I finished my painting of a boat I saw in Scotland while I was hiking and had Covid (but didn’t know yet) and it was the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s oil paint with oil pastels over top (and drops of oil pastel fixative that hasn’t dried yet but I didnt notice until I light corrected the photo lol)
#mine#h0ney paints#I’ll probably repaint this one day and do the flags in paint#so only the plants have that fuzzy look#this one is only 10x10 so it was a little small to be painting the flags#but i actually really like it#especially leaving the boat crazy bright red

Since I don’t have anyone to share this with, I’mma share it with tumblr
My fiancé and I are going to be moving into our own house!! Within the month!
I’ve got a lot of big feelings about it…My dad is buying it for us. We are beyond grateful for it because we would have never been able to on our own. The only thing I’m disliking about the situation is how it feels like something they can hold over our heads. My parents are the type to blow the smallest shit out of proportion. It’s a very uneasy feeling…feeling that the slightest upset to them will make them rethink doing this for us.
It’s really more of a rent to own situation. We’ll be paying my parents $500 a month for 6 years, but after that we own it.
The decision to buy us a house was apparently a spontaneous decision. They knew someone who wanted my dad to fix up the house so they could sell it, but my dad just went “I’ll just buy it instead”
I’m super nervous but also really excited. Our own house. “Landlord” is my dad. I know he can and will fix any issues in the house.
I just hate the feeling of being indebted to someone. What could we possibly do to show how much this means to us? How much we really appreciate it…
#it’s a bit on the small side but hey it’s a house#my mom is definitely not happy about my dad doing this#but then again she’s never happy with anything#so nervous#but I’ll actually be able to have my anime merch collections displayed!!#I won’t have to worry about getting yelled at for shit that isn’t my fault#I can finally get away from my parents house#I might cry holy shit#I CAN PUT SHELVES ON THE WALLS#I COULD PAINT THE WALLS#anyway thanks for listening to me#my dads getting the house for $32k btw#really not bad at all#it’s like a 2ish bedroom and 1 bath#I say 2 ish cuz one is like a loft room and the other is really small like maybe a 10x10?#10x10 barely fits a full sized bed with space to walk around it#small kitchen but lots of cabinet space#a few cupboards are lazy Susan’s#i’m just so excited#tabithaposts

im reminded of the Doctor Doctor professor who my mom's mom cleaned house for back in the day and how said professor and her professor husband (physics for both of them) couldn't figure out how to hang a framed picture on the wall and how they both watched with such awe as my grandma un-clogged their sink for them (they ended up sending their kids to public school so they'd have a chance to "learn life skills" XD) and im giggling now, imagining them also putting stat points into FANFIC instead of stuff like. How to use a hammer
I just found out one of my favorite AO3 authors of all time is a fucking neurosurgeon which was surprising initially just because I often forget AO3 writers are real people and not smut angels sent down from the heavens to make us feel alive, but in hindsight it makes perfect sense.
they are a fucking genius so. they just apply that genius to multiple fields.
#ayyyyy i didn't even finish HIGHSCHOOL the depression got me at the last few credits XD#have had a lot of fun putting stuff on AO3 tho#gods i hope the doctor doctor professor did do some derivative creative writing on the side#always sounded like a nice gal. hope she had fun#mom brought the random 10X10 oil canvases painting of some hills alllll the way over with her bc the doctor doctor gave it to grandma#and it is actually a nice little thing#nothing special but it's the kind of hills mom (and apparently Dr Dr) always really loved

How to Create Downtime Menus
As a lot of my posts are, this one was inspired by a conversation with my partner. She seemed to think some of my ideas were helpful so I thought I'd write them up and share them here.
I use a combination of these ideas to do two things - redirect myself when I get stuck doomscrolling/freezing/obsessing and redirect myself when I'm stuck on the "must be good, must be productive" hamster wheel and can't seem to stop doing chores until I'm fucking exhausted or have pushed/hurt myself. Knowing you need to stop is one thing - knowing what to do instead is another.
Not all of these will work for every person at every time. Pick one or two that seem interesting and give them a whirl.
Habit of the Month
This is a small habit I can do in about 5-10 minutes a day. These are sometimes habits that I want to audition for my lineup or just want to focus on as a way of rebooting a given area of my life. Physical habits have been things like stretching, a walk, putting on moisturizer, drinking water, making tea, etc. Emotional habits have been things like stream of consciousness journaling, bullet journaling, recording myself venting, etc. Spiritual habits have been things like meditating, altar work, reading sutras, tarot readings, etc.
