BNHA X Cars
KaminariSo, this is basically BNHA Street racer AU. But to be more precise I’m picking the cars for the characters from BNHA. Because cars have characteristic, it has personality and it describes you as a person. Not just based from the body but the engines and the car as whole. So, this is my pick of cars for the character of BNHA
Part 1 For the boys
I’m going to divide it into 2 cars. One is for daily drive/Sports car and the other is The Supercar. The Sports car will describe them as characters individuals. While the Supercar will describe their full potentials.
Midoriya Izuku
Midoriya Izuku, The protagonist of the Anime. He is too good of a boy to mess around street Racing. The Color for his car is obviously Green, in that case I Recommend Him.
Sport car/ Daily Drive:
The Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX.
Tumblr media
To be more specific. It is Brian’s First car In the Fast and the furious franchise (R.I.P Paul Walker). This car is one of the Tuners favorite car to modify. It is run by 4G63 Engine, it is the same Engine that run an EVO F*CKING LANCER which is one of the finest cars that has been made on earth (Minus the Turbo). So it plays well with the whole inheritance thing with All Might.
Supercar:
For the supercar, I would Recommend McLaren 675LT
Tumblr media
This car Look Great In green. The whole characteristic of this car reminds me of Midoriya. This car shown how it can blend to the society, how it was able to move fast and aggressively while at the same time maintaining Elegance. This car looked slim, but its performance is something else 3.8 L V8 Twin Turbo Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) Gives the ability for the driver to drive like a maniac. The car produces more or less 675 Horsepower (Just like its name) and can go to 0-100 Km in 2.9 Seconds and a top speed with 330 Km/h (205 Mph).
Bakugo Katsuki
For Bakugo, His car has to be loud and Fast! He needs a car that’s intimidating. For the color I’m Thinking Red, Yellow or Black. But since the car need to look Antagonizing, I’m going with black. So, the car that I propose.
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
Dodge Charger SRT Hell Cat 2015
Tumblr media
This car is a 6.2L Hemi V8 Supercharged. The roars in this car is nothing short. This car is for sure is Intimidating. The roar of the engine is equivalent to Bakugo’s Roar of explosive anger. I was considering the newer one like the SRT Redeye Hellcat or even The Demon. But the demons is more of the inner demon screaming trying to get out. It needed a Rumbling sound of the V8, The insane roar that is deafening.
Supercar:
For the Supercar, it is very difficult. I can choose Hyper cars but they just felt a bit too well mannered compared to Bakugo. But I’ve given a lot of thought and the only car that fits is This
Pagani Zonda R
Tumblr media
This car is basically an f1 with a two-seater and a roof. This bad boy is a track only car. So, it is “Street Illegal!!” But that won’t stop Bakugo for using this beauty. This car on high rev speaks will be all the explanation needed on the reason why I chose this car. A car with 700 BHP and only weight 1,070 Kg (In comparison Ford focus weight 1,471 Kg) Which is like a feather.
Todoroki Shoto
For Todoroki His car has to be cool, matured and Luxurious but also High performance. I’m a bit mixed up with the colors Whether I should make it blue or white or red. But since I cant decide I leave it in the ‘Grey’ area. Get it? Ill just get on with it.
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
Aston Martin DB11
Tumblr media
Aston Martin is well known on it’s Luxury and History. Which fits Todoroki’s Prince aura/Characteristics. The performance is also nothing short, Aston Martin is also well known to make a brilliant Engine for racing. A twin turbocharged V12 Produce 600 BHP with a top speed 201Km/h (125Mph).
Supercar
For the Super car, I think Lamborghini Huracan Performante.
Tumblr media
It is a naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 Engine AWD. This car has a fierce fiery engine on its car but still has that cool matured Body. And the ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) Is brilliant. It is an active Aerodynamic system that allows the car to go faster.
Tenya Iida:
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
Is the Brabus 800 GT 63s
Tumblr media
This car is perfect fot Iida, It has a look in which my friend quote “Sophisticated Look”. And Mind you this car is probably The Fastest Car! For the sport/daily drive Car compare than anyone else in the list. This car packs a crazy 800 BHP and that’s says it all
Supercar:
Tumblr media
The fastest Car In the world! In 2010. The specific look that I would like to go is Drift From Transformer: Age Of Extinction. That Blue Lining is perfect for Iida. For some people engines might be boring, But this car have the power of 1200 Horses in it
Kirishima Eijiro
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
The car that this Manly man need to go with is the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500.
Tumblr media
The Engine has a named called the “Predator” V8 Engine. 750 BHP is nothing short and the roar from within is on par with Bakugo’s SRT Hellcat.
Supercar:
I was having second thought of choosing this car. But whenever I think of Kirishima in a car, This car always pops into my head
Tumblr media
Lamborghini Adventador SV. This car Looked manly and menacing. Why I thought about this car, is that it associated it self with a bull in which Kirishima and this car can relate to. A loud V12 Engine roars loud and deep in a intimidating voice and its perfect.
Sero Hanta
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
For Sero the car has to be traditional but still a good car nonetheless. So I pick A classic Porsche 911 turbo 1982.
Tumblr media
It is a classic sports car, It is tunable which make the car run fast.
Supercar:
Ferrari 458 Italia
Tumblr media
This car is a normal Aspirated V8 with a high rev engine. It creates something Revolutionary From something traditional.
Kaminari Denki
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
It has to be the SUPRA!!!!!!
Tumblr media
This car is definitely a meme, it fits with Kaminari Personality.  Seeing them is like “WTH ARE YOU DOING?!” Because both Kaminari and the car would do something ridiculously stupid.
Supercar:
For the Supercar I Would say The Lexus LFA
Tumblr media
Lexus is one of the Artistic Legacy of the JDM Cars. It is one of the legendary Supercar that ever existed. The Normal aspirated V10 Sounded like Pure Thunder striking down on the earth. Sound menacing and amazing. It fits for Kaminari Racing Persona (Or even his villain Persona).
Mashirao Ojiro
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
Ojiro is a traditional Japanese person, So his car has to be totally Japanese. My pick have to be The S30 Fairlady Z.
Tumblr media
To be exact the RB26 Swapped Fairlady Z from Sung Kang (Han’s Actor car from “Fast and Furious”) And that’s all I need to say about this car.
Supercar:
For the Supercar It has to be the last piece of The JDM Legend. It is The GTR R35 NISMO.
Tumblr media
This car is perfect for Ojiro, They both are the Representative Character of Japan.
Tokoyami Fumikage
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
Blackbird 370 z
Tumblr media
For me it’s a no Brainer. This car was featured as the Replacement of Blackbird in wangan Midnight When they aren’t allowed to use the Porsche. The slick Headlight and the whole body look is the description of Tokoyami Dark Shadow
Supercar:
Mclaren MP4-12C
Tumblr media
That Describes Tokoyami as a whole. One of the best car that ever created in history that changes the whole world. With the black fierce look, This car looks like a shark that flies on land.
Sato Rikido
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
Tumblr media
Sato is a muscular guy. So His sports car is definitely a Muscle Car. But It seems I have a trouble in finding it, It has to be a classic but not too old. In that reason I recommend Saleen s281 2000
It has that sporty look but still have the Muscle car Essence and history
Supercar:
For the Supercar It has to be The Corvette C8.R
Tumblr media
This car is a new take to American cars. It is a Incredible move from the American automotive Industries.
Koda Koji
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
For Koda He is definetly a good Boy so hew probably uses a 4-door car. For instance The Subaru WRX STI 2016.
Tumblr media
It doesn't seems Menacing but it still can move around well and when it drives, it definetly drives well.
Supercar:
For the Supercar it is definetly a NSX-R 1992 Tuned with a Rocket Bunny Body Kit.
Tumblr media
Koda is definitely a Honda city boi. From the name itself, I am 100% it fits with Koda. Back in the day if you want a Ferrari but you can’t afford one. You’ll buy an NSX.
Shoji Mezo
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
For Shoji I think Ford’s Trophy truck.
Tumblr media
A friend of mine said that Shoji, is the kind of guy who would drive a van for daily basis (So I guessed it has to be an American Car). But to me, Shoji is the Kind of guy that likes to get Dirt under his wheels. And I'm pretty sure Shoji is the kind of kid that doesn’t Mind flying in the car on daily basis.
Supercar:
For the Supercar I propose, Ford Gt.
Tumblr media
It is well planted and the car is very wide. Fitting to describes Shoji’s ‘Arms’. Although it might not have similarities with his daily car, But this car is all I could think of.
Aoyama Yuga
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
For the Daily Drive, it is obviously something Luxurious, Something High class Like Bentley GT 2019. The V8 Version.
Tumblr media
It is a confiscated yet sporty look in a car, It looked like as if he stands out compares to the other Luxury Cars
Supercar:
For the Supercar, It has to be describe as “Noblesse oblige” And the Car that fits the most is Noble M600.
Tumblr media
It is a Supercar with all the classic features. It is a RWD Manual Transmission Car, a twin turbocharged 4L V8. Packs 640 BHP 0-60 in 3.1 Second.
Mineta Minoru
Sport Car/ Daily Drive:
It’s the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS
Tumblr media
Basically, this car is the Japanese Equivalent To pimp rides. Even though This car is featured in The Fast and The Furious, It is just a now show car. Compared the old one, This version is a slower and much more difficult to Modify. But it is still a nice car and fun to drive with, and it is a popular car in the car culture.
Supercar:
For Mineta The Supercar might be really difficult. So in the end I just came up with the Villain version. (Inspired by ‘Nadaboodraws’ Villain Mineta on Instagram) I came up with this
Tumblr media
It is the Audi R8, It is one of the best Affordable Supercar you can get in the world. It is 4wd But it is still an aggressive car with a mean Look.
Okay that’s all I can give for this part. For the next one will be the girls of class 1-A. If you have different opinion let me know, I would love to hear all of your thoughts and if you use my list you can go ahead and use it (But please do tell me, because hearing it will be my vindication and that would make me really happy). Anyway, thank you for reading until this far.

