oh my god i could probably talk abt this forever and i literally wont shut up about it until the world cup rolls around but do u guys wanna know abt the covert coup they tried to stage 2day
#ok so basically bols*naro n his allies were already fearing his loss right. bc they know lula is a popular leftist leader here#little bit of background lula rose to high ranking political office through populism. that means his main focus when in power r the masses#lower classes and socially oppressed groups like black ppl women the Gays™ etc#he was the first ever president to rly look at our country's northeast region and do something for them#historically the northeast is the poorest most discriminated against region. poverty is a great concern there#they annually suffer bc of droughts and they're the part of the country nearly the whole rest is xenophobic towards#i'd say rlly only the north region isnt so xenophobic towards them bc theyre almostttt there but#the south and southeast are the worst. im talking most whitened populations who descend from europeans n think they're better#just bc they're the richer regions too. the midwest comes close too in terms of xenophobia but literally who cares abt them. anyways#bc of this history the northeast region has a history of preferring left-wing leaders esp from pt - lula's party#in the 1st round of elections earlier this month lula won the majority of votes in that region - as expected. bols*naro spectacularly lost#after that he went on to publicly state during a live stream - yes that is how our now soon-to-be FORMER president communicated with us -#that the only reason lula won there is bc the illiteracy rates were higher. basically implying they didnt vote for him bc theyre uneducated#which is v obviously a lie. 7 out of 10 perfect scores in enem - our national highschool exams - came from that region so. yea theyre NOT#uneducated they just never bought into bols*naro's bullshit like the rest of the country did. and he knew that#so fast forward to today. free public transportation on election days is a right to every brazilian citizen#a lot of northeastern people depend on buses to get to the polling places. theyre most notably the region where this happens the most#the chief of the federal highway police is a known public supporter of blsnr. the frp announced they'd be having several traffic blitzes#during election day - that's illegal. keeping ppl from voting or making their journey 2 polling places more difficult is an electoral crime#the supreme electoral court ruled against this. the frp chief then released a statement basically saying yea idc i'll still do this#and 2day they did. several traffic blitzes were set up across the country but guess who took the bigger hit? northeastern voters#roughly HALF of the operations were set up in that region alone - the other half was p evenly distributed between the remaining 4 REGIONS#the northeast suffered roughly 5x more than other regions in voter suppression bc of this. n we already know why#yall know whats the funniest part of this? he still lost 💀#so yea thats basically how blsnr n his lackeys tried 2 overthrow a democratic decision b4 it was even made so they wouldnt lose their power#n when i say that was an illegal move i mean that department of the federal police literally never cared abt that before#n blsnr had already tried to suspend free fare across the country - to keep poor people from voting - during the 1st AND 2nd rounds#he failed so his frp supporters tried to step in. they were legally and directly prohibited from doing so and still went ahead w it#also several northeastern voters posted videos online of federal agents keeping the buses from circulating#and innumerous accounts of them trying to coerce and constrain voters into revealing their voting intentions - another crime

🍮⠀⠀ notes: popular!bakugou x nerdy!reader, fluffy, college au ‿ ୧ 🍡⠀ word count: 839
Tumblr media
everyone's either in love with bakugou or wants to be him. he always has people bombarding him with questions about his quirk or trying to get close to him. he doesnt mind the attention. bakugou carries a large amount of pride that comes along with his popularity. he's worshipped, always walking the halls with people following him.
but then theres you. a silent girl in most of his classes. you keep to yourself in your own little world for the most part with very few close friends. your seat is in front of bakugou in all of your shared lectures, and you never bothered him, not once. truth be told, he never really thought about you until a specific night.
slamming his friend's car door shut, bakugou grumbles, "you idiots." he wasted yet another good night for studying. he threw it away by partying with people he didn't even find interesting. gosh, it's already 10:30. he wouldn't be able to stay awake. but he can't just go to sleep! nono, exams are too close. he needs glue all of the information he can into his brain. kirishima had recommended getting a study buddy-- who the hell would want to actually study with bakugou?? the girls would be distracted by his "huge muscles" and "unique hair" while any guys would be begging to see his quirk in action.
fuck this! katsuki doesn't need anyones help.
that confident thought bubble changes as he walks up the stairs to the dormitories. he remembers that quiet dork in most of his classes.. you seem pretty normal for the most part. a bit of a nerd too, so he wouldn't be worried about you having the wrong shit written down. with an ashamed grunt, he decides to find your dorm.
you munch on freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, going over notes you'd gotten from yesterday's lecture. you tiredly lean back against your chair in a tiny tank top and shorts with your hair up in a claw clip. you're slightly bopping your head to the quiet music playing in the background when you hear heavy thuds of someone walking towards your room. you perk up when said person knocks on your door softly. you happily smile, thinking maybe one of your friends are stopping by. excited you made so many cookies, you hurry to the door and swing it open.
with his hands dug into his pockets and drained frown, the katsuki bakugou stands at your door.. odd. "oh!" you squealed, your hand covering your mouth. "sorry, just-- wasn't expecting you." you nervously rub your arm, leaning against the door frame.
he lazily raises an eyebrow in curiosity. "you expectin' someone?"
you shake your head. "nope.." you mutter with an awkward smile. bakugou eyes you up and down quickly, quietly clearing his throat at the small amount of clothing adorning your body. you bite your lip embarrassedly while averting your gaze. "you wanna come in?" you chirp, stepping to the side. he lets out a soft hum of confirmation, taking big strides into your dorm before you shut the door behind him. he walks over to your desk to observe your neatly written notes. "i need someone to study with-- you aren't stupid or anythin' right?" he cocks a brow, turning his head to look at you.
you hum lightly. "mm no, i dont think so.."
the scruffy boy plops down in your heart-shaped chair, flipping through the pages you had spent such precious time working on. you fiddle with your fingers shyly, biting the inside of your cheek as you watch bakugou. "..do you want a cookie?" you politely ask, pointing towards the plate on your desk, walking towards him. his head turned to where your finger was pointing.
his eyes flicker to the plate, hesitantly taking a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie and biting into it. it was soft and chewy-- and warm. his crimson eyes brighten a little, just a little. "'s not bad. would be better with coffee." he stares at the bitten cookie, cupping his other under the treat, careful not to make a mess. your bubbly self returns, offering a sweet smile. "coffee coming up!"
that day was the first of many of you and katsuki spending time together. you were never around people too often, yet alone someone as popular and liked as bakugou. and as for him, he thought you were decently likeable. you made him feel good about himself without talking about his quirk or giant pecs. you also never asked if he had a girlfriend or if he was free next friday night. you were just you.
you had talked more than he anticipated. that night, bakugou found himself quiet while you blabbed about whatever came into your head, and he didn't mind it at all. even after that study session and hanging out numerous times, you're still that one quiet nerd in the classroom. only he gets to see the chatty side of you-- and he likes that. makes him feel special.

A list of all the things I have manifested ⋆˚⟡˖ ࣪
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We manifest everything in our lives btw - the good and the bad which is why I will be including both to prove that the law does not discriminate. If you can successfully become poor, you can most definately become rich with the same ease because everything is just a state.
Long hair
AHH this is one of my favourite manifestations. Ever since I was young I had a weird bob with a fringe (often crooked) and I wanted long hair like all the other girls (lmaoo) but my mum was strict so she didn't let me grow it out. Although I didn't know about manifestation back then, every new year and birthday I would wish for long hair and I would pretend I was a princess with butt long hair. Guess what, somewhere along the line, my mum let me grow it out and now I have butt length hair (don't really know what to do with it tho </3).
As all kids do, I went through an emo phase where I chopped off like half of my hair like 4 years ago. I literally grew back 7-8" of hair within a month because my parents got too mad. I knew about manifestation here so I just assumed my hair always grows unaturally fast. Same with when I cut bangs, they grew past my chin within a couple of weeks.
Manifesting my way into a private school
Honestly this just shows that you dont need 2430430 hours of working on your self concept to manifest. Literally so many celebs, including Marylin Monroe (the queen), manifested their fame with awful self concept. Likewise, here I was possibly going through the worst time of my life back then. I would wake up at 8 am and start studying and end at 11 pm despite being only 10 at the time. I was so freaking stressed and envious of all the other children and went into a depressive spiral where my two options were pass or die. I didn't even have enough practice and I cried my self to sleep on most nights. Anyways, when i did the exam I was deathly calm and even after the exam I was apparently so chill so my parents thought I failed.
