UNDERTALE ASK BLOG - PRESENTATION (2024 UPDATE)

Hello! I’m Myfanwi, 27 years old and adoptive parent of two chinchillas, Thor and Mjöllnir. I have ADHD and I'm currently struggling to have my autism diagnosis.

I’m a French writer (she/they, I don’t care), so my English might be weird sometimes, but I’ll do my best. I’m currently looking for a job in France, and failing it a lot.

I started this blog on February 3rd 2021, and we're still here and active. I'm taking Undertale (canon and AU) headcanon requests from people and answering them with my characters.

The askbox is always open so don't hesitate to participate!

1 - You can ask whatever you want, except heavy sexual things. If I'm not comfortable with an ask, I will say it. You can send as many asks as you want. The askbox is always open, I don't close it.

2 - I’m ok with angst and touchy subjects. I’m also very very LGBT+ friendly (I’m aroace and enby btw).

3 - I don’t do match-ups except during some rare events. I don't do RP interactions (= answering people asking things to the characters directly), only headcanons (= writing things ABOUT the characters).

Love WILL Win

This is in honor of my first love, Patrick.

My biological father was a violently abusive white supremacist from a family of multiple generations of whole-ass Nazis. And I don't mean "Oh that American white supremacist should be called a Nazi."

I mean fucking Nazis.

Actual former members of the Bund, Brown Shirts, and SS.

I had relatives from that side of the family go back to Germany to enlist with the Nazi Party and SS during World War II. One of my great-great-uncles was a fucking SS officer. When I was 7, my biological father took me out to his garage/workshop and showed me his shrine of SS "memorabilia" that he'd collected from our relatives to "teach me what really mattered in this world".

This shrine of his included an officer's saber that still had blood on it from mutilating Jewish victims of the Holocaust before they were taken to concentration camps. My biological father was very proud of how well he'd preserved the dried blood on the edge. The blood of Jews taken to the gas chambers and slaughtered en masse. "That makes it more valuable," he told me as he made me hold it.

Some of my now-thank-fucking-god-deceased relatives are in surviving photos and videos of Kristallnacht, dragging Jewish families from their homes and businesses. Some participated in the enforcement of the ghettos that were established before the concentration camps were up and running.

All of it started with a loser with a decent PR campaign taking advantage of an economic crisis. We cannot afford to stay in denial anymore about the concept that this isn't happening today, here in America, in 2025.

But... Here's the thing:

Their line of hate and bigotry ended with me, and it was because of love.

I didn't know my biological father was a Nazi until I was a preteen. I knew he was hateful. I knew he was violent. I knew he was cruel.

My mom had no idea until she was already pregnant with me (her first child by that marriage), and my biological father abused and gaslit her into staying with him for almost 10 years before she finally walked away.

Before then, I was just a weird kid with undiagnosed Dissociative Identity Disorder, and didn't even know I was queer or a trans enby kid that hadn't had their egg crack yet.

When I was in 3rd grade (around age 8), I was mostly in an all-white elementary school class, save for one boy that sat across the room from me named Patrick.

Patrick was black.

I eventually started to play with Patrick and his friends during recess and break times at school. Our school had a very big playground that wasn't fully fenced in. We had a lot of fun together in our little group of grubby 8-10 year old kids. We played kickball, tag, and even challenged each other to dramatic sword fights with twigs (this was, of course, before 9/11). One of my first indicators to myself that I was probably trans to some degree was how much fun I had playing with mostly boys, and just didn't feel comfortable in my own skin trying to fit in with girls the same age.

One day, our friends decided to play King of the Hill. There was a relatively steep hill in the playground of our school with a big old Douglas fir tree on top and lots of rocky, almost sandy earth eroding underneath it, and we decided it would be fun to try to race each other to the top. The first one to touch the tree won.

I was the only one that grew up in forests and woodlands (mostly to get the hell away from my abusive biological father), and so I was able to rocket up the hill and reach the tree before my friends were even halfway up.

