I get a bit sad whenever I go into pride spaces, and the only rep I get is asexuality.

What about the aromantic rep? Last (I’ll admit, more lowkey) pride event I went to, there were two booths that had aromantic rep. That was it.

And it’s even more difficult for me to find AroAce rep, it’s always separated. Which I suppose is understandable- but I prefer the AroAce flag over the two separate flags.

For the second year in a row, Target has failed to properly compensate and acknowledge the work of queer artists it promised to highlight for its Pride collection. This also means the destruction of tens of thousands of products that were already produced.

This TikTok creator @shanexplains highlights each of the four artists who were intended to be included in the collection.

I think this deserves more attention and should be a call to action. With the Supreme Court decision for gender affirming care on the horizon for 2025, its more important than ever to be loud and proud with support for queer people. And that means queer artists.

Queer identity is not a trend. It’s not something a corporation can choose to participate in and then walk away from completely unscathed. It is devastating to uplift a creative like this and then toss them aside.

I wanted to start it off with some characters that are NPCs in my Saturday campaign, for at least the first few days. But since I burned my drawing dominant hand a few days ago, I will rest my hand before the next few posts.

I am so so happy with how this turned out, I was struggling with not posting this before today!! I am also extra hyped about this one since I too am Ace.

Red clover – "Jag vill förbli fri, som jag varit" I want to remain free, as I've been.

I suppose this might not be too relatable to all aces out there, but it fits this character to a T.

Once my hand is better, I hope to draw more NPCs and characters I like, including another Ace one!

You do not deserve to be treated badly, on the basis of who you are.

Sexual, romantic and platonic relationships are ALL social constructs. So, do what makes you the most comfortable.

No matter how you look, feel, sound, etc.: you deserve happiness and safety. Whether disabled, neurodivergent, queer, plural, mentally ill, all of the above or even none... However that joy and security may look for you (and, yes, that'll be different per individual)-- seeking them is your right.

Queer people (in and out of the closet) are a living testament to the fierce love, stubborn endurance and beautiful uniqueness of those that stood before us. So, however you currently contribute, you help the cause for liberation. Just by being yourself.
