BABYMONSTER released their newest digital single! (From what I've read online, "FOREVER" seems to be a pre-release for an upcoming album CD to be released in a month or two.) I absolutely love this runway/supermodel + Cinderella concept for the MV! (definitely more storytelling than the MV set for "SHEESH")

Room 401 is a reference to 2024-04-01 when they released their debut CD.

All 7 girls are reading their invitations in their hotel room (kind of like Cinderella's unexpected invitation to the ball) -> It's a fantasy dream coming true!

There are plenty of scenes where the camera focuses on a single high heel or on the girls choosing which shoes to wear -> reference to CInderella losing one shoe later on

You get both Asa & Ahyeon showcasing both vocals & rap again!

Ruka's whispering ad-libs are a blessing. <3

AHYEON'S DRESS CHANGE TRANSITION! (Who needs fairy godmothers when the girls have themselves? XD)

"I'm dancing in the moonlight" + all the dark/nighttime fun shots = reference to how Cinderella spent her night before/during/after the ball

PHARITA'S LONG-TRAIL PINK DRESS! (reminds me of flamenco & tango dancing)

Something about all 7 girls saying "Get money!" in between the rap parts was very satisfying.

Clocktower strikes 12 times for midnight = time to wake up from this bittersweet experience... But the dream will always live on forever!

Does anyone think Aheyon's rapping voice sounds like ITZY's Yuna or another ITZY member? 🤨

Got my first Large Leek. With that I've obtained all ingredients!

How did I get an S rank for the week? My sleep was horrible.

Up to Book 7 on the reread now. I think I'm liking these latter books less. There's a ton of repetition of already discussed mechanics/story points on book 7 especially.

AITM16 + "Farewell Kiss" Videos

Can you believe that June 30th is already here? Tomorrow will be the start of the 2nd half of the year! As promised, here's the final chapter of AITM with the long-awaited ending!

Technically, I didn't plagiarize myself when I wrote the ending, which was inspired by the endings I wrote in RL12 & SOA13 but with completely different context. I think a better comparison would be this scene from NCIS 11x02 where Ziva leaves Tony/NCIS to return to Isreal (Mossad) & also this scene from NCIS 18x16 where Ellie leaves Nick/NCIS for a much more discreet & dangerous operation. (I clearly have an inexplicable affinity for female leads with dramatically heartbreaking exits. >_<)

Now that AITM is officially finished after 3.5 years, I plan to finish TSFR by the end of this year (which gives me until December 31st). Then I'll likely finish PUM sometime next year (hopefully during the 1st half of 2025).