If I'm stuck in a loop and I haven't done that task yet, it serves as an easy win that feels moderately meaningful to accomplish. This is easier to do than longer or less interesting tasks.
Side Quests
These are little challenges I'd like to accomplish that are 100% fun and completely optional. They are specific and can me completed within a given time frame - usually a month. They usually aren't the most meaningful to keep them more fun and so I'm not letting myself down if I don't opt to complete it.
They've been things like:
The Minor Expert Challenge - read three books in one subject
The Kanopy Critic Challenge - use up all of my Kanopy credits that month
The Regal Freegal Challenge - download all the albums/songs I can on Freegal that month
The Monthly Playlist Challenge - create a playlist of the month where each song represents something about each day of that month; like a playlist diary
The Reverse Tarot Draw Challenge - pick/list a tarot card you best think represents each day of a given month or other time period; like a tarot card diary
The 100 Words Challenge - learn 100 words in a foreign language
As you can see, I prefer things that are pretty low energy friendly so I can work on them on days I'm super tired. Just little chronic illness things.
Alphabet Lists
I use these for my cleaning routines actually but I also have been trying them with my downtime. The way it works is you list out the alphabet and choose one self care or hobby task you'd like to do for each. They don't have to start with the same letter, it just serves as an easy way to limit how many you pick and keep track of what you've done. It's satisfying to cross off the whole list.
Tasks I put on these are things like
A - paint my nails
B - crochet a charity hat
C - write 5 letters for Letters Against Isolation
D - send a letter to a friend
E - play a solo rpg
F - play a solo board game
G - complete a puzzle
etc
They're fun tasks I'm not currently doing as often as I'd like but chill enough that it doesn't matter when precisely I do them more often. I try to pick tasks that are roughly 30 minutes to an hour long though some definitely take longer. I like to complete these roughly monthly but I try to complete a whole list before I start it again. Anything I just did not feel like doing and kept skipping gets scratched out and I rewrite a new list with new item to replace those. And I start again.
Whenever I'm like ugh I don't know what to do with myself, I try to pick at least one thing on the list and give it a try for 5 minutes. If I don't like it after that I can just put it away and pick something else.
10x10
10x10 lists are a different take on a similar idea. It's a list of 10 things you'd like to do at least 10 times in a given time period. Mine tend to be on the seasonal or annual timescale but maybe you're intense and prefer a monthly one. If I don't complete them in a given time period, I just continue with it until I'm done. Better to complete it on an altered timeline than not at all.
For me these tend to be slightly bigger tasks that take a little more planning or energy. I'm not totally sure why I use them this way since you could definitely use them for smaller tasks but that's just the space they occupy for me.
So examples of what would be on my list would be things like:
Grab a hot chocolate from the coffee shop (x10)
Complete a PokemonGo event (x10)
Have a spa night and watch a movie (x10)
Do something extra nice for my partner (x10)
Try a new game (x10)
Find a geocache (x10)
etc
Filing up a little 10x10 grid is pretty satisfying. Much more so than anxietying myself into my bed for the equivalent amount of time.
Seasonal Bucket Lists
I really enjoy making these though I really struggle with the current season (Spring) given my allergies. There's this idea my partner has told me about in DBT where you try to recall positive moments to help "build a life worth living". I think seasonal bucket lists are really good at helping with this for me. I look back on the seasons I made these lists way more fondly than the ones I didn't.
They generally center on seasonal activities I don't want to miss out on. So for summer that's stuff like going for a night swim/skinny dip, getting 5-10 good cloud photos, playing a yard game (like cornhole), seeing a street concert, etc. I also try to take pictures of those (if they don't already involve them) so I can reflect on them later and enjoy the residual happiness.
Conclusion
The point of these isn't to overwhelm you with options. It's just to have enough ideas prepped that you can find something no matter your energy level or time you're working with.
Remember - rest and enjoying yourself is necessary for human health. Folks how get good rest and experience flow states more regularly tend to heal better. People who spend time on what they enjoy are often more enjoyable to be around.
It's never a waste of time to make yourself happy.

A fanart memory album project!
Okay here's the big reveal of the thing I've been working on last month (and going to keep working this month as well, since I have more ideas).
