He thinks about a fourth thing that isn’t the worst as he gets to the stage when he hears someone mention the Puma’s recent championship. He didn’t give a single shit about the MVP status or the trophy that everyone had been insistent that he hoist, what he did give a shit about was Kevin’s face when Andrew locked down the goal.

Kevin had been so confident coming into the match that he’d be hefting the trophy above his head and Andrew took great pleasure in denying him that. A 0-1 championship game seems boring on paper but based on everything he’s heard from everyone in his life that gives a shit about the sport, it was riveting.

Andrew just remembers having to wring out his socks from the sweat afterwards.

Good morning Amity Park, I'm your ghostly weatherman, Lance Thunder. Today's Wednesday, March 13, and there’s a 0% chance of rain. Highs are in the mid sixties, and the lows are in the mid forties. 

The Box Ghost was captured yesterday at 1 pm by the Red Huntress, freeing the USPS post office. 3 hours were spent trying to enter the building, as the Box Ghost had done an impressive job making the building impenetrable. Upon entering the building though, the fight only lasted for five minutes.

A Casper High student captured an opossum this morning and brought it inside the building. Teachers attempted to convince the student to put the animal back, but he refused. The opossum was set loose in a classroom, but as opossums are very slow runners, it was quickly captured and brought outside.

The Fentons will likely be driving today.

About the post about homosexuality in the world of Shadow and Bone. So apparently homophobia doesn't exist in a world full of racism and bigotry? The Grishas are the worst at it, but not the only ones hit. I mean, the suli, the Shu, etc. The series even added racism to Alina's Shu origin. With a universe so charged with discrimination, am I supposed to believe that homosexuality is fully tolerated there? The joke. It makes more sense if it's something that doesn't matter to grishas. Moreover, according to my memories, in the books, the grishas of the little palace are supposed to support themselves regardless of their origins, it seems to me. I mean, there are grishas from Fjerda and Shu Han who come to Ravka for refuge. Logic. One of the reasons why Zoya's racist comment on Alina in episode 3 of season 1 is completely stupid. She has literally been trained since childhood by Botkin!

Absolutely agree on implausibility of such state of matters in general. When there's hatred towards other nations and cultures, religious bigotry, sexism, whatever you'd call the complex issue of fear and homicidal animosity towards Grisha... but sexual preferences of less than every tenth person aren't good enough reason for ostracism?

My doylist explanation is the show creators probably didn't want to draw attention away from their amazing half-Shu MC's hardships, back in the day, when they DID play the racist card. LB might have simply forgotten there are gay people, when she was writing the first book and remembered just in time to add some into the second one to collect cash kudos from LGBTs too.

Zoya's racism is hardly OOC. She's first and foremost better than everyone.

"Hello?" the other boy asks and Andrew blinks. He pushes down his interest in the boy in front of him, he is not like those monsters.

He takes the hand offered to him and he is quickly pulled out of his trash prison. He doesn't say thanks since it's not like he asked for the help. "Do they do that often?" The kid asks.

"Throw me away?" Andrew asks wryly and can't help but think that it's usually adults that do that.

"Bully you." The boy clarifies.
