Oscar de la Renta 'Cutout Floral Gown' - $11,990.00 $5,995.00

In my predictions post for this premiere on the TSS Patreon I selected a different dress by Oscar de la Renta (a longtime favourite designer of Taylors) and noted that my ideal styling with said gown would be a "red lip and pinned faux bob with tons of bangles and chandelier diamond earrings ... for an old Hollywood glam feel."

Needless to say, I support and love this outing.

It's dramatic and ladylike while also honouring and extending the #1989Blue precedent she set during the final stages of the U.S. 2023 leg of the Eras Tour. Dressing to a colour palette is a perfect connector and reminder to bridge both the event at hand of the concert tour movie and her most pressing upcoming record with 1989 (Taylor's Version) set to release on October 27.

All in, this is a beautiful gown and perhaps one of her best appearances ever. The elegant styling (dainty rings and eye-popping matching diamond tennis necklace and bracelet) were the perfect choices. And maybe I'm just jealous that Taylor is someone who can pull off blue eyeshadow (any other brown eyed girls who were told that blue makeup would make your eyes pop and subsequently did not look like Taylor Swift when you tried a powder blue shadow look? anyone? just me?).

Designer Fernando Garcia also noted during the Resort 2023 collection's presentation that "cut-outs have become a go-to for our customer". The ones on this gown feel like an organic nod to the spliced crop tops that were signature to the original 1989 fashion run in 2014. But here, they're more organic and integrated into the design - a natural part of fully blossoming some might say. And if you missed the subtle cut-out nod, there's always the faux bob that might double take you into believing you were back in 2014/15 and also nods to the messy, slightly undone style seen on the 1989 TV cover.

As backstory, it should surprise no one that this particular collection happened to debut on June 13, 2022 at (where else) the New York Botanical Garden.

In 2022 the first Slovene song was only at 48th place. But last year this completely changed, said the director of IPF Viljem Hribar. In the last year, Joker out's song Carpe Diem was the second most played song, put on by the radio stations.

The IPF award for the most played Slovene song in 2023 was handed to the boys of Joker Out, who were not present at the event as they are recording a new album abroad, through their representative. They also received the award for the producer of this piece, as they self-published Carpe Diem.

The award for the overall most played domestic performer in the past year was again given to Nina Pušlar. Her song 'Malo, malo' came tenth in the final count. 'Nina, Nina, Nina' also made it to the top 100. Similarly, Žan Serčič also had two songs in the top 100: 'Pusti mi spomin' which came 35th and also 'Pijan od ljubezni' which was 67th. "God, I swear it was the worst weeks ever." The girl confessed, although it was common to be apart for a long time since her work did not allow her to follow him most of the time. "I've missed you so much, Lan. So much."

Grabbing her gently by the sides of her neck, the driver looked straight into her bright, tired eyes. "Me too, baby. But now we have two weeks to ourselves."

For a moment everything fell into place. But it was only a matter of time before it all came crashing down again.

I still feel super tired from the flight, so I'm going to stay in bed a little longer." Lando set his phone back on the bedside table and, running a hand over the top of her head as an act of apology, continued. "I hope you don't mind, love. It's just for today."

It's just for today, he said.

The next day, still under the wave of happiness, Y/N tried her luck again and decided to approach her boyfriend again to make plans, now that he was already feeling more energetic and recharged.

Lando spent the morning jumping around the house, so when Y/N saw him walk back into the room, she dropped to her knees in her seat, turned around and leaned on the back of the couch.

"Lan, what if we went out to dinner at that Thai place we went to last month?" She asked, her head turning slightly as she remembered their meal. "I swear I'm still thinking about that Pad Thai."

Lando continued his way to the kitchen, opening the fridge to get some water. "Hmm, maybe another time. Don't feel like going out."

And with only a few words, he disappeared again into another room of the house.

On day 3, the girl was caught off guard when she saw her boyfriend with a backpack on his back and his hand on the doorknob.

"Hey, where are you going?" She questioned, curious.

"Just going to the gym with Carlos." He replied, eyes on the phone in his other hand.

"I thought you were tired." She blurted out. At that moment, the persistent girl decided to be direct and confront him. "Is there something wrong? You've been so distant lately."

