)
This kind of environment shapes you. It changes your perspective and it makes you stay alert throughout all your life. Dome probably knows what it's like to be abused and being unable to do anything about it, so when he saw Title abusing his girlfriend, he needed the proof to help her.
It could have been something he's done before as well to protect himself and his brother from their father, or something he thought of doing after doing research etc. Either way, it makes complete sense to me.
Unfortunately, since Great didn't actually help Title's girlfriend, we have no idea what happened to her. For all we know she's still stuck in Title's house.
We do have many questions still, and I hope the next 2 episodes will be able to help us understand the plot more.

So I watched the first episodes or so of Adventure Time. Is there I guess....a um...breathrough episode that makes you like fall in love with it?
I just looked through them and not going to lie the first season is definitely not my favorite. The first season is where you meet a lot of the characters and see the universe. They are mainly super random and silly.
The first episode of season 2 is pretty good you get to learn more about Marceline and her dad.
S3 Ep9 - first fionna and cake episode (again not my favorite episodes but they are important to know who they are if you want to watch fionna and cake (the series) in the future)
S3 E26 - you get to meet flame princess for the first time 🥰🫶🫶🫶🫶
S4 E26 - The Lich - this is where the story part comes in and it gets GOOOOOOD. There are a few episodes before this that have some story I think but it’s very light if I remember right. This is where things kinda turn in adventure time in my opinion
S5 Ep1 - you get to meet Prismo!!! More story! Good shit
#ok ok ok#so I think if you want to get hooked on adventure time I would start watching from season 4 episode 26#I know I know it sounds like a big jump but like I said I think the first few seasons are mainly just introducing the characters#kinda seeing where everyone lives and their personalities#there are some story episodes in the earlier seasons but I don’t think anything important#it’s one of those shows where usually you can just watch and instantly know what’s going on#you don’t have to watch them in order buuut once you get to the story part it’s better to watch in order just in case#it’s hard to explain cause most of them are Willy nilly and silly but after the end of season 4 you have more chance to get to story#and THEN season 7 is where you get to go into the depths of the characters and their backstories#all of the episodes are 10ish minutes but then season 7 and beyond have multiple parts to some of them#so like the first one is all about Marceline and it has 8 parts#I think that’s all I wanted to say????#but I definitely understand not falling in love with it right away#it was just a thrown on show for awhile until I got to the story story and I was like OH?????? OK I SEE YOU#feel like I wanted to say more but here you gooooo#I think if you wanted to start S4 E26 and get into the story and then if you fall in love with it you can always go back#and watch the beginning seasons#but I definitely don’t think you need to watch the first few seasons to understand what’s going on later#and if you watch the end of season 4 and the beginning of season 5 and it’s still not your jam that’s alright!#I’m sure it’s not for everyone#ask

My wifi at home has been so bad I’m genuinely considering booking a room in the library tomorrow to watch the episode. Could potentially go a bit early and get some work done. Could even connect my latop and watch it on the big screen...

@ashedddaisy so I know you’ve been searching everywhere for possible contestants of “instrumentals in the backgrounds of Soundwin scenes that might be part of sound’s song for win”, and I’m rewatching episode 7 right now and I don’t recognise the track behind the part where they find out they have to play the conjoined twins? From what I can tell it doesn’t match any songs we currently have so… that could be it.
