Nah i think it’s so funny how Joe and Dacre’s chemistry was so strong that they had to scrap their plotline and never make them interact again 😭😭. How the times have changed; back in the teen wolf and sherlock days, if they had acted together in one of those shows, the writers would have queerbaited the fuck out of them

Crying. So this was his imagination. And not my "I'm not devastated by SandRay fight because we know they hugged later on". Now I am devastated.

Like I know things will be fine (well I know nothing, but SandRay is endgame. Thank you.) but a lot of bad things were said by Ray to Sand. And yeah he did get everything wrong but the conclusion he came to destroyed him and his trust in Sand at that time. And Sand didn't correct him, didn't tell him what truly happened between him and Ray's dad because Ray's words cut him deeply.

They both need to cradle each other hearts and just be gentle with them. Please boys, just heal. Stop hurting each other (especially Ray. Good lord man, go grovel and pamper him - I kind of think he also deserves an apology from Sand for not being clear with him. But gods did he hurt him with his accusations.)

And gods I want Ray to be happier. Healthier. I want him to cradle his own heart as well and cherish it. Do better. Heal.

His apology monologue. I don't know. Just. It was raw. This is what we wanted from Ray. Being self-aware. Understanding that he keeps hurting Sand. And it's good. It's important. But you also feel for him. "No one can put up with me.". Him basically saying that his source of happiness can never speak to him again because he fucked up so much. Him breaking apart because he may have lost Sand forever. And it may be killing him inside but he is finally mature enough to step back. And yet. And yet he is begging this imaginary Sand for one more chance. To see him. To forgive.

We went from Ray shouting at Sand that he makes his life hell, to Ray thanking imaginary Sand for being there for him (making his life better). Now I hope that real Sand will hear those words, and many more, too.

"Ever since you walked into my life, I've been so happy." this line. It's so sweet yet heartbreaking. It's going to be SandRay line from now on, I think.

(I bet this was also one of the scenes in which they had to scream at First not to cry. He was struggling. Also he was probably playing that Lady reacting to Ray's pain and hug, empathy to a stranger. He had to act as if he doesn't have history with Khao's character - nor Khao himself. I dare to think that it's easier to see your best friend acting out crying scene when your characters know each other than when they don't and you have to be a little bit detached instead of letting your own real feelings mix with the character you are portraying. Kudos to him as well.)

This is random, but have you noticed how Kreese uses different styles of speaking with different people? With Johnny, Robby, and Tory he's very relaxed and genuine. With Terry he's a little lecturing and authoritative. With other characters he's fake nice. And with Daniel he's... flirty??? I don't know how else to describe it lol. The cadence. Every single time! He smirks and pauses before finishing a sentence all slithery like a snake. He called Daniel Danny-boy too and idk how to feel about that

I didn't at first but after rewatching the show and focusing more on his character I do see it. I disagree with how he acts with Johnny though.

It's interesting because the show and the fandom often thinks of Terry as the manipulative one (rightfully so) when John's entire character is based on manipulation.

I would argue Terry is manipulative in a different way. His motivations are more obvious. More black and white.

Rewatching s2 it alarmed me just how textbook his emotional manipulation of Johnny was. Just how effective it was. It reminded me of DARVO tbh.

Kreese does this interesting thing with both Terry and Johnny where he brings up "the good times" specifically when they're rightfully upset.

Tory and Robby are interesting. He doesn't put on a false "helpless old man" front like he does with Johnny. He's straight forward. He's helpful but he's pragmatic. He doesn't lie to them, but he doesn't tell them all of the truth either. He views them as competent individuals but he reminds them of their weakness. They're fair game, in a way.

With Terry it's some sort of power play. His ego is always being fed. He's kind to Terry as long as Terry doesn't get too confident in himself. Then it's time to pull rank.

I think he might do that out of fear. As if he thinks Terry will leave him if he no longer sees Kreese as he used to. The most important person in the world.

He's saying "you can't ever leave me" and convincing himself it's a statement rather than a question.

And with Daniel, it really is ... Something.

Kreese's preoccupation with Daniel has always been different than his with Johnny or Terry. Daniel stands as something that Kreese is against. But he still respects him in a way. At the same time he's always belittling him. As if to make Daniel feel younger or smaller.

And I think that's why it comes across as flirty. It's almost like he's negging Daniel.

John "but I like that" Kreese wants to put Daniel in his place but he wants to have fun while doing so.

He's the only person in canon other than Terry to call Daniel "Danny." And he HAD to get that knowledge from Terry. He had to know it would specifically push Daniel's buttons.

And he enjoys seeing Daniel riled up. It's almost like that one asshole who harasses girls because "you're cute when you're mad."

Dominance is John's thing. Imagine if you can't intimidate someone out of fear, trying to do so sexually. 🤔

The extremely flirty and creepy way he acts towards Amanda is to be noted. It's similar to how he acts towards Daniel but more obvious. And I think ultimately this all ties in to how Daniel's enemies have always tried to feminize him in an attempt to belittle him.

Once again Daniel occupies a spot often taken up by a female character. The young hero vs the creepy and intimidating, yet still alluring villain.

Was watching an edit of this scene today and the way Mike is saying "Friends... best friends" makes me wanna scream.

My boy is so nervous "I have no idea what's gonna happen next..." *proceeds to look away* *gulps* *stutters*. The way he puts emphasis on each word, pausing between "team" ... "friends" ... "best friends" ... - this little pause after "best friends", like he wants to continue because them being best friends is still NOT ENOUGH? He seems to wait for Will to read between the lines so bad, like he is testing how far he can go.

And Will? He seems so reassured, yet heartbroken about being pushed into the best friends category again. The tears in his eyes? This scene seems like a turning point - in which Mike tries to make a step towards Will, to test the waters. But I'm not sure if Will gets that - it almost seems as if he is manifesting his longing from afar even more. He doesn't get how desperate Mike wants him close.

How are they both so blind I can't do this anymore ok?!?! I need them to slowly realise their feelings for each other and confess SO BADLY!

Honestly kind of offended Sleepers is always so slept on when ppl discuss disturbing films. Like granted it falls flat on its face on the later half (at least it did for me which is why i never finished it, i was bored and confused) but the first half had me and my whole family just crying. It's really fucking depressing and graphic too. Deserves more credit 👎
