I'd probably survive a second one, but a lot of people won't. A lot of people didn't survive the first one.

now i’m thinking about the poor coal hill kids that had two key subject teachers die horribly young one after the other (both of whom were in a romantic relationship together) i wouldn’t be surprised if some parents moved their children to a different school after that. wonder what ‘tragic accident’ they would have passed her disappearance off as — missing person case? attacked by a bird of prey? because clara isn’t technically dead, but she’s dead to the world. she’s gone. all that’s left of her is a name up there on the memorial board next to danny’s. to everybody other than the few people that inhabit the doctor’s world, this is final. they are never seeing miss oswald again. and, well, neither is he.