2019 Audi R8 New Engine, Interior, Style, Price & Specs
2019 Audi R8 New Engine, Interior, Style, Price & Specs
The 2019 Audi R8 handles well and its standard AWD gives off-road ability as well, though only the turbo model offers spirited performance.
2019 Audi R8 Rumors
The 2019 Audi R8 SUV is in its last year before a redesign, but thankfully not a rethink. It’s spacious, quiet, comfortable, and capable, mostly thanks to its standard all-wheel-drive system and chunky flat-4 enging. The 2019 Audi R8…

🔻AUDI R8 V10 Decennium Coupe Limited Edition🔻
2009 saw Audi's flagship R8 sports car receive a new 5.2-liter V10 and enter into the ranks of true supercars. 10 years and continual upgrades later, Audi is marking the occasion with the limited-edition R8 Decennium.
Only 222 units will be made, each one finished in matte Daytona Gray paint and bronze wheels and accents. Carbon fiber and copper contrast stitching accent the black interior, with Decennium badging reminding passengers this isn't your usual R8. The V10 makes 620 horsepower, driving a sequential transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive, good for 0-100 Km/h (0-60 MPH) in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 330 Km/h (205 MPH). The R8 Decennium will be available in spring 2019.

2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD review: Less power, more smiles
New Post has been published on https://appradab.com/2020-lamborghini-huracan-evo-rwd-review-less-power-more-smiles/
2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD review: Less power, more smiles
The Huracan is as eye-catching now as it’s ever been.
Steven Ewing/Roadshow
It’s funny: Supercars are over-the-top rolling superlatives by their very definition, yet the cheaper, slower, less ostentatious versions are the ones that I tend to like best. I’m totally happy to sacrifice outright quickness for a bit more driver engagement. That’s why supercars like the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD are my jam.
Like
5.2-liter V10 is a total delight
Razor-sharp steering
$52K cheaper than AWD version
Revised traction control allows for controlled slides
Don’t Like
Cabin is kind of cramped
Infotainment tech needs work
That’s RWD for rear-wheel drive; this Huracan has two fewer driven wheels than the standard Evo coupe. Both Huracans use Lamborghini’s 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 (chef’s kiss), but it’s detuned slightly for the RWD car, from 630 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque to 602 hp and 413 lb-ft. That’s hardly a demerit; how could you possibly complain about only having 602 hp? Besides, the RWD coupe weighs 73 pounds less than the AWD car, meaning it has a weight-to-power ratio of 5.0:1, compared with the standard Evo’s 4.9:1. Unless you’re doing hot laps, I promise it’s a wash.
After all, with the RWD Evo, it’s not about what you lose, it’s about what you gain. The recalibrated Dynamic Power Steering system accounts for the loss of front-end power, so there’s more communication felt through the wheel. The Evo RWD has a redesigned nose to produce more downforce for better high-speed stability, and the suspension is tweaked for better control when you decide to kick the rear end out.
Steven Ewing/Roadshow
The RWD Evo might not be as quick as its all-wheel-drive sibling, but it’s every bit as sharp.
Speaking of which, the Performance Traction Control System — P-TCS in Lambo speak — actually encourages hooliganism when driven in Sport mode. P-TCS loosens the reins on the rear wheels “for easy drifting fun without compromising safety,” according to the Italians. And the traction control can actually measure the car’s angle of oversteer and limit rear-wheel power, making it easier to hold controlled drifts before snapping everything back in line. This definitely isn’t something I’d condone doing on a public road, natch, but if you’ve got a track at your disposal, well, smoke ’em if you got ’em.
Even in its default Strada setting, the Evo’s performance leash is plenty long. This car is a riot — the front wheels never succumb to understeer and the rear end only steps out when asked to. You can chuck the wheel hard into turns and the Huracan just hunkers down and goes. The RWD Evo might not be as quick as its all-wheel-drive sibling, but it’s every bit as sharp.
The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is occasionally lazy about shifting when left alone, but I’m all about using those huge, metal, column-mounted paddles. Plus, if you’re controlling the shifts, you can let that 5.2-liter engine rev to high heaven and enjoy the sweet, sweet song of the turbo-free V10. Unlike pretty much all show tunes, this is one soundtrack I’ll gladly play on repeat.
The rear-drive Huracan comes with 19-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, with 245/35s up front and chonky 305/35s around back. You can opt for 20-inch wheels if you want, and the steel brakes can be swapped out for carbon ceramics, but the stock setup is really quite good. You can spring for magnetic dampers (get it?), but my car has the basic steel setup and I don’t have any complaints about the daily-driving compliance. Not that you’d daily-drive a Huracan, but I suppose it’s comfortable enough that you could, though in that case, you would definitely want the $7,100 power front-end lift because without it, you will scrape the nose every day.
Lamborghini made a bunch of improvements to the Huracan’s interior when it introduced the Evo in 2019, all of which carry over to the RWD. The new sport seats ($7,500) are as supportive as ever but won’t stab you in the love handles, and the rest of the cockpit is as spacecraft-looking as it’s ever been, from the metal toggles along the center console right down to the bright red flap over the engine start button.
The Evo comes standard with 19-inch wheels, and I’m all about this blue-paint-with-orange-calipers color scheme.
Steven Ewing/Roadshow
The 8.4-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen continues to be a laggy chore to use, though the two-finger swipe is an easy way to handle on-the-go volume adjustment. Apple CarPlay is included and it’s 100% the way to go, but if you’re an Android user, well, womp womp. As far as other tech features are concerned, remember that this is a car where even basic cruise control is an option. You want advanced driver assistance features? Haha. That’s funny.
