Wie schnell sich doch manchmal alles ändert, den einen Tag noch im Krankenhaus, den Singapur erkunden und dann im Flieger nach Chiang Mai, Thailand. So etwas erlebt man auch nur als Backpacker!
In Chiang Mai habe ich dann ein sehr grünsiges, hübsches Gasthaus gefunden. Mein Zimmer mit Venitlator und Bad hat mich 150Baht (4,50€) gekostet, so etwas findet man nur in Thailand zur Regenzeit grins. Den Ankunftstag habe ich nichts mehr gemacht. Am nächsten Tag habe ich mir ein Fahrrad ausgeliehen und bin zur thailändischen Einwandernderungsbehörde um meine Aufenthaltserlaubnis zu Verlänger. Nachdem ich es dann endlich gefunden hatte, habe ich herausgefunden, dass es nun an einem anderen Ort ist. Ich habe einen Amerikaner und zwei Chinesen mit dem selben Problem getroffen, die Chinesen kamen mit ihrem eigenen Auto aus China! Sie waren sehr freundlich und haben uns zu dem anderen Ort mitgenommen, aber es war schon zu spät um sich in die Schlange zu stellen. Sie haben uns dann auch zurück zur Behörde gebracht, da stand nämlich noch mein Fahrrad. Ich bin dann mit dem Fahrrad zurück und habe abends noch leckeres Thai Curry gegessen.
Am nächsten Tag habe ich mit David (dem Amerikaner) getroffen und wir haben uns das TukTuk zur Einwanderungsbehörde geteilt. Es hat dann so ca. den ganzen Tag gedauert, aber am Ende hatte ich eine verlängerte Aufenthaltsgenehmigung. Zurück im Gasthaus, habe ich dann noch den Visumsantrag für Indien ausgefüllt und alle meine Unterlagen zusammengesucht. Abends habe ich David zufällig getroffen und wir haben zusammen gegessen, bei dieser älteren Dame und ihrem kleinen Restaurant, wenn man das so bezeichnen möchte. Sie konnte kein Englisch, demnach war das Bestellen eine interessante Angelegenheit, aber das Essen war lecker. Wie überall in Thailand.
Am nächsten Tag ging es mit dem Fahrrad zur indischen Botschaft, wo ich erst mal ausgefragt wurde warum ich denn nach Indien möchte und zu allen Details zu meinem Visumsantrag, das noch BEVOR ich überhaupt drinnen war. Als ich dann hinein durfte, fing das ganze von vorne an. Das hat mich doch etwas verängstigt, da ich schon gelesen hatte, es sei nicht so einfach ein Visum zu bekommen und mir andere erzählt haben, sie wurden abgelehnt.
Dann war ich erst mal ohne Reisepass, ein sehr komisches Gefühl. Abends bin ich zum Nachtmarkt am Chiang Mai Tor. Dort gab es so viel leckeres essen, ich habe viel zu viel gegessen – hatte am Ende Bauchschmerzen. Aber es ist alles so lecker und so billig.
Auf dem Rückweg habe ich einen Deutschen getroffen, der die Zoe Bar gesucht hat, da ich mich mitterweile sehr gut in Chiang Mai auskenne, habe ich ihn hingeführt. Er kam gerade aus Kambodscha, wo er seine Flipflops verloren hat und seitdem Barfuß unterwegs ist. Etwas verrückt, da die Straßen in Asien nicht sauber sind und man sich leicht verletzten kann. Aber das sind Backpacker, ihm war es auch zu teuer neue zu kaufen (wo es in Asien nur 2€ kostet), er meinte er würde sie nur gleich wieder verlieren. Naja, jedem das seine.
Sonntag habe ich mich ausgeruht, ich war immer noch ziemlich schlapp von dem Dengue Fieber und bin abends lecker essen gegangen. Ach und Sonntags ist Wochenendmarkt in der Alt Stadt, da habe ich dann viel zu viel gekauft, vor allem Geschenke. Auf dem Markt gab es auch Feuerwerk für kurze Zeit.
Montag ging es zur Post um all die Geschenke, die ich gekauft hatte, nach Hause zu schicken, ich wollte die ja nicht die ganze Zeit mit mir herumschleppen. Danach ging es zum Krankenhaus, in Singapur haben sie mir gesagt, ich solle nach einer Woche meine Blutwerte kontrollieren lassen. Alles war in Ordnung. Die Krankenschwestern hier haben Röcke, Blazer und Pump an sowie kleine Hüte auf. Ich würde nicht gerne den ganzen Tag auf Absatzschuhen herumlaufen und die Kleidung ist nicht gerade praktisch für die Tätigkeiten, die sie ausüben. Andererseits war es früher bei uns auch nicht viel anders.
Dienstag ging es dann nach Chiang Saen. Erstmal bin ich zum falschen Bus Terminal, musste dann zu einem anderen. Da habe ich dann gerade den Bus um 11 Uhr verpasst und musste den um 3 Uhr nehmen nach Chiang Rai. Zum Mittag gabs Grünes Curry mit Blätterteigecken. In Chiang Rai bin ich dann eine Weile umhergelaufen, bis ich ein Hostel gefunden hatte. Aber ich habe eins gefunden und es hat nur 80Baht (2€) pro Nacht gekostet – yeah Thailand ist toll!
