Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck's (plus Phooey) Birthday Party as well as April, May, and June Duck's Birthday Party and Easter Party - Egg Beating - Donald's Birthday Party - Quack Pack AU - Duckverse - My Version
Even though I know it's past, I wish everyone a happy Easter once again, according to the Julian calendar, as well as the one that has passed, as well as a happy belated birthday to Huey, Dewey and Louie and a happy birthday to April, May and June. And together with their friends and relatives. And they are present at Donald's jubilee 90th birthday. I drew as the end of the celebration of the Easter holidays as well as the birthday of the best triplets for this year.
On April 15, 1938, the famous trio appeared in the classic Donald Duck short, called “Donald’s Nephews”, which will change the history of the Duckverse in part. Also April, May and June as Daisy's nieces first appeared in the June 30, 1953 "Flip Decision" comic strip by Carl Barks and have been part of the Duckverse ever since. Certainly to all who are Orthodox (especially those who celebrate according to the Julian calendar and who celebrate after the Jewish Passover) who live in Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Armenia, Greece, Serbia, Cyprus, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Ukraine, Montenegro, North Macedonia and to all Orthodox people living around the world, I wish you a happy Easter! Christ is risen! Христос васкресе!
If someone asks me, yes, it is celebrated differently among the Orthodox and differently among the Catholics and Protestants, so it turned out to be a completely different Easter this year. Don’t worry, there will be a joint Easter next year. So Orthodox Easter fell on this day. The day he was crucified and died, resurrected and defeated death and the devil and proved that there is eternal life for all of us who believe. Glory to Jesus Christ who died for all of us sinners and rose again for all of us to save us!
This time Louie Duck and Zeca Carioca found themselves together and applied one traditional Serbian custom for Easter, and that is beating eggs, hitting egg on egg. The one who hits well and leaves that egg undamaged, is the winner. So I put them on this time too. And don’t worry, they don’t eat eggs, they are mostly artificial eggs. ;)
Yes, I drew as a combination from Quack Pack, Donald Duck comics (Italian, Danish and Dutch comics), The Legend of The Three Caballeros, OG Ducktales and Ducktales reboot, Darkwing Duck and certainly from Ze Carioca comics (Brazilian comics), where mostly teenagers, but there are also preteens. Mostly all part of my Quack Pack AU. Some are happy and some are unhappy. There are also Easter eggs and birthday cake as well as strawberries. There in this drawing are Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck (Donald's nephews), April, May and June Duck (Daisy's nieces), Phooey Duck (fourth nephew), Zico and Zeca Carioca (Jose's nephews), Gosalyn Mallard, Honker Muddlefoot (Darkwing Duck), Webby Vanderquack, Gene the Genie (OG Ducktales), Minima De Spell (Magica's niece), Sonny Seagull (Garvey Gull), Newton Gearloose (Gyro's nephew), Dugan Duck (Fethry's nephew) and finally Shamrock Gander (Gladstone's nephew).
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this, just don't use these same ideas of mine without mentioning me. Thank you! Also Happy Easter to everyone once again and Happy Birthday to Donald's nephews and Daisy's nieces!
This is also a gift for my friends @isabellanajera, @you-big-palooka, @elmer-dat-gander , @fantasticenthusiasttale and @barbiedisneyavenger as well as for a friend who recently celebrated her birthday, happy birthday dear @nuvemzinhacorderosa! I hope you like this!

Happy late 70th posthumous birthday, Philece Sampler (July 16th, 1953 - July 1, 2021)
Today, or rather Yesterday, would've been Philece Sampler's 70th birthday had it not been for her heart attack-induced death 2 years prior on July 1st, 2021. Here's a list of her recognizable roles (most of which were replaced after her passing):
Mimi Tachikawa and Cody Hida - Digimon series (up until Last Evolution Kizuna, where Kate Higgins took over the role of the former)
Beauty - Bobobo-bo Bo-bobobo (personal favorite)
Older Toph Beifong - The Legend of Korra
Hiyori Tamura - Lucky Star
Taokaka - the BlazBlue series from Calamity Trigger to Chronophantasma (including the Alter Memory anime)
Mataro Mankanshoku - Kill la Kill
Taeko Minazuki - Ai Yori Aoshi
Lester Goldberg - Stanley
Sabine Cheng - Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noire (Season 1 to 4; Anne Yatco took over the role)
Mia and Niime - Fire Emblem Heroes (Anne Yatco would also take over the roles of the two characters)
----
Tumblr media
A heartwarming fact is that one of her final roles according to her IMDb page was Lumber Jane from the Ba Da Bean episode "Secret Santa" (albeit under to pseudonym of "Robyn Weeks")
Thank you Philece Sampler, for being the voice of our favorite characters. May your soul rest in peace 🙏🕯