I literally left 9 questions on one paper but throughout the summer, everytime I found a dandelion I would make a wish and imagine digging a tunnel to the examiners room where I secretly change my answers into the right ones (lmfao my tiny 10 yr old brain - idek how it worked). Anyways my results were sent back to me a month later on a random October evening and I got a really high mark. Even after 7 years of going to this school I havn't met anyone who has gotten a mark higher than mine.
Curly hair / straight hair
Sigh. We always want things we don't have. When I was younger I had really straight hair like 1A asian hair but when I was like 10, I really wanted curly hair and I would try to curl it often. After a few months, I manifested a curling iron and my hair literally became naturally curly like right after a wash it would curly af when before it was dead straight. Naturally I grew bored of it and I wanted my straight hair back and for ages I began overcomplicating the law and struggled to manifest it. It was only recently when I actually let go of the 3D that I manifested the silky, shiny straight hair.
Social life?
This is also a funny one, just shows how easily you can manifest. So back in 2021 after lockdown I felt so lonely and felt so left out of my friendship group so after a few months I began stressing myself out and spiraling for like 30 minutes, sobbing to myself about how I was so lonely and how nobody loved me (💀). Anyways it became reality, I found myself uncomfortable in many social situations and found myself becoming forgotten far more easily. I don't really remember the details but it was so bad that I think I accidently manifested social anxiety (oh well we still up tho).
However I am a loa girly so I found myself listening to popularity subliminals and slowly (but surely) my mindset change from having no friends to being the most popular girl in the year. Like no joke I became friends with like 3 people from different social circles so at lunchtime we had to join up like 3 different tables so we can all sit together. Overall I got myself 20+ close friends and even my ex friends began to admire me although it had ended badly. Even now, when someone says something thats untrue - for example saying that they are dumb when they are not, they would be like "ahaha so its like when Rae (me) says she has no friends, the whole school knows who Rae is".
Clear skin
This was sort of in the beginning of my loa (law of attraction back then) journey, I just randomly found out what subliminals were and was still quite new to everything. Now I don't even understand how it happened but I had busted some capillaries under my skin and it looked like small red viens under my skin and bro I was freaking out at the time. One night I was like just, I had enough, I'm going to get myself better skin and so I listened to a sub once for 3-4 days and on like the 4th day, my cheeks began to heat up which was odd and the next day it was 90% gone. Just like magikkkk.
Desired university?
Guys. Feeling is the secret. Don't you ever forgot that - not feeling as in emotions but rather the feeling of knowing. I had 2 entrance exams to do to apply for my universities and it was a stressful time where I wasn't getting enough sleep and wasn't eating enough simply because I didn't have the time. Like I come home from school and would have 3-4 hours of homework, then I need to revise for tests and then the remaining time would be spent on the entrance exams. Each past paper took 2 hours and I have around 13s per questions and I was already struggling on time. Anyways, I began to hate them and I would often complain to my mum saying things like "My score got even lower!!" or "I hate it so much" or "My head hurts / eyes hurt".
Guess what? Not only did I see my score decrease over time but I also made such a silly mistake on the most important entrance exam which I needed for 4/5 of my universities. I left a question and completely forgot to mark on the answer so when I finished the section I realised I had one more space on the sheet with like 10s to spare. I didn't have enough time to go back and fix it and lemme say that I did so badly in the test. Even while waiting for results I was just like "ah it would be a miracle if I scored above this bla bla".
I got the score back and it was so freaking bad like I did not stand a chance at my university at all. However, I started to affirm for a place and to my utter shock and surprise my desired university reached out and offered me an interview. I knew people who had like scores which were 50% better than mine and they still got rejected pre-interview. Anyways I began stressing about the interview and the results of the whole thing and boom. I got rejected 3 days after my birthday lmaoo. But its okay because I'm reapplying and I learnt so much more. I'm redoing the entrance exam and my score is a loooot better than it ever was last year.
A key take away would be thoughts are the result of the state you are in. Your dwelling state manifests and I was focusing on the unrealness and the difficultly of getting into this uni and thats what manifested. At the time I was heartbroken and literally went through the 7 stages of grief and spent so many months trying to revise it only for me to focus on the 3D. Just know that everything is done in imagination and it appears in the 3D as a result.
Photographic memory
So this is also something I had manifested before I actually knew about loa but the takeaway here is that manifestation is always instant. I was around 11 reading a random book on my tiny kindle and the book was on how to develop a good memory and I was like ah that'll be useful. Anyways later in the car, I asked my dad about photographic memory and he sort of explained it to me. I just assumed that I have that and I told him I do. He just laughed at me and said thats something that you have to train for and I was not impressed lmao. Inside my tiny brain, I was just like nope, I already have photographic memory and I dropped that thought. Let me tell you, my memory is actually photographic and has helped me out on so many occasions like my brain just takes pictures of things.
Learning fast
This is also something I did before I knew loa, I was just always wondering why the other kids couldn't grasp concepts as easily as I did. Literally in every lesson I would be like ah I learn so fast and now I am actually blessed with the ability to grasp complex subjects so fast. A favourite example of mine would be when I was obsessed with music but to take it to a higher level you need to be able to play an instrument. I couldn't at the time and my teacher told me the requirements a week before the actual deadline. I have never actually played piano with both hands but one day I sat down and worked through the entire song (fur elise by Beethoven) which is a grade 5 (I think) and it normally takes people months / weeks to learn. I learnt the whole thing in 3 days and from then on, I could play piano like I had been doing for ages. Again the memory thing was so helpful because I never actually used any sheet music, I learnt it off a youtube video and I remembered every single note I needed to play.
Hourglass body + 22" waist
This was a couple of years ago when I actually didn't understand loa. Anyways long story short, I would do a 3 minute workout and then flex infront of the mirror all day (💀) and be like omg I have abs. Overtime, I actually got so skinny everyone around me kept pointing it out to me and my mum got so concerned that she took me to the doctor like 4 times. It was so funny, I would loose like 2-3kg overnight and my parents would have to buy better fitting uniform.
Bigger boobs
This was also back in the day (2021?) when I didn't understand how to manifest things easily af. I had an A cup but I wanted better boobies and I listened to like 2 subs for a week and I went to a B cup. But I just assumed I have a bigger cup size recently and I just skipped C and went to D+ (haven't measured in a long time).
I'm not done but I'm tired now bye bye

❥﹒♡﹒☕﹒ 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲-𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄
𝟭. set SMART goals ( 📒 )
make sure your goals are specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time-bound. this will help you maintain focus and track your progress over time. how many times has it been you and your unrealistic to-do list against the world? well, it seems that a mile-long to-do list is not a good ally at all. remember that you are a person and not a machine, and that just dedicating four hours to deep work and concentration is A LOT. be kind to yourself and don't overload yourself with more work than you can humanly do.
𝟮. daily planning ( 🧸 )
mea culpa because i'm the first one who doesn't plan their day. to-do lists generally stress me out and make me feel overwhelmed as if i don't manage to complete all the tasks an asteroid will end up hitting the earth. but i recognize that it is a good starting point. sometimes i have too many things to do and i end up doing nothing in total confusion, but having at least a general list to follow gives me more motivation. moreover do we want to talk about the dopamine released when you tick an empty box? marvelous. maybe don't write down tasks that are too onerous and demanding, break them into several smaller tasks, also try to write simple activities such as "drink a glass of water" every now and then. having these low-commitment activities will help you stay motivated while completing more important tasks.
𝟯. reverse-engineering method ( 🪴 )
start with the end goal and work backwards to plan the actions needed to achieve it. this helps you maintain clarity on the steps to take and focus on the most relevant actions. the best thing to do is plan based on the time available and do your best to stick to your daily goal.
𝟰. timer roulette ( ⏳ )
choose a task from your to-do list and set a random timer between 15 and 45 minutes. work on that task with all your concentration until the timer goes off. this helps you fight procastination and keep your mind fresh.
𝟱. mind mapping time ( 📍 )
before starting a study session, take a few minutes to create a mental map of the subject you need to cover. this helps you see connections between concepts and organize information more effectively.
𝟲. task batching ( 🫒 )
group similar tasks together and tackle them in batches. for example, reply to all emails in one session rather than doing so at scattered times throughout the day. this helps you reduce transition time between tasks and maintain focus. contrary to popular belief, human beings are not truly multitasking (only a few possess this great ability) and when we do multiple things together we do nothing but shift our attention from one task to another, greatly reducing the quality of our performance. if possible, try to avoid these switches that are harmful to your focus and concentration.
