🌹 Her handy skills was taught by her Older Cousin and her father. For she was very inspired by it.

BACKGROUND STORY:

Rosa was born and raised in Las Almas. She lives in a house with her parents and her three sisters. And she is also close with her three cousins, who lived next door. Living with their parents as well.

Most people know them by helping out everyone in Las Almas. By fixing their cars, their home, fixing broken pipes. ANYTHING. They are like the handyman. Rosa was very inspired by them and wanted to try it too.

So her Older Cousin, named Abel, teached her how to fix things. Even her father agreed to teach her as well. She got a hang of it and started helping her father and her Uncle whenever they go somewhere to assist people.

She usually goes with them after school.

She loves her family very much. And she would do anything to help to provide money for them. One day!

Rosa’s beauty was also very mesmerizing. Even her older sister, named Victoria. She always looked up to her seeing her beautiful face and body. Should thank their mother’s genes.

These two would always do each other’s make up and fix each other’s hair. It grew them so close even along with their other two younger sisters.

She even enjoys being with her cousins’ company as well. Her, her sisters, her cousins, her parents, her aunt and uncle. There’s nothing that she could ask for more.

Until before the day of the Son of La Araña incidents.

Rosa, who was in her 20s on that day, had found something suspicious with her Aunt and Uncle. Because of hearing her father arguing with her Uncle. Saying something about a “BAD IDEA” or “WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO OUR FAMILY?! PUTTING THEM! PUTTING US IN DANGER?!”

She heard that last week. Not even Victoria knew about it when she told her older sister. But the two had a feeling it’s not good.

So on the day of the La Araña, when the Mexican Special Forces had found the Son.

Rosa, her sisters and her parents made sure to lock everything up during that time. Afraid that they might get into a crossfire.

When everything calmed down. They thought that they were safe.

But are they?

A few days passed after that incident. When during the middle of the night. Rosa was sleeping with her younger sisters, even with Victoria before jolting awake to hear their mother’s scream.

Victoria and Rosa told their younger sisters to stay while they ran down.

And froze to see two men, who had already shot their parents, pointing their guns at them.

Victoria put Rosa behind making sure they wouldn't shoot her. And before the two men could shoot, they were already shot and stabbed by their Uncle and Abel.

The sisters were relieved to see them but questioning what was going on. And that’s when the Uncle had finally told the truth which leaves them and even his son in SHOCKED.

The Uncle had explained that they have borrowed money from the Son of La Araña. Helping him to secretly give out drugs and in return is the money.

BUT when he saw how close they were getting caught and being afraid of putting their family in danger. He and the Aunt decided to spill out the intel to the Mexican Special Forces to STOP him. And begging them to spare them and their family for they were trying to get money.

After telling the truth, Victoria had fumed up with anger and started lashing at her Uncle. While Abel tried to calm his cousin down.

Even Rosa was upset since they have LOST their parents. And because of her kind heart, she forgave them. But not Victoria.

She started to plan to leave Las Almas with her sisters but to her surprise…Rosa and their other two younger sisters don't want to.

How could they not? Las Almas is their home. It’ll give them great pain to leave.

So Victoria just left without giving a proper goodbyes which leaves Rosa with an aching heart. But she stood her ground and chin up as she helped her Uncle to build a bar.

An idea that he has the whole time ever since he assisted La Araña.

Building up a bar and named it “Pequeña Rosa”. Wanting to name it after Camila’s nickname. Knowing her love for roses and her parents always calls her that as well.

Her Aunt and Uncle started to run this place while taking care of their family, along with Rosa and her sisters.

And that’s when she met Alejandro and Rudy with their Los Vaqueros coming in to have some drinks. She heard them talking about the cartel and even that new person called “El Si Nombre”.

She knew that was the person who had killed her parents. So she started to walk over to their table and make them a deal. She had offered them that she would assist them. By giving them intel from anyone who she sees or hears.

Which they’re having a hard time believing that an ordinary female citizen would give them the INTEL.

And she showed them though. For she had found a group of the cartel members just sitting in for some drinks in her new bar.

And overheard their conversation about the deal for one of the drug traffickers. She also told Alejandro and Rudy that they will be back here. So she planned on luring the men into a VIP room where they will wait to take action.

