we get front exhausted very fast like usually front at most 100-150hours or 4-6ish days with our longest front being 15 so imaging a whole month is horrifying

-35hours/week : true

- lunch break* : legally you cant take LESS than 45min (*only if you work at least 6hours/day). Then for the max, while you can take a 2hours lunch if you want, you still need to do your 7hours/day, so it's okay if you like doing a 9am-12pm, 2pm-6pm I guess. Also the 19€ thing, it's not "free" lunch money. You pay part of it. On a 7,5€ tickets, I pay 3€ and my employer pays 4,5€. Some get 10€tickets, but it is STILL a 40/60 ratio. You have a limite of € you can use for 1 meal. Also if you have a canteen on your work place, you don't get those tickets since your employer is already giving you access to food at a price.

Next part : some restaurants don't accept those tickets : at all, on week end and/or in the evening and/or no more than 2 tickets/person.

Today for a fast food, you need at least more than 10€. So it doesnt really cover up the price. You CAN use the tickets to pay for grocery BUT it can only be "ready to eat". I can buy premade meal and fruits. I CAN'T buy the ingredients to do the same meal but at home so healthier.....

- 6 weeks off is WRONG. You have 25days of PTO so it's 5 weeks. BUT it's only 24 real days, every one have to give 1 day for "solidarity" (usually you use you PTO for a day that is already a public holiday, often the pentecôte in june.) You can have more PTO IF you work more than 35h/week. BUT : some employers chose to pay overtime insteed. Also if you don't clock at work (and most place dont) and your contract says "35h/week" then all your over time is neither paid nor give you more PTO.....

- illness : if you are sick you need to see a doctor. If you need time off work to recover : first 3 days are NOT paid (that's the "defiency days") then you get paid 50% of your salary by the health security systeme and 50% by your employer. To get those you have to have worked 3 full month (or 150hours) before the sickness. That's for a break <6months. For >6months, you need to have worked 12months. Also after some times you get only part of your salary, not full.

- full retirent at 62 : full IF you worked 40years, or got 160 trimestres of work. So you started at 22y/o, and NEVER stopped working (ie : Kids, getting a degree above baschelor, worked NOT in France,.....). Not a full pension is not worth taking most of the time (you can end up with less than minimum wage)

- free health care : free because on my wage, a part is directly taken by the health security system. One for all and all for one. I pay for other people, they pay for me when I need it. But it doesnt cover ALL of medical expenses (like, you get the bare minimum grade of glasses for free, but if you need special glasses, like for computer with blue light filtrer, you need to pay for it.) SO most people take a health mutual (price vary from 20€/month to +200€/month (that for eldery or for a whole family coverage). Some employers help you to pay for the health mutual, some don't.

- meds : generics are 100% paid back IF you have a prescription. Brand are not reimbursed, unless the generic has a compound you can't take (like allergy). Even "just" ibuprofen or paracetamol m, you cant buy it outside a pharmacy

- free univeristy : you pay about 400€/year (inscription fee + library access + health security). You don't pay of you have a scholarship. For food : it's about 3 to 4€/meal at the canteen. If you have a scholarship, its 1€. To get abroad, IF in UE : erasmus program can pay PART of it, but can't fund 100% of it. Also you have to pay for accommodation, commute, books.... still way cheaper than elsewhere. But again that for UNIVERSITY. So bachelor(bac +3) to master degree(back +5). Engineer school are +10 000€/year.

Side note : you can "buy" your school trimester so you get your 160trimesters sooner. Otherwise, if you don't and have a master degree, you don't retire before best case scenario 64, but more like 65 or 66 y/o. (I worked in the uk and got a master degree, so for me it's like.... 68 maybe lmao)

- covid : People either worked from home, were on "forced unemployment" (that's the 80% wage part) or were deemed "essential worker" and had to go to work. During the 2nd big lock down (october - december 2020) I had to go to work because my employer couldnt give me a remonte access to work (shortage in VPN )

Meanwhile in France:

Then eat a little

Fast for another 75hours

It means I have fasted for 150hours

A week has 168 hours

So I would eat only in the span of 18 hours two separate times

And to maintain weight I would need weekly 9k calories if I have only two meals 700cal each it would get to 1.200calories per week with a deficit of 7,800calories so I think with this plan I'm good👍
