Klasma oder Fragment

These: Das Klasma ist ein historischer Vorläufer des Fragmentes. Der Begriff Klasma kommt aus dem Altgriechischen und bezeichnet das Gebrochene oder Zerbrochene. Klastes bezeichnet einen Brecher. Üblich ist der Begriff noch in akademischem Kontext und dort auch nur im Zusammenhang mit einem spezifischen Begriff des Bildes, nämlch dem Begriff Ikone. In der heutigen Sprache taucht er nämlich nur als Bestandteil des Begriffes Ikonoklasmus auf - und dann weitgehend in historischen Studien. Ikonoklasmus soll die Bezeichnung für vergangene Epochen sein.

Auch heute werden Bilder zerbochen, in Texten werden entsprechende Aktionen, seien es Denkmalstürze oder die Aktionen der letzten Generation, teilweise auch mit dem Begriff Ikonklasmus assoziiert. Anders herum geht es auch: Auch heute werden Brüche als Bilder gepflegt. Üblich ist es aber, Ikonoklasmus als Begriff für historisch zurückliegende Auseinandersetzungen zu verwenden. Seit den Arbeiten von Leslie Brubaker würde ich sagen, dass der Begriff des Ikonoklasmus ein der Inventionen des byzantinschen Bilderstreites ist. Man kann den Begriff Klasma noch einmal isolieren und noch einmal des Beziehungen zwischen dem Klasma und dem Fragment nachgehen. Während der Begriff Klasma akademisch verdorrt erscheint, hat der Begriff des Fragmentes in den letzen 150 Jahren doch Karriere gemacht. Erstaunt es, dass das vor allem (erst) in Bezug auf Kunstwerke und dann in Bezug auf Rechtsordnungen geschah? Erstaunt es, dass es in Deutschland protestantische Staatsrechtslehrer und Herrnhuter Verfassungstheoretiker sind, die dem Begriff des Fragmentes eine prominente Rolle in ihren Schriften einräumen? Auf Erstaunen kommt es nicht immer an. Die Ausdifferenzierung von Recht und Kunst spielt bei Untersuchungen zu juridischen Kulturtechniken ohnehin nur beschränkt eine Rolle. Dann, wenn diese Ausdifferenzierung eine Rolle spielt, dann kommt es allerdings auch auf das Erstaunen an. Dann ist in Details zu klären, wie Assoziationen zwischen Bilderstreit und heutiger Rechtstheorie zustande kommen und sich über Entfernungen halten.