𝟳. the pomodoro method ( 🍅 )
okay, y'all probably already know this one because it became so popular in the last year but if you don't, the pomodoro method is a time management technique developed by francesco cirillo in the late 80s. it is based on the idea of working for short periods of time, usually 25 minutes, followed by a short 5 minute break. after four rounds of work, a longer break is taken, usually 15-30 minutes. this technique helps improve concentration and productivity, as it breaks down work into manageable tasks and offers regular breaks to rest and regenerate energy. i personally prefer the 50/10 ratio while i'm studying but you decide which time ratio is better for you, i find it really useful and it helps me a lot while i'm studying for my exams.

Pt. 2 (Reader's pov) ___________________________________________________________
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who was born with the whole package; beauty, brains and a golden spoon in his mouth. Add his outgoing personality in the mix and unsurprisingly, he's the most popular guy you'll ever meet. Everyone knows him and likes him despite his obnoxious and arrogant personality.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who excels in every field he participates in. He makes everything he does look easy, sports? Breaks no sweat, musical instruments? Piece of cake, studies? He doesn't even go 10 feet near his books but is still at the top of his class.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who just excels his whole life through and is appalled by the 'lack of competition' in the so-called top notch universities by the time he reaches high-school.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who knows that he's just gonna inherit his family's company but hey, he needs some good ol' competition to keep him on his toes. So he convinces his parents to open a university with 'actual' competition when in high-school, just for him to have some semblance of normality during his college life.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who drafts all the entrance exam papers for the university while still in highschool with the passing percentage set at 80% to pass but is soon changed to 50% just because the questions are 'that' hard to answer.
The University soon rises up the ladder and quickly gains recognition as one of the best universities world-wide due to its difficulty and 100% guarantee of being set for life once you graduate because of the facilities and connections provided.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who finally finds 'normalcy' and speed-runs through his college with ease and when he reaches his third-year, he finally hears the news he never thought he'd hear. Someone topped the entrance exams with a whopping 98.7%, a record unheard of with the difficulty level set on the paper and earning the said-individual a scholarship to the overly-pricy college.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who walks to the first-year class to check out the scholarship student and finds you easily enough, what with you being a sensation in the university and everyone flocking around you curiously. However, their attentions soon shifts from you to Satoru as he soon gets swarmed by excited first-year students, hungry for his attention and connections causing him to lose sight of you.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who's ecstatic as hell when he finds out that you're in the same advanced math and business class as his, lucky!
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who sits besides you instead of his assigned seat and questions you the whole time instead of paying attention to class. The teachers says nothing, the both of you are toppers and Satoru is a 'Gojo' afterall. Satoru's pleased when you reluctantly answer him no matter how short or curt your answers are, he's just happy to talk to you.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who's slightly confused, he swears that he knows you from somewhere, You tell him that he's delusional. He agrees.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who thrives off of attention slowly starts to wither when you start receiving it instead of him and his curiosity for you dies down as his pettiness grows. He's the special one. He always was, not you so why is everyone treating him like old news now?
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who grows more bitter when he hears both students and some teachers call you 'a breathe of fresh air' and the chosen one to finally put 'The Gojo Satoru' in his place. He loudly coughs and glares at them, the resentment for you growing a lot more than before.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who can't help but start hating you more when you publicly crush him in both chess and checkers, a humiliating defeat since he was the one who wanted to compete in the first place. You also defeat him in an unofficial tennis match that no one knows besides the two of you.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who starts disliking the competition he craved for ever since childhood since he's now being put in the back-burner because of you. Only thing holding his pride together is that you haven't scored higher than him in any subjects....yet.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who rushes towards the score boards, unsure of the results for the first time in his life. His heart sinks as he looks at the final score for the end of the year exams, him with an overall of 98% and you with an overall of 99%. He's bitter, oh so bitter. He looks around and catches sight of your impassive face looking at the scores, your gaze leaves the board and finally meets his, a small smile gracing your face as you nod at him once and leave him behind.
Prodigy Gojo Satoru who reads your smile as a smirk, a look of mock kindness. He thinks you're taking him as a joke, making him a joke and he seethes with rage. Balling his hands into fists and holding his head up high, he ignores the glances and whispers around him while briskly walking away.
AcademicRival Gojo Satoru who swears revenge upon you for the hit on his pride, you're not gonna beat him again and he's gonna make sure of that.

i could change up my body and change up my face
Tumblr media
arsenal x platonic young reader
warnings: this discusses an eating disorder. this is based off my experience; everyone's are different.
You thought you were doing the right thing. The healthy thing. You'd always been a more muscular player, and it hadn't really bothered you. Football players varied in size; it didn't mean anything for how good you were. You debuted for Arsenal at only 18, and people had a lot to say; most of it you could handle. The comments on your weight, on how if you were smaller, you'd be faster, better, were what caused the problems.
It spiraled quickly; one day you were skipping dessert, and the next you were skipping entire meals. It was hard to balance: eating enough that you didn't feel like you were going to pass out on the pitch, but not so much that you could barely look at yourself in the mirror. Evidently, it was harder than you thought. You only managed it a few weeks before people began to catch on that something was up.
Your teammates had noticed that your behavior was off recently. You were less talkative, and you saw everyone outside of training a lot less. A few of them had discussed it, and had decided to keep an eye on you, see if things got worse.
When you passed out during training, everyone thought you were joking. It had recently become a popular prank; you and Kyra pretending to be hurt, scaring everyone, before popping back up. It was a bit of a boy who cried wolf situation: when you went down, a few people glanced over, but thought you were kidding, especially because no one had been near you. It was a hot day, though, and you'd barely eaten. You were lightheaded before you got out on the pitch, but once training began it only got worse.
You managed to last through the first part of the scrimmage, before you had to stop, putting your hands on your knees and breathing hard. Black spots dotted out your vision, and the world spun gently around you. You though you heard Katie make a joke about you already being winded, but you were falling to the ground.
In fairness to your teammates, it only took about 10 seconds before they realized something was actually wrong. Katie and Lia watched you go down, and something about it just looked wrong; you crumpled too easily for it to have been on purpose. Swearing, they both rushed to your side, rolling you onto your back.
"Fuck. Medics!" Katie called, kneeling down beside you.
"Hey, y/n, can you hear me?" Lia called, lightly tapping your cheek. Your eyes were shut, and you were completely limp on the ground. At her prompting, though, you groaned, shifting slightly and opening your eyes. Both girls sighed in relief. You blinked up at them in confusion. Why were you on the ground? You tried to sit up, but both girls stopped you.
"No, stay here, we need to make sure everything's alright," Lia said, as the physios finally arrived. A small crowd had gathered around you and your cheeks flushed red at that realization. You'd messed up. No one was going to let it go that you'd passed out. None of your protective, caring, overbearing teammates would let it go until they knew why this had happened. And they couldn't know: if they knew, they'd make you stop.
That was really all you could think about: how possibly you were going to play this off. As they got you up, after you blatantly refused a stretcher, and walked you slowly into one of the medical rooms, your mind was flashing from excuse to excuse.
"What are you feeling?" John, the head physio, asked, once you'd settled on the exam table. He was looking at you carefully, as if he could see right through you; it was incredibly unnerving.
"Just a little dizzy, I don't think I drank enough water," you replied. John looked at you searchingly for a minute, before asking another question.
"Did you eat breakfast today?" he questioned, eyes not leaving yours. It was the way he asked; not what did you eat, but did you eat, that told you that you were caught. You knew they'd notice that you'd lost weight, you all had to do weigh ins to correctly meal plan. You just hadn't noticed a difference, and assumed there wasn't much of one. But the way that John was looking at you, it must have been more than you thought. Enough that they'd noted it, and enough that they seemed to know what they were dealing with.
"Yeah of course," you lied. He could tell.
"I'm gonna step out for a minute, alright?" With that, he headed out of the door, leaving you to stress in the room. You didn't know where he was going, and it terrified you that he could come back and blindside you with anything at any moment.
You heard voices in the hall, and prepared yourself for an onslaught of different physios, and maybe the club psychologist. You weren't really sure what your plan was, and you didn't have anytime to settle on one before the door was opening.