The 2020 Huracan Evo RWD starts at $214,366 including a $2,100 gas guzzler tax and $3,695 destination charge, which makes it $52,000 cheaper than the AWD version. The cars look almost identical — which is to say hella cool — but I prefer the RWD’s cleaner front end. And besides, you can option a rear-drive car up with all the same equipment as the standard Huracan Evo. The car pictured here? $276,016.
I could compare the Huracan Evo RWD to other megafast sports cars like the Ferrari F8 Tributo, the McLaren 570S, the Porsche 911 Turbo S or even the Lambo’s corporate cousin, the Audi R8. But choosing which supercar to buy is as much about brand loyalty as anything, and if you’re the kind of person who can go out and blow $200,000 on what is essentially a toy, well, you can probably afford more than one. Within the Huracan range, at least, I’d for sure argue in favor of the rear-drive Evo. What it lacks in power it more than makes up for in raw, unabashed fun. And really, isn’t that why you buy a supercar in the first place?

The Audi A7: History, Generations, Specifications
All things Audi A7 on Automobile.
Tumblr media
Audi A7 Essential History
If German naming conventions have you all twisted-up, understanding the Audi A7 is simple. Think of the A7 simply as a more elegant, stylish Audi A6, incorporating most (if not all) the A6's powertrain options and interior design. Make sense? We hope so, considering you've had eight model years to figure the A7 out. Launched globally in late 2010, Audi's swoopiest four-door didn't make it to the States until the 2012 model year, filling a Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class-sized gap in the automaker's lineup.
First-Generation Audi A7 แม่จำเนียร
Initially, Audi's ubiquitous 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 served as the only source of motivation, with 310 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque routed to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Soon after, the nerd-tastic 3.0-liter turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 hit our shores, now offering 240 hp and a thick 428 lb-ft of torque through the same eight-speed automatic.
With a 0-60-mph run tested somewhere in the low five-second range and a top speed of 155 mph, the bog-standard A7 was hardly a slug, but the later S7 added an extra dollop of speed and performance onto the platform. As the A7 is to the A6, the S7 is essentially a rebodied S6 of the same generation, incorporating the S6's excellent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 and slick seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. A total of 420 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque are on tap, returning a 0-60-mph run in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. Model year 2016 saw updates across the board, with the A7 upgraded to 333 hp and the S7 to 450 hp. Along with extra power, the S7 also added upgraded suspension, brakes, tires, wheels, and interior components over the regular A7.
Still not enough? The mighty RS7 is one of the most potent of all Audi four-doors, boosting the S7's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 to 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The RS7's 0-60-mph dash takes just 3.7 seconds, while upgraded brakes—and optional carbon ceramics—and revisions to both chassis and aero improve braking and handling. Finally, for the truly power-mad (and wealthy), Audi's 2017 updates brought the debut of the RS7 Performance model, rated for 605 hp and 553 lb-ft and capable of 0-60-mph times in the low three-second range.
Second-Generation Audi A7
The second generation of A7 arrived for the 2019 model year, and landed with the newest variant of Volkswagen/Audi's MLBevo platform, a new turbocharged V-6 engine, and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Stick with the A7, and you'll get a 3.0-liter that puts out 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque through all four wheels and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 0-60-mph dash takes 5.2 seconds, and top speed is limited to 130 mph.
By now, you should know how this goes. The second-gen S7 wasn't long behind the new A7, upping the ante with the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-6 pulled from the current RS5. This means 444 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic, cutting the 0-60-mph sprint time to 4.5 seconds, but keeping the top speed limited to 155 mph. Scarier still is the new RS7, packing an updated 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 with 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque that allows for a 0-60-mph scuttle in 3.5 seconds. Not convinced? Watch this space for the inevitable arrival of a new RS7 Performance.
Audi A7 Highlights
The effortlessly handsome Audi A7 wasn't the first fastback sedan, but it was one of the cars that established the segment alongside the groundbreaking Mercedes-Benz CLS, and the A7 remains a staple of Audi's lineup. The A7—and subsequent high-performance variants—aren't at the top of the Audi dogpile in either price or size, but the A7 family possesses some of the strongest aspirational pull and consumer recognition. For many, the RS7 is about as good as a modern four-door can get, both aesthetically and dynamically, and we can't say there isn't a kernel of truth in this. Better yet, even if you don't make the jump to the S7 or RS7, the regular bog-standard A7 is still one of the most luxurious and beautifully packaged vehicles on sale today.
Audi A7 Buying Tips
Figuring out which member of the A7 family to buy breaks down to what you want out of your style-forward German luxury car. If you're in the market for a reliable, trouble-free daily driver, go with a new A/S/RS7; there's little point pumping endless dollars into a second-hand A7 unless you're already a die-hard Audi enthusiast.
If you're OK with driving a used S7 or RS7 as a second or third car for long distance trips or medium-distance use around town, look for a strong maintenance record. If you can't find a good one or maybe can't afford one of the cleaner ones, we say keep walking—this is a case of pay now or pay big later.
When you do find a nice pre-owned example, have it checked out by a local Audi dealer or independent specialist to make sure there isn't anything insidious hiding under those sumptuous bodylines. If there are issues, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts, however expensive they may be; Audi still provides factory support for A7s both old and new.