Long story short, last month I saw that one of my earliest paintings of Raul is dated 2014 (wow), so I thought, how about I make some sort of an artbook/fanzine to feature my paintings from different years, and maybe make another one for all the paintings of Freddie and maybe another for my original art. Soon the idea of just an artbook started to look a bit boring to me, so I switched to the idea of it maybe looking like some sort of a scrapbook. which also felt not enough for me. And eventually I decided that I wanted something a bit more personal, more tangible, more tactile? I wanted to make it a collection of prints that you can both keep in a neat "book", but also be able to take one or a few prints out and maybe hang in on your wall, or keep as a card on your table, or use it as a bookmark, or just give it as a gift? And I wanted another distinctive thing to be, that all the prints have a date on them, marking when they were originally painted. Drumroll, it's a photoalbum now! With prints of different sizes, some are folded like gift cards, some look like polaroid photos. There're also a few simple stickers and an A3 poster of Emcee ;3
There's gonna be a video, so you can see all pages. And I'll plan to make the same sort of album for Freddie's paintings, and I've already chosen a number of personal, non fanart paintings. For now those are the only theme that have enough material to fill an album with.
Right now I finished the first Raul one and already printed the second album, so it's waiting to be assembled. Please let me know, if you want one (you can message me on Boosty, Instagram, Tumblr, or just email me [email protected]).
So the album consists of: 1 poster (size A3,folded), 8 stickers (5x5 cm) 14 prints (size A6) 4 prints (10x10 cm) 8 prints (8,8x10,5 cm) 12 prints (6x10 cm) 4 prints (4x10 cm) 1 vertical card (size A6) 2 horizontal cards (size A6)
The price is $50 (which already includes international shipping). I'll make a Hipolink payment via PayPal (here's a link for that https://hipolink.me/tommieglenn/products/raul-esparza-fanart-memory-album ), or if you're okay with paying with card, then you can use my Boosty's tip jar (here https://boosty.to/tommieglenn ), but please write me beforehand, so that I can let you know if I have an album available (and can send it the next day), or you'd have to wait a few days for me to make it for you.

is now a good time for me to post my Nina expressionist oil painting i did for my senior bfa show bc i love her sm
Propaganda
Rosalind Russell (His Girl Friday, Auntie Mame, The Women)—Hugely influential in her role as Hildy in His Girl Friday, Russell is perhaps the greatest influence on the character of Lois Lane. Catty, hilarious and charming, Russell is the blueprint for every sharp tongued transatlantic diva. In The Women she wears a series of incredible fits including a wonderful Schiaparelli dress covered in eyes. Later in her career she was the incredible Queer Icon Mame, a model of bohemian life that still resonates today
Nina Mae McKinney (Hallelujah, Pie Pie Blackbird, The Devil’s Daughter)—One of the first black movie stars, Nina worked with Bill ‘Bojangles’ Robinson, King Vidor, and Paul Robeson. She was the first Black Actress to be signed to one of the major studios, MGM, but her career was stalled by a lack of roles.
This is round 2 of the tournament. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage woman.
[additional propaganda submitted under the cut.]
Rosalind Russell:
She's funny! She's glamorous! She stood up for herself! She took her own initiative to make sure her role in His Girl Friday was funny enough to stand up to Cary Grant!
Funny, fast talking, witty, triple threat, so charming that her husband of 35 years watched her in a movie and decided he needed to meet her and he was going to marry her, and got Cary Grant to arrange a meeting. Grant was best man at their wedding. Was a big supporter and funder of arthritis research and was honoured by Congress for her work in that field.
She’s just so fucking funny. She gave another woman a permanent scar from biting her leg in a scene and this is a story she herself told in interviews. This maybe true maybe not piece of IMDB trivia is never far from my mind: At the wrap party, Rosalind Russell was dancing with George Cukor, when Ernst Lubitsch passed her and said, "If you want more close-ups in the picture, never mind dancing with your director, you'd better dance with Norma Shearer!" Without missing a beat, Russell took Shearer's hand with a wink and danced her across the floor.
Nina Mae McKinney:
Hollywood's first Black vamp, and have you seen her dance? 👀
She has such delicate features and such a delightfully impish smile

Most of yall said you'd like to see this tutorial on how to make the cubito heads. So here I am, ready to serve the people. I'll be making Doc, but obviously this tutorial works for whoever you'd like to make.
