hayy !!! im curious actually because ive made a split cosplay for my avatar on roblox but i had to find an alternative for her shell because i dont think theres an officially made wearable item for her shell specifically ,, but i also wasnt really sure and didnt wanna go off with what i saw , so i wanted to ask if there is an officially made item for her shell ??! and if there isnt at the moment will there ever be one if its manageable ?? would love to know !!! :3

I’ve actually spoken to yeucc about completing the split set (tail, banana skirt thing, shell, etc) and unfortunately gave me some news about how roblox ugc sucks big time

Yeucc still wants to try and get the items up for ugc, it’s just 1) His team and himself are very busy atm working on updates and other things, and 2) again, ugc just SUCKS!!!! bounding boxes or smth yea

Hopefully in the future the split set will be complete and you silly cosplayers will run wild and terrorize players :3💛

the substitutes i use for the tail, shell, banana skirt things are these items:

- Yellow Pastel Skirt (there’s also a 1.0 ver)

- Demon Cat Tail

- Brown Snail Shell

(i also used the traditional yellow tie waist item because i was a dummy and didn’t buy the 1.0 yellow skirt LOL)

Though these are what I use :3 there’s no official way to make a split cosplay so you’re welcome to dress her up with whatever you like :)

Cosplay help

I'm looking to get back into cosplaying after many years of not doing it. I was just hoping for some help finding sites to get stuff, or finding good tutorials to make stuff etc I'm currently wanting to cosplay as Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet from OFMD And Nandor and Laszlo from WWDITS Theres others too but this atm is what I would like to do, and I need to have at least one ready for August for a convention local to me so any help would be greatly appreciated <3

It appears tumblr is my ‘go to’ place for posting things atm, so I figured I’d drop Jesse. 

Some fun or not facts about it and our Control fun booth:

1. The jacket is actually my Clary Fray jacket which I never got to use for Clary. The booth team needed a Jesse and I was like, wait a minute, I just happen to have the jacket and maybe it’s high time I check out the game! The jacket ended up only lasting for those two convention days (barely) before faux leather literally fell off... Been looking for a new one since July. :( And this is literally the only cosplay I’ve done without a wig in years, it was just... way easier to dye my hair. no complaints here, I love being a redhead, NEVER going back to Rey’s color

2. The booth team actually did some pretty neat quests for visitors like collecting the mold (cotton wool) or talking to plants. There was also some singing in Finnish involved if I remember correctly... I was mainly on the other side of the booth from our Ahti so sadly the plants talking and singing happened mostly without me. 

3. OOOOH also we had the hotline!!! You had to use the switch three times (the lighting in the hotline booth would change each time juuuust like the game) and then the hotline rang. My favorite thing to do was to bring legit everyone I know to the booth and tell them to pull the switch. What the team did was just too cool for me I only had a hand in decorating the table, I’m no electrician, I needed everyone to see that, and only a few quest undergoers got to the hotline bit. :( Almost everyone’s reaction was, ‘Will it shock me?’ because I guess that’s what one would expect, right?.. And then of course they’d have to listen to the Board speaking jibberish on the phone. My favorite reaction was one person yelling, ‘F*cking realtors, don’t call here ever again!’ in reply. 

There are some more fun facts about this Control booth, if anyone’s interested, I’d be more than happy to share more.

okay so she's a demon right? they make pacts all the time, she probably can't leave until she fulfills SOME kind of request/contract for them. She's literally stuck there

but i imagine she really dislikes humans/is wary of them bc i was like "damn what if a past person ripped/cut off her wings" bc i love making myself sad ?!?! (I don't want to draw her wings)

and so she's like. Snappy and irritable and basically a scared cat is the best way to describe it. She's curious so she's snooping and messing with things, some things she's never seen before, but it's all so that they hurry up and give her a request so she can LEAVE. She wants to get OUT of there

i was also thinking she doesn't like having her back towards people, like she tries to keep herself facing people at all times (at least when in confined spaces. Other demons probably stare at her scars)

i think it'd be really funny if she sneaks out and follows either Mammon to work or Solomon to class. And just causes trouble. And people are staring at her bc she has horns and a tail and everyone is like "yooo sick cosplay bro how did you do that?!" which would obviously terrify her. Maybe leaving the house wasn't a good idea?