She had barely seen him even though the two of them shared the same house. It was getting embarrassing how much she tried to engage in conversation with him, only to get rejected every single time.

The driver just spat out a string of words, including 'busy with business' and 'training', but nothing soothed the uneasiness she felt in the pit of her stomach.

Her eyes ended up dark and smoky, perfectly adorning the determined and vengeful look on her face.

Grabbing her small Prada bag, Y/N walked to the room where Lando was already streaming, catching the driver's attention.

"Hey, I'm already live." He warned her, as he turned to see his girlfriend. Laying his eyes on his girlfriend all dressed up, a nervous shiver ran down his spine. "Where are you going looking all polished up?"

"Don't wait for me for dinner," She answered coldly, even though she knew the people in the comments were going to have a field day with this. "And by the way, I'm going out tonight."

"What the fuck were you thinking?!" He shouted over the music, unconcerned by prying ears. "First you make me look like an idiot on stream, then I find out you're alone in a club doing who knows what. Are you all right in the head, Y/N?!"

"You're worried now, are you?" The girl laughed sarcastically. "That's fucking rich."

"You have to be fucking kidding me. It has to be." Lando ran his restless hands through his hair nervously. "All because I didn't want to see a movie with you today? That's it?"

"Today, of course. The problem is from today." She continued her ironic tone. "You know what, Lando? It's about time you realized that just because I made you my world doesn't mean I can't claim the land."

Lando was shocked by her confrontational words, as it was a side she rarely showed.

Out of nowhere, a man approached the couple. "Hey, is everything okay here? Do you need some help, babe?" He asked her.

Y/N recognized him as the vocalist of the band that was performing when she first arrived at the scene.

Even though she was uninterested in the man's suggestive proposition, she couldn't pass up an opportunity to entice the driver. "I don't remember."

"She has a fucking man, now get the fuck off." Lando spoke out aggressively, having no patience left for her foolishness.

Eyes to the floor in embarrassment, the driver gently grabbed her hand. "You're right, I'm so sorry, love."

"You're right, I've been an absolute prick to you lately," The boy looked into her eyes, his gaze filled with regret and sorrow. "Those last three weeks weren't just bad because I was away from you. It was bad news after bad news and I just ended up taking it out on you unfairly."

"Lan, you know you can talk to me about anything." She softened and stroked his hand. "What's wrong?"

"Everything, honestly." He sighed, saddened. "The car is shit most of the time, I can't seem to get out of 7th place ever, Danny is leaving the team next season and, as if it couldn't get any worse, I spent all weekend getting asked about it like I had some power over the matter."

Y/N knew her partner was feeling especially down over losing yet again another teammate he really cared about, so Lando's anguish came as no surprise.

"I'm sorry, Y/N, really." Lando apologized again. "You didn't deserve all of this."

"Baby, I'm here for you. Always. Through thick and thin." Y/N brought her lips to his, letting her hands grip his curly hair as she leaned into his kiss. "Let's have some fun, dance a little, and make up for lost time, what do you think?"

"Lead the way, gorgeous." Lando kissed her again before she led him to the centre of the floor.

Gathered in their bubble of love again, Y/N, who once shone like a jewel, now shone like a true diamond with the light of her life reflecting on her side.

OKAY since i’ve an exam in less than 10 hours and as of now i do not possess the mental capacity to fully develop it as a story (or even make it make sense) here you have a MATTDRAI time loop/soulmates au idea (that probably doesn’t make much sense and could be written much better) inspired by THE handshake™️ and Florida!!! by Taylor Swift:

for our noble purpose (mattdrai) in this world people realise they are soulmates after getting to know each other long enough for a connection to happen, strangers can’t be bonded together as strong feelings need to be involved in the bonding process, sometimes the bond manifest in few months other times it takes years. so long story short even if they have been fooling around for ages it’s only during the 2022 BoA playoff series that Leon and Matthew get bonded and realise they are soulmates, they both silently agree to not acknowledge it until after their respective playoffs are over, or so Leon thought…of course this doesn’t happen :) and Matt disappears and ghosts Leon that has to discover from a social media post that his supposed soulmate got himself traded as far as possible while also remaining in the nhl (at least they are in the same continent) from him, at this point all leon’s thoughts about making it work get thrown out of the window bc fuck it even someone like him can understand the message tkachuk wanted to deliver with the trade.

