Something I forgot to mention when I talked about the season 3 episode 1 script is that it revealed the exact year the Surly Sid soda was discontinued. According to the script, the soda was around between 1909 and 2013.
Now if we factor in when phones started to have the facetime option, which was around 2010, then that further helps narrow down the year Scratch became a ghost to sometime between 2010 and 2013.
Now lets say that the show’s first episode takes place in 2021 (the year the show first premires). Now we need to factor in that we’ve seen two Christmas episodes. Let’s say that the final episode ends in 2023. Alternatively, if the show was originally supposed to air in 2020, then the final episode is in 2022.
If my math is accurate, then Scratch lost his soul either in 2012 or 2013. (If it’s 2013, then the poor guy lost his body AND his favorite soda brand).
As a bonus, that might help determine the year Molly was born (unless we are given the exact year by Bill and Bob). And when I worked backward, I got either 2007 or 2008. (And interestingly enough, the Chinese zodiac animal personalities for those years–Pig and Rat–fit Molly perfectly. Furthermore, the Disney/Pixar movies that would have come out during those years were either Meet the Robinsons/Ratatouille or Bolt/Wall-E.)
But that’s just my guess.

wada sez: Based on the opening dialogue about the Autobots leaving Earth “ripe for the taking”, I can only assume that this was a tie-in to All Hail Megatron serving to introduce Marvel characters G.B. Blackrock and Circuit Breaker to IDW continuity. “R.A.A.T.” was the “Rapid Anti-robot Assault Team” from the Marvel comics, led by Circuit Breaker, here used in the title as a pun on the Chinese zodiac’s Year of the Rat. Obviously, this strip never went anywhere. Clean inks and colors below.

The first series of Lunar New Year postal stamps released by the United States Postal Service, 1992-2004
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, artist Clarence Lee was selected to design the first Chinese lunar stamp, the “Year of the Rooster.” Issued in 1992, the stamp met with such success that he continued to design the stamps for the rest of the twelve-year series. When designing the first stamp of the series, Lee created a distinctively modern and Chinese design, hence the paper-cut two dimensional look.
The Chinese Zodiac traditionally starts with the Year of the Rat, and subsequent USPS series have followed that order. As such, the next stamp release would not come until 2008.

September 2024 Horoscope: What’s In Store for Each Zodiac?
Astrology enthusiasts and those who follow feng shui will find September 2024 to be a month of interesting developments for each zodiac sign. Feng shui, meaning "wind and water," is often used to harmonize energies and can bring insight into how each sign will fare. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for each zodiac sign this month.
Rat
Birth Year: 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020 September Horoscope for Rat: This month, Rats may experience some tension as the Quarrelsome Star stirs up irritability and challenges in your interactions with others. The meaning behind feng shui energy shifts, like these, often indicates a period where you must focus on maintaining harmony. However, a positive aspect of this energy is the Ho Tu combination created by the annual and monthly stars, bringing leadership luck your way. This means that even amidst disagreements, you’ll be able to assert your authority and handle obstacles at work effectively. It's important to stay calm, as balanced emotions will help you manage any hurdles successfully.
Ox
Birth Year: 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021 September Horoscope for Ox: This month brings a surge in positive energy for the Ox, thanks to the Victory Star. According to the principles of feng shui, meaning energies that promote success and harmony, this period is filled with potential for windfalls, career advancements, and recognition. The Intellectual Ho Tu also favors the Ox, making this an excellent time for students and those in academic fields. With heightened creativity, it's the perfect opportunity to dive into artistic projects and generate innovative ideas.
Tiger
Birth Year: 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022 September Horoscope for Tiger: Tigers will find their luck improving as cosmic energies align to enhance both career and creative ventures. This is a time to explore new opportunities and aim for ambitious goals. By taking decisive action, Tigers stand to achieve remarkable successes and well-deserved recognition. For young student Tigers, the stars particularly favor academic pursuits, while those involved in creative fields will find this period especially fruitful and inspiring.
Rabbit
Birth Year: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011 September Horoscope for Rabbit: This could be a tough month for Rabbits, with challenges in work, relationships, and health. The principles of feng shui, meaning the balance of energies, suggest it might be best to maintain a low profile and defer major decisions until next month when the energies become more supportive. While it may be a difficult period, these troubles are short-lived, and keeping a steady, calm approach will help navigate through this temporary turbulence.
