Wyss [Stefan Wyss at Gadget ABC Entertainment] adds, “He’s kept the ticket prices reasonable – and he never wants to do any gold circle or VIP tickets. I think that’s why he’s so close to his fans, because it’s not about maximising profits. Another reason for his success is that in addition to attracting a mainstream audience, he’s also getting the music lovers because he’s just a very good songwriter and has brilliant songs.”

“In terms of the show growing, our biggest challenge is keeping costs down, because we’re extremely cautious on ticket pricing,” says Vines [Matt Vines, Louis’ manager]. “We don’t do dynamic pricing, we don’t do platinum ticketing, we don’t do paid VIPs, we don’t increase ticket prices on aisle seats – all those tricks that everyone does that most fans don’t know about: we don’t do any of those.”

Rowland [Holly Rowland, Louis’ touring agent] reveals that, at the artist’s insistence, a safety team has been added to the tour to ensure everyone that attends his shows is looked after. “They manage all the safety within the shows for the fans,” she explains. “They came in for the Wembley show last year and have been with us ever since - they’ve been beneficial to the running of the tour.

Dowling [Jack Dowling at SJM] adds, “Louis really looks after his fans. On the last tour, they did a deal with Greggs to give free food to the people waiting in line, as some of them camped out for days in advance.”

With Tomlinson determined to meet a duty of care toward his fans, Vines says that the team now sends a “considerable advance package” to promoters ahead of their tour dates. “Our safety team goes into venues in the morning, and basically ensures that a number of different things are in place – making sure that water is given to the fans, where the water comes from, and at what points in the show it happens.”

The festival is being held in celebration of the return of live music this summer following more than 16 months of Covid 19 restrictions. As his own world tour is completely sold out, Tomlinson wanted to make tickets for this event completely free for fans via a prize draw.

Louis Tomlinson said: "I’ve been sat on this idea for the last 12 months at least and now to see it come to life makes me very excited. Personally, playing live shows is the best part of what I do and it’s been far too long since I've seen my fans, so I wanted to put this festival on to say thank you for all the support and celebrate the return of live music. I’ve got a really good feeling it’s going to be a really special night. We all deserve that!"

🌊Latin name: Glaucus atlanticus

🌊Common name: Blue sea dragon, Sea swallow, Blue angel, Dragon slug

🌊Family: Glaucidae

Probably the most well known sea slug on the internet, famous for its interesting appearance and many videos of people handling it.

🌐Found throughout the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans in tropical and subtropical waters. They appear mostly on the surface, floating on its back - an air bubble in its stomach helping it maintain buoyancy. That does mean they can accidentaly wash up on beaches, hence many videos of people handling it.

💫 Fun fact: A group of blue glaucuses floating together is called a “blue fleet.”

🖍Their coloration is an example of countershading - its bright blue underside helps the blue glaucus blend into the water’s surface while its grayish backside helps it blend into the ocean when spotted from below, camouflaging it from both flying and swimming predators while floating in open water.

🍽 This silly guy is a predator. It hunts larger marine organisms, e.g. plant Physalia physalis, the polyp Porpita porpita or the snail Janthina janthina. Occasionally, some individuals may resort to c-nnib-lism.

⚠️As mentioned before, these nudibranches feed on what is called Portuguese Man-O’-war (Physalia physalis) - venomous prey - which also makes them venomous. This venom is stored in the ceratas (refer to picture above; dark blue finger like ceratas), the more Physalia it eats -> the more concentrated the venom will be.

MYSTERIOUS NEW DEPTH

This has been a good meditation but I don’t know how! Let me explain.

I kept meditating at a decent depth of mind. I kept at it because I felt that I could get deeper than where I found myself. I was meditating at a depth of mind that’s far from the senses. Also, my attention wasn’t mine to control. My attention had hooked onto Peace early in the meditation and was going along with Peace’s flow.

Thanks to 5 months of perceiving sounds during my meditations, now at certain depths of mind, my attention is habitually turning to the spot where I last heard the flow of Life Energies. I ‘heard’ only rare and faint clicks and clacks through the bulk of the session. They came from the centre of my head. Them clicks and clacks got loud only towards the end of those 83 minutes. Again, they came from where I imagine the centre of the base of my brain is.

There are many years in my 2 decades plus practice when I have experienced a certain pattern with regards depth of meditation. When I am outgrowing a certain depth of mind, the peculiarities of that depth appear towards the end of the session.

The end keeps coming progressively earlier in successive sessions until I begin establishing myself with the peculiarities of the new found depth. The new found depth is often where my attention begins the meditation with. Then, depending on the peculiarities of the new depth, my attention will remain with it for a long or short period of time.

Once the attention, in any given session, runs out of steam with the new depth, it will return to an earlier depth and that’s my cue to stop the session. The issue with last night’s meditation is that I am unable to observe the peculiarities of the new depth. And that’s why I am left with a real feeling of not having arrived at greater depths.

If I perceived percussion like chakra sounds towards the end of the session, then there is a good chance that it was the relatively shallow part of my meditation. Perceiving the movement of Life Energies with the help of an interiorised sense of hearing, is fast becoming a meditation level that I am outgrowing!

It does sound like a blessing but I have absolutely no idea about the new level that is replacing the one I am outgrowing.

Hungover so feel a deep sense of Shame and despair. Odd how 'normal' this is now for me when I drink the night before. Just appalling really. I feel a real sense of misery. I got messaged about my mother recently and the guilt has flared up today big style. I worry that I should be doing more for her but I have real concerns I am not able to support her effectively and might end up really hurting myself in the process. It's grim. I wish I was capable of helping her but our relationship is so strained and combative and we behave so badly with one another and I haven't been able to course correct with the power of my own improvement only.