fast forward to the present where it’s game 7 of the Stanley cup finals (strong emotions are very much involved!!!) and this time it’s matthew’s team the one winning, during the handshake line they barely interact, but the bond is still there, uncomfortable and never spoken of, Leon disappears in the locker room with his teammates to lick his wounds in peace and Matthew proceeds to celebrate with his team all night and almost all the day after he goes to bed with the intention of sleeping few hours to start partying all over again, life goes is supposed to go on; or so they thought but soul bonds cannot be left unattended for so long without consequences (oh you don’t wanna talk about it? fine, the universe will make you anyway :):) ) and that’s why Leon wakes up once again in so much pain seated on the bus going to the arena and he has to play in game 7 of the final again and again and again; the rough part is that he never wins (later he will realise that it’s not the point of the loop so he cannot change it no matter how much he tries to) [note: Leon is sooooo going to therapy after the loop breaks] but that doesn’t stop him from trying over and over again; for a while he thinks the right answer to break the loop is to win the cup after a while he realises that while that is untrue somehow it’s still connected to the game; he is also convinced that no one else is stuck with him because there are no hints about it thats until the tenth/twentieth/ who knows loop (?) when Matthew happens to change the established pattern and during the handshake, instead of ignoring him, he stops to talk and there he is referencing something happened during a previous loop and Leon is so surprised and angry about it because his soulmate is looping too but instead of reliving one of his worst day ever he is reliving what is probably the best one, and it’s not fair, also he is pissed because of course matthew spent all the loops until this one winning and basking in the glory of it all instead of informing leon. So leon looses it in front of everyone and it’s only because someone holds him tight from the back that tkachuk doesn’t get murdered right there; whatever explanation tkachuk tries to give, he doesn’t want to listen to it, he is done.

if you were to be honest, you saw your breakup with sunoo coming way before it happened. 

you guys met in the summer of 2022 during summer school, you both were studying geometry, both of your parents wanting you to be a couple math levels ahead. you guys instantly clicked – you were drawn to his positive aura, and he felt comforted by your calmness. 

what led to your relationships’ must’ve been the uncomfortable feeling of vulnerability between you two. both of you guys had facades to hold up at school and in front of your friends, and somehow as you two hung out more and more, the facade began to crumble. 

sunoo despised it. whenever he wasn’t smiling, people immediately assumed something was wrong. in order for people to stop constantly bothering him, he decided to have a smile on his face all the time. the only time he could relax his face was in the comfort of his own room. somehow, you caught onto him. you knew whenever something was wrong with him. it made him angry how good you could read him. he realized that the more time he spent around you, the more weak he became. you made him weak. 

so sunoo did what he thought was best – push you away. it started with subtle signs, such as replying your texts later and later, and then soon just leaving you on delivered. he didn’t answer your calls, although he was itching to. he saw how your face fell everytime you tried to talk to him and he just dismissed you. 

one day, you just couldn’t take it anymore. 

sunoo, what the hell is going on with you? you screamed, your voice echoing off the walls of the room. anger coursed through your veins, fueled by the frustration of not understanding what had gone wrong between you.

 what happened to us? was left unsaid.

he had never heard or seen you this angry before. he was the reason for your frustration, your restless eyes and the constant creases between your eyebrows. 

let’s break up, he said quietly. 

you looked at him, trying to blink the tears away. you were confused, sad, but most of all– you were angry. you were angry at him, angry at yourself for allowing things to spiral out of control, for ignoring the signs that had been staring you in the face all along. you looked at him, searching for some semblance of the man you had fallen in love with, but all you saw was an emotionless stranger staring back at you. and in that moment, you knew that it was over, that there was no going back to the way things used to be.

suddenly, you’re brought back to the present by something wet falling down your cheeks. your hand immediately goes up to your face to wipe the liquid away, when you realize it’s your own tears.

you nod silently, and before you could say anything, the bell rings and you and your friend run hand in hand back to your class. 

if you stayed for just another minute, perhaps you would’ve noticed sunoo staring at you. but you and sunoo don't talk anymore, and the distance between you feels like an insurmountable chasm, impossible to bridge.

