I finally got around to watching the episode. Massive lore dump AND Aizen? Amazing, perfect, 10/10.

Gonna ramble and this is not for anime only watchers, as I'm rambling about the manga and CFYOW.

The backstory with Ukitake was much needed imo! It's always a treat when Kubo flexes his body horror ideas, and it's interesting to see it animated.

The ShunUki agenda is alive and well and I'm 100% here for it. It was great to show that from early on, Shunsui never held back, even for someone like Ukitake. I know it's can be argued it's because they didn't establish their friendship at that point, but I'd like to see it as foreshadowing for how unforgiving of a fighter Shunsui is.

The subtle hits of the butchering of the Soul King! The fact that it's only a rumour amongst the upper-class nobles is what's fascinating. The control of information is done by the 4 Noble Clans (Shihouin, Kuchiki, Tsunayashiro and the Unknown Clan). The Shiba Clan was considered a 5th one and stepped away after the butchering of the king, with the Ise being the makers of the sword. It makes me wonder who else was present for the king's dismembering (aside from Ichibei).

AIZEN! Ugh, it was a treat to see him (but never enough for my ass lol).

I had an odd theory looking over the TFE episodes (and I am writing this at like 3am so someone else could probably put it a lot better than I can)

What if Bee was a Decepticon at some point?

There’s a little bit of evidence for it - he seems to be on personal terms with a lot of the Decepticons, to the point of apologizing to one of the Insecticons during the battle for the Allspark. He has Decepticon tech - maybe Optimus gave it to him, I’m not sure? Either way, he seems to really know his way around it. Swindle seems to have a very personal vendetta against him, specifically referring to the Battle of the Bay, which is definitely an important battle as it’s when Megatron defected and Dottie lost her leg.

And then there’s the whole thing with Breakdown! I could be remembering this wrong, but does Breakdown mention Optimus “getting between” them or something? They could have been friends pre-war of course, and that’s more likely, but it just makes me wonder.

I’m sure there are other examples. And perhaps he was a spy instead. Perhaps I’m looking too much into this, haha. It just seems like it would fit into Earthspark’s theme of change, and would be something very new with Bumblebee, which they seem to be trying to do with a lot of the classic characters.

One of my favorite things to learn about while reading about cr gods is that the Changebringer "calls no domain in the planes her residence" and "wanders through the Outer Planes where serenity can be found." Which I can only interpret to mean she couchsurfs around the planes, randomly showing up at the other Prime Deities' doors and being like "heyyyy, so I'm gonna chill at your place for a bit, thxxxx :)"

this is just something random ive been thinking about but like... i was thinking about this dialogue when you interact with the sponge cake in dalv's house, and i remember he said his birthday was last week, right?

as far as i know...... none of the undertale yellow characters have canon birthdays........ but based on this dialogue one could make the assumption that maybe dalv's birthday would be like a week before the full game (or even the demo's) release??? :o
