These Banana Oat Pancakes are a nutritious and satisfying breakfast option. They are made with ripe bananas and oats, making them gluten-free and perfect for a healthy start to your day.
Ingredients: 2 ripe bananas. 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats. 2 large eggs. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cooking spray or oil for the pan.
Instructions: Put the ripe bananas in a blender after peeling them. For the blender, put in the ground cinnamon, eggs, baking powder, rolled oats, and salt. In a blender, blend everything together until you have a smooth pancake batter. Heat a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium-high heat and use cooking spray or a little oil to oil it up. For every pancake, pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot pan. Once the top starts to bubble, flip it over and cook the other side until it's golden brown. If you need to, add more oil to the pan and do it again with the rest of the batter. You can top your hot banana oat pancakes with fresh fruit, maple syrup, yogurt, or anything else you like. Have fun with your tasty and healthy pancakes!

This has become my favorite meal lately. 2 whole and one white scrambled eggs, bella mushrooms, green peppers, colby jack cheese all garnished with salsa. For a sweeter taste, I have a plain rice cake with almond butter, green apple slices and a dash of cinnamon. Mmmm. Pair this with my coffee in the morning and I'm in heaven. 😋

12-15-19 FAIL
We got our wedding pictures back and a lot look good but a lot also showcase my dam fuckin lower belly pooch which i thought flattened out significantly being that my final fitting had two inches taken in from each side! Don't get me started on my arms, or how my thigh high panty hose killed me!
My face is beautiful if, i do say so myself, however this fat... dead. Dead. DEAD.
Im losing this stomach, and thigh fat in 2020 and will get to my goal weight. Psycho diet prep starts now.

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try…
Yesterday, with the help of one of my friends I decided to sign up and do Beach Body. Beach Body is a whole fitness regimen with multiple different challenges and categories of workouts. The workouts and challenges are also accompanied by diet advice and guidelines.
I chose to start with doing the 21 Day Fix. It took me a long time to decide because I want it to work this time. I have started and stopped hundreds and thousands of diets, work out plans, lifestyle changes, … you name it…. I swear I’ve probably tried it. Yesterday when I signed up I tried to set myself up for success. I went out and bought a new water bottle and a Brita for at work, set up my 5 lb. weights and my yoga mat, and downloaded the app on all the devices possible. Then I did the most dreaded thing. I weighed myself. I am not ashamed of the number on the scale because I’m going to take it as a motivating factor. I weighed in at 245.7 lbs. This is the heaviest and just down right grossest I have ever felt. My tipping point was shopping for clothes for the trip to California we are taking in just a few weeks. I ordered a ton of stuff online because not only is it winter here in Wisconsin and summer clothes aren’t in stores, but they also don’t have good plus size options anyways. So, online I went. I ordered hundreds of dollars’ worth of clothes thinking that I’d keep a few great pieces that were going to make me feel great on my trip. Nope, of course that wasn’t the case. I returned all but one pair of shorts I was shocked fit and one tank top that I am still on the fence about. I was so disheartened. But that’s okay, it brought me here.
This morning, I got up at 5:30 am and put some crappy clothes on and went down to the basement and pressed play. Did I do the work out? Heck yes! Did I stop and not do every single move the pretty, fit, and motivational lady did on the TV? You bet! I did my very best and that’s all I can hope for. I am proud of myself. I decided to try! I felt it immediately and it just showed me how out of shape I really am. My legs were jelly by the end of the workout and it’s going to stick with me all day. It was made clear when I almost took a nose dive down my stairs to head to work.
I’ve got this, and I will stick to my plans this time! There is no other option at this point.

My eating hasn’t been too shitty today. One could even say my intake was « balanced » YESTerday however... was my 2 year with bae and I ate a liiiiiiittle over my calorie limit but I’m not mad.

A Place To Be Me
I used to have a tumblr when I was in college. I used it to write poetry and be kind of angsty and whine about how alone I was. I have done a lot of growing but I wanted to create an entirely new tumblr so that I can just have the freedom to be myself. I am going through a journey right now and sometimes I just need a place to let it all out. I am now 29 years old, I have a master’s degree in education, I am engaged to be married in May of 2020, and I am not even close to living my best life. Instead of being a teacher I am a special ed paraprofessional in a middle school working with students with emotional disturbances. I want to be an English teacher, but finding a teaching position is difficult. I am up to my eyeballs in student loan debt and working myself to the bone by working two jobs to pay for everything in my life. To be fair, I have a job, a house, a loving fiance, and wonderful fur babies. My life could be far worse. I am just unhappy in my career, or lack there of, and exhausted from having to work so much. I used to workout and keep my health in check but because I have been so tired I haven’t been able to press play. I am working on changing that as well. That’s really what I am doing here. I am creating the best version of myself. I am struggling with depression and anxiety as well as some digestive issues and it is getting in my way. Okay Christine enough babble. Here’s the point: I need a place to share my health and fitness journey. I need a place to explore my mental health and a place to be open and honest. So....here’s to a new chapter!!!

Omggggg....! So far I've done Total Body Cardio, Upper Fix, skipped the fuck out of Lower Fix because my legs are still sore as shit from Total Body, so did Pilates today... holy shit on a stick, am I sore! Uggghh... I wish I had handicap bars on my toilet right about now because I dread sinking my cheeks down onto it!
Doing leg day tomorrow and then.. I am going to do a rest day and keep it low calorie. I might even have a drink of Vodka and play some Fortnite for a .. "good game" reward, as it were. New Battle Pass comes out! Hells yeah!
As far as my food goes, I am actually tracking my calories on MFP, now. Those containers just make me feel like I'm cheating or something and I've gotten so used to tracking the numbers that it's hard to get lazy about it. All in all, though, I am doing really great in the kitchen! I am definitely kicking some ass this first week! ✊
Also, I recorded my measurements, but don't really have the courage to post my Before picture yet. But I'll save it for the third week's After!
