Aaron Gordon is an NBA basketball player and he is known to be one of if not the best dunkers in NBA. He came close to winning the dunk contest twice one being in 2016 and 2020. So, the thing is that in 2020, he clearly won the dunk contest in most people's opinion including mine and still ended up loosing the competition. Dwayne Wade was one of the three judges who gave him a 9/10 in the last round which cost him the trophy. Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxTDxHqLqpI Aaron for some reason decided to target Dwayne Wade and released a video 9 out of 10 trolling Wade with his wine brand. Later on, Gordon joined Wade in an Instagram video chat and they sorted things out. Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7asd0hkAjg4 Fast forward to 2021, Aaron Gordon took the number 50 as his jersey number and he was asked by D Wade as to why he was wearing it, to which he replied that it was a number that he felt was powerful for him. These may seem alot but the lists goes on and on, Lebron is ranked top 2 on "75 NBA players of all time just behind jordan, but lets talk about where this all started.
A young LeBron James was locally known as a basketball prodigy ever since in elementary school, he was named Ohio's Mr. Baskrtball (hs player of the year) three times while leading Akrons St. Vincent Mary High School to three state championships in his four years on the team. He was a national media sensation in his young year after showing up on Sports Illustrated where he was named by the magazine as "The Chosen One." In 2003 he was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the first overall in 2003 NBA draft, and he would sign a $90 million contract with Nike shoe company. As he started in Cleveland Caveliers alot of pressure went on by him, but he didnt get affected by it and he lead the team in scoring, steals and minutes played over 2003-04 season, and winning ROTY (rookie of the year) In 2004-2005 he became a starting forward on the Eastern Conference All Star Team, in 2006-2007 LeBron James led Cleveland to the NBA finals, the cavaliers were swept by the San Antonio Spurs but James postswason led many observers to place him in the very best players in the league. He held the NBA in scoring in 2007-2008 season and earned first team ALL NBA honours, in 2008-2009 he achieved the leagues MVP following the season he averaged nearly 30PPG and named MVP again. In 2009-2010 he went to the Miami Heat which had D Wade and Bosh, he helped miami reach the finals but lost to the Dallas Mavericks, in 2011-2012 he averaged 27.1 PPG and won his third mvp, this time he defeated OKC Thunder and won the championship and reigned as the finals MVP, in 2012-2013 he averaged 26.8 PPG, 7.3 APG and a career high 8 RPG while posting .565 field goal percentage. The heat went in the finals again, Lebron rematching with the spurs but they lost again in the five game series. In 2014 he went back to the cavs and faced the greatest threats at his time, the Golden State Warriors, theyre dynasty was starting with the players, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins, LeBron averaged 35.8 PPG, 13.3 RPG and 8.8 APG but managed to lose to the Dynasty. In 2015-16 in the finals, Cleveland and Warriors face again, Warriors needed one win left to win the championship since it was 3-1 but LeBron overturned it and made it 3-4 Lebron won the championship. After doing that LeBron currently staying in the Los Angeles Lakers, he won another championship.

How to Do Basketball Dunk by Increase Your Vertical Jump
Dunking a basketball is a ability some gamers consider provided. If you are 6-foot-6 and can jump via the roof covering of the gym, you probably aren't mosting likely to benefit much from this article. On the other hand, if you are under 6-foot and have always wished to toss one down, there is no factor you can not pursue this objective. Maybe you can get hold of the rim on a good day, or perhaps you're truly close however not quite there. There are things you can do improve your capacity to dunk, and your hard work will most definitely have rewards. In fact, that was me back in high school. At 5-foot-10 I functioned as well as functioned till I had the ability to get the ball over the rim. In this write-up, I'll share some of what I discovered. As a bonus, the exact same drills you do to learn just how to dunk a basketball will certainly make you a far better all-around professional athlete. That's actually the point here, right? So allow's get to it! Stamina training is the number-one way to condition your body so you can be extra effective and jump greater. If you wish to dunk a basketball but don't quite have the ups for it, a excellent strength program may be all you require to place you over the top. But there are a few various other things you can do to boost your upright jump. Skipping rope is a great well-rounded workout for basketball players, and also for the majority of athletes. It helps you establish fast feet and dexterity, as well as certainly, is exceptional for cardio conditioning. It likewise helps to enhance your upright jump. Once you get proficient at it, you can mix it up with double-skip dives, one-legged dives, as well as various other variations. The consistent rep of jumping will certainly have your calf bones shouting, especially if you do your rope skipping after a hard strength-training workout. Rope skipping is additionally a really basic kind of a kind of exercise called plyometrics. Plyometric workouts involve repetitive explosive activities, such as lifting as well as down or capturing