Reports that the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lapped the Nürburgring in 7: 28.3 might have fizzled, however not by much since the main time is awfully close: 7: 29.9.
General Motors snuck the time into the trailer of its documentary about establishing the eighth-generation Corvette(which it will release in two parts over the next couple of months). Throughout a tracking shot of the video camera moving uphill towards the track’s well-known banked corner Karussell, the time can be seen overlaid on the tarmac, in a shade of white implied to make you mistake it for the track’s notorious graffiti.

General Motors
A GM representative verified to The Drive that Corvette Racing chauffeur Oliver Gavin accomplished this time during the C8’s advancement at the Nürburgring in the summer of2019 The car utilized was a prototype geared up with the Z51 Performance Plan, which adds larger brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, functional aero, and a performance exhaust that raises engine output to 495 horse power and 470 pound-feet of torque.
While we currently know the C8’s 2.9-second zero-to-60 time– which is similar to hypercars from a years or 2 back– this lap time does not indicate much in a vacuum. The C8’s sensational performance is better highlighted when compared to the other trips listed below.
7: 04.0: 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C7) (Informal)
7: 13.9: 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Z06(C7) (Unofficial)
7: 19.6: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6)
7: 28.0: 2005 Porsche Carrera GT
7: 29.6: 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
7: 29.9: 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Z51(C8)
7: 32.0: 2015 Audi R8 V10 Plus
7: 38.0: 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia
7: 59.0: 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Z51(C6)
youtube
In Spite Of a 155- horse power deficit, the new Corvette nearly equated to the time of the fastest Camaro that’s ever been offered, and triumphed over numerous automobiles that cost a number of times as much. Efficiency like this should whet your hunger for what the C8 will do when GM offers it more power in the kind of the upcoming Z06, which is anticipated to include an overhead-cam V-8 with a flat-plane crankshaft. Reports allege this engine might produce 600 or more horsepower, and that the chassis it powers will brandish aero much more severe than that of the C7 ZR1.
Seeing as a Corvette model has actually been found in what appears like benchmark testing against a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, we have nothing however sky-high expect America’s cost effective supercar. Until GM chooses to let the world understand if it’ll strike it out of the park with the Z06 or ZR1, nevertheless, we’ll get plenty of practice twiddling our thumbs.

The Jaguar F-PACE SVR: A Modern-Day Supercar
Tumblr media
Let’s be perfectly clear: The 380-horsepower Jaguar F-PACE S has always been a fast SUV. Its supercharged V6 roars to life and will make the uninitiated’s hair stand on end. On this point, there is little argument.
The trouble is, performance SUVs like the BMW X5 M, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, and Porsche Cayenne Turbo redefined what shoppers can expect from a high-riding crossover, and Jaguar, a company with a long history in performance and racing, simply couldn’t compete with those rocket ships.
Don’t Wake the Neighbors
Luckily, in a true Cinderella story, Jaguar’s supercharged V8 is a perfect fit for the F-PACE’s engine bay. It’s with this engine that the F-PACE evolves from a fast, premium luxury crossover and heads toward supercar territory.
Tumblr media
The 2019 Jaguar F-PACE SVR isn’t necessarily the best choice for early risers living in quiet suburban hamlets. Sure, our test car’s Ultra Blue paint would look spectacular against a green, manicured lawn. But depress the brake and punch the ignition, and the birds will almost certainly leave their nest and your peaceful neighbors will likely be writing strongly worded letters to the homeowner’s association.
The F-PACE SVR is loud—loud is kind of Jaguar’s thing these days. But it also comes with a little party trick for those who can’t get enough of blasting through tunnels and revving in parking garages. On the center console between the driver and passenger seats, Jaguar has installed a button that opens a set of baffles in the exhaust tailpipe. Hit this button, and the SVR’s engine note grows from a subtle (but noticeable) growl to an outright bark. The residents of your bucolic neighborhood might not appreciate the noise, but you likely will.
Watch Out for That Speed Limit
Once you’re off and running, the party’s just begun. The SVR’s 5.0-liter V8 engine puts out 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, distributed to all four wheels and managed by a quick 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s not quite as quick as some competitors—namely the Porsche Macan Turbo—but with Pirelli Scorpion all-season tires, it raced away from stoplights and tore through corners. Despite the car’s 4,395 pounds, it never felt top-heavy.
Tumblr media
Certainly, the SVR benefits from a few additional upgrades—at nearly $90,000, one would hope it comes with more than just a big engine. 22-inch wheels handle the wide tires, and the massive brakes house Jaguar’s electronic active differential, which helps the vehicle carve corners by applying light braking to the inside wheel during turns. Unfortunately, like a true supercar, it also chugged gas. Over 250 miles, we averaged 16.3 miles per gallon of painfully expensive premium fuel.
Stop for Groceries
What truly makes the F-PACE special, however, is not its sound or its speed or its handling chops. It’s that it provides all of these supercar elements while still being up to the task of day-to-day life.
Tumblr media
Typically, you’ll hear critics praise the Porsche 911 or the Audi R8 as “everyday supercars,” because they’re relatively comfortable and easy to drive, while also providing top-tier performance. But next to an F-PACE SVR, those cars are garage-queen exotics.
The F-PACE gives you all-wheel drive. It gives you ground clearance. It gives you 63.5 cubic feet of total cargo space. It just so happens to also give you face-melting acceleration and cellular-disrupting braking. Packaged in gorgeously designed sheet metal and complete with advanced safety and technology features, the F-PACE SVR is the new daily-driving supercar.