Ich hatte war keine Tür in meinem Zimmer und es wurde noch so halb gebaut, aber es hat mir gefallen. Meinen großen Rucksack habe ich übrigens in Chiang Mai gelassen, da ich dorthin sowieso zurück muss um mein Visum abzuholen. Am nächsten Morgen ging es Frühstücken und dann zur Bushaltestelle. Der Bus nach Chiang Saen ist ein lokal Bus, das heißt keine Klimaanlage und keine Türen.
In Chiang Saen angekommen ging es auf die Suche nach einer Unterkunft, hier nicht ganz so günstig, da es auch eher weniger touristisch ist. Ich werde die ganze Zeit angestarrt. Dann bin ich gleich erst mal den Mekong angucken gegangen und weiter um Ruinen anzuschauen.
Heute ist auch offizieller Beginn der Regenzeit und in der Stadt war eine Parade. In dieser Zeit ziehen sich die Mönche in die Klöster zurück und reisen ist nur wenn unbedingt nötig erlaubt. Manche Jungen und Männer gehen auch für einen Monat in ein Kloster und die Thais fasten so zu sagen, wie wir vor Ostern. In der Parade hatten sie Plakate mit Zeichen für z.B. kein Alkohl, keine Computerspiele, keine sozialen Medien. Donnerstag und Freitag (also die nächsten beiden Tage) wird auch kein Alkohl in den Läden verkauft, da Feiertag ist.
Warum ich auch nach Chiang Saen wollte ist, weil ich hier fast im Zentrum des Gloden Triangle bin. Es ist berühmt, da früher hier Opium angebaut und verkauft wurde. Mein Gasthaus ist direkt am Mekong, leider deshalb viele Mücken, aber es ist unglaublich an andere Ufer zu blicken und zu wissen, das ist Laos! Unglaublich!
Hier sprechen noch weniger Leute Englisch, deshalb war die Essensbestellung mal wieder eine interessante Angelegenheit, aber ich bin auch immer wieder positiv überrascht, wie gut man sich auch ohne Sprache verständigen kann und das Essen war wie immer lecker. Später hat es dann angefangen zu schütten und ich bin im Gasthaus geblieben, auch wenn das nicht das gemütlichste war.
Am nächsten Morgen habe ich nach den Bussen gefragt. Es ist immer nicht so leicht, wenn niemand Englisch spricht, aber irgendwie habe ich dann doch herausgefunden wo und wann der Bus abfährt. Sie meinten der Bus fährt um 11:40, aber ich solle doch um 11:30 wieder da sein, ich bin um 11:25 hingegangen und der Bus war gerade weg! Die Fahrkartenverkäuferin hat ein TukTuk für mich angehalten und das ist dem Bus für 20Baht wie hinterher gejagt und wir haben ihn tatsächlich eingeholt! Der TukTuk Fahrer ist aber auch wie verrückt gefahren. Glücklicherweise habe ich den Bus bekommen, sonst hätte ich den Anschlussbus in Chiang Rai verpasst und wäre zu spät in Chiang Mai angekommen, dann wäre meine Gasthausmutter nicht mehr da gewesen und ich hätte weder Zimmer noch Gepäck bekommen. So ging aber alles auf. Im Songtheaw (Sammeltaxi/-bus) auf dem Weg zum Gasthaus in Chiang Mai, saß ich mit thailändischen Teenagern, die mich viel gefragt haben und wir haben uns nett unterhalten, sie schienen ziemlich interessiert.
Im Gasthaus habe ich mein altes Zimmer wieder bekommen – sehr nett!
Freitag habe ich mir wieder ein Fahrrad ausgeliehen und in zur indischen Botschaft. Ich habe mein Visum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glücklich und erleichtert!!!
Nachmittags habe ich mir Frozen Yoghurt gegönnt, einen Fisch Spa ausprobiert, also das wo man die Füße ins Wasser hält und die Fische die alte Haut aufessen, es kitzelt und mich massieren lassen – es ist so günstig in Thailand, wer weiß wann ich die nächste Gelegenheit habe. Zum Abendbrot gab es mal wieder Curry und zum Nachtisch Fried Ice Cream.
Samstag: Es geht mit dem Nachtbus um 17:30 Uhr weiter, 12Std. Fahrzeit. Ich bin auf dem Weg Khao Yai Nationalpark. Der Nachtbus ging nach Nakhom Ratchasima kurz Korat. Dort kam ich morgens an und habe mir einen Kaffee gegönnt, mich ins Wifi eingeloggt und mein Handy aufgeladen. Danach ging es mit dem Bus nach Pak Chong. Da habe ich eine ganze Weile auf den Minibus zum Nationalpark gewartet, schließlich haben mir Einheimische geholfen ihn auch anzuhalten.