Dragon
Birth Year: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 September Horoscope for Dragon: Dragons can look forward to a positive shift as obstacles begin to clear, allowing projects to come to fruition. Recognition for your hard work is imminent, and some may even experience a financial windfall. Feng shui teachings emphasize trusting one's instincts, and this month is no exception. If you sense anything off with your health, it's wise to consult with a doctor promptly. Prevention, as always, is key to maintaining balance and well-being.
Snake
Birth Year: 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013 September Horoscope for Snake: Snakes will enjoy improved luck as the Heaven Star arrives, which helps to weaken the annual Illness Star. This shift brings better health and renewed energy. According to feng shui, meaning positive shifts in energy, the month will offer financial stability, potential windfalls, and increased recognition for your efforts. This period is a welcome respite, providing the chance to regain your balance and recover from any recent difficulties.
Horse
Birth Year: 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014 September Horoscope for Horse: The Illness Star influences the Horse’s sector, which may lead to health issues and drained energy. Incorporating regular exercise and prioritizing self-care is essential this month to mitigate these effects. On the bright side, the Ho Tu combination in your sector suggests financial opportunities. Understanding the feng shui meaning of such energy combinations can help you make the best of any financial windfalls and maintain a positive outlook despite the health challenges.
Goat
Birth Year: 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015 September Horoscope for Goat: Goats can expect a shift in their fortune as favorable stars converge in their sector. With the influence of the Academic and Romance Star, creativity, intelligence, and romantic prospects are on the rise. In feng shui, meaning the understanding of how energy affects aspects of life, these stars signify a period of productivity and rewards. The presence of the Ho Tu formation bodes well for business success, making it an opportune time for entrepreneurs and professionals to explore new ventures.
Monkey
Birth Year: 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016 September Horoscope for Monkey: Monkeys will feel a surge of intelligence and creativity with the arrival of the Literary Star. It’s a great time to network and form new connections, especially for younger Monkeys who are seeking growth opportunities. In feng shui, meaning the connection between people and their environment, maintaining strong relationships can lead to exciting personal and professional opportunities. Stay engaged and open-minded, and this could be a period of fruitful growth.
Rooster
Birth Year: 1945, 1933, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017 September Horoscope for Rooster: Roosters should proceed with caution this month as the Misfortune Star is amplified by the visiting Expansion Star. This can bring some risks, so it's crucial to move thoughtfully and avoid impulsive decisions. According to feng shui, meaning the harmonization of one’s environment, there are golden opportunities available, but a measured approach is best to make the most of them without falling into misfortune.
Dog
Birth Year: 1946, 1934, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018 September Horoscope for Dog: The Wealth Star brings a period of financial inflows, success, and happiness for the Dog. However, as its influence is weakened in Period 9, activating this star's energy is essential to fully benefit from its gifts. Feng shui’s meaning in this context is about balancing and enhancing your environment to attract positive energies. Set new goals and pursue them with vigor; the stars favor bold and active efforts.
Pig
Birth Year: 1947, 1935, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019 September Horoscope for Pig: Pigs continue to enjoy strong luck as the Wealth Star moves into their sector. This means positive results in all endeavors, but it's wise to remain humble in the face of success. With excellent wealth prospects, thriving relationships, and great vitality this month, maintaining an open mind and considering the opinions of others will help maximize the benefits of this period. In feng shui, meaning balanced energies, maintaining humility is key to ensuring continued good fortune.

2024 There be dragons
This is the year of the green wood dragon
This year is a year of magic. Your world is an enchanted forest and it is springtime. You are alone on your own path. But then you will meet the Dragon.
This is what I like about eastern zodiac – not only do we individually have the attributes of the sign of the year we were born in, additionally each year itself has its own zodiac character and aspects.
The Wood element this year is a symbol of new growth and budding opportunities. Initial growth may be unseen, so patience is required while things germinate. And the incredible energy burst of any wood year will slow and die back with the coming winter. So do as much as you can in the spring and summer months.
That 2023 Black Water Rabbit washed away the remnants and ruins, and wiped the slate clean.