on M*A*S*H’s chronology It’s impossible to resolve M*A*S*H’s overall internal watsonian chronology from dates given in the dialog and with such uncontested statements as that Hot Lips’ engagement to Penobscott lasted eight months. So I posit each season of M*A*S*H took place in a different but similar, internally consistent alternate universe. A few examples:
In the universe where Season 1 occurred, Henry’s wife was named Mildred, Hot Lips’ father was dead, Hawkeye’s mother was alive, and the events documented probably took place between January 1951 and June 1952.
In the universe of Season 4, in which according to voiceover Potter took command on 19 September 1952, the events of e.g. Season 1 must have occurred approximately January 1951 to middle 1951, and the events of Season 4 will have occurred between September 1952 and, say, January 1953. Henry’s wife was named Lorraine and Potter’s was named Mildred.*
In the universe of Season 9 featuring A War For All Seasons documenting events from January 1951 to January 1952, the events of Seasons 1-8 must all be compressed into four to six months before January 1951. This is not at all possible, so clearly not all the events of Seasons 1-8 can have actually occurred. Also, by this far up the timelines, Hot Lips’ father is still alive and Hawkeye’s mother died when he was young.
For the universe of Season 11, I divide the duration of the Korean War into eleven equal parts, and this is the universe my M*A*S*H prose and cartoon fanfiction is set in.
The events of AfterM*A*S*H and W*A*L*T*E*R are set airdate minus thirty years, as suggested by the legend at the beginning of W*A*L*T*E*R. In the M*A*S*H universe now it’d be August 1994, which is years after even the last events portrayed on Trapper John, M.D. **
*Yet Season 4 is still impossible because 1) in Change of Command Potters’ first surgery session is also B.J.’s first surgery session 2) in The Bus B.J. says he spent a week under Frank’s command 3) in The Interview B.J. says he performed several amputations before he had his first breakfast there. this is the sort of thing there is to deal with (my cartoons deal with it here)
**Except in my cartoons I jumped to the present somewhere down the line, with Hawkeye complaining about his hundredth birthday in a cartoon set on his actual hundredth birthday relative to the air schedules of everything else in my crossover paradigm.
i think i'm starting to figure this out

Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue, Vietnam
February 24, 2024
Thien Mu Pagoda also referred to as the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady (or Heavenly Lady), stands on the banks of the Perfume River. To get to this pace we took a boat ride on the Perfume river.
Tumblr media
...Dragon boat ride on the Perfume river.
This iconic seven-story pagoda is a one of the most revered religious sites in Vietnam...
Tumblr media
The most striking feature of the pagoda is the seven-story tower, erected in 1884, that has become the unofficial symbol of Hue.
The name of the pagoda derives from a special legend.  A long time ago, an old woman appeared on the hill where the pagoda stands today, telling the local people that a Lord would come and build a Buddhist pagoda for the country’s prosperity. Nguyen Hoang, governor of the local province, hearing this legend, ordered the construction of the pagoda the “Heaven Fairy Lady” or Thiên Mụ in Vietnamese.

During the summer of 1963, Thien Mu Pagoda, like many in South Vietnam, became a hotbed of anti-government protest. South Vietnam’s Buddhist had long been discontented with the rule of President Ngo Dinh Diem since his rise to power in 1955. Diem had shown strong favoritism towards Catholics and discrimination against Buddhists in the army, public service and distribution of government aid. Discontent with Diem exploded into mass protest in Hue during the summer of 1963 when nine Buddhists died at the hand of Diem’s army and police on Vesak, the birthday of Gautama Buddha. Accordingly, Buddhist protests were held across the country and steadily grew in size. In those historical days, Thien Mu Pagoda was a major organizing point for the Buddhist movement and was often the location of hunger strikes, barricades and protests.

The Relic
Tumblr media
On 2 November 1963, Ngo Dình Diem, the president of South Vietnam, was arrested and assassinated in a successful CIA-backed coup led by a military General. Later, John Kennedy, the U.S. President, is said to have moaned, wanting to know if we could have simply overthrown him without killing him.
(Diem's 1963 overthrow appears to have similarities with the CIA's role (& U.K.'s MI16) in the overthrow in 1953 of Mosaddegh, the Iranian Prime Minister, and replacing him with an Emperor, the Shah. The Iranian's discontent with the Shah and our then continued support of him, later left us with the Ayatollahs who are still nursing a 70-year grudge against us.)
The coup was the culmination of nine years of Diem's autocratic and nepotistic family rule.
