The goal? Help Mona escape the clutches of a mad scientist and find a vampire familiar. Then continue her journey to get back home to Paris. tried adding the numeric values of the letters in the ciphertext and "areyoufeelingfeverish" together (result "faflgpiiadciydtaawlbl") and unsurprisingly this produces nothing in vernam/vignere with other texts such as the ceremony name/autodecrypt/key "executor". complaining about this seems to help so

aka Someone Please Renew The King’s Quests, These Empires Kids Are Broke

sooooo I’m mildly insane and decided to approximate some basic needs costs on HC just so I could see how difficult it might be for the Emperors to get themselves set up without resource grinding (outside of diamond mining ofc)

Now there’s every chance a bunch of them will get various hand-outs and support, but just assuming they’re going from absolute scratch to basic full set-up (D stands for Diamonds):

Armor set: 24D basic full set + 25D elytra @ Wings and Things = 49D

Tool set (2 picks, axe, shovel, sword, hoe): 14D

Enchantments (from iEnchant): OPT stands for commonly foregone enchants that may make certain tasks more difficult or take up durability

GFDI I forgot how much I love a game where the "unreliable narrator"/"source" is used well!

Take Geldoblame and Melodia's relationship -

Some NPCs suppose he's some kind of pervert lusting after her - and when we go to his room (rather, theirs because the pool oddly seems to be the one we see in the CGs each time a Guardian is defeated) with the big bed, the toy wood horse, the dolls and all it's... uh, off-putting.

But when you realise Geldoblame mistakingly believed he would gain immortality/super powers by resurrecting a dead godly eldritch abomination... he mistakingly believed it based on what Melodia led him to believe!

In Gemma, the party has the realisation that Melodia was the one who actively supported Geldoblame to release the eldritch god's parts by giving him the sealing mc guffin her family (well...) had in their manor for generations.

So we have Melodia lying and encouraging Geldoblame to release her god, which, imo, completely contradict the Mira NPCs' beliefs, suggesting Geldoblame was the one, uhh, creeping on her.

Of course we had people back when the game was released who believed Geldoblame, a 45 years old crazed maniac emperor, might have taken adventage of the 15 years old Melodia (ignoring the fact that she's basically a zombie partly possessed by demons) - but hey, the game makes it explicit that, in this relationship, Geldoblame wasn't the one leading the duo.

He was basically manipulated, then turned in an eldritch abomination, then backstabbed, then shot down only to fall in a lava pit!

BKO pops up and reveals Geldoblame had a thing with the guy (he even had a scrapbook about him !) who is heavily suggested to have been Melodia's grandpa - and was ditched like dirt by said guy because he's now seen as an "old toy".

Calling it now : BK is basically Geldoblame being screwed by Verus' line through three generations

However, no catchy Jpop song for him to make the cast forget the kind of douchbag he was - who had a village slaughtered because they delayed their ore shipment protesting against their crap working conditions - since we get a FB were Lyude (the guy who was fired for not being an asshat) remembers how his Emperor told him that people only existed to do his biding.

Hell, Geldoblame's hatred/evil/malice/whatever makes him pop up in the epilogue for a last fight, as to remember that we might have gotten a story about eldritch abominations and gods, this human here? Was shitty on his own - even without demons influencing people or playing 25D chess.