Which they succeeded.

Alejandro was very pleased with Rosa’s help. So in return, he’ll provide them protection for her family and will clear out her Uncle and Aunt’s record of them ever working for the Son of Las Araña.

And that’s when her Uncle decided for her to take over the bar. And let her continue on helping Alejandro and the others while working in the bar. And he knows very well that her parents are so proud.

The Colonel also introduced her to Aly and her brother, named Karlos. Whenever Rosa has the intel, she would straight up call Aly or her brother.

And from that day, Alejandro had called her the name that only he, Rudy, Aly and the other Los Vaqueros knew her by.

Greetings from Pleasantview Year one: introduction

Here is the town of Pleasantview.

It has a nice "surburban" feel to it and heavily features architectural gems from the 1950's, but also a more 'modern' district around Main Street with both condos and a shopping street.

There's currently 25 sims spread across 8 households in the town:

OVER 107 PALESTINIANS KILLED OVER THE LAST DAY ON 171ST DAY OF GENOCIDE IN THE GAZA STRIP

On the 171st day of "Israel's" ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 11 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of more than 107 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounded another 176 others over the previous 24-hours.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the Israeli occupation army has forced all of the patients, wounded individuals, medical staff and displaced families that were sheltering inside Al-Amal Hospital, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, to leave the medical complex.

However, as the people forced out of Al-Amal Hospital made their way out of the area, the massive destruction to infrastructure and nearby buildings blocked the path of those evacuating. As the group attempted to clear the road to ease their passage, occupation forces opened fire on the two teams trying to remove the rubble from the road, at least two of them.

According to PRCS, "efforts were made to evacuate them, and the teams managed to rescue one of them, while they were unable to deal with the second case due to uncertainty about his fate."

Later, PRCS said, Israeli occupation forces forced their teams to return to Al-Amal Hospital, however when they arrived to the hospital, the gate had been closed by the occupation army and the teams were unable to re-enter the complex.

The PRCS team has been waiting outside on the street since, huddled inside ambulances under bombardment, while PRCS says they "continue to coordinate with partners to provide a safe humanitarian passage to evacuate the wounded and the teams."

The Zionist occupation army has launched a total of three major raids on Palestinian hospitals over the last few days. However, the assault on Gaza's medical infrastructure ramped up further with the bombing of the upper floors of the main building at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City today, while IOF artillery forces continued shelling the surrounding Al-Rimal neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

According to witnesses, Zionist soldiers abused and mistreated hundreds of patients and displaced families sheltering in the medical complex, including the abuse of the women and children, while at the same time, occupation forces detained several men, including healthcare workers and medical staff.

Simultaneously, Zionist forces ordered the evacuation of Al-Shifa Hospital, and also demanded that nearby civilians in the Al-Rimal neighborhood evacuate their homes and head to the south of Gaza.

More than 800 Palestinians have been rounded up and detained by the Israeli occupation army during the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital, while over 170 Palestinians have been killed near the medical complex, including reports of field executions and other extrajudicial murders.

Meanwhile, as occupation soldiers execute civilians at Al-Shifa Hospital, occupation warplanes continued to bomb and shell various neighborhoods across the entirety of the Gaza Strip.

Dozens were killed and wounded as a result of the continued bombing and shelling in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital, as intense gunfire continues in the surrounds of the medical complex.

Occupation forces also continue their targeting of workers in committees that organize the distribution of humanitarian aid near the Al-Kuwaiti roundabout, south of Gaza City.

Elsewhere, IOF fighter jets bombarded the Barhoum family home in the Yabna Camp, in central Rafah, resulting in a number of casualties among civilians, including women and children.

Occupation aircraft also bombed near the vicinity of the Al-Kuwaiti roundabout, killing one civilian and wounding two others, while occupation warplanes bombed the Dawla roundabout, near the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, injuring at least three civilians.

Zionist Merkava tanks and other armored vehicles also penetrated the Western Camp area and the Al-Amal neighborhood, reaching into the area of Al-Aqsa University near the Al-Mawasi area, south of Khan Yunis.