It wasn't John, or a different physio. Not the club psychologist either. It was Leah and Katie, both walking into the room with incredibly worried looks on their faces. Briefly, you thanked god that Kim was out; she had this specific look she gave, and whenever you got it from her, you told her whatever you had previously been trying to hide. The odds of being able to lie to Leah and Katie weren't great, but better than if Kim had been there too.
"Using me to slack of training, McCabe?" you tried to joke. Neither girl cracked a smile.
"We talked to John. Do you want to tell us what's going on?" Leah responded, ignoring your comment.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I just got dehydrated, I'm fine." Apparently, you'd decided to play dumb. A strategy you weren't so sure of as you tried to hold eye contact with Leah.
The blonde sighed, taking a seat in one of the chair in the room. Katie remained standing, arms crossed over her chest. You were expecting tough love; harsh words that told you to get your shit together. You weren't expecting Leah's voice to soften, for her to look at you like you were fragile.
"Y/n, we want to help you."
"I don't need help with anything," you insisted.
"Then why have you lost a significant amount of weight in the past 3 weeks? Why did you just pass out on the pitch? And why haven't we seen you at any team dinners recently?" Katie replied. Her expression was hard, but you knew it was masking her worry.
You didn't know what to respond to that, honestly. You'd been expecting them to tiptoe around the issue for a while, try to get you to admit to it. In the back of your mind, you wondered if maybe you weren't in trouble. Maybe what you'd done was wrong, was bad, but it didn't mean they were mad at you, like you'd expected.
"Listen kiddo, we know there's a problem. There isn't anything you can say that will make us think there isn't."
"I don't know what to tell you. There isn't anything going on. It's not on me if you guys are seeing things that aren't there," you replied, crossing your arms. Both girls sighed, and exchanged looks.
"Okay, y/n, if that's how you want to play it. If everything is fine, you can come over for dinner with me and Lia tonight." Leah told you.
"I can't-" you began.
"Be there at 6," she interrupted, her tone leaving absolutely no room for argument.
-----
You took a seat at the table, putting your hands underneath to hide how much they were shaking. You really didn't want to be here, but there was literally no way to get out of it. If you didn't show, you expected Leah, Lia, Katie, and probably half the team to show up to your house. You didn't want to draw anymore attention to the issue that you already had, so you just needed to get through this dinner, eat the food, and go home.
How hard could it be?
"We made your favorite," Leah told you, setting down a full plate in front of you.
"We?" Lia questioned, smirking at the other woman.
"Okay, Lia made your favorite, I sat nearby and kept morale up." You only weakly smiled in response, your attention still on the seemingly massive amount of food in front of you. If they noticed, they left it, taking seats on either side of you.
They kept the conversation going, with you contributing very little. Instead, you pushed the food around your plate, taking bites every so often. You weren't saying anything, forcing every bite down your throat. Lia and Leah watched you carefully, seeing the way every time you brought the fork to your mouth, you looked like you were in pain.
You could have done this meal normally. It was just that you'd had to eat lunch with the team after training, and the food in front of you was food that had practically haunted your nightmares in the last few weeks.
By the time you'd gotten halfway done with your plate, you were close to tears. The conversation had died out, and the older women were watching you as the fork shook in your hand.
"Y/n," Leah said softly, placing her hand over yours to stop it from trembling.
You let out a deep exhale, putting your face in your hands.
"I'm sorry," you said, voice muffled. You felt horrible. Truly, completely, horrible. All you could think about was the calories you'd consumed, and the fact that there was literally no way for you to deny this anymore. It was terrifying; the recognition from the others that you had a problem made it all the more real to you.
A hand was on your arm, pulling you away from the table. You went with it, standing and following Leah out of the kitchen. She led you to the couch, sitting down in the armchair across from you. Lia came in too, placing a glass of water on the table, before sitting down on the next to you. You were staring intently at the rug, following the pattern in it across the floor, instead of looking at either of the other people in the room.
"You don't need to apologize, y/n. You're not in trouble, and we're not mad at you." Leah stated cautiously. You remained quiet. "Can you tell me when this started?"
You bit the inside of your cheek, thinking for a minute.
"Neither of us are going to judge you for anything you tell us. And we aren't going to tell anyone what you say, as long as you let us get you help," Lia promised, and you found yourself looking up at her, blinking back tears. Her face was open, kind, and you felt yourself opening your mouth and beginning to talk.
"It's only been like a month."
"Did something happen that caused it?" Lia questioned.
“I'm not really even sure what happened. I know I shouldn't read comments on social media but I did and I couldn't stop and all of a sudden..." you trailed off.
Both girls sat in silence for a minute, clearly thinking hard about what they wanted to say.
"We'll talk to the club psychologist, and we'll get you in therapy. We'll get you better, and everything will be fine," Leah said, trying to project confidence. You knew she was just trying to help; outline a plan for you, let you know that there was a fix.
It wasn't that easy, though. The way she said it, like it was just a matter of going to therapy, and then it would be all better, made you inexplicably angry. Clearly, she didn't understand how hard this would be.
"It's not that fucking simple Leah," you said bitingly, and both girls looked at you in surprise.
"Y/n, I know it's not-"
"No, you can't just say that. List out 2 steps and make it seem like it'll be easy. It's going to be impossible, and I don't even want to-" you cut yourself off, jaw snapping shut.
"You don't even want to what, y/n?" Lia asked, eyebrows pinched in confusion.
"I don't want to stop. I don't think I can, I don't think I'm strong enough," you said, voice cracking over the last few words. Just as quickly as it had arrived, your anger had disappeared, leaving your eyes stinging with tears.
Before you knew what was happening, Leah was crossing the space in between you, sitting down on your other side, and pulling you into a bone crushing hug. The force of it knocked the air out of you slightly, leaving you to hold tightly to the stability that Leah brought.
"I'm sorry, buddy. I didn't mean to make it sound like it would be easy; I know it won't be," she paused. "Alright, I don't know what it will be like, because I haven't gone through this, but I promise you, you are strong enough to get better.
"And you don't have to do it alone; we'll be here, whatever you need," Lia cut in from your other side, sounding earnest. They wanted to help, so badly. It shouldn't have surprised you, how much they cared, but it did. It always did.
-----
Lia had told the truth. Every member of the team, even if they didn't know exactly what was going on, helped you in some way.
Leah and Lia had you over for dinner most nights; their support was silent, but there all the same. They didn't make a big deal of it if you finished your meal, or if you didn't. They trusted that you were trying.
Katie took your phone one day, wordlessly grabbing it out of your hands and disappearing. When she came back with it, you found the comments on all your posts limited to people you followed.
Alessia ate lunch with you, every day, no matter how long it took. She talked to you to, about her experience, but never made you feel like you had to tell her anything in return. It helped more than you could express, knowing that you weren't alone, that someone knew what you were going through.
Viv grocery shopped for you, when she figured out it was something you struggled with. She always bought too much, but she always gave you options. When things started to get easier, Viv still took you grocery shopping. It was her way of checking in without making you talk, seeing how you were doing by how overwhelmed you got.
You were partially right; it wasn't easy, but you were strong enough. And when you weren't feeling like you were, your teammates stepped up and were strong where you weren't. You could do it, you could recover. You weren't sure if you would have been able to by yourself, but it didn't matter, because you weren't.

hii i could you write popular!bakugou x quiet!reader or bakugou x reader inspired by in between by gracie adams 🤍
ofc! xx 4 - popular bakugou x quiet reader (characters are aged up and in college btw) wc: 691
Tumblr media
either everybody is in love with bakugou or wants to be him. he has so many people asking about his quirk all the time and trying to get close to him, and he doesnt mind the attention. he's not cocky about his popularity, but he has a lot of pride. he's never alone, always walking the halls with people following him.
then theres you. a silent girl in most of his classes. you keep to yourself for the most part with very few close friends. in all of his lectures with you, you're seat is in front of him, and you'd never bothered him. not once. he honestly never really thought about you that much till a specific night.
