ja die hab ich auch

selbst jetzt noch hängen sie da rum

jetzt wo ich alt und schwach und dumm

Dr Stone episode 17 was really great! It’s, very nice seeing Senku cry, I’ve praised how refreshing Senku’s characterisation is in so far as he truly, genuinely cares for and appreciates others, but seeing him shed a tear out of both sorrow for the loss of a loved one as well as appreciation for what that loved one gave him, it’s the cherry on top. Power of friendship felt earned here, and that’s great. Also I appreciate that his dad isn’t his biological dad and it’s presumably adoptive instead - I don’t have any sort of history with adoption or know anyone who does (to my knowledge anyway) but it still really touches me to see it be used well in fiction, particularly in situations like this where it’s not a tragic thing at all, everything’s just, good. I loved this show from episode 1 but I’m still surprised by the feels it’s given me, really didn’t expect that at all, but boy am I grateful.