After the ending of filming of Scream 5 on 2020 and the many delays due to the pandemic and the different variants of the virus, the film was already out which gained a good reception, and the sixth one was green lighted to film, you and your dad traveled to Montreal (due to both of you being on the movie) to reunite with the cast and meet the new additions of the cast

Arriving at the hotel where the rest of the crew will be staying, you and your dad left your luggage in your asigned room before going to the terrace where everyone will be there

"Don't you think is funny that they are going to let us stay during the whole filming even though we're only going to appear for a few minutes?", you asked your dad while walking to the terrace

"It's a bit funny, but it would be better than be her only for a day", Skeet pointed, "We get to hang out with everyone, and you are now free of doing homework"

"So this would be my graduation trip?", you joked, "With people who are a bit older than me, and some even married?"

"Yeah!", Skeet exclaimed, "We could call your friends and invite them to come here and hang out, and maybe there's going to be someone your age, remember that are some new actors"

"Dad, Sarah, Abby, Scott and Noah are already on college or doing what they wanted", you replied, "And maybe you're right, besides, I haven't seen who the new actors are, I was kinda focused on the fact that aunt Neve isn't going to be here"

"It's going to be difficult to have a movie without her, but she made a good decision by rejecting a payment that isn't worth her value", Skeet pointed, "That's a lesson I want you and your siblings to have no matter what you do in your future, understood?"

Nodding in response, both of you continued to walk until the door to the terrace was seen, which both of you crossed seeing the whole cast in the lounge area

"There's the freshly graduated!", Melissa exclaimed the moment both of you enter her camp of vision

"Half fictional sister!", you exclaimed running to hug her, "I missed you"

"I missed you too", Melissa replied, "Congratulations on the graduation and the campaign with H&M"

"Thank you, also congratulations on the Clinique ambassador"

After saying a general hi, and seeing how there wasn't any apparent seats because your dad took the only one left, you stood akwardly in the middle of the lounge

"There's a space next to Jack", Melissa said pointing behind you

Turning around, you saw a curly haired (and cute) boy smiling and waving at you, at what you walked there to sit next to him while he made more space for you to not be too thight

After knowing Jack more after that first night and the first week of filming which started with the Halloween party (in which you had a small interaction with Jack and Mason's characters), yours and Jack so awaited date was on saturday (in which both of your parents were going to be there but giving you space)

"Maybe", you admited, "Do you think the black Prada nylon purse is too much?"

"That's a cute bag, goes good with the outfit"

After being ready and taking your purse and 'folklore' cardigan, both of you went down to the hotel lobby where Jack and his mom, Anna, were waiting for you

"They're here", Anna said to Jack brushing his hair a little, "She looks beautiful"

A few minutes later, the four of you started the way towards La Ronde, which was the most popular amusement park in the city

Arriving there, both of you entered the park with your parents following a few metters behind

"I like your cardigan", Jack said pointing at the piece of clothing in your arms

"Thanks", you smiled, "It's from Taylor Swift's album 'folklore', she has a song in that album named 'Cardigan' and she had them on the website"

"So, you like Taylor?"

"I love her, she's one of my favorite artist, she has amazing songs and the fact she always rises up whenever someone or something tries to drag her down is inspiring"

"In that case, what's your favorite album of her?"

"Reputation, followed close by Speak Now and folklore, so, what's your type of music?"

"Like angry hip hop, Meek Mill is awesome and Drake's old music, and basically every kind"

"I've heard some Drake songs, but nothing of Meek Mill"

"I could send you some of his songs, what do you think?"

"Sounds good, and I could send you some of Taylor"

"I love the idea"

Walking around the place and talking, both of you stopped in a game of knocking down silly clowns

"Which one do you want?", Jack asked refering to the stuffed animals

Seeing the display of toys, a red plushie caught your eyes, "The red dragon is cute"

Paying to play the game, Jack started to throw the balls towards the silly clowns until the time was over

"Nice arm", you smirked while the employee went to get the prize

"It's what happens when you live in Pandora for four years", Jack joked making you laugh, slightly interrupting the moment, the employee gave Jack the red plushie, at what he knelt like he was a knight with the red dragon in front of you, "Will this gorgeous princess accept this dragon as a gift?"

