Halloween Countdown Day 1!
In the 10 days leading to All Hallows Eve, I will bring spooky tricks and treats to social media celebrating the aesthetics, history, and creativity of Halloween.
Our first Halloween treat is a suspenseful music video from 2016 by the Swedish rock band Ghost. This video takes inspiration from 1920's cinema like Metropolis and the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari as well as Disney's Night on the Bald Mountain sequence from Fantasia. Watch as the premier of a horror film goes horribly haywire!