Then, like our teachers had warned us it would, the dirt gave out from beneath my foot and I started to fall backward.

The hill was steep. There were rocks. If I landed on them at full force and hit my head or spine, I was done. I felt myself falling. I knew I was in for a really bad time.

But someone warm and soft caught me, and we both tumbled to the dirt and rocks together. The person behind me had run to catch me, and took the full weight of my fall and hit the rocks instead of me.

"Are you okay?"

I will never lose the sound of that voice in my ears, or the kindness behind them.

It was Patrick; cut up, bleeding, and bruised, but asking me if I was alright.

I was in love immediately. My little 8-year-old heart couldn't stand it. He was cute and he'd saved me from getting very hurt by letting himself take the brunt of my fall instead, and all he cared about was whether or not I was okay.

Nobody had ever protected me like that before.

We were inseparable for 2 years, until the week leading up to our first ever school dance.

Patrick asked me to go with him.

My biological father laughed in my face and told me he wouldn't allow any [you know the racial slur] taking HIS first-born to any frilly, faggy little dance where "coloreds can mix with children of quality [read: white kids]".

He pulled me out of class. He forced me into a different set of classes. He convinced my teachers and faculty that Patrick was a bad influence, and that he had to be kept away from me.

I lost the first and only person that had ever protected me.

It broke my heart, and from the cracks in the pieces of my shattered, now 10-year-old heart, hate seeped in.

Not hate for minorities, though.

Hate for Nazis.

I eventually grew up enough that, in a very graphic incident where my biological father tried to kill me, my DID-ridden, traumatized brain snapped. I whited out, while one of my alters went absolutely fucking berserk. She beat my biological father so badly he had to be hospitalized and taken to emergency surgery. I didn't remember what she'd done until I was a grown adult, but I still remember the fear my biological father had to mask around me after that.

He was terrified. Shit-your-pants-and-cry terrified. Of me. Of the ghost of my first love. Of the rage he'd instilled in me for daring to rip my heart out and force me to eat it at 10 years old because the boy I loved was black.

My biological father never spoke of it again. He stopped touting his racist and bigoted rhetoric. When people at his work asked him what happened to him that had him on such a long FMLA leave, he was too humiliated to admit that his 13-year-old had beaten him into a pulp.

The rest of his family shut up with their racist shit in my presence, too.

I never saw Patrick again, and I still don't know what happened to him, or if he's even still alive.

But by god, it was the love we had for each other that broke the cycle.

Trump, Elon, and those other chucklefucks will never know what it feels like to fight with everything you are for love.

To all of those reading this that are scared, that are facing bigotry and violence and hate, do not give up.

All it took was a bad fall at recess and a single wrathful ass-kicking to silence multiple generations of Nazis.

Choose love and fight for it. The monsters that have invaded our lives and seek to break us apart cannot understand that our love for one another is only strengthened by our differences.

Listen to Chuck Tingle: Love is fucking real. Choose it. Fight for it.

We can survive. We can defy them in ways they have never conceived.

Dioraden: Dragonborn conlang - genders

ok, so. my approach to building this conlang is that language and culture are inseparably intertwined. so I find i cant build one without the other. as with everything Dioraden, this is a WIP. there are bits missing and things may get shuffled around to fit, its not meant to be perfect or idealised, and there are deliberately problematic elements of the culture that are reflected in the language.

getting my thoughts on the dragonborn approach to gender sorted out is proving difficult to do using notes in a spreadsheet, so im writing it down here. if anybody want to make any comments or suggestions, or ask any questions: please, please please do! it helps my process immensely.

bear in mind also that this is entirely for a fantasy race in a fantasy setting and is not meant to be directly representative of any real world identities or groups. that said, i am open to learning new things.

the dragonborn have a far more complicated relationship to gender than is typical of the other races in the setting.