The 2024 Green Wood Dragon is the dragon god known as the Azure Dragon, the dragon from the east that rules the spring time, a season of vitality and growth.
You are still in the woods. We are not going back to the barnyard until 2028! Rabbit loved freedom and social gratification. But the social melee is over. The Dragon is mythical, magical, and demanding of reverence. But you never encounter more than one Dragon at a time. While the occasional festival or feast is pleasing to Dragon, Dragon is a solitary being. This is a year where all your hopes and dreams will be yours alone. It is a year of personal growth and individual quests. But this is not a year for meditation or inaction – The Azure Dragon is not a sleeper. It is a young and thirsty dragon, breaking out of its shell, pushing upward to the surface, climbing towards light, unfolding, expanding, branching out. And it is not some frail and tender little shoot – this is a dragon! This sprout is Jack’s magic beanstalk climbing to the castle in the clouds.
There is tranquility in a Dragon year because Dragon doesn’t like noisy bickering, shouting or fighting. And who is there to fight anyway, when you are alone, with the Dragon? You don’t win when you fight a Dragon, not even if you are one. Because this year is so individualized, extra care and attention should be given to your own physical and mental health. Adopt an exercise routine, an improved diet, find a therapist, find a masseuse, go to the dentist, get your eyes checked, manage your stress, get plenty of sleep and drink more water. Wear more comfortable shoes. Use sunscreen. Use lip balm. Wear a hat. Don’t suffer with the aches and pains – seek treatment, seek healing.
Remember that above and throughout it all, 2024 will be the Year of the Wooden Green Dragon, a magical year of change in fortune, of new growth. But it is all at a very personal level. Your friends are still your friends, and they are still there for you, but your achievements will be largely due to your own efforts. Any assistance you receive from others is going to be professional services you pay for, or advice or encouragement from friends and interest (therapy) groups. Nobody is going to put time or money into plans that do not at least equally benefit them. Networking for business is going to be very competitive and overshadow all social interactions this year because everyone has an agenda, and Dragon is baking a giant, luscious pie that everyone wants a slice of. Needless to say, your personal journey is going to be yours alone.
Note: I added the years for each animal sign, but remember if you are born in January, you are ruled by the previous year’s animal sign because the Chinese New Year does not usually begin until February.
Rat (1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020): You are equally at home in the jungle as you are in the barnyard, and you prefer to move under cover of darkness. This year we are all still in the woods, but it is not the jungle. It is the enchanted forest. You are crafty and sly and you move easily through the labyrinth of your own design. But Dragon is everywhere. Underground, above ground, in the sky and in the water. This is to say that you will not be able to evade yourself. Dragon wants you to live out your own biggest dream, which, because Rat has a natural streak of self-interest, works out well this year. Rat is also astute enough to take Dragon’s wise advice. The only impediment to Rat’s success is Rat’s own tendency to be slightly lazy when comfortable. Don’t slow your pace or dawdle because the enchanted forest is a nice, safe place to be. Keep moving forward. The Azure Dragon gives a real boost to your energy levels and there is a luck star this year with your name on it that suggests, beyond the steady cash flow from your own efforts, you may even receive a surprise windfall or two this year. Of your zodiac triad of friendship with Dragon and Monkey, Rat is the most likely to reap financial rewards this year, owing to Rat’s superior sense of timing and non-confrontational approach. There are no obstacles to bar your way other than yourself. The Azure Dragon brings change and growth, so focus your energy on the changes and growth that benefit you, before others. It is easy to avoid criticism (particularly from your frenemy, Horse) this year because everyone is focused on themselves, but remain tactful in your communications to avoid misunderstandings. Also, since you can’t escape yourself this year, be sure to leverage the Azure Dragon’s extra energy to improve your own physical and mental health. Include critical self-care in your new frenzy of activity. Your secret zodiac friend, Ox, needs to follow the same advice, so perhaps you can team up to got to the gym, the spa, the clinic or the group therapy sessions together.