and tossing a conditioning ball. The suggestion is to carry out the motion with as little downtime as possible in between reps. This, essentially, trains muscles to be powerful as well as explosive, and utilize the kinetic energy inherent in sports motions in one of the most reliable method. In avoiding rope this means repetitive short hops, but there are numerous far more innovative plyometric workouts. These include box jumps, where the professional athlete leaps back and forth over a box or hurdle of a particular elevation, and also depth leaps where an athlete starts on an elevated platform as well as drops to the floor, after that rapidly leaps back onto the platform. Like strength training, a plyometric program should just be taken on after the advice of a expert trainer or fitness instructor. Lots of stamina coaches suggest an professional athlete have the ability to squat 1.5 times their own weight prior to engaging in such exercises as a result of the chance of injury. As soon as you can stand up and also slam dunk a basketball you're actually mosting likely to be feeling your oats, however there are few points to consider if you wish to avoid injury and also humiliation: 1) Be careful where you dunk: Relying on where you play, the rim itself may be a mess. You can really tear your hand open on a rusted edge that's badly maintained. 2) Secure your ankles as well as knees: For us people under 6-foot, the method down is no little autumn. Remain under control, specifically if you are around other gamers. Busting up your ankle joint or knee will spoil your period in a hurry. 3) Do not exercise dunks on portable goals: Unless you want to wind up in the hospital, and/or go viral on YouTube. Those points are prone to toppling if you put weight on the edge, bring about injuries. 4) Do not get hold of the edge without good reason: Holding on the edge is lawful in a game only if you are doing it to secure yourself or various other gamers. Or else, you will certainly get a technological nasty for imitating an idiot. It's likewise hazardous if done incorrectly. You could shed your balance as well as wind up flat on your back. Soaking a basketball is a great deal of enjoyable, and for a lot of us, that is really the only factor to do it. Specifically when you are a much shorter player, it is cool to see the view on the large guys' faces when you do something you really ought not to be able to do. But allow's be practical below: If you wish to be a good basketball player, there are lots of, several skills that are more important to hang out on. For the majority of us, the capacity to dunk is an irrelevant part of our game. In fact, if you are a extremely brief player and can barely reach the internet when you leap you must possibly place the desire for dunking the round out of your mind. It is far better to hang around working on your layups and ball-handling skills. You can still lift weights as well as do all the other things to enhance your vertical jump, and also you can still be a really reliable gamer. Should you try to dunk in a game? If you are confident in your ability, or if the game is escape of hand, go all out! However, if the game is close and you have the option between making a layup or going with the dunk, you would certainly much better be a team player as well as obtain the sure factors. So, good luck transforming on your own right into a backboard-shattering dunking equipment, even if you are under 6-foot. Find out more about Basketball Dunk.

An homage to the man who saved the Slam Dunk Contest.
Long-gone were the days when the league’s ‘A-List’ stars competed in the exhibition. With the starpower gone, the contest had been reserved for end of the bench players and young highflyers looking to make a name for themselves. Performing unoriginal dunks and leaving no lasting memories for the fans. And for the two years prior to 2000, the contest had been left for dead - being replaced by the WNBA-NBA 2Ball Contest in ‘98 and no All-Star Weekend entirely in ‘99 due to the lockout.
There was a genuine itch for the return of the contest during All-Star Weekend in 2000. Helping hype that itch was a group of young, high-flying blue chippers set to compete. Not quite the starpower that once bestowed the exhibition - but young stars with bright futures ahead of them.
Tracy McGrady and Steve Francis threw down slams that would have easily clinched them gold in any other year. But the night belonged to Vince Carter.
Carter established dominance early with a strong 360 windmill dunk to start. He followed it up with a 180 reverse slam, where he started underneath the backboard. The crowd had no idea how to process these dunks.
Carter’s third dunk was where he showed the world he was on a different level and why he was called “Half Man, Half Amazing.” He caught a bounce from teammate Tracy McGrady, put the ball between his legs mid-air, and finished with a thunderous windmill.
Carter cruised to the finals; but by now everyone knew the contest belonged to ‘Air Canada.’ Carter flashed his elite vertical with a one-handed jam where his entire forearm was in the basket. He hung onto the rim for a few extra seconds for dramatic effect. He finished off the night with a “safe” two-handed slam from about 13 feet out.
Carter won the contest going away and ‘Vinsanity’ had officially begun. His performance ascended his career and the dunk contest itself to new heights, while simultaneously putting Canadien basketball on the map.
Carter showed the world why he was “Half Man, Half Amazing.” I salute you, Vince Carter. Thanks for the memories.