Am Nationalpark angekommen, bin ich dann per Anhalter mit einer sehr freundlichen Thai Familie zum Nationalpark Büro gefahren. Denn ich wollte im Nationalpark übernachten. Dort wurde mir der Campingplatz genannt, erst mal bin ich losgegangen und dann per Anhalter zum Campingplatz. Der Nationalpark ist nämlich ziemlich groß und es wären 5km zu Fuß gewesen, so bin ich nur 2km zu Fuß- mit Rucksack versteht sich.
Am Campingplatz angekommen habe ich mir Zelt, Isomatte sowie Kissen gemietet. Dann habe ich mein Zelt aufgebaut unter einem Unterstand. Dies stellte sich dann auch als ziemlich gute Idee heraus, denn als ich gerade fertig war mit Aufbauen fing es an wie aus Kübeln zu schütten.
In dieser Zeit habe ich dann Rehe, Fischreiher und große Echsen beobachtet, dafür musste ich nicht mal von meinem Zelt weg gehen. Abends habe ich dann noch Tee getrunken und Fertigsuppe gegessen, da es kein anderes Essen bei meiner Unterkunft gab und es zum Office doch noch ein Stückchen gewesen wäre.
Die Duschen und Toiletten waren bis auf ein Paar Insekten eigentlich sogar ziemlich sauber, es gab natürlich nur Kaltwasser, dadurch war mir etwas frisch (der Regenschauer hat die Luft doch ziemlich abgekühlt), aber alles noch im Rahmen des Erträglichen. Danach ging es auch schon wieder ins Bett, er war doch ein ziemlich langer Tag.

Abschlussworte
Viele von euch haben sich nach einem Abschluss des Blogs gesehnt, also hier ist er: Die drei Wochen Busua waren der Wahnsinn! Freiheit überall...ich habe es genossen mich überall wie zu Hause zu fühlen in dieser Dauerhitze, mit jedem einen Plausch zu halten..gerade das war in Deutschland sehr schwer zu Anfang. Dass die Verkäufer oder die Menschen auf der Straße keine Freude daran hatten sich mit mir zu unterhalten. Und ich hatte wenig Lust auf Deutsch zu reden, da mein englisch in den letzten drei Wochen so gut geworden ist. Busua, die Bucht in Ghana, ist in so toller Erinnerung, ich vermisse es so sehr! - ich werde sicher einmal dorthin zurück. Allein schon für die Menschen die mich auch sehr vermissen und in Kontakt mit mir stehen :) Phil hat mich geholt vom Flughafen und dann ging es zu Mama aufs Dorf wo genau an diesem Tag ein Karnevalfest wartete Wir tanzten also alle zusammen in meine Ankunft hinein..sehr schön! Phil und ich haben jetzt eine Wohnung in Bamberg gefunden, wo ich ab dem 1.3. eine volle Stelle im Kreissaal anfange; ich freue mich wie wild auf die Geburten! Doch bevor es wieder mit Arbeit beginnt sind wir noch zwei Wochen nach Mitte-west-Schweden gefahren. Workaway heißt das Projekt. Überall auf der Welt bieten Menschen kost und Unterkunft an und dafür arbeitet man dort 5std am Tag. Wir hatten ein normales Sporthotel erwartet wo wir einfach ein bisschen helfen, aber es war komplett anders. Es waren drei Hotels, nur eins bereits funktionsfähig und zwei die wir aufbauen mussten. Kein Personal, nur Workaways. Eine lustige Gruppe von überall her. Wir arbeiteten weit mehr als fünf Stunden am Tag, einmal 12std in einem Affenzahn, da am abend ja die Gäste kommen sollten. Man kann sich nicht vorstellen wie das alles da ablief... Wir zogen Wände hoch, sägten, hämmerten, schraubten, strichen, bauten betten auf, räumten das hotel ein, kochten für Gäste, machten Frühstück, und all den anderen normalen Kram eines Hotels. Es wurden teilweise noch Türklinken schnell angebaut, da standen schon die Gäste auf der Türmatte... Naja. Trotzdem gute Erfahrungen und gutes Essen eigentlich. Zum Schluss waren wir in einem alten hotel in der Wildnis ohne die Besitzer. Kaminfeuer, Kartenspiele, permanent laufende Wasserhähne, eiskaltes Wasser...als die Gäste einmal da waren und kein Wasser lief oder während ich deren Abendbrot kochte plötzlich der Herd nicht mehr ging...war schon peinlich wenn ich dann der Ansprechpartner für die Gäste war und die Besitzer eben nicht da waren.. Naja. Aber wir hatten Lagerfeuer, schlittenfahren, phil hat einen elch gesehen, 2x Skifahren, fast Nordlichter, Eisfischen und ich habe einen barsch gefangen und dann natürlich noch der Ausflug nach Norwegen in ein altes Dorf zu einem Markt wo einmal im jahr Leute mit ihren Schlitten mit Pferden hinfahren wie in alten Zeiten. Alle eingemurmelt in fell und sie schlafen dann auf der reise dorthin nur in dem Fell..schon lustig. Na jedenfalls war es noch schön und jetzt kommt das Abenteuer "Bamberg "! :)