Ox (1949, 1961,1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021): The Azure Dragon brings spring and new growth. And while Ox isn’t much into magic, the magic of springtime is the exception. Ox doesn’t much care for Dragons either, but the Azure Dragon is young and brings the Ox extra vigor and stamina. This is a year of optimism and enthusiasm that Ox should partake of. Don’t focus on the negative. Change is coming this year and Ox needs to be open to change, and flexible about growth. Ox has a good work ethic and does not overthink things so Ox should be able to plow through personal obstacles and follow their true path this year. Because this is a highly personalized year, Ox needs to be very attentive to their own physical and mental healthcare. Don’t ignore the pain – see your doctors, and remind your secret zodiac pal, Rat, to do the same. Your zodiac triad friends, Snake and Rooster are there for you. Snake is a font of creative ideas and the most likely of your zodiac triad to financially benefit from the changes this year. So, let Snake inspire you to set some exciting goals. Rooster is very good at organizing and can offer you very good financial advice. Goat, your zodiac frenemy, is going to be a bit lonely without the social limelight so their interactions with everyone will be more conciliatory. Don’t get distracted or waste your time being annoyed by their more liberal attitudes and lifestyle. You need to do you, and ignore what others are doing to themselves.
Tiger (1938,1950,1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022): Tigers are solitary hunters so the very individual quest and its challenges this year are satisfying and enjoyable to Tiger. Unlike the Black Water Rabbit, the Azure Dragon does not ask Tiger to shoulder the great burdens of leadership or fight the Herculean battles for the benefit of others. Tiger should pick and choose their social engagements to suit themselves. And Tiger should decline to become embroiled in the personal problems of others. Black Water Rabbit has cleared away the mess made by the Black Water Tiger, and the Azure Dragon is here to guide you forward on your personal journey. Black Water Tiger and Black Water Rabbit both favored freedom, albeit in the form of carnage and purging. But the Azure Dragon is bringing you freedom of mind and spirit. Obstacles are minimal this year and personal achievements come easily and in considerable number. Tiger needs to take time to relax and savor the bounty. No clawing, no mauling, no roaring are necessary because you are alone on this path so any sort of lashing out has no effect on anyone but you. Because the Tiger is noble and never nefarious, you will not be delayed by any self- deception. Dogs (in your friendship triad) ever your loyal supporters and optimistic about everything you design, will offer you no criticism of any plan you envision. Horses, also in your friendship triad, share your love of freedom and will likewise heartily concur with your plans, whatever they may be. Pigs (Tiger’s secret friend) have the Midas touch this year so you will benefit financially from any contact you have with them. Monkey (Tiger’s zodiac frenemy) is easily avoided because they are running around in the enchanted forest playing hide and seek with themselves.
Rabbit (1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011): 2023 was your 12th year review and reset year. The Black Water Rabbit washed the slate clean. The next phase of your life begins auspiciously with the springtime magic of the Azure Dragon. Change is coming, so you must be open to change and you must be ready to take to the road. Azure Dragon wants you to take a big leap forward. Rabbits are social and pretty and loving, but the Dragon wants you to set your sights high and leave everyone else in your dust. No hippity hopping along for you. You have speed and the Dragon is going to give you extra stamina. No lollygagging – you are a social creature but this year your socializing will be networking and consulting with professionals. Dog (your secret friend in the zodiac) is loyal to a fault and can detoured from their own quest to help you on yours. Your triad zodiac friend, Pig, is working magic of their own this year and slopping success all over anyone who comes near them – stick tight. Your friend, Goat, is incredibly social, like Rabbit, and really missing the limelight. So perhaps Goat and Rabbit will lean on each other for reassurance, mutual affirmation and good company this year. Your zodiac frenemy the Rooster is to be avoided, but that shouldn’t be difficult since everyone going their own road this year. And friend or foe, when it comes to business, everyone just wants a slice of The Pie this year, nothing personal.