"you idiots." bakugou grumbles to himself as he gets out of a friends car. he wasted yet another night of studying by partying with people he didnt even really like. except for his friend kiri, he was alright.
it was already 10:30. he wouldnt be able to stay awake, but he can't just go to sleep? nono, exams are very close, he needs to get as much information glued in his brain as possible. kiri had recommended having a study buddy. but who the hell would want to actually study with bakugou?? everyone would be distracted and frankly, he didnt have time for that.
and besides, he doesnt need anyone else. right? wrong.
because now as he walks up the stairs to the dormitories, he decides to find you. you were pretty normal for the most part, he thought. a bit of a nerd too, so he wasn't too worried about you having the wrong shit written down. he found your dorm and knocked softly, letting out a sigh.
meanwhile, you were munching on freshly made chocolate chip cookies while going over notes you had gotten from the lecture yesterday. you leaned back against your chair in a tiny tank top and shorts with your hair up in a claw clip. you had light music going on in the background, bopping your head slightly. though the bopping stopped as your head cocked to the side as soon as you heard the thuds of someone's steps coming towards your room.
you stood up when said person knocked on your door. maybe one of your friends came by, you thought. you grinned, excited you made so many cookies. you tip-toed to the door and swung it open.
with his hands dug into his pockets and a somewhat tired look on his face, the katsuki bakugou stood at your door in all his glory. "oh!" you squealed, your hand covering your mouth. "sorry, i-i just wasn't expecting you." you nervously spoke, feeling slightly embarassed.
"i need help. be my study buddy." bakugou spoke bluntly.
"huh? study buddy?" you muttered. bakugou stayed quiet and stepped into your room confidently, looking around. you stood to the side and shut the door behind you, following him inside where he walked over to your desk, looking at your neatly written notes. "yeah. you aint stupid or anythin' right?" he cocked a brow.
you shook your head softly. "no, i dont think so."
he nodded, eyes wandering down to what you were wearing. your eyes stared into his and realized what you had on. he bit the inside of his cheek. "what're you expectin' someone over?"
you shook your head, feeling awkward. "uh, no." you cleared your throat as bakugou sat in your chair, flipping through the pages you had spent such delicate time working on. "do you want a cookie?" you asked politely, pointing towards the plate on your desk, walking towards him. his head turned to where your finger was pointing.
he shrugged, taking one and biting into it. it was soft and chewy. and warm. his eyes brightened a little, just a little. "t's not bad. would be better with coffee." he stared at the bitten cookie in his hand, careful not to make a mess. you smiled at this. "coffee coming up!" you skipped to the kitchen.
that was the first time you had really spent time with him and you'd gotten to know him better than you thought you would have just by studying. needless to say, you enjoyed his company. you weren't around people too often, yet alone someone as popular and liked as bakugou.
as for him, he would never forget that day. it may sound stupid, but he thought you were something.. special. you didn't talk to him about his quirk, not once. you didn't ask if he had a girlfriend or if he was free next friday night. you were just you.
and you talked more than he anticipated also. guess you just had a lot kept inside till then. it seemed like that night, he had turned into the quiet one. and he didn't mind it at all. he grew closer with you and fell in love with you. yet, in class, you were still quiet. however, when it was just you two, you yapped for hours on end about anything.
he grinned at the thought.

Cool Kanji Party Tricks
Or “How I Use Kanji to Impress My Friends”
Learning kanji can be daunting, especially for those just starting out in their Japanese studies. There are two thousand standard kanji needed to read a newspaper, but Japanese people know and use many thousands more. There are several methods available to self study kanji (just do a quick Google search to find the most popular), but any serious study of kanji takes time. Lots of time. It can feel like studying kanji over and over is a waste of time, especially since you have the internet at your fingertips to look things up at any time. However, I really believe that having a good foundation in kanji is essential to mastering Japanese, and I wanted to share what I call "cool party tricks" to encourage you in your kanji studies.
Tumblr media
What are "cool kanji party tricks"? This is just a list of things I have noticed that having a solid understanding of kanji will allow you to do. I have been studying Japanese for more than 10 years, and most of these things I just noticed one day in an a-ha moment, and even though someone had told me for years that learning and practicing kanji is important, it took several realizations for me to truly grasp what that meant. I would say that many of these require an intermediate grasp of the language to be able to use consistently, but I think that you can start doing any of these after achieving a basic foundation in the Japanese language.
So when your hand is cramped from writing the same kanji for hours, when on'yomi and kun'yomi have become swear words, and when you lost that one little point on the exam because the kanji you were supposed to use was only off by one stroke from the kanji you actually used... I hope you will remember this post and feel a little bit encouraged.
Find the appropriate kanji to use when typing in the romaji/hiragana on a computer/phone
Since I started my Japanese studies during high school, the formal classes I was taking had me writing out kanji for homework in order to remember it and to be able to pass the quizzes and exams. So I spent many hours writing out kanji only to end up with hand cramps and ugly looking written characters. It took ages and the stream of kanji that I had to learn seemed endless. However, one benefit I quickly saw was that I was able to quickly adapt to typing in Japanese on a computer/phone because I was able to correctly identify the kanji that I had practiced, and knew which one to select when several choices came up.
In Japanese, many words have the same sounds but different kanji and meanings (these are called homophones). So when you type in the hiragana or romaji for a word into the keyboard, it will prompt you with a list of kanji to choose from. Being able to correctly select the right one is something I suddenly realized I could do one day, even if I hadn't used the word often. I knew and could recall a larger number of kanji than I thought, and I could eliminate any incorrect kanji for the word I was trying to use. Having a good solid foundation in kanji characters means that you don't have to go look up every word in the dictionary to check that you have the right kanji, and you also don't have to leave the word in kana because you can't guess the right kanji, but rather you are confident enough to pick the correct kanji for the word on your own. This makes typing more efficient and saves time!
Understand the meaning of a word just by looking at the kanji
When you know a significant amount of kanji and what they mean, sometimes when you encounter new compound words you can guess at what they mean. Or if you are like me and sometimes forget how to read words you are already supposed to know, you can magically relearn them by looking at the kanji and interpreting the meaning. So sometimes when I am reading text in Japanese and I see a compound I don't know, I can interpret the meaning from context and from my understanding of the individual kanji, and continue through the text without stopping to look up the word. This helps you to get the gist of a text without having to look up all the words, and is how you can start reading more advanced books or manga.
Guess at the pronunciation of a word from the kanji
On the flip side of the previous cool party trick is being able to guess how to pronounce a word by knowing the on'yomi and kun'yomi of the kanji, and therefore being able to guess at the pronunciation of a word. Unless the word has 人 or 生 in it. This helps most when reading out loud in class or to another person. It will also help you to feel smug about yourself while reading a book that is of a more advanced level and being able to determine the reading of several compound words in a row.
Understanding a new word using kanji clues
As an extension of the previous cool party tricks, I eventually reached the point where I could hear a word in conversation that I had never heard before, and figure out the meaning using kanji clues.
For example, not all Japanese people know English (shocking, right?), and busting out your phone to look up every single word you don't know can become burdensome in continuing the flow of a conversation. So, if I hear a word that I don't know during a conversation (and the continuation or flow of the conversation hinges on my understanding of the word), I will stop the person and either ask what kanji the word is written with, or if I have a guess I will ask "is this using the kanji for X?" This way I can gain clues to the key word without stopping the flow of conversation too much. (It's also a fun way to show off to Japanese speakers.)
For example, if you hear the word jishin (じしん) in conversation, and you aren't sure which meaning the speaker intended:
自信 self-confidence
自身 one's self
You can ask:
"Did you mean 自信 (jishin) with the "shin" from 信用 (shin'you) or did you mean 自身 (jishin) with the "mi" (another pronunciation of 身) as in one's body?"
Then the person can respond:
"Oh, I mean 身 (mi)! As in, 自分自身 (jibun jishin), or one's self."
Then, you can continue the conversation, having an understanding of what the speaker is saying and not having to take out your phone to translate as often. This also can give the person you are speaking to a better sense of your level and help them to tailor the conversation to you.
[I hope this conveys what I am trying to illustrate ^.^]
TL;DR: Kanji is Fun
Honestly, when kanji clicks and you can read words or understand their meanings, it's like deciphering a secret code, and this is one of the things I find so cool about Japanese, and why I have studied it for so long. So if you are just starting out and are daunted by kanji - don't worry. I am still daunted by kanji, but I also find it a useful tool to improve my knowledge of Japanese and to communicate in a way many people cannot. I hope this information was useful and inspires you to suffer through learn more kanji.

i hope you like it my darlings, get a bit rest if you need to! i love you all <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were sitting quietly in class, writing down some notes till you felt something lightly hit the back of your head. You turn around to see Wanda snickering with her face buried in a book.
You sigh, looking down, you grab the note and quietly read it. ‘meet me at the library in 10.’ with a little heart doodle at the end of the note. You furrow your brows in confusion, looking back at Wanda, who has her full attention on the book in her hands, occasionally checking the time on her phone.