Technically, the poll hasn't ended, but like forty people said they wanted a tutorial and I had time to make one today, so here you go.
Tutorial under the cut
Materials you'll need.
1 10x10 inch canvas (or you can use whatever size you want as long as it's square)
Paint Brushes, specifically the flat edge ones
Acrylic paint. (You could probably use whatever paint you have on hand, but acrylic is the best for this)
A mixing plate, for your colors, I'm not a professional, so I use a paper plate.
Pencil, to map out your squares.
Ruler, to make sure your lines are very even. (My rulers small, I couldn't find the big one, I'd really recommend a regular 12 inch.)
Alright, now move everything to the side, grab your canvas, your pencil, and your ruler.
The first thing you'll do is use your ruler and find the center of the canvas. If you're using a 10 inch, the center should be at 5 inches. Once you find the center, draw a line directly down the center using the ruler to keep ot straight.
After you do that, you'll want to find the center of each side. The left side measurement should be 2.5 inches, and the right side should be at 7.5 inches. Once you find draw a line.
Now, you should have 4 equal segments. On each of those 4 segments, find the center and draw a line directly down.
Alrighty, now you've got 8 (mostly) even lines, turn your canvas 90 degrees and do it all again. Find the center.
Once you've drawn that line you know what to do, find the center of the two different segments you made and draw a line.
Nowww, you'll have to do it 4 more times, find the center of each and draw line down.
And now, you've got a mostly perfect grid.
Next, you'll find a photo of your specific MCYTs head. Mine is Doc.
It doesn't really matter which colour you decide to start with, but do all the colours of that value first. I'm going to start with the blacks.
I guess it's quite simple really, just paint the black where the black goes.
It doesn't have to be perfect, but try to stay in the lines. Then add the lighter values, your grays and whites.
From there, I added the Red in. To make the darker reds, I just mixed black in with the reds.
And then the green
And the final touches of brown, which I usually do browns last because I can mix together all the colors I already made to make it.
And you can hang him up on the wall with all his other friends <3
So anyways, I hope this was a decent tutorial, and it helps you make one of these cute little guys. If you have any questions on how to mix colors or the process, feel free to ask, I'd never judge you for asking.

what canvas size do you use? your art is soooo detailed do you just not use many layers? or am i wrong about the program you use and theres no layer limit?
all my canvases start at 10x10 inches, 300dpi !
they can be made bigger or smaller depending on what im feelin like and when i used photoshop my base canvas size was 18x24 in but procreate sucks and id like to have more than a handful of layers lol
that being said ive gotten into the habit of just combining layers as i go especially with paintings i just dont use a ton of layers in general

paintings* round 1 poll 64
note that the second image is three examples of works from a series
From 0 to 100% of black by Ryszard Winiarski, 1975:
propaganda: maths and art what more could you possibly want
The game 10x10, a series by Ryszard Winiarski:
propaganda: Winiarski tworzył dzieła często związane z algorytmiką i statystyką. cykl gier 10 x 10 zawiera plansze sterowane algorytmem, ale także plansze gdzie następne zaciemnianie pola były losowane przypadkowo, przez rzut koścmi do gry albo rzut monetą, etc. Najlepiej jego prace prezentują się obok siebie :D [Winiarski's works are often related to algorithms and statistics. The series of 10x10 games includes boards dictaded by algorithm, but also boards where the consecutive sections painted black were decided by chance: by rolling the dice, tossing a coin etc. They look best presented one next to another]
[I like him because these works are a fun commentary on the reality we live in, and also because it makes my inner nerd creature manifest and go maths!! every time i look at these works]
about the artist: inżynier z wykształcenia, ale poszedł w sztukę - malarstwo i scenografię, co imo jest bardzo fajne [engineer by profession, but he got into art - painting and scenography, which is great imo]
dude was such a nerd I love it

I'm sorry I'm so freaking bad at posting on here. I always forget cuz tagging doesn't work the same when I just post right from Instagram, even tho that would be easiest for me.
Anyways, I finished two more art pieces the last few days, doing color studies like I did in quarantine with my oil paints. I can't wait to see where it takes me cuz once I get these photographed I'm going to gloss varnish the Garnet piece! First time I ever used a varnish so we'll see how that goes!