Dragon (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012): This is the year of your 12-year reset – the Black Water Rabbit has washed the slate clean. You are shriven of all your impediments and anything that might have been holding you back. Hopefully you took time the past year to take stock of your position and you are ready to plot your course for the next phase of your journey. The Year of the Wooden Green Dragon is a magical year of change and growth on a very personal level. When dragons make plans, they are, unsurprisingly, grandiose and overconfident. Changes you decide to make may be sweeping and sudden. It will be very unsettling for your nearest and dearest and may lead to friction in the home. You risk being perceived as autocratic and self-centered. Older dragons whose vast experience has taught them patience and empathy, will be able to implement their grand designs without causing widespread panic or bruising their loved ones’ feelings. Your triad zodiac friends Rat and Monkey are not particularly useful to you this year. Dragons don’t really need inspiration or wisdom from others. Rat will be intimidated by your grand ambitions and you don’t recognize their superior sense of timing. Monkey will be astute enough to see that your plans don’t afford Monkey any great benefit and lose interest. Indeed, while it will be a year of great change and opportunity, Rat and Monkey are more mundane and practical than Dragon, and therefore more likely than Dragon to turn a profit. The opportunities are there, but Dragon needs to be very attentive and honest (with themselves) in their financial dealings this year if they want to succeed. Your secret zodiac friend, Rooster, is your most reliable resource and is one of four zodiac signs that will benefit most from the Azure Dragon, so heed their financial advice. Your frenemy, Dog, is no concern to you this year since Dog is far afield on its own hunt. Tigers and Dogs, while not your friends, are both exceptionally well behaved this year (no roaring or barking – Dragons don’t like being yelled at), so business dealings with either will not be out of the question. But, since everyone is jostling to get in a slice of The Pie, business with just about anyone can’t be ruled out.
Snake (1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013): The slate is clean, there is magic in the air and snake has the creativity to turn every opportunity to their advantage. In addition, the Azure Dragon provides extra energy to get Snake moving. This is the last year before your own 12 year re-set so this is a year for picking and choosing what you will jettison and what you will take with you. Whatever life aspects, issues or problems you have been neglecting in recent years or months will be brought into the spotlight early this year and you will have to deal with them – you cannot continue to carry them. This is a year of change, so you might as well curate the changes. Snake is not afraid to be alone, so the individuality of this year will not upset Snake. The same cannot be said for your loved ones, however, who are going to feel neglected when you take your show on the road. The social aspects of the year will all be business-related and you will be able to showcase your talents in ways that lead to your promotion in business. This can even be one of those rare years where you earn more than you spend. However, you must commit to a budget if you want to come out ahead. Your zodiac friends Ox and Rooster need your vision and creativity this year for inspiration. Unfortunately, they have little to offer in return, so remain focused on your own endeavors. Your secret friend, Monkey is going to be having a banner year, so if you can get their attention, they have valuable information. Your frenemy the Pig is buried so deep in their own gold mines this year there will be little friction between you, and you might even get a lift from their tailwinds.
Horse (1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014): Freedom! And this time it is beyond the freedom of the physical realm. Dragon offers freedom of the mind and spirit. Change is coming this year, and Horse may experience a profound revision of values or a noticeable personality shift. The Azure Dragon brings the springtime and a lot of energy. Horse will be feeling frisky and even a bit flirtatious. The first half of the year will be profoundly introspective, and the results of some sole searching will manifest outwardly in the second half of the year. Horse must remember that happiness is not something that happens to them, but something that they create. They should not cling to old, rigid or comfortable plans that don’t serve them anymore. They should be flexible and adaptable to the changing times and circumstances. Good communication skills (for which they are known) will be essential. But they must quell their disdain (for which they are also known) in order to coop others into serving Horse’s interests. Additionally, we are living in the technological age, and better technologies can simply be purchased to aid in your endeavors so invest in the best. Triad friends Tiger and Dog can offer moral support as Horse transitions. Dog, loyal to a fault, can be diverted from their own quest to help you with yours. For this triad of signs, Tiger Horse Dog, this year is not a significant year for health or wealth, but has significant personal satisfaction to be gained from reprioritizing and reordering life to suit yourself. Secret friend, Goat, can offer you companionship because Goat is feeling lonely without the social whirlwind. Frenemy Rat is somewhere deep in the labyrinth with a Dragon, so forget about them.