Mammon desperately dialing Solomon to come pick her up bc he's already on his third strike at this job and she isn't helping (ough. What if this gets him fired. Yay conflict.)

I have lots of thoughts churning in my brain over this. I think it'd be nice if they take her shopping for different clothes to try and cover her demon features. Horns are hard though, she is rejecting every hat they try to shove on her head

Also. Imagine Solomon offered up Mammon's bed instead of her using the couch. So funny, he def did it on purpose so Mammon could share with him. "And there was only one bed"

Anyway there is ONE (1) cute scene in my head of Solomon saying he needs to visit a crystal shop and Mammon whining he doesn't want to be left alone babysitting. So they drag her along. And she might complain on the way there, but the second they get there, she's all starry-eyed

She's so careful with interacting, even afraid to pick things up. Maybe gets real close to stare at spheres, but overall, she's really docile (?) and fascinated. They've never seen her like this. I think Mammon might clink two crystals near her just to see her reaction. Solomon might explain names and properties while she pretends not to be super interested. Blue sandstone catches her eye even though it's a man made crystal (maybe there's irony in that lol)

WIP Wednesday (actually on Wednesday!)

So I'm gonna do a small dump of all the (too many) things I'm doing at the moment!

Modding: I've started NPVince, finally!! That screenshot is from two weeks ago but I didnt make much progress yet cause being ill and cosplay things got in the way xD But on a basic level he is done and I'm really looking forward to start customizing him (not so much cleaning up the files and custompathing xD but I'll get there!)

Cosplay Stuff: ngl, this vest might be one of the nicest pieces of clothing I've ever done so far uwu I'm really proud but also already know several things I'd like to redo about it when I make a 2.0 version xD I also want to redo some details on this, technically still gotta add sleeves, and also so many badges and the samurai patch and bullets and aaahhhh! But I love it a lot already uwu other than that what's missing of my 2023!Kerry outfits still are the pants, and I've never done pants as complex before, but I'm really looking forward to tackling that :D

Art: Next up are some commissions first, but inbetween I'm working on several smaller illustrations all at once. One I cant post on tumblr in full xD this one is hopefully gonna be the start of a series of my favourite in-game scenes visualised like movie still-frames :3

Writing: I'm also slowly working away on my longfic, chapter 16 is almost done! But I also have brainworms atm about an alternative ending ficlet with max 5-8 chapters for the PL ending 👀 we shall see when and if I get to that xD

Yes!!! It's the goddess ita bag by jupypoopy on Etsy, she's currently preparing for anime expo so her shop isn't open atm. I bought the full price one because it comes with the remlit pin, but she was also selling b grades at a discount (without the pin) when I bought mine!

Literally cannot rec this bag enough it is amazing. Every detail is ADORABLE. It's sturdy, has straps that adjust to be crossbody or a backpack, has so many references to Zelda games in general and not just botw. The whole front unzips so adjusting the pins is super easy and accessible.

The only "cons" I have are 1. The price (which is completely reasonable for the artist designed bag AND pin, and is honestly a steal compared to loungefly bags and stuff, but for $80 it isn't in everyone's budget) 2. The wings are snap on magnets, and though they're supposed to stay on pretty well after snapping them in, I find I worry they'll fall off and I'd lose them. Tbh this bag is my cosplay/con bag and a decoration for my Zelda collection and 3. The lime green insert hides the cute patterned inside!! I'm going to find some clear vinyl to replace it. The window is also a bit small compared to other it's bags, which is why it's my designated Zelda pins only and the keychains go on the outside

Hello, lovely! Long time no see for us both! I'm glad you're back, haunting the witch-sphere. I'm glad you're feeling better, that's so nice to hear - you deserve it. I'm still waiting for treatments and to be seen by people that don't actually care about my health (or so it seems when they lie, ghost you, and then only send you an appointment because they've been told, categorically, by a specialist, that I am severely unwell).

I miss being here, and I miss my friends. I'm just so tired these days. I can barely do my day-to-day, and when I do have energy, I just want to be happy for a while, so I sit down and work on cosplay stuff. It's really what's getting me through atm.