Meet Me at the Farmers Market! - 3. Sunflower
Farmers Market! Joel Miller x Confident! Plus Sized F! Florist Reader
Series Masterlist
Series Summary: What does a Contractor do in his spare time? Sell his wood carvings at the Saturday Farmers Market, of course! A Grumpy x Sunshine Joel Miller series collective of one shots, Updates every Saturday!
Rating: M
Word Count: 1.5K
Warnings: Jealous! Joel Miller, Tommy is a meddling little shit, Joel is emotionally constipated, Joel checks out his new vendor neighbor like a fucking caveman!
Chapter Summary: Joel, meet Sunflower. This story takes place before parts 1 + 2.
Banners by @saradika
"I heard there's a new vendor this week."
Joel grunts, lugging the 10x10 pop-up tent from his truck as Tommy casually steps out of the passenger side, a cigarette dangling lazily from the corner of his mouth.
"Put that out, asshole, and come give me a hand," Joel says, dropping the tent onto the blazing Texas pavement.
Tommy flicks the cigarette out into the wind, snagging the pop-up table from the truck bed as Joel lines up the tent with precision, not a hair's breadth off from the designated markers.
"You ain't a bit curious about your new neighbor? Sylvie spilled the beans. Says it's some out-of-town florist, a friend from her college days. Rumor has it she's a looker... and flying solo," he says, shooting Joel a pointed look, a sly smirk playing on his lips.
"Oh yeah? and how did you get Sylvia to tell you this?"
"I have my ways."
"I'm sure you do."
"So, I was thinking..."
"No."
"Oh come on, Joel! You didn't even know what I was going to say!"
Joel grabs the last crate from his truck, slamming the tailgate in frustration as he shoves it into his meddling brother's chest. "Why would I be interested in some random girl who," he huffs, "I ain't know nothing about? What if shes..."
"Silvie showed me a picture of her, she's exactly your type!" Tommy pulls out his phone, flicking through his messages. "I just so happened to ask her to send me one of her photos..."
"I'M. NOT. INTERESTED." Joel snarls, gritting his teeth.
A JDM minivan, adorned with painted sunflowers, pulls up behind the brothers, a voice calling out as they bicker.
"Excuse me," a sweet and amused voice breaks through, observing the tense standoff between the two men. "Mind if I slip into my stall real quick?"
Joel pivots toward the voice, a glare etched on his face, irritated at being caught in this compromising and - rather fucking irritating - situation. "Just hold..." His words trail off as he lays eyes on the girl — no, a full-fledged woman, his new vendor neighbor. Goddammit, he thinks, she's fucking gorgeous. Fucking Tommy...
It's Tommy who speaks first.
"Well, hello there!" he calls out, a look of satisfaction on his face as he faces you. "Don't mind us, let us get out of your way!" he pulls him aside, rolling his eyes at his brother's sudden silence. "I fuckin' told you," he whispers in his ear. Joel swears he feels his satisfied told-you-so smirk as he pivots toward your direction, the smug bastard.
You pull into the stall next to his, your hair piled up into a messy bun, sunglasses perched on your nose. You're wearing an oversized flannel, the sleeves rolled up to your elbows, hints of flowers - Jasmine? - delicately tattooed on your forearms. "Thanks!" you call out, your voice - your voice... The voice of a fucking angel, he thinks, his Adam's apple bobbing as he nervously nods in your direction.
"Need a hand?" Tommy says as he approaches you, his hands in his back pockets. "Joel's just about done setting up, why don’t I give you a hand? I’m Tommy, by the way. That grumpy asshole right there is Joel.”
“Are you sure? I mean, I got..."
"Don't you worry your pretty little head off, Joel's a big boy, he can manage."
Joel rolls his eyes as he sees Tommy saunter over to you, opening your door as you step out of your van. He breathes heavily as he sees your legs pop out, the sight of your very short jeans cutoffs barely covering your... assets. Those shorts should be fucking illegal, he thinks as he fiddles with the collar of his shirt, suddenly too tight and constricting, the Texas sun and the heat suddenly plunging him headfirst into the depths of hell.
Joel glares at nothing as he watches the two of you from the corner of his eye, your head thrown back as you laugh - with your entire fucking body - at something stupid that his brother is telling you as you both look in his direction, Tommy's head shaking as you playfully slap him in response. How in the fuck does he make it look so easy? he ponders as he sees his brother effortlessly make buddy-buddy with his new vendor neighbor.