Goat (1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015): The social melee of last year is over and everyone has gone their separate ways. Goat is a people pleaser by default but this year the Dragon has taken away Goat’s audience. Goat needs to look to their own needs for once. Stop giving everything away indiscriminately for attention, for flattery, for reassurance. You need to start asking what pleases you, and demand a fair exchange from others for all that you give. There are abundant opportunities in the Dragon year, but Goat must be very attentive to money management and budgeting to be financially successful. Socializing this year will be overshadowed by business networking, and Goat needs to beware being romantically seduced by people who only want Goat to invest in their business ventures. In business, Goat will face a lot of stiff competition and needs to really look after their own interests first. Your zodiac triad friend the Rabbit and secret friend Horse can provide you with safe and enjoyable society. Rabbit is like you – pretty and kind and social. Rabbit is very high octane this year but could use the gentle and trustworthy companionship you provide. Horse is doing some deep soul searching and could use an occasional break from themselves. Your triad friend Pig is rolling in riches this year and is a good role model and an inspiration. Your frenemy the Ox is keeping a steady pace, plowing their own field. Because of their personal integrity and fiscal conservatism, they are actually one of the safer business partners you could have this year.
Monkey (1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016): Monkeys are very good at tricks and deception, and half-truths, and have lots of secrets. Hopefully you escaped having your shorts pulled down by the Black Water Rabbit last year. Good news is the Azure Dragon isn’t here to embarrass you or publicly humiliate you. This is a year of very personal growth. All monkey’s tricks and deception mean nothing this year. Yes, monkeys can trick dragons. But this year we are each alone with the Azure Dragon, so if you choose to be deceptive, you are only going to fool yourself. You are a good problem solver and this year the problems you solve are your own. Don’t allow yourself to be distracted or dissuaded from your own goals and aspirations. Opportunities abound and the Azure Dragon is here to turbo charge your drive and mental acuity. This is a banner year for Monkey. Of all the zodiac signs, Monkey stands to benefit most from the Azure Dragon’s oppotunities. There is a lot of energy and growth this year, and a lot of competition and drive. Monkey has the advantage of being swift, strong and highly intelligent. And, friend or foe notwithstanding, Monkey looks out for Monkey’s own interests, always. While 2024 is exhilarating and the rewards are great, your home life is likely to suffer if you do not proactively take time out to relax with loved ones. Likewise, you must make time for self-care and maintain a strict regime of diet and exercise to keep yourself healthy so you can run this year to it’s finish line.
Rooster (1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017): The Black Water Rabbit exposed a lot of very dirty laundry, but none of it was yours. Everyone’s laundry has now been washed, folded and put away. Bygones are bygones and it is time to move forward. As a domesticated animal, and a conservative, Rooster would seem to have little use for dragons, or magic. But recall, Rooster’s Pheonix routine of immolation and reincarnating themselves is actually pretty mythic. And like any beast, the springtime and new growth the Azure Dragon brings elicits an innate response. Rebirth is something the Pheonix is a master of. So, the Rooster will heed the Azure Dragon’s call and conceptualized some really tremendous and outsized plans. The Azure Dragon is going to put the Rooster’s gumption and cockiness on steroids this year. Rooster needs to work hard and be patient to achieve these big goals, and must remain very fiscally conservative. Home life is going to suffer a bit if Rooster can’t check that know-it-all, authoritarian attitude at the door. Love is not in the cards this year, just money (oh gee, darn!). Friends, enemies, something in between – the distinctions don’t really matter this year because your goals are your own and your success rests solely with you.
Dog (1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2017): If you heeded the Black Water Rabbit’s call to renew your commitment to action and self-determination in 2023, then you are ready to trot along beside the Azure Dragon on your own quest for personal fulfillment. You are ready to be your own master. You have carried the day for everyone else’s cause. Now put away your hero cape, the crown of laurels, and be ready to serve yourself. The Azure Dragon is good to Dog, and everyone generally. And because Dog is honest, you suffer no illusions about your own abilities and won’t get delayed lying to yourself. But don’t be too hard on yourself either! It’s spring time and there is much cause for optimism. You are off leash in a gosh darn enchanted forest so don’t you even think about being glum or grumpy! Don’t rain on the Dragon’s parade by fixating on the short comings of others or by being pessimistic. There will be many changes and the path has some zigs and zags in store for all, but no harm will come to Dog. Your entire triad, Tiger Horse Dog, is going to have a rather indifferent year in terms of health and wealth. So, the changes and growth will really be in perspective and priorities. Do prioritize selfcare, your own mental and physical health. Prioritize your home and loved ones, and generally the people and things that bring you the most comfort and joy. But do not be self-sacrificing and do not be detoured from your own quest by the noble impulse to rescue everyone else. Any windfall your receive this year will be purely luck, not a reward for service to others. In business (and this year it is all business) everyone is looking to leverage extra resources. Beware the sob stories, damsels in distress or outright romance scams. Don’t write any personal guarantees. Do read the fine print and know what you are signing. Be frugal and use your resources to polish your skills, your education and your good health and looks. You don’t need to make a million dollars this year, but you need to look like a million dollars by the beginning of next year when the Green Wood Snake arrives and we all have to shed our skins and appear shiny and new. Next year will also be a Wood element year, so use this year to position and prepare yourself to really reap next year’s bounty.
