And yes with all the power at my hand I decided on doing Bildad the shuhite first. Still unposed and obviously most of it is just blocked out and the facial expression needs a revision and I definitely didn't spend two hours trying to get a hang of doing hard surfaces in Zbrush for the glasses only to give up ...(Gonna do them in blender). And I can only emphasize that the facial expression is getting a bit more work. I am just not good with them.

Also I did a bit of refinement on the base

And I am generally pretty happy with it. Probably gonna do a few with less extreme expressions.

Idk who needs to hear this but whenever folks are like "they didn't even do real art, they used a 3d model to help with the pose!!",

all i hear is some snooty priss in 1833 going, "they didn't even do real art, they looked at a PHOTOGRAPH for reference!! That's CHEATING!!"

Like, 3D models are not A.I.! They are morally neutral modern art tools (that, by the way, very much still require effort and skill to use)!

Shortcuts in art technology [that don't steal other people's art] are good actually!! People should use them!

Whenever people disparage someone's artistic ability because that person openly says they use 3d models, I'm just like,

Okay

DO PRAY TELL, what other amazing advancements in modern art technology count as "cheating"? Perspective grids? Lasso tools? Color correction? Pattern brushes? Symmetry rulers? Undo buttons?? Shortcut keys??? - Aren't you a bit young to be an old man yelling at clouds??

oh i got 3 compliments on my nails at social anxiety group tonight🥺🥺

#also i finally got to talk to the other girl* who's actually in the group #one of the compliments was from her and the others from one of the. um idk what you call them. ladies training to be psychiatrists #part of the appeal of these nails is the are 3d so they are very tactile #also im realising that the autism is also making the Getting Over Social Anxiety hard #bc the social anxiety def came from the autism so. there's things i just don't do and im very adamant about not changing them but #like #eye contact and such. im never going to do that and i think tahts OK!#sorry these tags are like. getting in depth. honestly. as much as i do like the remaster (new puzzles and bgs!)… i think the ds version as A Game is better (ghost trick)

#i think it has to do with the 3d models in the remaster for me #like at points the models jitter a bit in place like theyre clipping #or the background is low res but the models are high res which is noticeable in the salon #and the facial expressions not changing on said models looks off #this isnt a problem for the ds because its so low res you can make things up #and i just like how they Didnt use 3d for the ds- at least i dont think so #and also. pixelated charm….#also the cutscenes seem to be rendered in real time and because of that they dont actually finish playing because they slow down/lag #the rest of the game runs find mind you. and these are Minor things #but. i Would recommend the ds version to new people because of said things #OH ALSO the double screens! it makes things easier!

i should redesign infinite

#his current design works great for a 3d model #but his ears are utterly undrawable at smaller sizes #and also he only has one visible facial feature which can only be one shape #which is really limiting in terms of expressions #also his scarf is so underwhelming that it looks like neck fluff from a distance