the first dragonborn were hybrids created via magic from human stock to be servitors for the last true dragons, who they worship as gods. they live in a matriarchal clan-based society with two biological sexes born in a 2-1 ratio of male to female. they are hatched from eggs rather than born as live young.

those are the biological circumstances that underpin the culture. sex and gender are, of course separate but related, and this is where the greater part of the complexity comes in:

dragonborn are gender-trinary. meaning their culture has 3 basic genders; the Feminine, the Masculine, and an as-yet unnamed third gender.

given the matriarchal nature of their society, the feminine is the default gender, in much the same way that in english, the masculine is often treated as the default. e.g. the dragonborn word for mankind is more literally translated as woman-kind. their word for "woman" is "Rodoki" which is also their own word for their species. etymologically, it comes from the words "Rodeigo" - dragon/god (these concepts are synonymous) and "kidoh kidoh" - child/descendant. (Kidoh - child of my brood, as opposed to Ohaki - person who is a child. the repetition of Kidoh indicates multiple generations, with a third optionally being added for emphasis of a distant ancestor.)

thus the word "Woman" can be literally translated as "child of the gods" or "descended from dragons" - Dragonborn.

most biological females are women, and most women are biological females.

Rosika and Rodeka are the words for the other two genders but i havent decided which will be which, once thats setled ill just refer tot he third gender by that word. etymologically they are derived from "woman+river" and "woman+hard+fast"

most men are biologically male. but only about 60% of biological males are men.

the vast, vast majority of non-cis* dragonborn belong to the third gender. about 40% of biological males and a few percent of biological females belong to this gender. it becomes readily apparent in early childhood if a child is 3rd-gender, and it is incredibly rare for a biological make to identify as a woman or vice-versa.

*the semantics of how the terms cis and trans might best be applied here are beyond me, discussion is eagerly welcomed. im being careful with my language here because i really dont know how to translate these concepts properly. the closest analogous concept in humans is enby, which we dont consider to be cis, but also, all of these people conform to their AGAB, though even AGAB doesnt fully apply because a. they hatch from eggs, and b. they aren't considered fully people until they start to speak, so it would be 'Assigned Gender At Speach' i guess? a biological male identifying as a woman, or a biological female identifying as a man would be undeniably trans, as would anyone who was assigned man or woman in childhood and later identifies as third-gender. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

an additional layer of complexity is added by a fourth genderless identity, similar to our a-gender. with it/its pronouns, though these are distinct for people vs objects.

i haven't created the words for this yet, but it exists, and its on my list of gaps to fill.

a dragonborn of any gender may choose to take on this genderless identity at any time, for a limited period or as a permanent state. often, but not always, this is done as a sign of dedication to a task or creed. however people who are simply agender do exist.

finally, there are 3 gender neutral singular pronouns. the primary one is Li (pronounced lie) which directly translates as the singular "they" in english. with the plural "they" being Linah. the second singular they is Linoh, and the thrid is Litah.

the 3 singular theys exist only to allow the speaker to easily distinguish between multiple unidentified people in casual conversation. e.g. instead of "the first one said [X] and the second one said [Y] so they hit them," it would be "Li said [X] and Linah said [Y] so Li hit Linah."

Lessons from the books that raised us...

I'm not sure how to set up this post, but know that I ardently hate Rowling, and everything she has done to the kids who were raised on and found solace in her characters.

As a now queer and enby disability advocate, I do not promote or purchase or engage with her media anymore.

However, those stories were my first special interest, and were a really accessible door to literature, stories, and (ironically, sadly) empathy for a lot of my generation.

A lot of my peers, the people I grew up with, stopped reading or engaging with intellectual media after school, but goddammit those stories live on in a lot of people's hearts. The messages were deeply, deeply flawed, but they were also incredibly blunt and heavy-handed. Which is going to be helpful here.