You shrug it off and crumble up the paper, tossing it in your backpack.
It was a free period, so you went to the library to get some books to study for your upcoming history exam. “Where the hell is it..” you mutter to yourself, getting up on your toes to peek up at the top row of books.
“Is this what you're looking for?” you hear a voice behind you, “Oh.. Wanda. Yeah that– it's what I was looking for.” you say, attempting to grab it from her, only for her to move it out the way. “Uh-uh what do we say?” you huff, “Can I please get the book?”
She smirks, slowly backing you up onto the bookshelf. “And?” you step back, gasping quietly when your back hits the shelves. “Wanda w-we're in public,” you whisper, “-and in a library.”
She frowns, kissing your neck. “So what?” she says, running her hand up your thigh and under your skirt. You clutch at her wrist, “People could see us.” she flicks away your hand, moving her hand up your thighs.
“I don't care. You.. just look so cute in this outfit today, all I wanna do is touch you.” she kisses your neck, slowly sucking onto your pulse point. “Wanda, as much as I'm enjoying this, we have to sto—” you get cut off with a moan, as your body betrays you when she slips two of her fingers into your panties.
“We have to what? Hm?” she whispers into your ear, trapping you in between her and the bookshelf. “Wanda..” you whine, you couldn't tell what for. Desperate for her touch? Or for her to stop?
“Yeah?” she circles your clit with the pad of her thumb, humming quietly as she kisses your forehead. “I– I..” she puts on a fake smile, “What is it baby?” she looks down, gazing into your eyes. Without any warning nor hesitation, she shoves in her two digits inside your dripping cunt.
She adores the way your eyes widen, panicked whether you would get caught, or in pleasure as she thrusts her fingers deep inside your pussy. “Wanda.. Wanda please what if we get caught or–” she presses her lips to yours, pining you down with her arm above your head and the other around your waist.
“Has anyone seen Wanda? We've been looking all...” voices from afar could be heard, and the brunette pulls back, covering your mouth with her hand. “Wndhmff wht the hell mmph—” your words muffled as she holds you down. “Shh.. malysh,” your eyes start to wander around the library, wondering what she was hiding from. “My friends. I– I can't let them see us me out here.”
“mmh–phff,!” she slowly takes her hand off of your mouth, allowing you to breathe. “I told you this would happen Wands..” you quietly say, adjusting your messy, wrinkled skirt.
“Yeah.. yeah,” she says, her gaze flicking from you to the back of the room, checking if her friends left.
She lets out a sigh of relief when the group is seen leaving the library. “I'm sorry Y/N.” she whispers, lowering her eyes to yours. “Are we.. together? Like girlfriends?” your voice comes out more insecure than you thought it would. ‘Fuck, I shouldn't have asked that.’
“Yes! Yes.. why wouldn't we be? Krasivaya?” you shake your head, swallowing dryly. “No reason– it's just, I'm just.. so tired. Of running around whenever your friends are present, and not being able to talk about you with any of my friends.” you say, attempting to look away from her.
She clenches her jaw, bringing a hand up to your cheek to turn your eyes to her. “I told you, nobody from our classes can know about us..” her hold on your cheek tightens, forcing you to part your lips slightly.
“Is that clear?” the grip on your face was tight, harsh even. So rough that it started to hurt, and you could feel the side of your face reddening. Tears pool at your eyes, glossing them over. You tap at her wrist, “Wanda– please. It hurts.. I—” she pulls her hand away quickly, a frantic look displayed on her face.
“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Y/N please. I'm so sorry,” she lets out a choked sob, pulling you into an embrace. She wrapped her arms around you, continuously kissing the top of your head, and your forehead. “I'm so sorry, I– malysh I'm so,” she presses a kiss to your cheeks, “-so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you.” she pecks your lips softly, her brows scrunched up in guilt and worry.
“It's fine Wanda..” your slowly regain control over your breath, gently rubbing her back. “I-I'm okay. You don't need to apologize darling.” you say, pulling apart to wipe her tears off. “We're okay.”
That last part came out in a whisper. She never heard it.

3k - A celebration!
Hey there, guys and gals!
Tumblr media
TLDR: There's a poll at the bottom asking which story deserves a sequel!
Today is a very special day, at least to me. After a little more of one year posting stories to Tumblr, I have reached the absolutely staggering number of 3000 followers. During this time, I have posted about 100 stories with a unbelievable (and I kid you not) 33,333 likes and reblogs. Yes, this is the exact number at the time of writing this post. Yes, I wrote a program to look that up and the number is accurate.
Let me just say: Wow. And thank you. 3000 of you found my writing enjoyable enough to want me in their feed. And there were exactly 33,333 times in the past year-and-a-bit that someone actually *liked* what they saw/read/skimmed over. I couldn't feel more honored, really.
As a celebration, I am going to do something I usually don't (even though I have been asked a couple of times): I will write a sequel or prequel or related story to one of those stories YOU liked most. Remember the program I wrote to find out my total number of notes? Yeah, the original function was to find out the stories with the most notes. Out of the top six of those, I will let you chose the one story you want to see more of. Additionally (although it is only at rank 10), as a seventh option I'll add "Your wish is my command", since that is the story I have received the most sequel requests. So, without further lamenting, here are the stories!
#1: 11:48
#2: Boyfriend Material
#3: ATArena
#4: Spice Up
#5: Beating Recession
#6: Calling the Plumber
#7: Your Wish is my Command
So! Which one is it going to be? Choose wisely!
That's it from my side for today. Stay awesome!

Azutara #10
highschool popular kid / nerd au
oooooh i got it. okay let's go.
***
Katara forgets how to breathe for a moment.
Most of her junior year, she spent sat at them bleechers, her nose buried in at least two books alternatively, checking out the dissimilarities between them talking about the same subject. She then combines the two to create her own version, taking the gist of it and applies it to her exams. It seems to be working really well cuz she keeps getting straight A's.
She always prefers the bleechers, mostly because of the ample space the benches provide her to actively spread out the study material. But also because the ambient noises of students training for various different sports, provide for a great white noise for some reason.
AP Biology rocks her world like no other subject has ever done. In knowing the intricacies of the human body, as well as other nuanced processes that tag along with it, Katara's even better than her teacher, sometimes. Proving to be humile, she bites her tongue every time her teacher get it wrong. So, it's safe to say that Katara knows fairly well how the human body works.
That is exactly the reason why she's surprised when she realises she forgot how to breathe. Standing there, two meters away from her, sweat glistening on her body, looking directly at her, is the school's most popular girl.
Azula Fyre.
All these days Katara spent on the bleechers, she had had to control her eyes whenever they betrayed her, straying to the pale Asian girl, running the circumference of the whole ground at least 5 times before she went in for her routine workout. And each time she passed Katara, the blue-eyed girl couldn't help but stare at Azula's lithe frame, whizzing past her. In theory, Biology came easy to Katara. But practically, she has no control over her body whenever the popular girl is involved.
Azula steps closer to her, cautiously. "Do you ever do anything else other than study all the time?"
Up unitl now, Katara, not really keen on sending her body into a frenzy, had been quiet, trying her best to ignore Azula's scrutinizing look. But now that she's directly speaking to her, and no one's around for at least 50 meters, Katara has no choice but to interact.
"Who? Me?" She asks. She knows it's dumb. But she can't help but let her brain short-circuit.
Azula lets out a chuckle, the afternoon sun doing it's best to tan her pale skin. "Yeah, you. There's no one else here. I see you here all the time and you've always got your nose buried in heaps of books."
"Right." Katara blinks, looking around awkwardly, trying to settle her nerves. "I do other . . . stuff. It's not just reading."
Azula arches one perfect brow. "Like what?"
Katara takes a moment to answer. Not because she doesn't know the answer, but because she just started sweating through her shirt for some reason and her body doesn't seem to be listening to her. "Does wrestling with my brother for mundane stuff count?"
Azula lets out a breath, smiling ever-so-slightly. "Maybe." She steps closer and takes a seat right beside Katara.
Katara tries to go back to reading. She really does. But the heated presence of Azula physically stops her. She doesn't know why or how.
"You're Katara Ocean, right?" Azula quips, after a second, resting her palms on either side of her toned thighs, looking at the blue-eyed girl sideways.
Katara perks up. "You know my name?"
