When I was a child in grade school I used to ask my teacher for scratch paper every time there was a free response question. The teacher assumed I had large handwriting or wrote a lot to answer the question but what I actually did was answer the question in every possible way from the vague wording. My answers were multiple pages of "if you meant examine as to physically see then this. If you meant examine as to pick up and feel then this. If you meant examine as to think about after observation then this." For pages. Sprawling text of logic trees out of a fear I was raising my hand to ask for clarification too often. Pages upon pages of every possible misreading and understanding of a simple 6 word question. I would always write the one they most likely meant first and work my way to more and more obscure meanings as I went.

Working in retail feels like customers somehow always meant the last possible option on my answer sheet.

If you don't mind another bed question: is it just me or are new bed models just MASSIVELY thick? I purchased a hybrid bed in 2019 and this boy is like 20 inches thick? I had to get new sheets! Eventually I added a topper (chronic pain, thank u latex topper) and now it's even thicker. What's the deal with this? Meanwhile my partner has a european queen that's at least half the thickness of mine and just as comfortable. I don't get it!

Honestly I have no idea. I think American mattress manufacturers are stuck in a “more bigger more better” arms race. I will say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised coming back into the industry after seven years away to see them shrinking again. Most of the beds are around 15inches now which while thick is more reasonable.

But most of the Very Fancy beds are still chunky as hell.

Hi to anyone that sees this. I would really really like to lose weight and I just can’t seem to see progress. It’s more I want to lose fat. I really want to lose fat and have things like a thigh gap and a small waist. Please help me because I don’t know how. Anything from dieting tips, exercise tips, or anything else is welcomed. My goals are kind of like Nana Osaki, and some kpop idols. I also included pictures of my goal look. For reference my sizes are:

-27inch waist

-20inch upper thighs

-15inch lower thigh

-33inch hips

-10inch upper arms

-16inch wide shoulders

-CW: 105

I’d really like them to go down to my goal sizes which are:

-20inch waist (realistic 23inch)

-15inch upper thighs

-27inch hips (realistic 29)

-7/6inch upper arms (realistic 8)

-13inch wide shoulders (realistic 14)

-GW: 95

-UGW: 87

Also very recently within this week I’ve been eating only one meal a day and drinking 4 bottles of water and having some tea after that meal. I’ve lose some weight but I still have a big stomach and still have lots of fat. Please help because I really want to be skinnier and wear skinny jeans/flared jeans with a gap and not have my thighs rub together. I am also a shorter person being only 5’0 so I do feel really big. I’d also want my hip bones to show a bit bc I think it looks good. Please if you have recommendations and tips share them and I’ll update you on my journey :’).

Now yes with our viewing of Alien: Romulus there was a collectable goody. Everyone was talking about the Alien head popcorn bucket and that is cool but usually what they get down in the states is not always the same thing we get up here. So when we went to see Alien: Romulus I was wondering what we would have here if anything and luckily we did get the Alien Xenomorph head! which is very cool. When I seen them I was all "Yay! I want one!!" there were other people getting them too when I got mine. Now I think it has some real nice detail to it but I thought it would have been bigger? it like 15inches long or so its kinda weird how they want you to hold it there is a handle underneath its jaw so I think the way you hold it is by the handle and the head rests on your forearm? all I can say is its a cool piece and I was happy to get one