"I'll gladly do it", you laughed taking the plushie from his hands, "And fun fact, people calls me 'ghostface princess' or 'serpent princess' because of Scream and Riverdale"

"In the Avatar future movies, people call my character 'monkey boy'"

"I like it"

Continuing with the date, both of you went to some rides like the Disco Ronde, La Grande Envolée, Orbite, Bateau Pirate, Condor and Vol Ultimate (in which most of them both of you held hands), eating some snacks and playing in a game of jungle climb where none of you won but it was fun

(A/N: yes, I did search what rides are in the park)

Taking a moment to have dinner, which were corndogs, sodas and an ice cream from the food stands, both of you sat in a small picnic table while discussing which attraction was next and last because it was getting late

"I think we should go to the Boomerang", you thought while sharing a cotton candy ice ream

"Let me guess, to leave with a gold brooch", Jack smiled

"Yeah", you laughed, "What do you think?"

"I think it's an awesome idea"

Finishing the ice cream and throwing the empty vase on the trash, both of you went to your parents, who were sitting in a bench a few metters behind to let them know

"Hey, we're going to the Boomerang", Jack announced

"Are you sure?", Anna asked with concern

"Yeah", you nodded giving Skeet your purse, cardigan and plushie

"Guys, you just ate", Skeet pointed

"We're going to be good", Jack insisted while you put your hair in a low ponytail

"There's a bit of line, so the food will be digested by the time it starts", you shrudded

Assuring them once again that both of you will be fine, you left towards the ride with Jack's arm over your shoulders and yours circling his waist

"We should start searching for a trash can", Anna said, "Just in case"

Looking around, Skeet noticed a trash can not so far from the bench, which he was quick to get closer to the bench

At the line for the roller coaster, it wasn't a lot of time of waiting before it was your turn, ending up seating in the first line of the fourth cart

After the coaster staff secured your seatbelts and the ride started at what you started to feel a little nervous, something Jack noticed which made him take your hand in an attempt to calm you at what you hold him tighter

Noticing why the name of the ride was 'Boomerang' because of his fast speed, curves and turns, both of you spend most part of the ride trying not to scream and holding each other

After it ended and you were free of the seatbelts, both of you practically sprinted towards the closest trash can to start throwing up, feeling a few seconds later how your parents aproached to you see if both of you were okay, finishing vomiting a few minutes later

Making sure that the puking was done, they led you to the bench they were sat before going to get some water

Getting some kleenex from your purse and giving one to Jack so he can clean and do the same, both of you started laughing

"I really had fun", you said when the laughs were over, "We should do this again"

"Seriously?", Jack asked with a bit of surprise

"Yeah, I mean, except for the vomiting part"

"I also had fun with you"

Still smiling, you got a little closer to him to put your head on his shoulder at what he put his head on top of yours

Hello hello! Fellow AMC IWTV fans I need your help. Some of you may know this, but in 2022, after the show came out, I planned fanfiction series' for the show, based on songs from Taylor Swift's album Midnights.

Now, I have completed one series already - Anti-hero, linked here - and I'm 3 fics away from completeing the current series - Mastermind, linked here.

Now, I need your help deciding which series I should do next. A short description of the series is below the poll!

DETAILS BELOW:

The Great War - Loustat, Louis & Lestat centric fics that are mainly angst, set during both seasons and post s2. Also 2 AU/canon divergent fics that take episode 5 in different directions, with one consisting of 4 fics.

Karma - A series exploring 'karma' - how past actions bring about present situations for all the characters, primarily Louis and Lestat. Set during series 1 and 2, with some fics being post series 2.

Bejeweled - Primarily Loustat angst with a couple being more hurt/comfort, set mainly during the course of both seasons, with the last one being an extended version of their season 2 reunion.

Midnight Rain - Armandaniel (Armand x Daniel) centric fics, primarily focusing on their relationship before the series, in the 'Devil's Minion' era, and the last few focusing on them post s2.

Would've, Could've, Should've - Louis centric fics, mainly taking place throughout the seasons 1 and 2 and post s2 finale (canon divergence), heavily self-reflective.

You're On Your Own, Kid - Claudia centric fics, taking place primarily in season 1, but also in season 2 (drawing some parallels); mainly her thoughts on what she sees and feels.