"Uh . . ." Azula blinks for a moment, seemingly faltering for some reason. But she quickly collects herself. "You're in Bio with me."
Of course.
"I'm Azula." She says, with a soft smirk on her face. "You would know that if you turned your head to the back of the class too, from time to time."
Katara fights a smile, which unfortunately for her, breaks through her lips with barely any resistance. "I know that." She manages to mumble, looking down at her books.
Even if she didn't turn around in Bio class, she would've known that.
Azula tries to catch Katara's eyes, bending forward a little. "Then you must also know that I do track."
Katara nods, looking at the pale girl through her eyelashes. What she doesn't know is why is this girl talking to her?! She literally is at the top of the food-chain. And Katara is . . . well, Katara. She hangs out mostly with Aang, who's a freshman and her brother Sokka, who's a senior. She keeps to herself most of the time.
Seeing that Katara isn't that responsive, Azula lets out a short sigh. "Well . . ." She says, making a move as if to get up.
But Katara, seeing that her chance is slipping right through her fingers, interrupts her. "Do you only sprint?"
"What?" Azula sits back down, smiling.
"Track." Katara says so fast, it's barely English. "Do you only sprint?"
Azula looks at her curiously for a hot second. "No, I'm uh . . . I signed up for marathons too."
Katara frowns. "That's . . . dichotomic . . ." Azula raises her brow again so Katara explains herself. "I mean, sprints require white muscle groups to-"
"-to provide me with a quick, short burst of energy, I know." Azula finishes Katara's sentence and Katara can do nothing but let her lips fall open at her surprise.
She's smart too?!
Azula looks down at the ground. "I need to improve my stamina; build up my red muscle groups so that I can sustain for long periods of time too." Then she turns to Katara. "That's why I signed up for marathons and been practicing for it ever since."
Her almost golden brown eyes scan Katara's face, noticing her surprised look. "What?"
Katara closes her mouth in a hurry. "N- Nothing."
"I'm in Bio class with you remember? If that's what you're thinking . . ."
"She taught us that completely wrong in class."
"Well," Azula gets up from her seat, with a tone of finality in her voice. "I may be a jock. But I'm not that dumb."
She smirks at Katara and her stomach suddenly flips without her permission. "See ya later! It was nice meeting you!" Azula shouts over her shoulder as she sprints away in direction of the locker room.
The grin on Katara's face doesn't let her read anymore.
...
"Yes, Miss Fyre?" The Biology teacher, Mrs. Hung, pulls her glasses down to the tip of her nose to see better.
Katara turns around in her seat to follow her line of sight, and soon enough, her eyes fall on Azula's raised hand, at the back of the class.
"15." Azula states simply, with a bored look on her face.
"That's incorrect." Mrs. Hung says with a sigh. "Anybody else?"
"15 is the correct answer." Azula says again with an annoyed look on her face.
Mrs. Hung sighs again. "I'm afraid the correct answer is 12, Miss Azula."
Azula rolls her eyes. "No. I'm pretty sure it's 15. You forgot to add the 3 molecules of ATP when pyruvic acid is converted to acetyl coA and oxidation by the mitochondrian transport system. The answer, hence, with basic math, 12 + 3, is 15."
Katara gulps.
Azula's right. Mrs. Hung's been messing up the entire Kerb's cycle today and it feels like that was Azula's last straw. But the look on Mrs. Hung face, the glare that she's aiming at the popular girl, her cheeks turning redder than Rudolph the reindeer, alarms Katara.
"Are you questioning my method of teaching, young lady?!" Mrs. Hung boils.
"I most definitely am, old lady." Azula says with a smirk on her face.
Katara's eyes widen. The whole class goes "ooooooooohhhh" at that.
"Alright, that does it!" Mrs. Hung yells. "Miss. Fyre, out of my class. Now!" She points to the door.
"Gladly." Azula breathes a huge sigh of relief, gathering her notes in her arms and walking to the front of the class.
When she reaches to where Katara's sitting, her golden brown haze locks with sparkling blue ones and Azula throws her a victorious smirk, just before exiting the class.
That's the second time this week Katara's had trouble breathing.
...
That afternoon, as soon as Azula's golden brown eyes fall on Katara, she comes running to the bleechers. Katara's face heats up quickly as she makes the blunder of looking at the popular girl's toned abs in her track uniform as she runs.
She averts her gaze as soon as Azula nears her.
"One may think Hung will shut up for decades after I embarrassed her like that. But that isn't gonna stop her, is it?" The lithe girl breathes out, panting a little.
Katara looks up with a hesitant smile. "But, you shouldn't have done that."
"What? And let her grow a bunch of dumb-witted jerks?! I don't think so."
Katara doesn't try to stop her grin this time.
Azula looks at her longingly. "You can laugh. It's funny."
"It was kind of funny." Katara chuckles.
Katara's eyes, heavy from straining to hold itself up, drops down to Azula's heaving chest, where a single drop of sweat runs the length of her neck and drips down, and disappears between her-
Katara clears her eyes and averts her throat-
Wait, no- She clears her throat and averts her eyes.
God! She really needs to get a grip!!
"Your hair looks . . . very dark." Azula says hesistantly, and Katara meets her gaze again. "It can house an entire school of Anglerfish in it. Because . . . it's so dark." The pale girl slightly points her finger to Katara's hair to further insinuate her point.
Katara frowns slightly. That was a very . . . specific compliment to give. If you can even call it a compliment. Azula seems to realise her plight too and she subtly scratches the nape of her neck awkwardly.
Nonetheless, Katara offers her a sweet smile. "Thank you."
Azula's face immediately lights up, and Katara practically swoons at the girl's smile. She tries to distract herself again, by letting her eyes fall down to the book in front of her, but not before she hears the golden-eyed girl mumble something along the lines of ". . . can't believe that worked!" to herself.
A few seconds of silence passes, until Azula breaks it, again. "I'm sorry, I know I should just let you study, but my track-meet is coming up this weekend and I was thinking that maybe you could . . ."
Katara looks up at her, eyes wide with surprise. "Y- You want me to attend your track-meet?"
Azula offers her a nervous smile. "Well, the whole school would be here, and since you study so much I thought maybe you wouldn't be interested these kind of . . . activities. I thought if I invited you personally maybe- you know what? Forget it. I never should've asked and-"
Katara involuntarily reaches out to place her palm on the rambling girl's arm. "I'll be there."
Azula sucks in a sharp breath. "You will?!"
"Of course." Katara reluctantly withdraws her hand from Azula's arm, but not before getting a glimpse of how toned it felt under her fingers.
The grin Azula gives her could dull the Sun. "Okay, great!" She stands up abrupty. "I will look forward to it." She walks back awkwardly. "See you there. Bye!"
Katara waves her goodbye and Azula once again, sprints to the locker room.
...
It's loud. Very loud and Katara almost starts an headache. But she pushes it to the sidelines as she focuses on a jumping Azula, way over there on the race track. She's twisting from time to time, hopping on her feet, warming up.
Katara's never seen the bleechers so full. Ever. She's sitting at the blue side of the seats that represent their school. Azula hops a little more, and Katara stares at her, hoping against all odds that she would win.
Suddenly, Azula's eyes find her, and Katara's breath catches painfully in her throat. Even from this distance, her golden brown eyes are striking.
She waves directly at her and Katara's face heats up quickly. Every person around Katara waves back to Azula, thinking they were the ones being waved at.
Azula just rolls her eyes, noticing it and returns back to hopping.
A few minutes later, a shrill whistle echoes through the area and the contestants immediately fall into position, bracing their fingers on the ground, ready to sprint.
It's a 200 meter run, and Katara's heart rate quickens in anticipation, her eyes never leaving the pale skinned girl. A voice on the mic says, "Set." and the runners' butt lift in unison.
Silence falls heavy on the bleechers, building up the anticipation. Then suddenly, the shrill whistle blows again and the runners take off in jet speed.
The crowd erupts in cheers, urging their favourite players on immediately. Katara clasps her fingers together, watching with bated breath.
Azula runs like the wind. She runs so fast that there's at least a meter's gap between her and whoever's behind her. She quickly takes the lead, crossing the finish line in a whirlwind, securing the first place, with the kind of ease only she seems to posses.
The crowd goes wild. Their cheer slowly turns into a chant of Azula's name over and over again. Every one rushes into the track, scooping Azula in their arms and lifting her up.
Katara almost cries.
...
