Narnia 30 Day Challenge 2024

Day 2: Favorite movie?

My favorite movie is the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! I was between Prince Caspian and LWW, but ultimately, LWW wins that fight. This was my first introduction to the Narnia world, and I fell in love!

The sets, the visuals, the music, all of it. It was like being transported to another world watching this. Plus, this movie still holds up to this day despite coming out almost 20 years ago!

Something that i think helps this movie be even better is the talent of its lead child actors. The actors who played the Pevensies were just so very good, and they really held their own against veteran actors (in all the movies tbh). You felt every emotion with them and they really encapsulated the Pevensies.

Another aspect i love is the music. I still listen to this soundtrack to this very day. The music is epic and mystical and tragic and beautiful. I absolutely love it.

Also, the additions they made from the books are just perfect. Actually seeing the battle of beruna was amazing and getting to feel all of those moments were awesome.

This movie is one of my absolute favorites!

Currently she has her gaze turned toward the sky and its cruelly-beautiful blue, probably because Elena is already covered in blood from the fall.

If Elena were to be honest with herself, she’d say that Ava looks like she is afraid. It seems wrong on her, like clothes that don’t fit right.