Paris - Loustat & Armandaniel fics mainly focusing on loving and fluffy times between the two couples, both pre & post seasons, with links to Queen Of The Damned (what I imagine it may be like in the show) in most fics; also bookended with the four main characters being in each other's company.

High Infidelity - A series exploring the complex relationships between Lestat, Louis, Armand and Daniel, focusing on the 'infidelity' between all of them (as well as Daniel's wives & Antoinette) and how their relationships have changed and developed with each other over time.

Maroon - A Loustat series set over both seasons, and also post s2; mainly angst and hurt/comfort fics. Focusing on their romance and how it changes and develops overtime.

Lavender Haze - A Loustat series focusing on how others percieve them, judge them and try and keep them apart.

november of 2022 for most people could mean nothing. I mean it's just a month. not for y/n. the month of november 2022 was the month she went though the great war of trying to get taylor swift: the eras tour tickets and failed.

matthew sturniolo knew his best friend was a huge swiftie sense he could remember. she had gotten y/n through the best and worst times of her 19 years of life. through her best friend breakups, birthdays, friendships, and more. so when he heard that scarlet wasn't able to get eras tour tickets he was crushed.

taylor swift concerts were their thing. when y/n got her first concert tickets for the speak now world tour she couldn't be more happier. the friend that she was going to bring originally belled on her last minute so she wouldn't have anyone to go with (she said she refused to go with just her mom) matt came over that day hoping to see his best friend jumping for joy that her concert was that night however he soon came to find out that she was in fact in her room sobbing her eyes out not being able to go.

long story short matt offered to go with her. he couldn't let his best friend go alone. soon then on they went to every concert that they could together whether is was some concert y/n's mom dragged her to or it was taylor swifts: reputation stadium tour, he was always there.

matt knew deep down he had very hidden feelings for the girl so going to a concert with his best friend was not a huge deal even if his brothers teased him about it to this day.

and years later he knew he had to get her those tickets whatever it took.

he spent weeks if not months trying to scrounge up some tickets for them eventually he was able to get some.

in may for nashville. he decided to surprise her for her birthday with the tickets that he had gotten.

on the days leading up to her birthday y/n tried to find the happiness of not being able to get taylor swift tickets. normally she wouldn't be this salty about not getting tickets but it was never this hard to get them before. why was her ticket given to some 13 year old girl who had only heard of her popular songs?

y/n tried not to be petty she really did but it was more difficult then not.

matt always knew how to cheer her up though. with their song. sparks fly.

when they first heard this at the speak now tour back in 2011 they both decided that night that it would be their song. they have kept to their word years later always playing it when their in the car alone or they need to cheer one another up, it was always something they loved.

and even though the song did cheer her up a little bit. she was still unfortunately petty.

it was now january 27th and y/n's birthday was just mere hours away.

she woke up to the smell of pancakes coming from the kitchen

her favorite.

she walked into the kitchen with excitement

"hi boys" she greeted

nick and chris just grumbled in response. matt however greeted his best friend as well.

"hey my beautiful best friend" matt flirted

it wasn't abnormal for them to flirt with each other but it was different today it was like matt had actually meant it.

what y/n didn't know is he did mean it. every single word. he just wished that the best friend part wasn't there.

y/n just shrugged it off as he was probably just being extra friendly cause it was her birthday.

y/n took a seat at the table and began eating her pancakes in peace.

it had been a little while later when they were all gathered around the coffee table in the middle of the sturniolo's living room. y/n had just gotten done opening her present from chris which was a new perfume that she had been looking at.

"chris! this is the best thing ever!" y/n exclaimed going to give the longer haired boy a hug.

next was nick's present. she had opened it in anticipation ready to see what he had gotten her.

it was a folklore vinal and some jewlery.

"oh my god! thank you nick" nick hugged his best friend

next was matts. he was nervous for y/n to see what he had gotten. he got up from his spot on the couch making his brothers and best friend confused. he went to his room and grabbed two envelopes.

chris and nick looked at his brothers hand confused. why would matt of all people give his favorite person and the girl he had a crush on some cards?