Heavy bombing and shelling by the Zionist army of various areas in Rafah City last night also resulted in the deaths of at least 27 Palestinians.

Sources say at least 5 residential homes were destroyed in a series of air and missile strikes, which mainly focused on civilian homes, while the number of those killed in a set of airstrikes in Deir al-Balah rose to 10, with large numbers of missing people still trapped under the rubble of their homes.

In a truly horrific series of events, the occupation army obliterated the Issa family home in Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, martyring at least four Palestinians, while simultaneously, the bombing of the Kurdi family home killed another 7 civilians.

Occupation Forces didn't stop there, they continued with the destruction of the Al-Satri family home, which led to another four deaths, while the bombardment of the Barakat family home killed one, and the bombing of the Farwana family home martyred another 11 civilians.

Similarly, Zionist warplanes dropped several firebelts over the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, including the bombardment of the Abu Amra family home, located in the Al-Hakar neighborhood, wounding a number of civilians, while the death toll from the bombing of the Salman family home on al-Bi'ah Street in Deir al-Balah has since risen to 18.

Occupation warplanes also bombed the Nuseirat and Al-Bariya Refugee Camps in central Gaza.

Zionist forces continued their rampage of terror when they bombed the Salem family home in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City, killing two and wounding a number of others.

Two others were killed as a result of the occupation army targeting a group of people in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

As a result of "Israel's" ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the endlessly rising death toll now exceeds 32'333 Palestinians martyred, upwards of 25'000 of which being women and children according to the United States Pentagon, while an additional 74'694 civilians have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression beginning on October 7th, 2023.

170 Main Street, 150 Main Street, and 30 Lakeside Drive, A.K.A. The first set of converted condo apartments, A.K.A. the homes of the Caliente sisters and Don Lothario!

Originally I had planned to make over Don and the Caliente's houses as their own private lots, bump them up on to foundation, and install basements, but then i realised that A) basements wouldn't fit with the look of the condos, and 2) changing the condos into actual condos on the same lot would make much more sense, both stories-wise and romance sim-wise!

I expanded the lot and rebuilt/modified the appropriate houses on to it. I also took the opportunity to add a community area to the lot, I wanted to make it quite adult orientated, rather than family friendly, as I picture the condos are more for young adults, rather than family groups.

For the Caliente's house, I wanted to add as much of their personalities and backgrounds into the building as possible. I imagine that they moved in here shortly after Michael died, with Dina's inheritance from him paying for most of this. I added another bedroom, so that they could take on a roommate to help cover the costs if needed, or for any accidental babies that result from romantic liaisons!

For some reason Michael's grave disappeared from the lot, and reappeared on Don's lot, so I had to send it to the yet-to-be-built Pleasantview cemetery, Pleasant Rest Cemetery, so for now I've replaced the urn with a fancy vase, and we can just imagine that Dina wanted Michael to be in a fancier urn until he can have an official burial.

After last night's wedding ceremony and the drama that came with it, Mortimer and Dina have decided to elope and stay in the Caliente's condo, 170 Main Street.

" I would have loved to have a big wedding like Cassandra. All my friends and family mingling on my special day. A beautiful long gown. All of it would have been amazing. I also know that Mortimer being with me Is a controversial topic for the Goth family. Ever since Bella disappeared there have been rumors that I was a part of it, my sister and I. Morti know all about that and doesn't believe the rumors. I just want to say this. I really love and care for this sim. He's my best friend" says Dina Caliente

When asked to comment on the situation Mortimer had this to say " I'm to old to care and not do what I want. I love Cassandra and If she doesn't want anything to do with me since marrying Don, then I'll leave it at that"

Meet the OCs!

These are the main 5 that I will write for! Please feel free to send requests for stories or asking any questions to get to know them more!

Kougami (Koh) Takahashi

Age: 29

Birthday: November 13th, 1994

Nationality: American-Japanese

Appearance: 6'3, medium size build, around 160-170 lbs fluctuates from time to time, long black hair, brown eyes, ivory skin. Does have several piercings: a lip ring on the left side, right ear pierced, and his left eyebrow. Tattoos: two koi fish on his stomach. Various scars including a burn on his right hand that extends up his arm stops before his elbow.

