The senior idols finally walk to the stage after being on the sidelines for 7 episodes

MNet's 'Road to Kingdom : Ace of Ace' has finally come to an end with the announcement of Cravity being the winning team, while The New Six and Tempest unfortunately did not make it to the final round despite undoubtedly impressing the audience at every turn. The round prior to this decisive one had the masters of ceremony mentoring the remaining groups and it was time for them to show why they had been given such an important role in the first place - opening the finale with a live performance of the song 'Criminal' from the first album produced by Himari.

Inkigayo in Tokyo had already set high standards for this stage as it will go down in the industry's history and the artists unsurprisingly reached those heights with ease, though this time using a slightly more sensual concept rather than playing on emotions. The new choreography created in large part by the idols had kept some of the original moves but was adjusted to challenge their very impressive bodily control, combining mesmerizing fluidity and sharpness akin to a knife - which their juniors could not stop praising in interviews.

The closing stage saw the masters of ceremony performing once more, though individually this time with the older idol choosing to sing 'Advice' while his protégée surprised viewers by using a slightly shortened version of the track 'Outlaw' from ATEEZ's album 'The World Ep.2 : Outlaw'. The choreography was of course modified by the dance crew BB TRIPPIN in order to accommodate a singular person but remained just as impressive, though what inarguably shocked fans the most was that the vocalist managed to clear both rappers' verses with ease, following them up with angelic high notes.

Netizens expressed feeling uncertainty when hearing the first notes due to the group's power coming from how they move together yet reportedly sat slack jawed in front of their screens when the maknae managed to emulate the energy of nine members alone. With this being such an impressive debut as master of ceremony for the producer it was not only the fanbase that wishes there to be more opportunities but the participating groups as well as they have spoken several times on her kindness and support throughout the show.

Flight impressions

11/16/1987. 4:04pm

We lifted off about 4 minutes ago. We soar above LA smog on flight 1895 bound from San Diego to Fresno with a stop in LA. We circle out over the Pacific. Tiny planes dart by far below. The earth hangs beneath all festooned in her riches of black, green and silver fox grey blue, like patterns in material art. It’s like watching an unreal movie. We bank. The mountains hang in their mist as if in magic—a blue sky trim harkens and harbors a peace lite halo. The feeling is above it all. 

4:11pm.  The land below coddles a lake, holds it in grip like a child in a mother’s lap.

4:14pm. I’ll try out the field glasses. Flight stewardess just passed by. Don’t think I want anything. Peanuts ok.

4:14:39.  We pass over the Tehachapi’s into the great Central Valley. The mountains caress down into the valley in a peaceful, almost seductivly sensual, sexual way. They gently feel their way neath velvet bed spread of valley’s sleep. A bright sun enters from left. A beautiful blue luster shimmers beyond. 

About 4 plane cashes in the last 24 hours. I imagine the thought flits through all 60 or so minds on board. I feel safe aloft.

4:18pm I’ll try out the field glasses. Nope, don’t seem to work too well up here.

4:22pm. A bit of turbulence!!

4:28pm. A bell chimes. We begin our diescent. I perceive a drag of the engines. Broad solid rock wall of the Sierra Nevadas to the East. White cotton clouds, blue grey mist of day adds majesty. The sun peaking in on the west.

The clouds and mist mimic the sea in their attachment to the land—they hug up and cuddle and out to sea, they swell and crest in repetition.

4:36pm. The cabin grows much darker. Fasten seat belt. We begin descent into Fresno. Here, below, we find a peace not present over LA or San Diego. The cities sit like computer chips midst a green checker board.

We are space people. We truly live on a revolving jewel. Emerald of the sky. The mountains vanish to mist.. Feeling of falling.We drop from higher realms of reality to a lower physical place. We are blinded now of strength of rock mother, but, she is there all the same. Now, the physical world reaches up to touch as time slows, speed slows,  weight and velocity alter. Weighting down, down, down, down—flaps and wheels scream.

We give up freedom of the sky for security of the earth. But, they are at different speeds and places. We have seen. We shall not un see.

Pale grey, brown. Closer, closer, closer. Cars, highway, runway and—we land! 4:42:55pm

I had been in SanDiego for a criminal law class and to visit with my sister Zoe who lived there at that time.

I googled 4 plane crashes November 1987. The one that came up was flight 1713 that crashed on take off from Denver, Colorado’s Stapleton Airport on November 15,1987.. The pilots failed to properly de ice the wings and took off at too steep a pitch. Some on board died. The cause of the crash led to changes in aviation safety rules.

“You’re telling me the magic spatula we nabbed from Crescent house gives you the ability to control minds?!” Oslo chided. 

“Confiscated. Trident. and no. It grants inner desires.” Corinth correct. 

The trident had not left his sight since he yanked it from the slimey grasp of a drunken freshman. The freshman held the artifact like it was a nerf gun and skipped around the party making laser sounds. He kept the trident on him at all times and could feel the, ever present, tremor emanating from deep within its cold metal sheath begging to be unleashed.  

“That’s so wicked.” Oslo grinned. 