Those stories taught us in elementary school about what fascism looks like. Yeah, there are better, more delicate, and more important books about fascism all over the place. I've read them, hell, I electively studied them in college because of how important I think they are. But some people are never going to read them, because they've been identified as "books about fascism".

Harry Potter does not carry that label.

And here's the thing.

In those books, we actively watch a small, wealthy, incredibly powerful group slowly rise to power until it's too late to stop them. We learn their playbook.

Re-introduce old-fashioned, hateful rhetoric. (See: Chamber of Secrets) Suggest that certain groups of people should be careful and not be open about their identities for fear of being targeted. Instill fear in minority groups. Cultivate inherent mistrust of those groups. In the name of protecting the children.

Once you've created that fear, let it grow. Magical races shouldn't be allowed wands (voices) because they don't follow the rules (See Prizoner of Azkaban). Now that you mention it, people with disabilities shouldn't either. Nor should anyone who doesn't have the right genes. One by one, strip any minority group of their rights in the name of protecting the children.

Next, reform the education system. Get rid of dangerous programs, self-defense life skills, and anything that could be uncomfortable to learn about (See The Order of the Phoenix) . Replace it with classical, traditional lessons. And, while you're at it, make sure the government controls the news, as well. In the name of protecting the children.

Use the growing mistrust of minorities you've been cultivating for YEARS to create a moral panic for the safety of the children. Use that panic to put playable idiots in power. (See Half-Blood Prince).

Now, whoever has the most power can control the entire population through fear, controlling the media, education, and workplaces. People must be registered by the part of their identity that makes them different. (See: The Deathly Hallows) And the government gets to decide whether you get to keep on living or not. In the name of protecting the children.

Right now feels bad. It's the sinking cold dread in the pit of my stomach I felt at 8 years old when I opened the Deathly Hallows, rushing through my 3rd grade spelling worksheet so I could read about hurried weddings, hidden identities, and quick escape plans.

These books taught us that the number one weapon they have against us is FEAR. Fear the Other. Fear the consequences. Fear your neighbor. Fear your family. Fear Fear Fear.

They also taught us that the only way to beat this is organized, directed community. Care for those around you. Spend time supporting and uplifting your communities. They don't want us sharing information. They absolutely cannot have us sharing culture and community.

I KNOW these books are no longer the go-to for reading suggestions. But they were my entire queer, autistic childhood, and I think using them against the author is the best I can do for now. At the end of the day, the real world feels incredibly dangerous, and these stories were always my safety.

I won't be posting any more about these books, but this has been on my mind a lot lately, and this past election taught me that we need more accessible ways to invite people into the conversation about what fascism looks like in the real world, and that pedantic analysis of 1930's Germany isn't the only place to start that conversation. Banned books are great for growing the discussion. Familiar books are a better place to start.

We need to find a way to open the conversation to people who are not used to putting in the work. Who were late to the game. Who didn't know better, but who truly, honestly, want to learn now. Meeting people in a place that's familiar to them is the best place to start.

23 yr old enby here- This ad is probably more suited for those who have an interest for D&D, The Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, fantasy genres in general, etc.  If this peaks your interest, then keep on reading for more!

I'm here to propose one of my ocs: A Half-Orc.  A female who could basically crush a man's skull between her thighs, and also have a resting bitch face 24/7.  Normally, I'd pair her with just about any character; though for this specific ad, I have a bit of a different craving.  I'm seeking the following: A dominant male character who is just as strong, or stronger than her. Bonus points if it's monster men like another orc, a hybrid of some kind, supernatural being, etc. This particular rp idea can be moderately to heavily smut implied, with a good storyline overall. I'm not going to be interested if the characters are on each other like rabbits 24/7.

With that being said, here are my rules:

Be 18+ since NSFW/Erotic/Mature themes may occur.

Literacy, decent or proper English writing. 3rd person point of view only.

Replies to be at least a couple paragraphs or more.

