Facts about the au:

So instead of nm eating a postive apple he instead ate an negative apple and the human who tried to kill nim like in the og dreamtale exist here but didnt completely possess nm's body

The other guardians(life and magic) exist here but not the originals, like nim they were attacked too(but different reasons)

Underverse events will happen in this au

The multiverse is kinda a bit of a mix of steampunk and the 20th century but there still soem stuff that exist from the 21st and futuristic other stuff(why? because i can)

Basically middle class is like the 20-21century, upper class are like mix of nobility, celebrities, and etc(im to lazy to explain it more), and there are still existing of modern and also futuristic technologies of medical equipment, weapons, and lower class are more steampunk related

Started to hear mare when he was a teenager

The village was a cult and newt didnt believe their teachings and tried to convince dream not too because of the things mare told him but dream didnt listen

The second shortest of the cast

He runs a bar for decades

Originally, it was just a normal bar, but due to mare and some incidents, newt started to do shady stuff and is well known in the criminal underworld

Met randy before the destruction of his world

Is a fugitive but is not seen as a dangerous criminal due to the fact jr doesnt know anything on what he is or what he has done for the past couple of decades after a certain fight with him and vincent

Prefers long range weapons

Some Personality traits: observant, diligent, prudent, a bit envious, pessimistic

Happy drunk him would turn the night into a fucking musical show

Usually speaks monotone and in third person

Only hired hacker because of the fact he was hot and thought he could used that to get more money and customers(totally worked)

Lets bobby go to the bar only if he doesnt drink alcohol

Hired randy because he needed a cook and because he saw benefits he could have if he hired him

Love-hate relationship with mare, they dont like each other, but in a hypothetical situation where Mare suddenly is gone, newt would be happy at first but starts to freak out (they've been together for a century)

Has a history with hyde and still has the other half of the soul safely hidden

Weaknesses: positivity, vincent(only vincent can inflict servere injuries that last long or can kill him), and wounds/injuries that any normal person would die from, he wont die from it but still hurts(he is kinda like deadpool)

He can teleport only to places he is familiar with but he only ever uses it to go home, Anywhere else is risky because he might misfire and land somewhere totally inconvenient or unintended even though he is familiar to the place(ex. He teleports to a factory but accidentally lands on a tank full of acid that the factory has inside because he wanted to be inside the workshop or he teleports outside the factory but either lands on the garbage or gets chased by feral animals, basically he doesnt want to risk landing or seeing something he didnt want to see or experiencing)

Doesnt know about mare's existence (has heard of him)

Believed what the villagers taught him and stopped after a few decades when JR tooked down a large cult and vincent starts to realized the similarities of it back at the village and eventually made him realized how wrong it is to hunt down and newt for something they didnt asked for

Unaware of what newt is now or his business

prefers to use a whip

Jr is no longer trying to eradicate all negativity

Some personality traits: diligent, wants to protect others, pragmatic, witty

He has a lot of dogs

He finds dog, takes them, gives them a bath, and they stay

Found bobby injured in the alley when bobby was escaping when jr entered the building the cult was in

Heard of newt from some cult members and grew admiration to him when the seniors kidnapped newt for a ritual and newt slaughtered them(tim was 8 years old and was hiding in a closet so newt didnt know)

Some personality traits: loud, lots of curiosity, childish, mercurial

Has an evil spellbook that he stole from the cult while he was escaping

Thinks he cursed randall and is trying to find what curse he used

Just wanna clarify something and that is hyde is not xgaster, well he was supposed to be when xtale was forming but when xtale for some reason stopped in its code so did developing the characters which was just him and 2 kids, so he is technically an empty template of a supposed gaster but eventual became more of an original character when newt came into the picture

He is attached to newt

dont call him gaster or xgaster(he found the name xgaster lazy)

And because he doesnt like the fact he is an au

Same with finn, he can live without food, water, and air

I know what you're thinking was in many ways a natural continuation of my earlier project Amor Fati (working with Nvidia’s stylegan algorithm to create the 21century leader). The obvious question in exploring AI was how to make use of a technology that as of September 2022 (Dall-E ending their waitlists) more broadly opened the world of endless mimical creation to the wider public; because how do you create something that feels original through a machine that with it’s massive database outputs seemingly impressive but nonetheless still just repurposed and remixed variations of the limitations of the very same database? Even now the portraits made in Amor Fati are closer to the technology’s inherent aesthetic with its flaws and artifacts than that of the todays results easily prompted with any aesthetic imaginable to most - the two year old portraits have already become old, outdated and perhaps only live through their concept and relation to time.