“Yeah, only thing is, I don’t want it.” Corinth said. “I think I'm gonna bring it to the Dean in the morning.” 

“What?!” Oslo shrieked. 

“I mean, its contraband. We can’t have it, here, on campus and I don’t want to get in trouble--” 

“--then give it to me, bitch! I could use a few good footmen!” Oslo moaned! 

Corinth shook his head in a wicked grin. Oslo was his best friend but she was also mortal born and that always seemed to be a problem. Oslo wanted power. Corinth did not need it. 

“You know I can’t do that.” Corinth said. 

“Oh, now we care about the rules?” Oslo admoinished. 

“The ones that could make me mortal? Yeah!” Corinth shot back. 

“What’s wrong with being mortal, Cori?”  

Oslo’s somber tone burned in the center of Corinth’s chest. He lowered his eyes as he gripped the trident. The bitter taste in his mouth as a his choice rose to his mind. He, silently, awakened the anxious energies quaking inside the trident. 

“Oslo,” Corinth said. “Forget this conversation happened. Forget we confiscated it from Crescent House. Forget I told you about it.” 

His voice rang with clashing overtones and the air around them began to spark. The bright flashes intensified until the room was filled to the brim with white light. 

The bright flashes dimmed until the room was illuminated only the flickering fluorescent bulb swaying lazily in its hanging socket overhead. Corinth sat across from his empty desk chair. He gripped at the long bronze shaft of the trident as the low hum quelled and he smiled.

For the first time, I told my 11 year old daughter how I really feel about religion. My wife and I are both atheist. Me more so than her, but that’s whatever. We’ve always been tip toeing around religious topics with our daughter because we want her to be able to form her own opinions, but I tend to get a little more open than my wife, to where she gives me the look to stop, so I do. We live in a blue state and my wife is a teacher. Last night we were talking about Oklahoma and how their state superintendent is forcing religion into the school. It’s extremely frustrating to me because I’m a to each their own guy. If you want to be religious, sure. Do your thing. If it makes you feel better, fantastic. But to enforce a religion on anyone is bullshit. They want to force their Christianity on everyone, right? Catholics, Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witness, whatever they are, and of course, atheists. It’s bullshit. So I went ahead and talked all sorts of shit. Telling my wife that if they’re starting this, I gotta really explain to my kids how we feel. I dug in and made my point. Told my daughter how I really feel. Part of me feels bad because I feel like I’m taking that innocence from her, but at this point, I’d rather her educate herself against this type of shit. Should Shadow of the ErdTree be nominated for game of the year? I know it's a chunky DLC but i don't think it should have been nominated for game of the year. For one, you need to have the base game to play it. I might be wrong, but i've never seen a DLC being nominated for game of the year before. If that were the case, Phantom Liberty should definitely have been nominated last year. Is Madame OK? Madame seems to have truly flown the coop. I mean she launched her ARO, with NO PRODUCTS for sale. Who does that???????? She launched it with grainy videos of herself-reminding people of the 90s horror movies. She also launched it right before William gave his speech at the Diana awards.Madame then released the strawberry jams-again not for sale. Out of 50 jams-11 posted-LOL!!!! It was hideous with dried/rotting lemons/leaves. The jam's labels were peeling off and the people who did post -posted rather unflattering photos.Then there was the crazy Nigeria trip-where she was greeted by the owner of the airline who was charged with money laundering in the USA. One of the Kings who gave her title is barred from the US for cashing a fraudulent check-worth 100s of thousands back in the day. She dressed like a yacht girl looking to hook up with a client in a yacht -while walking a conservative Muslim school in Nigeria of all places. She also keeps releasing PR puff pieces that the Nigeria trip was a tremendous success and showed she had the Diana touch!!!!!!!!!!!Then Catherine announces she is attending the ToC and madame -predictably-released through nacho - photos of raspberry jam and dog biscuits. LOl!!!! Like what the fuck*ng hell?!!!!!!!! House Versace's Ephemeral collection marked the entrance of global ambassador, Min Himari, into the high fashion world with designs seeking to replicate the refined yet unfortunately temporary beauty of butterflies through flowing colorful fabrics and loose hanging jewelry. This rather impressive debut resulted in several designers speaking out about the artistry behind every showcased piece, one of them being Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing, and some brands have even set their sights on the young idol as a possible representative.

Fashion Week hosts the most watched showcases of the year which is why audiences were shocked that Ephemeral was premiered alongside the spring - summer collection, as it would undoubtedly occupy the spotlight due to its rather unique nature. During the last model fittings for this runway, Donatella Versace expressed wanting the project's success to reflect the unbelievable amount of work that had gone into its creation, hence letting her protégée close off the night in order to truly leave lasting impressions on attendees.

'The Hand of Midas is an accurate title for her, these designs went from mere sketches on a page to museum worthy pieces.' She said. 'The world should witness these ephemeral wonders before they sadly disappear.'

Himari's Ephemeral Collection will be available for public viewing at the Nilufar Depot, Milan from October 1st to November 3rd and the Opera Gallery of Seoul from November 12th to December 21st.