"what is this" y/n asked

"just open it you'll see" matt told her a smile growing rapidly on his face.

she did just that. he had placed the envelopes in order of which she need to open them. she ripped the top one open revealing a note:

dear my favorite person ever,

I love you so much, and with it being your birthday I thought I would give you something that would mean more to you then anything else. happy birthday beautiful.

y/n read the note with sincerity in her eyes

"thank you matt" y/n smiled

"okay now open your other one" matt exclaimed waiting impatiently for her reaction

she opened the second envelope nervously she had no clue what it could be.

she saw some papers and grabbed them taking a look at what she had gotten from the boy.

she read it carefully making sure to read every little detail.

"oh my god" with that she bursted into tears.

matt had gotten her tickets to the eras tour.

chirs and nick who still looked confused asking her what she got

with shaky hands she showed them the two tickets.

"you did not!" nick jumped up

"yeah and I'm going with her" matt proudly said

y/n ran up to him and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"thank you so fucking much" she whispered through tears

once she had calmed down matt made a comment

"well I guess I won in the present category" matt smugly said

"oh shut up" Chris rolled his eyes

y/n pushed her face more into matts chest. she couldn't wait to go to the eras tour with her favorite person.

Exclusive: Part Two From The Excerpts of Daniel Ricciardo’s Autobiography.

The Perth News, July 2035.

The former Formula One Champion talks about his wife, his family, and gives insights into his personal life like never before.

I know that everyone who reads this is more interested in my life and racing than in me praising my wife, but here’s the thing. She is my life. Her and our kids are my entire universe.

I’ve done some of the coolest things possible in my life. I’ve spent most of my adult life racing, I’ve driven the fastest cars in the world. I’ve sat into the ones that my heroes drove and driven them around the same racetracks they did. I went to hell and clawed my way back with Emma at my side and won a championship, but I can tell you that I’ve never felt as happy as the day I got to hold my kids for the first time. I’ve never been as proud as the day my wife brought our kids into the world and our family got a little bit bigger. But that’s a story for later. I’m going to tell you all about how much I love my kids in a few chapters, but before I do I need you to understand that they’re as amazing as their mother.

As I’ve been told countless times, everyone knows that we love each other. We’re the parents who are always holding hands at the school events, the ones that Lulu cringes about and tells her friends that “mama and dad keep kissing”. But the world doesn’t know everything that Em has done. They don’t know the things she’s sacrificed for me - her privacy, her solitude, her ability to walk down the street alone. That’s why I need to tell the world how wonderful she is. That’s why there’s some things you should know about my wife.

She is the coolest. Nobody in the world is as cool as her, not even me. She doesn’t believe in God, but she does believe in the power of Taylor Swift to solve world problems. She loves art, history, museums, and castles. And she brings me to a new one no matter where we are in the world. She loves crime shows and knows so much about true crime it’s almost scary. She can tell you which episode of Criminal Minds you’re watching from a single frame, and I can confirm that Penny wasn’t named after Penelope Garcia, but we did think about doing that.

She loves shiny things and Legos, and still says her best Christmas present was a Lego flower set we spent Christmas 2020 making together. She’d rather eat homemade food than dine at a Michelin Star restaurant, and she’s the sole reason we don’t have breakfast for dinner every day. She is the sweetest, strongest, most loving woman in the world. She is the most patient person I know. When we became parents we promised we wouldn’t yell at our kids, and our kids have never heard her raise her voice in anger. I know they never will.

She’s so smart and bright and I call her a genius at least once a day because it’s true. I wasn't going to mention this because it's not my place to say, but Em said I can. She's autistic. We found out after we got married, and a lot of things just slipped into place about her and our relationship. It's not a bad thing. It's not a negative. Her brain just works differently to mine, and she sees things I never would. It's one of the things I love her for, not in spite of it. But it's part of why the rumours and crap said about her hurt so much. Her brain picks up the patterns that everyone else misses and without her I would have been completely blindsided in Hungary in 2022. She was the first one to realise there was a chance for a seat in 2023.

She’s loyal beyond comprehension. She will never spill a secret if you ask her to keep it. She lights up a room as soon as she walks in. She’s so funny it’s unbelievable even though she insists she’s not. She gives the best hugs (as voted by our family) and kisses (as voted by me) in the world. She loves crocheting things and used to travel around the world with yarn and her hooks to make stuffed animals. Each one of our kids has a blanket that she made, and she made one big enough for me.