Background:

Koh lived a rough childhood losing his mom when he was a baby to suicide his father became an alcoholic and often was aggressive and neglected Koh. At the age of 3 his dad remarried, he loved his step mom and things were getting better. Until one night he and his parents were in a car accident. Koh's stepmom died on impact while his father was in a medically induced coma and later died. Koh was taken in by his Aunt and Uncle on his father's side and raised a long side his cousin Mike and later Lucy was born.

While in highschool Koh met Allie and the two began dating not long afterwards. They spend their high schools years together and after graduation attempted long distance, while in college Koh began suffering from chronic stomach pain and began self medicating with heroin after the doctors couldn't diagnose him. The addiction got so bad Koh was forced to drop out of school, he then broke up with Allie rather than tell her the truth.

After dropping out of college he began running with an up and coming gang things started getting serious and worried he'd head up dead or in jail Koh bailed and headed back home. Hoping his Aunt and Uncle would help him they did the opposite, told him he needed to get clean before he could show his face again.

Feeling defeated Koh decided to live his life on the street, picking up odd jobs when he could to feed his addiction. Along the way he met Charlie, Amber, Duncan, and Bradley. They helped Koh however they could but deep down they wanted him to get help.

After living on the streets for nearly 5 years he was dumpster diving one night and reunited with Allie who owned a cafe. She invited him inside and offered him a meal.

Allie helped Koh get into rehab and once he got out offered for him to move in and start working at the cafe. The two got back together and through many ups and downs have remained together ever since.

Koh plans to purpose later this year.

Allison (Allie) Shepherd

Age: 28

Birthday: October 5th, 1995

Nationality: American

Appearance: 5'2, 110 lbs, short brown hair, brown eyes, and light freckles, lightly tanned skin. No tattoos yet but does have her ears pierced, nose and tragus.

Background:

Allie grew up with a big family. 2 siblings Ben (eight years older) and Chloe (five years younger) Along with her cousins Connor and James who were always around. Allie's parents supported her with everything she ever wanted to do. Her dad is a renowned heart surgeon and her mom helps with local politics as much as she can.

Growing up Allie was loved and cared for spending time with friends and family she was never a lone. Ben and her were close despite the age difference and even more when Ben was in a terrible motorcycle accident that nearly killed him.

While he recovered, Allie helped her mom and caretakers as much as she could after she got home from school. Little did she know Ben became an addict from the painkillers. When she returned from studying abroad in London Ben was supposed to meet her for lunch but didn't show. Allie found him unresponsive in his apartment. The paramedics brought him back and he begged Allie not to tell anyone. After he was discharged Ben stayed with Allie while they found him a rehab out of state. They told the family Ben went backpacking and they had no reason to doubt him.

As Ben focused on getting clean, Allie and her best friend Hannah opened up a cafe a life long dream for them both. The two girls worked endless nights and days between school and work and it all paid off. Their cafe became the hang out spot for everyone and it reunited her and Koh.

These OCs take place in a different universe think of it as Tokyo Ghoul meets Devils Line

Spawns: creatures that feed on human flesh and or blood. As they evolved they began to blend in with humans.

Indigo Walker

Age: 26

Birthday: October 31st, 1997

Nationality: European/Japanese

Appearance: 6'1, skinny for his height, turquoise hair, one blue eye, and one green, pale white skin, scar diagonal on his left eye, no tattoos and no piercings.

Background:

Indigo grew up in London for about half his life with his mom, his father worked in Japan. He was kept hidden due to him being a half-spawn. Half-spawns were seen as impure and dangerous most that were born were killed as infants.

When his mother gave birth she knew Indigo's father was a Spawn and afraid her son would be killed she gave birth in an undisclosed location. He was born with bright hair and two different eyes, a clear indicator he was a half-spawn. When Indigo was old enough she began dying his hair and telling him how important it was he keep this secret. Not long after his 13th birthday his mom got him contacts to hide his one green eye.

Unfortunately it wasn't long that Indigo's mother became sick and was no longer able to care for him so he moved in with his father. His dad was a Spawn detective. Indigo's father was never home causing him to fend for himself. At 15 his dad disappeared after allegations came out that his father was a Spawn and several incidents put him as a prime suspect. Indigo was taken in by a fellow detective and his wife where Indigo finally began to feel normal. He continued to hide his secret from everyone.

