My inspiration mini story

My fiancé ordered pizza mind you I hadn’t eaten the whole day but he assumed I ate breakfast/lunch because I cooked for him and our daughters. Anyhow, he order pizza and I ate a slice, then reached in the box for a second and he said “that’s enough, are you really going to eat two slices then complain about your weight” I immediately dropped the slice ran upstairs and couldn’t even hold down the first one. Thanks babe, I’ll be at my UGW in no time.

 W przededniu swoich kolejnych urodzin wracam do korzeni- węzeł gordyjski, który zasupłał się w mojej głowie, próbuję wyłożyć na płaską powierzchnię, jaką jest cyfrowa kartka papieru. Wyłożyć, przyjrzeć się, rozłożyć na czynniki pierwsze, by w końcu odnaleźć tę plątaninę macierzystą, od której wszystko się zaczęło. 

Mam 22 lata, połowę studiów za sobą, wspaniałych przyjaciół, dobrze płatną pracę, i... zero perspektyw na ułożenie sobie życia. Jeszcze gdy byłam małą dziewczynk��, miałam plan, który zakładał studia, wyjście za mąż rok po ich ukończeniu, dzieci, realizację zawodową. Brałam to za coś pewnego, bo skoro tyle osób to osiągnęło, dla mnie też nie będzie to nic trudnego. Ba, oceniałam tych, którym się to nie udało. Tymczasem jestem w wieku, w którym moi rodzice powitali mnie na świecie i na horyzoncie nie pojawia się nawet cień nadziei na realizację tych marzeń. Nie napiszę, że mam jeszcze dużo czasu, że późno wyłaniająca się dorosłość, że im później, tym lepiej podejmuje się decyzje. Te słowa to maski, które zakładam w świecie realnym. Prawda jest taka, że znalezienie kogoś, z kim zechcę budować to życie stało się moim Everestem. Oszukiwałam się- że nie idzie, bo jestem zakochana w kimś innym, bo to nie ten moment, bo nie poznałam nikogo fajnego i nie wiem gdzie to zrobić. Tymczasem, ja po prostu się boję- zaangażować, obnażyć wszystkie dziwactwa, pakiet ludzi i doświadczeń, które na co dzień skrzętnie ukrywam, oddzielając mnie z domu ode mnie ze studiów. Jestem przerażona myślą, że ktoś miałby mnie dotknąć i odkryć niedoskonałości, które nauczyłam się ukrywać pod pięknymi sukienkami i uśmiechem. Czuję, że jestem na skrzyżowaniu dróg, ale wszystkie drogi są w remoncie, więc stoję w miejscu. 

Mam mdłości na myśl o zjazdach rodzinnych, które uwielbiałam, bo wypełnione były żartami, śpiewem i bliskością. Teraz wiem, że gdy tylko przekroczę próg, każdy wyciągnie swój zestaw pytań, a gdy uzyska niesatysfakcjonujące odpowiedzi, zacznie ich szukać na własną rękę- co jest nie tak, dlaczego ona nikogo nie ma? Większość uważa, że po prostu ukrywam swoje relacje albo że nigdzie nie wychodzę, utknąwszy po uszy w książkach. Jakże chciałabym, by była to prawda.  

Chcę wierzyć, że przechodzi to każda z nas, ale otoczone presją feminizmu i obrazu niezależnej kobiety, wstydzimy się o tym mówić. Instynkt macierzyński i potrzebę bliskości traktujemy niczym atawizm- zbędną pozostałość po przodkach. Dajmy sobie prawo do wyboru- choćby miała to być siódemka dzieci i ogródek warzywny w Żukowie. To może nie być moja lub Twoja ścieżka, ale największe marzenie tej Twojej koleżanki, wiesz której, przecież pracuje tego lata jako kelnerka. 

22 lata to dziwny wiek, który musimy przetrwać, nauczyć się mechanizmów obronnych, by 23 rok był lepszy.