2020 Drako GTE Debuts as a 1,200-HP, Hyper-Handling EV Supercar
On Friday morning at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week 2019, upstart Drako Motors unveiled its striking new all-electric supercar, the GTE. And whatever your feelings regarding its exterior styling, it boasts several attention-grabbing numbers: 1,200 combined horsepower, a 206-mph top speed, and a base price in excess of $1 million.
The all-wheel-drive Drako GTE comes from the Silicon Valley–based auto-engineering firm founded in 2015 by three tech entrepreneurs. It has four permanent-magnet hybrid synchronous motors (225 kW/302 hp each) to produce that 1,200 hp and blistering acceleration. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and, in road configuration, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires add to the extreme performance.
More important, the GTE incorporates the company’s proprietary Drako DriveOS, a software system that replaces conventional mechanical axle differentials with computer-managed four-wheel torque vectoring; the motor at each wheel can be instantly and independently controlled for maximum traction, stability, and handling responsiveness, the company says. The entire system is controlled by a single ECU, making it far less complex than the computer networks in most modern vehicles.
Shiv Sikand, Drako Motors executive vice president and co-founder, says, “I believe we’re on the cusp of a revolution with the use of four-motor electric cars. And we aim to lead that charge.”
Company president and CEO Dean Drako started working with Sikand around 2002, after a friend suggested the two engineers and tech entrepreneurs “would make a good team.” After starting a software company that’s still going strong, Drako and Sikand—both avowed car crazies—turned their attention toward building a car of their own.
“I have a couple Ferraris, a BMW M5 or two,” says Drako. “But I’ve always been a fan of the electric car, always wanted to have one that has the track-capable performance of a traditional sports car. But I’m disappointed with the look of so many electric cars. They look funny. And the makers say, ‘Well, it’s a different thing.’ But the reality is nobody wants a different thing. They want the same thing but better. That was a lot of the motivation for building our car.”
“We want to evoke the passion, the sexiness, of long-bonnet, V-12 sports cars,” agrees Sikand. “We want to show that you can have beautiful, inspiring cars that are high-tech. When you lift the hood of our car you’ll think, ‘I’ve never seen anything like this!’”
That car, unveiled after roughly six years of development, is based on a Fisker Karma platform, but every panel except the doors is new. Indeed, the sensuous lines of the carbon-fiber bodywork were penned by ex-Pininfarina design director Lowie Vermeersch, who helped create such stunning shapes as the Ferrari 458 and the Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta concept car before founding his own design house, GranStudio, in Turin, Italy. But what lies underneath—namely, an innovative battery, four electric motors, and that proprietary Drako DriveOS software to run it all—truly sets this new supercar apart.
The GTE doesn’t mark the first-ever use of such electric architecture, mind you. In 2013, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the four-motor, 740-hp SLS AMG Electric Drive—a car that set the lap record at the time for an electric car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a time of 7 minutes, 56 seconds, handily beating the Audi R8 e-tron. Yet after selling fewer than 100 examples of its half-million-dollar supercar, Mercedes essentially abandoned the program.
The Drako GTE aims to pick up where the SLS Electric Drive left off, while also taking the four-motor concept to an entirely new level. Drako promises that effortlessness at the wheel is the GTE’s secret sauce.
“Our obsession has been the new control methodology,” says Sikand. “With electric-motor propulsion at each wheel, you can apportion the torque any way you want. Now, we’ve seen this—Porsche has their torque-vectoring rear axle, for example—but it’s still fundamentally primitive. Or these electronic differentials that control clutches electronically; you’re still doing retardation with hydraulic brakes, and the latency is long. With our system you’ve got a virtual triple differential with no brakes needed. There’s zero latency. And our system is proactive. We’re computing a new torque value every 10 milliseconds to all four wheels, taking into account steering angle, slip angle, wheel-speed sensors, accelerator, and brakes. The tech is not only very intuitive for race-car drivers, but for the general public you can build a very safe car—particularly for inclement conditions.”
Four switches on the console—what Drako calls the Quattro Manettino—allow a driver to adjust the torque-vectoring level, front-to-rear power distribution, braking regen level, and settings for six different road-surface conditions.

Audi Obsession News – June 27, 2019
Right from #thesix, home of the 2019 NBA champions – the Toronto Raptors - Welcome to the hottest Audi News and Updates. It's not a passion. It's an audi_obsession. Let’s get to it! Audi has been on a roll lately so what exactly is happening in the Audi universe?
Are you a fan of Marvel movies?
Audi and Sony Pictures Entertainment Team Up On “Spider-Man: Far From Home”: the All-electric Audi e-tron appears in addition to the Audi A7 and the Audi Q8 in “Spider-Man: Far From Home”.
Tumblr media
Also, Tom Holland as Peter Parker stars in latest digital content from Audi, featuring the all-electric Audi e-tron GT concept. I think he is taking over “Tony Stark” role from previous Marvel movies. Cant wait to watch the new spiderman movie!
We all love the Q8, don’t we?
Audi announced the new SQ8 With a Blazing 429HP Turbodiesel Mild Hybrid: Audi added a couple of sport-focused details and a leather/alcantara interior combination to the already stellar Q8 but more importantly, the performance-oriented SQ8 is powered by the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel V8 from the Audi SQ7. With that said, the SQ8 produces a whopping 429 horsepower and a head-pressing 664 pound-feet of torque as early as 1,000 rpm. These massive output figures are then sent to the quattro AWD system via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Tumblr media
The SQ8's mild hybrid system is designed to power the SUV at speeds of up to 14 mph. Power is fed through a 48V lithium-ion battery pack, which also powers the electric-powered compressor that assists the turbochargers at low revs and low-speed acceleration.
Performance ratings include a 0-62 miles per hour time of 4.8 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.
The diesel-fed Audi SQ8 will hit European showrooms later this year. The gasoline version of the SQ8 will likely reach North America but powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6.
Behold the all-new face-lifted Audi Q7
Audi announced an updated version of its Q7 three-row is SUV is coming to Europe in the fall, and as recent history indicates, the U.S. version shouldn’t be too far behind. Updates to the new Q7’s exterior styling, powertrain and multimedia system bring it in line with recently refreshed or redesigned versions of much of the automaker’s lineup.
youtube
Also similar to the A7 and other recently updated Audi vehicles, the new Q7 gets a powertrain update, including a mild-hybrid system. Again, Audi didn’t give spec details, but it said the vehicle would launch in Europe with a choice of two diesel engines — unlikely to show up stateside. What’s more likely for the U.S. market is the mild-hybrid system. In the A7 and A8 sedans, the system pairs a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. A 16-horsepower motor-generator captures energy under deceleration and stores it in a battery under the trunk floor; it also enables a stop-start system. Audi says to expect a plug-in hybrid version after launch.
Audi says the new Q7 will launch first in Europe in mid-September; a U.S. launch likely will follow.
“Like what you read so far? Let us know at the comments! Now back to the news!”
Tumblr media
Racing is part of Audi’s DNA and last weekend Audi won the Nürburgring 24 Hours beating Porsche racing team – congratulations to the Phoenix Racing team. Fyi, the Audi R8 has now Five wins in eight years. OUTSTANDING!
In other good news, the Audi TT Won't Die After All!
Tumblr media
The Audi TT will evolve into an all-electric sports car. Rumours of the Audi TT’s death may have been greatly exaggerated given news from Audi’s own technical boss that the sporty nameplate may live on as an electrified vehicle. Iconic German coupe and roadster could drop gas and diesel engines and switch to battery power. But rumours indicate that these changes wont happen until 2022, so there are still several years to enjoy the current version before the EV replaces it.
And while we wait for those electric changes,
Audi is Launching New S, and RS Models this year: A total of nine S and an additional four  RS models are scheduled for a 2019 release. This should include updates to the existing lineup plus new additions. Super excited!
Tumblr media
That’s it for today and thanks for sticking until the end! Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram @audi_obsession.