"Dad," Sarah calls out as she stands next to him, mindlessly arranging his woodland carvings on his vending table. "What the hell is up with you today?" she chides as she takes in her father's tense form, his hands clenching atop the table. She looks in the direction that her father is looking at, seeing her uncle standing next to you in your stall as you arrange several floral arrangements on your table. "Who is that with Uncle Tommy? She's new. She's pretty, Uncle Tommy doesn't waste a darn minute, huh?"
"I don't know," Joel grumbles. "Some transplant from out west. Sylvie's friend."
"Sunflower? That's her?"
"Sunflower?"
"Yeah, Sylvie's friend from Washington. They were college roommates, she's planning on opening a nursery in town sometime soon. Next to your office, I heard. I want to pick her brain, she's totally cool! She lived in Japan for a while, and learned ikebana!"
"Ike... what?"
Sarah rolls her eyes at her father's ignorance. "IkeBANA, the art of Japanese floral arrangement?" she motions to the flower arrangements on her table. "It's not like the stuff you get at the Whole Foods, it's totally fucking cool!"
"Language, girlie."
"Dad, I'm in college now, I'm a fully realized adult, and if I like to recall," she gives him a pointed look, "I didn't have the best influence about swearing growing up, especially with you and Uncle Tommy cussing each other out every five minutes!"
Tommy waves in your direction as he approaches Joel and Sarah, a wide smile on his face. "Shes somethin' else," he says to the both of them, placing an arm around Sarah as he nods in your direction. "Her family was stationed in Yokosuka back when she was in high school, that's how she learned how to do all of her arrangements and shit. She also does this thing where she fixes broken stuff with liquid gold... her pottery is fucking amazing! better than these fucking critters we be selling every weekend..."
"Kintsugi, Uncle Tommy. That's what it's called."
"Whatever it is, don't ya think she would be perfect for your old man?"
Sarah scoffs, punching Tommy in the ribs. "Didn't you just spend the entire morning flirting with her?"
"Tommy flirts with anything with two legs"
Tommy flicks Joel off. "I have you know, I was talking up your Papi for the last hour, tellin' her all about his woodland critters and how he's a business owner, shit, I even offered his services for her new nursery...."
"Tommy..." Joel warns, shaking his head in frustration. "We ain't got time for some new project..."
"Her new space is the one next to ours! you know, Jimmy's old spot! It's hardly an inconvenience! I'm sure judging how your mouth flopped like a fish when you laid eyes on her you wouldn't mind her being around so much as you like to deny it!"
"Hi," a voice interrupts the three of them, their eyes darting towards you in shock.
"Hey Sunflower!" Tommy clears his throat as he motions at you. "What's that tree you got in your hands? It's a baby!"
You look at the Bonsai tree in your hands, it's reclaimed pot laced with gold. "Oh, it's just a little gift for Joel, now that we're vendor neighbors," you reply, a shy smile on your face. You hand it over to Joel, his hands slightly gracing yours, as he looks at it in wonder. "It's in a reclaimed pot that I fixed with liquid gold... it's called Kitsungi. I hope we can be friends, and thank you for offering to help out with the nursery, Tommy told me you own a construction company..." you look up at him expectantly.
"Dad..." Sarah whispers, nudging him. "Say thank you!"
"Your tent is three inches off from your marker, by the way," he replies as he places the bonsai off to the side of his display table. "You might want to get that checked out, don't want to get a fine or anything like that."
"Oh," you reply. "Yeah, thanks for telling me..."
"What he means is, thank you, Sunflower. I'm Sarah, by the way. Joel's daughter," she cuts in, clearly embarrassed by her father's gruffness. "Don't worry, he's not always like this!"
"He's actually always like this," Tommy mutters.
"Well, It was nice meeting you all," you say as you look in Joel's direction. You nervously bite your lip as he looks at you intensely as he suddenly licks his lips in response. Tommy and Sarah both look at the interaction, giving each other a knowing look. "I hope to see you around," you say, turning as you walk back to your booth. "Thanks again!" Sarah yells at your retreating form.
"Joel... what in the..."
"Don't fucking say it, Tommy."
"You just looked at her like she was in fucking heat or something, what the hell is wrong with you?!"
"Don't!" he warns, looking in your direction as you bend over, grabbing a basket off of the ground. He adjusts his collar again, his face suddenly covered in sweat.
"Oh Dad," Sarah muses, looking in your direction.
"You're SO FUCKED."