Do not rely on me to carry the story, a roleplay is a group effort and should not just rest on someone's shoulders to pull the entire time.

reminder that women's sports as a category in the western world exists largely because when women won against cis men on the national or international level women would get banned because the basis of the patriarchy was threatened. this even was the case for rifling in the 1990s. guns. in the 1990s. its absurd. the basis of sports divisions is oppositional sexism. maybe you can divide some sports by weight class but that's it. and if you must you can have categorical awards within a general competition e.g. if a woman or enby or xenogender person wins there's still a 1st place specifically for men category, and there still is for the rest too, but the important things are that there's still a general 1st 2nd 3rd etc and the other categories are self-identified, not pseudoscience.

ofc as a polygender system we know we know pangender people could fit a lot of categories echnically but c'mon wouldn't you also be amazed if some rando pangender person with whatever body they had had a higher score than literally everyone else across the gender spectrum who competed.

women's sports in the modern west were created to regulate women's bodies along racist, transphobic, imperial, and in all cases bioessentialist patriarchic lines, not to protect women, but instead to say who can fit being a woman at all according to the patriarchy, and to perpetuate the myth that women are lesser. we literally don't have the time rn to get into this but we are this close to re-editing a paper in a frenzy on women at war for thousands of years so it can be released publicly. we really really just can't right now this instant

About Sparkclan!

Sparkclan is a 700+ moon save file I've had since late 2022. It's an amalgamation of various different mods from the Clangen discord server that, and my own, that I've combined in a source code build of the game.

In universe, it's existed for ~60 years and is the 3rd oldest out of 6 clans in the forest. Lightstar, the current leader, is the 11th leader so far. The territory rests between the sandy ocean shore and the pacific northwest forest (thats what its based on anyways. its not really meant to mimic a real world place lol). It consists of gorges of jagged stones, towering firs, and rocky shorelines that have been sanded smooth by the waves. Very picturesque, but also very dangerous.

Despite the many challenges it has faced Sparkclan has grown to become the largest of the 6 clans and managed to be (mostly) functional! Except for that time a few years ago where basically everyone starved to death. Whoops.

There's a lot of cats. Many lots of cats. Too many cats. 236 cats.

I draw based on moon events, flavor text, and patrols as well as whatever else I can think of! :3

Don't have an update schedule. I like to think I post semi frequently but being a full time student there's no promise i wont fall off the wagon of that.

I try to remember to add image descriptions when I upload, but sometimes I forget or I'm busy. In that case I add them back in later (usually after a few days)

Life update;

Hey so um I kind of forgot about this for over 2 years, so much has happened even just in the last year and a bit

Finally worked out what was causing my yearly spirals

Changed my name socially

Came out to my dad and brother as non-binary

Was involved in a massive police case

Moved back into home

Adopted a kitten

Was officially diagnosed with IST after over 2 years trying to get a diagnosis and treatment, was also started on medications to help with above yearly spirals

Moved interstate

Found out my kitten has a heart murmur

Figured out I'm more agender than enby

Met and made the absolute best friend in the world

Move interstate again due to unsafe living situations

Figured out I'm on the aro spectrum

Got to see my childhood best friend a few times in my childhood town

Moved interstate AGAIN (3rd time in 4 months and fingers crossed the last time)

Became even closer with my best friend once we were living in the same city again

Was admitted to psych again after 10 months in the community

Found out my new joint diabetes management is working amazing and my HBA1C is down to 6.4

Was out for 1 month before being readmitted and am now in a short term residential facility

So yeah, things have been hectic, but I am (hopefully) finally getting the treatment I actually need and have been searching for for years. I was in residential for Litha (what I celebrate as a mix of Christmas and summer solstice) and will be in for proper Christmas tomorrow as well, which somewhat sucks. I did manage to go on overnight leave for Litha with my best friend though, and I was so greatful for that

Anyway, here are my two kitties who I miss a lot while having been inpatient for the last two weeks (the kitten (calico) is named Sage)