Every Mid-Engined Sports Car You Can Buy in 2019
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Acura NSXAs appealing as it might be to start in the middle of this group and work our way out, that makes no sense, so the first entry on our alphabetically ordered list is the Acura NSX. It's the only mid-engined vehicle made in America (Ohio, actually), although not by an American automaker. A technological powerhouse, the NSX combines a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 with a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electric motor driving the rear wheels, with a pair of electric motors driving the fronts. Their combined might is a satisfying 573 horsepower, and the car can even drive for brief periods on electricity alone.Acura

Tumblr media
Alfa Romeo 4C SpiderThe Alfa Romeo 4C Spider-the fixed-roof coupe model was recently dropped from the lineup-is one of the sprightliest mid-engined sports cars out there. Note that we said "sprightliest," not "sportiest." It’s a sensations car as much as a numbers car. A tiny 1.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers its 237 horsepower in peaky swells and emits a farty exhaust blat and plenty of turbo whooshing sounds while doing it. The steering is manual (no power assistance!) and the 4C is very lightweight, thanks to its exotic (particularly for the price) carbon-fiber-tub chassis. The Alfa's limits are high, but the feedback through the controls is where joy is derived when behind the wheel of one of these flyweights.Alfa Romeo
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Audi R8Audi's R8 is closely related to the Lamborghini Huracán but costs much less. That makes it a value, so long as you're okay with the R8's less flagrant styling and more mainstream badge. Beneath the Audi's long rear deck sits the same 5.2-liter V-10 engine used by the Huracán and the same basic dual-clutch automatic transmission. The two cars' body structures are vaguely similar. Even so, the Audi is set up better for everyday use, and its V-10 engine offers less horsepower than the Huracán's (two outputs are offered in the R8; buyers can either have 562 horsepower or 602 horsepower). Coupe and convertible body styles are available.Audi
Tumblr media
Audi R8Base price: $172,450Engine: 562–602-hp 5.2L V-10Transmission and drive layout: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; all-wheel driveAudi
Tumblr media
BMW i8 We can see how it'd be easy to write off the BMW i8. For all its wild looks, the sports car has a pint-sized 1.5-liter three-cylinder and is-gulp-a plug-in hybrid. Off paper, things get more interesting: There is an electric motor dedicated to spinning the front axle and another assisting the surprisingly powerful turbocharged three-cylinder turn the rear axle. Total system output stands at a substantial-for the i8's weight-369 horsepower, making BMW's first mid-engined sports car since the legendary M1 quick indeed. And as of 2019, there is a Roadster model in addition to the coupe, which debuted for 2014.BMW
Tumblr media
BMW i8 Base price: $148,495Engine: 228-hp turbo 1.5L inline-three, 141-hp electric motor, total system power: 369 hpTransmission and drive layout: F: 2-speed automatic, M: 6-speed dual-clutch automatic; all-wheel driveBMW
Tumblr media
Bugatti ChironBugatti's Chiron is far and away the most expensive, exotic, and powerful machine on this roster. It follows the groundbreaking Veyron, the top-speed-famous hypercar whose quad-turbocharged W-16 engine the Chiron borrows (with modifications, of course). That massive engine sends 1500 horsepower to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. There's a Sport version offered as well, with the same engine output but a more handling-focused setup. The Chiron will cost you a shade under $3 million, while the Chiron Sport goes for $3.26 million-either sum is enough to purchase one of every other vehicle listed here, which you might have to do, given the quickly disappearing build slots for the last 100 or so Chirons slated for production.Bugatti
Tumblr media
Bugatti ChironBase price: $2,998,000Engine: 1500-hp quad-turbo 8.0L W-16 Transmission and drive layout: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; all-wheel driveBugatti
Tumblr media
Ferrari F8 TributoWhen you think of Ferrari, you're as likely to imagine a mid-engined supercar as one with its engine in its nose-even though Maranello currently sells only one vehicle with a mid-mounted engine, the F8 Tributo. The Portofino, GTC4Lusso, and 812 Superfast all hold their engines up front. Ferrari's mid-engine rides are easy to conjure because they're usually the highest performers; think back to the iconic F40, the Enzo, and more recently, the LaFerrari. The F8 Tributo certainly strives for such performance, adopting the 710-hp twin-turbo V-8 from its 488GTB predecessor's track-focused Pista variant, along with decidedly prettier bodywork, even if that last bit doesn't do anything specific to enhance performance. Look for a topless F8 Tributo Spider to join the lineup in the near future.Ferrari

Ford GTPending the arrival of a new challenger-say, one from Chevrolet, cough cough!-the Ford GT is the only mid-engined supercar currently offered by a major American automaker. Weirdly, it isn't built here; instead, it is assembled in Canada. In any event, the lone American-badged mid-engined supercar upholds its special station splendidly while doubling as a showcase for the Blue Oval's downsized, turbocharged EcoBoost engine technologies: The GT's radically shaped carbon-fiber body houses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 making 647 horsepower, nearly 100 more than the previous-generation GT's supercharged V-8. Even though there remain 350 cars of the 1350-car production run yet to build, Ford closed the order books for the GT this past November. So unless your application was accepted, you'll have a tough time getting your hands on one.Ford
Tumblr media

Lamborghini Aventador S / SVJLamborghini's arch rival, Ferrari, may have turned to a majority front-engined lineup, but the raging-bull brand sure hasn't. Since the drop-dead gorgeous Miura appeared in the late 1960s, Lamborghini's sports cars have mostly been mid-engined, including the brand's current flagship, the Aventador. Offered in S or amped-up SVJ spec, the Aventador situates a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 in the center of its carbon-fiber monocoque. The base Aventador S squeezes 729 horsepower from that V-12; the SVJ ups that figure to 759. Both route their engine's might to all four wheels, and both can be purchased in coupe or convertible form. Lamborghini
Tumblr media
Lamborghini Aventador S / SVJBase price: $424,845Engine: 729–759-hp 6.5L V-12Transmission and drive layout: 7-speed automated manual; all-wheel driveLamborghini
Tumblr media
Lamborghini Huracán EvoOnly in the company of the Aventador could the Lamborghini Huracán be considered "lesser than" in any normal sense of the phrase. In practically any other context, the entry-level Lambo is a beast in its own right, a proper supercar with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V-10 fitted right in its midsection, behind the passenger compartment. For 2020, the Huracán adopts the Evo name, a transition that brings styling updates and now 631 horsepower from that naturally aspirated V-10, the same power rating as the pre-Evo Huracán's spicier, Nürburgring-eating Performante model.Lamborghini

Lotus Evora 400With the Elise and Exige having long aged beyond compliance with U.S. safety regulations (and subsequently pulled from the market here), Lotus is down to a single model in America: the Evora, one of only two mid-engined vehicles here sporting more than two seats. Behind the Evora's 2+2 cabin sits a 3.5-liter supercharged V-6 engine that dispatches 400 horsepower to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. At $91,785 to start, the 400 is one of the few mid-engined sports cars available for five figures (however, later this year, its price will go up).Lotus