Pig (1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019): The momentum in the Tiger year was heady. The Black Water Rabbit gave you a blank slate and asked you to step up and orchestrate a better society. Everyone should be very grateful for your efforts. But society will have to take a back seat and stop demanding so much of you this year. You have an appointment with the Azure Dragon to rebuild your own life and pursue your own dreams. That magic beanstalk is about to rocket skyward with you on it. You are King Midas with the golden touch. This year overflows with opportunity, so be selective. And be patient! Don’t bother with the fast cash or anything too good to be true. Hold out for the real deal. You are a powerhouse even on a bad day. This year the Azure Dragon gives you extra strength and stamina. Be careful not to let all that extra activity and heightened senses wear you down. Take the time to sure up your health, both mental and physical so that you can take full advantage of the Dragon’s extra boost. This is a year to consult with specialists and get extra tests done for whatever ailments afflict you, even minor aches and pains. Prioritize yourself. Pig’s physical health is also greatly affected by Pig’s mental state, so prioritize your own happiness and peace of mind.

Fengshui - September 2023
As the vibrant hues of autumn start to paint the world around us, we step into the month of September—a time of transition and renewal. In the realm of Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese practice of harmonizing the energies in our environment, each month brings with it a unique blend of energies that can impact our lives in various ways. To embrace the balance and positivity that September offers, let's explore Feng Shui tips tailored to each of the Chinese Zodiac signs. Rat (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020) For the Rat, September brings a favorable energy for personal growth and creativity. Enhance your workspace with earthy tones and elements like pottery or clay objects. Consider placing a small indoor plant to nurture fresh ideas and tranquility. Ox (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021) This month, the Ox can benefit from strengthening relationships and social connections. To enhance this energy, focus on the southwest sector of your home. Decorate with pairs of objects, such as candles or figurines, to symbolize harmony and companionship. Tiger (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010) September encourages the Tiger to channel its energy towards self-care and introspection. Create a serene corner in your living space with calming colors and soft textures. Adding a water feature, like a small tabletop fountain, can evoke a sense of tranquility and balance. Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011) For the Rabbit, September is a time to focus on financial matters and career advancement. Place a wealth-enhancing symbol, such as a money plant or a wealth vase, in the southeast sector of your home. Keep your workspace organized and clutter-free to invite abundance. Dragon (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012) The Dragon can harness September's energy for learning and personal growth. Dedicate a space for reading and contemplation, and fill it with books and knowledge-enhancing items. Earthy colors and grounding elements will help maintain focus. Snake (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013) This month encourages the Snake to cultivate strong bonds with loved ones. Spend time in the eastern area of your home, enhancing it with family photos and sentimental objects. Use gentle lighting to create an inviting atmosphere for heartfelt conversations. Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014) September favors the Horse's pursuit of adventure and personal growth. Infuse your living space with lively colors and travel-inspired decor. Display a world map or artwork that resonates with your aspirations for exploration. Goat (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015) For the Goat, September brings an opportunity to focus on health and well-being. Dedicate a space for relaxation and meditation, incorporating natural elements like plants and soothing scents. Soft lighting and serene colors will aid in cultivating tranquility. Monkey (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016) This month encourages the Monkey to harness its innovative spirit and explore new ideas. Create a dynamic workspace with vibrant colors and stimulating decor. Incorporate symbols of creativity, such as art supplies or inspirational quotes. Rooster (1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017) September favors the Rooster's organizational skills and attention to detail. Focus on decluttering and organizing your living and workspace. Utilize storage solutions and keep your environment tidy for enhanced productivity.