As the years went on laws were passed allowing for treatments to become available for all Spawns to control their hunger for humans and allow them to work alongside humans. Feeling safe he could trust his adoptive family he told them. They were shocked and scared but realized the whole time Indigo was with them he never hurt them. They helped him receive the treatment and for the first time in his life he was able to show off his hair and eyes though he received looks he didn't care.

Indigo enrolled in the Academy where he graduated as a Spawn investigator at the age of 24 he was partnered up with a high ranking officer named Mercury and began his career. He would later meet Mercury's sister Luna.

Mercury Evans

Age: 37

Birthday: July 8th, 1986

Nationality: Japanese

Appearance: 6'2, medium size build, clean cut everything, blue eyes, and raven hair, ivory skin color.

Background:

Mercury always looked up to his father, highly decorated Spawn investigator, top of his class at the academy. Loosing his parents was kick to the chest but he used it as fuel to be the best he could be and to find whoever killed his parents.

He also became guardian to his little sister Luna at the age of 17 with help from some distant family members as well. Raising Luna was challenging at times but he wouldn't have changed it for anything.

Despite all the obstacles he enrolled in the academy a year after his parents died and graduated top of his class he worked long hours but coming home to Luna every night was worth it. He would eventually meet Kari and the two would began dating. Mercury felt ease knowing Luna wasn't alone at night after Kari moved in. His love for her was unlike anything he had ever experienced.

Luna Evans

Age: 26

Birthday: April 19th, 1998

Nationality

Appearance: 5'3, average size, long rose gold hair, blue eyes, ivory colored skin

Background

Luna was just 5 when her parents were brutally murdered in their own home, she watched it happen and despite the gruesome scene she barely remembers it. Mercury began raising her in the city after moving out of their childhood home and into a high rise apartment. Despite Mercury's goals it didn't stop him from being the best big brother he was.

Though Luna learned to care for herself at a young age she began mature and dependent so Mercury wouldn't have to worry. Once Mercury landed his dream job as Spawn investigator Luna spent a lot of time at the station.

One day after an infiltration she met Indigo while he was changing in her brother's office. It was a slow burn relationship until several events happened causing the two to fall in love and begin dating

Storytime.

Keeping with the trend of avoiding politics right now, I wanna talk about a conversation I had at work.

As some of you may know, I'm a contracted mail carrier for the USPS. The routes I deliver on are very rural, too rural, even for the NRLCA (National Rural Letter Carriers' Association.

HC (highway contracted) routes look like this:

So, it can often be hard to tell that there is a house or houses located behind those trees, and oftentimes Google will be half a mile off on where an address is located.

So, last week, I was trying to find a house on my route to deliver a certified letter, I couldn't locate them, and Google was directing me to another street.

So, I had to leave them a notice in their mailbox telling them they needed to put their house number at the end of their driveway. Let me add here that the mailboxes on these routes are sometimes as far as a mile and a half from their door.

They showed up at the post office on Monday with the notice in hand, confused about why they had to make their house number visible from the street. The clerk kept trying to explain to them why, but they just weren't getting the picture. Eventually, the clerk approached me, frustrated, and asked me to please talk with them.

So, I go to talk to them and I tell them exactly why; because I couldn't find their house.

Where was 150 Main Street? The addresses on that road started at 170 Main Street. There wasn't another section of Main Street and it T-d with First Street. (All streets and addresses are generic and made up.) They told me that their address was 150 Main Street, but their driveway and front door were at the corner of First and Second Streets. (Um, what?!) They then told me that the EMTs also had a hard time finding their house. So, you already had a medical emergency that required an ambulance to be dispatched to your house, and you still didn't think to make it easier for first responders to find you? If emergency personnel can't find you, how can your mail carrier find you?

It took 3 people explaining this to them for 15 minutes for them to understand, "I need to put my address at the start of my driveway."

So yeah... make your address visible from the road people. It could be the difference between living to see another day or laying dead on your kitchen floor until your adult children finally decide to pay you a visit.