Tumblr media
McLaren 570S / 570GTMcLaren's entry-level Sports Series models, including the 570S coupe, 570S Spider, and 570GT, are cooked up with the same essential ingredients as everything else the company makes. That means a twin-turbo V-8 (in this case displacing 3.8 liters and producing 562 horsepower) nestled in the middle of a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The only difference among the trio of 570-badged McLarens is their roofs: The 570S is a fixed-roof coupe, the Spider has a retractable top, and the 570GT has a fixed roof but with a large glass hatch covering a vestigial cargo area behind the seats.McLaren
Tumblr media
McLaren 570S / 570GTBase price: $195,000Engine: 562-hp twin-turbo 3.8L V-8Transmission and drive layout: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; rear-wheel driveMcLaren
Tumblr media
McLaren 600LTSimilar to how the discontinued 675LT was more powerful and harder of core than the also-defunct 650S on which it was based, McLaren's 600LT is its next-level take on the 570 models. The 600LT is the third model to get the "Longtail" treatment, after the McLaren F1 GTR and 675LT, and it kicks up the output from the 570S's twin-turbo V-8 to 592 horsepower. Everything from the suspension to the aero kit has been upgraded to deliver an altogether more focused, track-ready driving experience. Most of the coupes have already been spoken for, but the Spider version is available from $259,000.McLaren
Tumblr media
McLaren 600LTBase price: $242,500Engine: 592-hp twin-turbo 3.8L V-8Transmission and drive layout: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; rear-wheel driveMcLaren
Tumblr media
McLaren 720SStanding above McLaren's Sports Series models are its Super Series cars, which currently are made up entirely of the 720S and 720S Spider. These cars also use a carbon-fiber monocoque but trade the Sports Series models' 3.8-liter V-8 for a 4.0-liter unit good for 710 horsepower. This British answer to Italy's F8 Tributo and Huracán Evo starts at $287,245 and is otherworldly on a racetrack.McLaren
Tumblr media
McLaren 720SBase price: $287,245Engine: 710-hp twin-turbo 4.0L V-8Transmission and drive layout: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; rear-wheel driveMcLaren
Tumblr media
Porsche 718 Boxster / CaymanPorsche's entry-level sports cars, the 718 Boxster convertible and the 718 Cayman coupe, are its only mid-engined models. The 918 Spyder shared their powertrain layout in the basic sense, but that hypercar has long been off the market, and the iconic 911 still situates its engine way out in its tail. Every 718 is powered by a turbocharged flat-four engine, albeit with a few differences. Namely, the base cars have 2.0-liter engines that produce 300 horsepower, while the S and GTS versions use a 2.5-liter with a different turbo to kick out 350 and 365 horsepower. Beyond trim, buyers must choose between the Cayman coupe and Boxster convertible and either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. With pricing that starts at $58,150, the 718 is the most accessible way to a brand-new mid-engined sports car in America today.Porsche
Tumblr media
Porsche 718 Boxster/CaymanBase price: $58,150Engine: 300-hp turbo 2.0L flat-four, 350–365-hp turbo 2.5L flat-fourTransmission and drive layout: 6-speed manual transmission, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; rear-wheel drivePorsche
Tumblr media
Coming Soon: Chevrolet C8 CorvetteThe Corvette has, since its inception in 1953, had its engine placed up front. But the highly anticipated forthcoming eighth-generation model (C8) is shattering that tradition and going mid-engined. This new Vette is scheduled to debut in July, and final specifications are being held until then (along with the car's uncovered styling). We're expecting the C8 Corvette to launch with a 6.2-liter V-8 adapted from the outgoing C7 model, transmitting upward of 500 horsepower through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox to the rear wheels. Marshmello’s 6×6 Truck Is An Absolute Beast
Lots of DJs when they get money go for fancy cars as the first gift to themselves. Plenty opt for the Audi R8 or a Porsche or something similar, but not Marshmello — Marshmello went big.
The masked DJ got a modified Ford Raptor that’s now dubbed the Hennessey Velociraptor. The chassis is stretched to make room for an extra axle, while the body is wrapped in a forest green with custom decals and prints. Add to that all the custom bells and whistles and you’ve got a pretty aggressive looking vehicle.
But what’s under the hood? Auto Evolution writes, “The tuner also messes around under the hood, squeezing out 600 horsepower and 622 lb-ft of torque from the familiar 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost. So even though this thing weighs as much as a mobile home, it still hauls butt to 60mph, getting there in 4.2 seconds.” Woof.
Marshmello could be seen driving this monster around at Coachella, and you might even see it on the streets of LA if you’re lucky. Check out the video below from RDBLA for a more in-depth look at this beast.

