Seriously, I need the sun to come out for a little while. Yesterday was a miserable day. Today is snowing. This morning was very slippery, going to work it was bad, coming back home the roads were okay. I am volunteering to teach Spanish from 6 to 7:30 and I’m not looking forward to getting out.

the gym workers received mini Reeses and Hershey kisses

low temperature this morning = 18F. was around 30F by the time i rode to the gym

checked on my Mom after lunch and she was sleeping. visited with my sister and helped with some chores around the house

felt great to be back in the saddle and exercising at the gym

my weight is up a couple of pounds from boredom eating at home

cooking pinto beans and ham for supper so i can get back on track

left = beautiful blue sky / supposed to be cloudy tomorrow and warmer

It's 8F here but the windchill is almost -30F. But the sun's out.

2pm: 95F/35C, rain showers and thunderstorms 3pm: 92F/33C, cloudy, light drizzle 5:15pm 61F/16C, partly cloudy, and me dead on the floor

it dropped over 30F/almost 20C in less than three hours. I hate everything.

this is not meant as a comparison to anything going on in Europe right now, which is genuinely a crisis and if you need tips on how to stay cool/avoid heat stroke please ask! I used to be a lifeguard and we had to respond heat stroke/heat exhaustion way more than drowning.

but this barometric pressure bullshit just kills at this altitude and my brain got compressed into sludge and it is coming out of my ears

Being allergic to heat is absolute bullshit and absolutely horrendous. I went outside for less than a minute to go throw out my trash, and not even ten seconds in, my skin started to burn and itch as if I was standing in a fire ant mound.

EASTER PLANS: Chicken done on the barbecue in 5 inches of snow. It went from 60F to 30F in 12 hours and it’s still snowing. But, lots of text messages and pictures and FaceTime calls from our family across the US! It’s been interesting. ♥️😂

Oh nooo! You must live even farther north than I do! (We had snow earlier this week, and also graupel??, but today it’s a cloudy 60 degrees.) The chicken sounds so good, though! Starting to regret asking about people’s dinners before I’ve actually eaten. 😂