Every single thing she’s achieved in life is because she worked so fucking hard for it. Em has built herself up from the ashes more times than any person should, and more times than anyone I know could. She rebuilt us and me brick by brick when any other person would have walked away and nobody would have blamed them. And then she’s the reason we built up our family of five and she’s the one who keeps our family going. She’s the heart and soul of this family. She loves being a mum, and she was made to be one. She loves our kids - and somehow me because I’m a lucky, lucky man - more than anything or anyone in the world. She deserves everything in this world and the day we got together I made it my job to make it possible.

She’s the sweetest woman in the world and she couldn’t hurt a fly even if she tried. She’s selfless to a painful degree and trying to explain she can be selfish felt impossible. She still isn’t. She’s the kind of person who remembers everyone’s birthdays and has cards and a cake. She asks how everyone is because she really worries. She’ll stay sitting listening to you ramble for hours, even if it’s about things that she has no interest in or doesn’t understand because she knows it means something to you. She let me talk about wine, I made it my mission to create one that she’d drink and I did it.

Emma Ricciardo is the woman who puts everyone else first. She’s been willing to do things that make her life worse in so many ways because she thinks it’ll be easier for other people. She puts her wants and needs behind everyone else’s, and no matter what she still does. It’s just one of the reasons I always put her first in life because she won’t put herself first. You know the thing on flights, put your own mask on before helping others? Emmy doesn’t do that. She helps everyone else first.

She makes the hard days easier. During the worst time in our lives when I could barely get out of bed to go to work she was the one who made the noise go away. She’d wrap me in her arms because it was the one place I felt I wasn’t tearing myself apart. She drove me to and from the McLaren MTC and waited around Woking for me because she knew I needed her. She’s the only person who could ever quiet that overactive, anxious voice in my head. She still is.

And on top of that she’s fucking gorgeous. I know I’m biased, but have you seen her? She’s beautiful inside and out and Milo is so lucky he looks like his Mama. Don’t get me wrong, our girls are beautiful because they look like me but Milo got to take after Em and I love that we have her mini me too. She’s this tiny little British crazy woman who can verbally kick anyone’s ass but smiles like a child when songs she likes come on the radio. She grins at me and I forget what I was saying. I can’t count how many times I forgot what I was talking about during an interview in the paddock. I know there’s YouTube compilations of me losing my train of thought, and I can confirm any of them after mid 2018 were because I saw her.

I can’t count the amount of times my brain went blank and I stopped listening to whatever anyone was asking me, simply because I saw her passing by. She would walk anywhere in my eyesight with Blake and Michael and I could recognise her no matter how far away she was. And then my brain turned into a mess of rainbows, hearts, and glitter. That’s how terribly in love with her I am. She grins and her nose wrinkles and I remember seeing her in that kitchen and wanting to kiss her. It’s how she got her instagram username, I started calling her Wrinkles that night.

I seriously don’t know how I got so lucky. I’ve tried working out how but in the nearly twenty years since we met I still don’t know. Somehow the strongest and most beautiful woman in the world agreed to marry me and call me her husband and let me call her my wife and my baby mama, and I still don’t understand it. She loves me and more than that she likes me, and how cool is that?

I could go on for this entire book to talk about all the things I love about her but I’ll keep most of that to myself to get to the point. There’s a really small circle of people who are lucky to be liked by her. You should feel lucky if Emmy calls you her friend. But there’s this even tinier circle of people who Em actually loves, and if you’re in that one you can call yourself a blessed cunt. If you’re in that very closed circle you know exactly what I’m talking about, and you also know that there’s absolutely nothing that woman won’t do to protect the people she loves.

When I tell you that, what I really mean is she will become lethal. If you mess with the people who she loves, Em turns into a different person who will rain destruction on you. I always say that she turns into Mama Badger, and she calls me a silly and kisses my nose, but it’s true. It’s very rare and I’ve seen it a few times since I met her, but the worst was the last time she publicly turned into Mama Badger. Why?

Because she gets mad when you mess with anyone in that very small circle of people she loves. But guess what happens when someone messes with and publicly betrays the one she loves the most in the world?