The Audi R8: Origins, Generations, Specifications
Tumblr media
All things Audi R8 on Automobile.
Audi R8 Essential History Despite a rich motorsports history with overwhelming success in both rallying and endurance racing, Audi's always remained at arm's length when it came to producing a true sports car. The once-popular Audi TT has most of the right ingredients, but the front-wheel-drive underpinnings pulled primarily from the VW Golf kept it well below the Porsche Boxster, Nissan Z cars, and BMW's assorted roadsters and two-seat coupes.
Since the early 1980s, Audi remained content developing high-performance versions of its premium coupes and sedans, focusing on promoting all-wheel drive technology and turbocharged engines, even if the resulting speed-specials were softer and more road-oriented than the adrenalin-charging weapons from Mercedes-Benz' AMG or BMW's M division.
It was only during the early-2000s when the reality of an Audi supercar began to coalesce, born from Audi's ongoing Le Mans domination and the then-recent acquisition of Lamborghini by the Volkswagen Auto Group. To amortize the cost of development of the nascent Lamborghini Gallardo and to bring Audi a little closer in-line with Mercedes and BMW, the plan for the mid-engine Audi R8—the brand's first supercar—took shape with the Le Mans Quattro concept in 2003.
Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept Visually, the Audi Le Mans Quattro concept was nearly identical to the production R8 that arrived in 2007, though the wild twin-turbo V-10 engine was tossed for a more production-friendly iteration of Audi's naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V-8. Power was reasonable for a mid-engine sports car of the era, with 414 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque sent to all-four wheels through either Audi's R-Tronic six-speed automated manual or a gated six-speed manual transmission. Zero-to-60-mph times for these early R8s were around the low four-second mark, with a top speed around 188 mph.
The Audi R8 Goes V-10 For the 2009 model year, the R8's Lamborghini roots shone in full-force, when the updated 5.2-liter V-10 from the Lamborghini LP560-4 was shoehorned into the R8. Fun fact—that Lamborghini V-10 is actually an Audi V-10 pulled from the S6 and S8. So, the R8 V10 actually uses an Audi V-10 pulled from a Lamborghini, but we digress. The V-10 engine increased the R8's output to 518 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque, dropping the zero-to-60 mph sprint to 3.9 seconds, and raising top speed to 196 mph.
The Audi R8 Spyder Drop-top Spyder variants launched for both the V-8 and the V-10 models, with the V-8 adding an extra 14 horsepower over the V-8 coupe, growing the total to 428 horsepower, though torque remained unchanged at 317 lb-ft. The limited edition R8 GT arrived in 2011, cutting 220 pounds from the curb weight of the regular R8 V10, while increasing the V-10's output to 552 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. As you'd expect, the R8 GT also brought with it a range of suspension, braking, and aerodynamic upgrades over the regular car to compensate for the additional power and to enlarge the overall performance envelope. Production of the GT was limited to 333 units worldwide, with an additional 333 unit run of the corresponding R8 GT Spyder.
The first-generation R8 received a mid-cycle refresh for 2012 in the rest of the world, arriving in the U.S. in 2013 as a 2014 model year. The refresh brought mostly aesthetic updates, though a few significant mechanical upgrades were also brought to the R8, most significantly a new seven-speed dual-clutch replacing the balky R-Tronic automated manual transmission. Standard magnetic damping was also added for the R8 V10, an optional upgrade for the V-8 models.
The R8 V10 Plus arrived on our shores in 2014, adding a new range-topping trim with extra power and performance in the same vein as the older R8 GT. The same 5.2-liter V-10 as found in the standard R8 V10 was upgraded to 542 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque in the R8 V10 Plus, which also got a re-tuned suspension, updated interior, and massaged aesthetics.
Second-Generation Audi R8 After these short-lived upgrades, the first-gen R8 was replaced by an all-new model in 2015 for the 2016 model year. In keeping with the Lamborghini bones of the prior generation, the second-gen R8 shares much of its structural DNA with the Lamborghini Huracan. This includes the familiar 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V-10—the only engine offered at the moment—initially available with either 533 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque in the base R8 coupe or 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft in the R8 V10 Plus coupe. With the exception of the limited-edition R8 RWS (Rear Wheel Series), power is transferred to all-four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
For 2019, the second-gen R8 was updated with extra power and an aesthetic refresh. Power for the base coupe jumped to 562 horsepower and 413 lb-ft, while the newly renamed R8 Coupe Performance Quattro packs 602 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Performance for all iterations of the second-gen R8 is impressive; factory-quoted zero-to-60 mph times range between 3.2 seconds and 3.5 seconds, though these times have proven to be conservative in independent tests.
Audi R8 Highlights Time will likely be kind to the Audi R8. The first generation of the supercar consistently ranks at the top of many enthusiast's lists of best designs of the 2000s, and it's only going to get better with time. Although older R8s may carry a bit of a stigma as simply a used supercar, give it time—or pick one up now, while they are at the bottom of their depreciation curve.
Once the first R8s are out of the too-new-to-be-classic but too-old-to-be-cool dead zone, the R8 will be one of the better ways to get into something genuinely exotic for not much more than the price of entry to a loaded mid-size crossover SUV. Early V-8s are particularly inexpensive to purchase, and compared to a Ferrari or Lamborghini of similar vintage, significantly less expensive to keep on the road. As far as upkeep price goes, think more than a BMW or Audi sedan, and less than an Aston Martin—maintenance on a regular Porsche 911 is likely a good comparison.
By design, the R8 of any generation is a more professional, lower-key supercar—if that's even a thing. The current R8 is priced closer to the Porsche 911 Turbo, current Acura NSX, and Aston Martin Vantage than to Lamborghini's Huracán or McLaren's 720s, but in our experience, the R8 doesn't fall far short of those more exotic models in performance or theater. In fact, we'd likely take a new R8 over any of the listed alternatives on the strength of its sound and the vicious launch control. We've also heard whispers that a first-gen Audi R8 V10 with the gated manual transmission is one of the best "exotic" experiences that can be had for less than $100,000, so there's that.
Audi R8 Buying Tips Audi R8s of any generation or spec are fairly robust and shouldn't provide too many undue surprises mechanically. A thick sheaf of maintenance records is always a welcome inclusion with any potential purchase, as is a pre-purchase inspection at a local specialist or dealer. Parts availability for the R8 is high, considering even the oldest R8s still have factory support from Audi—for now. As stated above, expect regular maintenance bills similar to what you'd expect of a Porsche 911.
If you are in the market for a first-gen R8, we highly suggest you seek only those with either the six-speed manual transmission or the later dual-clutch examples. Avoid the R-Tronic at all costs; it's clunky, slow, relatively fragile, and for some enthusiasts, ruins the overall experience. Engine type matters, too, as V-8s will obviously be more affordable than the V-10s, but there is a significant difference in both speed and upkeep between the two engines—as well as a difference in prestige, which can enhance (or detract from) collectibility.
Audi R8 Auctions Despite undeniable desirability, the Audi R8 isn't collectible enough to cross the stage at major auction houses—yet. Bring a Trailer never disappoints, as the healthy record of sold R8s is enough to give an idea of what you might pay for a first generation. For second-generation R8s—the current model—there are enough on Audi lots that you might be better off getting one straight from the source.
This 2009 Audi R8 4.2 w/ six-speed manual and only 8,000 miles sold for $67,000
A 2010 Audi R8 V10 w/ six-speed manual sold for $72,000
This second-gen 2018 Audi R8 RWS claimed $118,000
A late-model first-gen 2015 Audi R8 4.2 with six-speed manual was bought for $80,000

Audi R8 FAQ You have questions about the Audi R8. Automobile has answers. Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked Audi R8 queries:
Is The Audi R8 A Supercar? Absolutely. With any engine or transmission and from either generation, the Audi R8 is quick, fast, and visually stunning enough to be considered a supercar.
How Fast Does An Audi R8 Go? The early first-gen Audi R8 4.2s topped out at 188 mph, while the latest and greatest Audi R8 V10 Performance Quattro smacks a mighty 206 mph.
How Much Is The New Audi R8? The base 2020 Audi R8 will run you $171,150.
What Year Is The Best Audi R8? Hmm, great question. We reckon it depends on what you want from the car. For an engaging drive, we'd pick the cleanest first-gen V-10 with the gated manual we could find. However, the current R8 is stunningly quick and aurally spectacular as any car we've driven, so perhaps one of the few R8 RWS would find its way into our dream garage. ผลบอล7mคะแนน

2019 Audi A7 Styling Leaked Through Scale Model
The all-new 2019 Audi A7 has leaked online in a rather unconventional manner – through a scale model.  The image of the model was originally discovered by Dutch automotive enthusiast site AutoWeek.nl. While not of the next-generation A7 itself, the photo reveals what the new A7 will look like. Not surprisingly, the design is evolutionary rather than revolutionary, retaining the same fastback shape as the current A7 but implementing the widened, single-frame grille of the new Audi A8. SEE ALSO: A Faster, More Hardcore Audi R8 May be on the Way While not much is known about the new A7, the recently unveiled A8 gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. It should arrive with Audi’s SAE Level 3 autonomous driving system with traffic jam assist, which debuted on the A8. We’re also expecting Audi’s 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged gas V6 to be offered from launch, which makes 333 horsepower in the A8, along with its 450 horsepower twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. A hybrid with a 48-volt electric drive system should also be available. We’re expecting the 2019 Audi A7 to make its official debut at either the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November or the 2018 Detroit Auto Show in January. Discuss this story on our Audi forum.  [Source: AutoWeek.NL] The post 2019 Audi A7 Styling Leaked Through Scale Model appeared first on AutoGuide.com News.
