Open Winter Ball Starter!
Vladimir wanted to take a break from their job, maybe find someone to dance with, but they had a feeling they would be ridiculed for it. A waiter? Having fun? They must be out of their mind. At least, that's what they thought would be said to them if they tried to take a break.
Eventually, though, they did stop to catch their breath, having just gotten finished with a substantial pile of orders. They liked to dance while waiting tables, just to make the job a little less boring for them, so naturally, they were out of breath. They leaned against a wall, placing their hands in their pockets. It hadn't occurred to them that someone was standing next to them, but when they realized that person was there, they jolted into an upright standing position, hoping it hadn't been apparent that they were slacking off a little.
"H-Hello there!" the waiter stammered out, giving an awkward grin. "Would you care to dance?"

Vlad laughed quietly, starting to feel a little more comfortable with talking to this kid. They didn't normally like interacting with children, but it was generally easier when it wasn't their own siblings they were handling. Eugh.
"Yeah, candy is pretty good. I'm quite partial to dark chocolate myself." Their tail drooped for a moment. "I don't think I'm allowed to have any while I'm on duty, though..." They...really should get back to work. There were people to serve, and they were slacking off by talking to this kid. Oh, no.
She blinks and laughs lightly, clearly enjoying the others social suffering. Adults are so easy to tease like this. “Totally! Have you seen how much candy there is at the snack table!? It’s paradise!” She says, throwing her arms up and giving a little bounce, making the heels on her Mary-Janes click against the floor, before stuffing some more candy into her mouth. She’s totally gonna regret all this sugar when she eventually crashes, but right now that’s future Crystal’s problem. Current Crystal’s having a good time and it won’t be ruined by anyone, even stupid adults.

"O-Oh..." That was...concerning. Vladimir would like to keep their arms. They were quite attached to them. "N-No, it's not fine, because that implies that you'll allow me to bump into you again, and I really should be more careful, because..."
They trailed off, realizing that they had begun talking faster than they probably should have been. That tended to happen whenever they got nervous or anxious. They cleared their throat, pretending they hadn't seen the girl stuff candy into her dress.
"Uh...are you enjoying the ball so far?" Yes, Vlad, make small talk. That is clearly the best way to get yourself out of an awkward situation. God, they were a mess...
((Open Winter Ball RP))
Crystal grins widely as she pulls herself up to gaze at the snack table, the grin getting wider as she notices all the different foods and drinks she can get. This makes having to wear this stupid fru-fru dress all worth it. She starts grabbing as much as her little hands can hold, which is more then you’d expect, and quickly darts across the room so no one notices just how much she stole. This is the best part of having lived like she did, she knows all the tricks of the trade and how to get the hell out of any situation just by running. She lets out a small yelp as she bumps into someone, falling on her butt and shaking her head keeping a tight grip on the different snacks she’s taken. She looks up, glaring lightly, at whoever she bumped into. “‘ey! Watch it buddy!”

Vladimir was working the ball, rather than actually attending it. They had never worked up the courage to ask someone to go with them, and besides, someone had to wait tables while everyone else danced and had a good time. The waiter rushed about, bringing food and drinks to anyone who asked for it.
Of course, to make the job a little less boring, they DID do some dancing of their own, expertly balancing trays of food on their hand as they twirled and jumped about. Little did they know, however, that their energy would be somewhat hazardous to someone else. They crashed into someone, yelping in astonishment as the tray they held flew out of their hand. Moving as quickly as they could, they dove forward to catch the tray, but couldn't quite save the food.
"Oh, my gosh!" Vlad exclaimed, getting to their feet and brushing themselves off. "I am so, so sorry!" They held out their hand to the child, offering to help her up as an awkward, apologetic grin spread across their face.

"Uh, yes, coming right up, ma'am!" Vladimir says as cheerfully as they can, beginning to pour the drink into a glass before they even finished speaking. Their hands shook slightly with anxiety, and they tried their best not to spill the wine, then gave the glass to the customer. "Enjoy!" They give an awkward, lopsided grin, trying to be as cheerful as possible.

Lillith sighs lightly as she sits at the bar, crossing her legs like a lady as she delicately lays her arms across the table.
“A chardonnay please, and make it snappy. I’ve had a rough night.” She says with a small grin to the man, clearly she’s trying not to be rude.

"Are you sure about that, ma'am?" Vladimir asks, though they begin pouring out a glass of whiskey nonetheless. The waiter greatly disliked dealing with drunk patrons, so they were usually reluctant to bring someone a strong alcoholic beverage. Unfortunately, they were kind of stuck in their job, so they just had to suck it up and keep going.

Crystal grins her usual toothy grin at the waiter, sitting quietly at the bar.
“Gimme a whiskey! Somethin’ strong!” She says, clearly confident with her ability to hold her liquor.

"Y-Yeah. Will do, sir." Vladimir wrinkled their nose ever so slightly at the sight of the cigar, but they didn't dare say anything about it. In their opinion, smoking was a gross habit, but if they said that to King Dice, they'd surely catch hell for it.
A New Employee
Vladimir was fairly new to the casino, so they still didn’t quite know how things worked. They were aware that the Devil had little tolerance for slackers, so they tried to work pretty hard when they were on duty. Still, they did their best to remain positive about their situation, considering that there wasn’t much they could do about it. It was a good job, though, and they actually lived a pretty comfortable life.
Of course, the waiter hadn’t exactly expected King Dice himself to approach them while they were working. Needless to say, they were somewhat frightened by his almost sudden appearance. Did they do something wrong?
“M-Mr. King Dice, sir!” they stammered, doing their best at an elegant bow. “I didn’t expect to see you. Did I do something you didn’t like?”

They gave a relieved sigh and stood straight up. It was good to know they were doing okay. They'd hate to get on King Dice's bad side, so they wanted to do their best not to.
"The job is going wonderfully! I didn't think I'd actually enjoy being a waiter." Vladimir grinned widely as they said this. They genuinely enjoyed their job, but they had a feeling that at some point, they'd have to deal with some difficult customers. It was actually normal to encounter patrons that would find some reason to complain about something.