Monday afternoon sees Katara hesitantly walking into an empty girls' locker room, eyes scanning for a specific someone.
A locker door shuts close and immediately reveals Azula clad in just her bra and sports shorts. Katara gulps, averting her wandering gaze quickly. But before she could even start talking, Azula's captivating gaze falls on her.
"Hey!" She beams. "I was so worried! You weren't there after the track-meet ended and I didn't see you at the bleechers today either."
"Sorry." Katara says sheepishly. "I was a little . . . pre-occupied."
Azula gives her a suspicious look, but doesn't question it further. She throws a towel over her forearm and holds her silence for a second longer before she chuckles. "I had no idea you'd know the way to the locker, considering how your nose is always in a book."
Katara reaches over and slaps Azula lightly on the arm. "Shut up."
The motion causes the towel over Azula's arm to fall to the floor. Katara immediately steps closer, bending forward to pick it up, before Azula could. She straightens herself, a sudden rush of adrenaline pumping through her viens. "I'm so sorry. I-"
And for the fourth time, Katara forgets how to breathe, as she suddenly realises how her face is merely an inch away from the sprinter's face.
"Don't worry about it . . ." The golden-eyed girl is saying, but she trails off, too close to even whisper. Her gaze dips to Katara's lips, staying there a second longer before she returns her now darkening eyes back to Katara's brilliant blue ones.
"Azula . . ." Katara whispers.
And before she knows what's happening, Azula is upon her, hungry lips crashing with hers in a cacophony of new emotions Katara didn't know the human body could feel.
It all happens so fast. One moment Katara's eyes are widening from the shock and the next moment she's kissing the popular girl back just as hungrily. The towel in her hand falls down once again and neither even pays attention to it.
Azula's hands find her hips and she grasps it firmly, before lifting Katara up with ease, slamming her against the locker. The blue-eyed girl could do nothing but whimper, as she wraps her legs around Azula's toned back. She tries to keep up with the pace Azula's setting, but fails miserably.
Azula pulls back a little, planting her lips under Katara's ear. "I've been wanting to do this since I first saw you at the damn bleechers months ago." She rasps into Katara's ear and Katara can only shudder in response.
She clutches onto Azula's neck for dear life, as she captures her lips again with a raw hunger, devouring her to submission completely.
Silent whimpers from Katara's throat when the kisses become deeper and filled with more purpose, makes Azula pull away, resting her forehead on Katara's.
"Azula . . ." Katara says again, but her brain seems to freeze completely, focusing on nothing but the way Azula's holding her right now, painfully aware of the fact that Azula's between her legs.
"I wanna do this right." Azula states, panting like she just ran one of her sprints. "Jasmine Dragon. Saturday night. 7 pm."
Katara nods frantically, bumping her nose against Azula's. The sprinter lets out a chuckle, kissing the tip of Katara's nose softly, before giving her a chaste kiss again on the lips.
She lets her down from her grip, and Katara slides down, knees buckling under her. She fights the urge to just slam her lips back on Azula again.
"Get out of here before I change my mind." Azula breathes out.
Katara stumbles all the way back to her home, her brain still not grasping on to what the heck just happened, a stupid smile on her face.

choi soobin — most popular vocalist under hybe, known for being the most boyfriend material. takes idol life very seriously and tries his best to appease his fans. to him his fans’ happiness >> over his own. stays out late practicing and yeonjun and beomgyu have to drag him back to their place. absolutely despises the idea of soulmates, believes it’s dogshit and refuses to write any songs about it. adamantly believes he doesn’t have one and anytime an interview brings it up he’ll go on a five minute rant. there’s a million ‘soobin going off on soulmates for 10 mins’ compilations.
choi beomgyu — most popular producer and vocalist under hybe, helps produce yeonjun and soobin’s albums. just along for the ride, his pr team is in shambles every week from the tweets he posts. adores the idea of soulmates like this man has written so many albums on it.
choi yeonjun — most popular dancer under hybe, helps choreograph beomgyu and soobin’s performances sometimes. also loves to model. the eldest of the trio but acts like the youngest. laidback about being an idol, he loves it but he’s not as strict with himself like soobin is. doesn’t care if he has a soulmate or not he’s happy as he is.
extra info — all under hybe entertainment as soloists and live together in a luxury apartment. have been idols for four years and counting. they used to tour as a trio when they were newly debuted but now they’re branching out to create their own music. they all swing both ways #inclusivity

helloooo!! can I request a the pjsk boys with a reader who is "perfect"/popular (example: good grades, a lot of friends, talented in art/most school subjects, etc) but they actually hate it (bc people keep using it as an argument when the reader discusses about their grades)? I'm sorry if this is too specific bc this is basically a summary of me 😭 But anyway, thanks in advance, I love your writing <)
-> 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞…
You can’t help being a natural at almost anything you do, just like others can’t help seeing that as your only trait. Fortunately, there’s always someone who doesn’t see you only for your skills…
With Akito Shinonome, Toya Aoyagi, Tsukasa Tenma & Rui Kamishiro | Genre - Comfort with a fair amount of angst
Cw) anxiety, pent up emotions, belittling, fights (none between reader and characters listed above), it gets noticeably shorter during Tsukasa’s part cause I was tired
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Akito felt honored at first. You, of all people, saw something good enough in him that was actually worth something. It almost didn’t feel real. But this type of thinking didn’t last long, not even a week in fact.
He quickly realized he shouldn’t have been idolizing you the way he was, and you were still a regular person just like him. You may be more skilled, intelligent and quicker than others, but you were still a regular high schooler at the end of the day.
But that didn’t make others think the same way.
You made everything look so easy, so simple. Your peers admired you for this, and held you up on the pedestal Akito once did. A part of him worried about you. After all, all these people can’t acknowledge any flaws you have. You should be happy, right?
But that wasn’t the case at all.
You felt pressured, anxious, worried. What if you messed something up? Would anyone ever see you the same way? Everything had to be perfect, it just has to.
The street singer recognized your thinking, it felt all too familiar to him. He assured you it’s okay to make mistakes, and not everything has to be perfect. But that’s what he thinks, what about what everyone else thinks? It didn’t take long for you to find that out however.
“Ah, I can’t believe I failed the exam… I didn’t think it’d be that hard!” One of your classmates said.
“Tell me about it, half the questions weren’t even on the study guide we got.” Another classmate replied.
The exam was… hard. But it wasn’t impossible. It felt like it was designed to challenge everyone rather than actually test the students. Even you flunked the test a bit.
“I bet you (Name) over there still managed to get a 100, right (Name)?” One of which called over to you, you didn’t bother to remember who though.
“Actually… I got a lower grade as well. 78 out of a 100. It was pretty difficult this time.” You replied.
You were hoping your words would make the others feel less failure. If you got a low grade- what they considered a perfect classmate and student- then they shouldn’t stress too much over their failures. Right?
You wish you were right.
“Are you kidding me? You get a 100 on like… everything! How did your grade drop that bad?” The girl scowled at you, feeling as if you were mocking her for some reason.
“Well it wasn’t the easiest, and it was designed to challenge us, including me.” You said back. Your two classmates looked at you in disbelief. Were you being serious?
“It’s different coming from you. You place in the top 10 all the time during these tests! Usually your first! You should have been the one who passed.” Ouch.
Those words hit you like a brick. Yeah… they were right, you were supposed to be the saving grace for the class’s average. And you went ahead and flopped just like everyone else? They were right, you had no excuse.
The bell rang and you picked up your bag, hastily walking out of the classroom. You couldn’t be seen like this, everyone’s going to find out…
Navigating the crowded hallways, you search for the school’s exit. The staff will only think you got sick and had to go home, no one would ever think of you as a class cutter. If it’s only one time… they shouldn’t mind.
Right as you were about to push the door open, a hand grabs your shoulder.
“Where do you think your going..?” A familiar voice asked.
You turn around, fearing the worst and expecting to make eye contact with a teacher.
“…without me.” He finished.
“Akito!”
He let go of your shoulder, figuring you got the hint. He chuckled a bit as your face showed relief. ‘They must have been really worried about getting caught.’ He thinks.
“Great to see you too. Now, would you answer the question?” His voice sounded stern, yet playful.
“It was just… a bad time today. In class I mean. Um, I don’t think I feel comfortable talking about it here though.” You said. The last thing you needed was for anyone to hear how badly you thought you screwed up.
“Alright then, lead the way.”
You looked both ways, making sure there were no witnesses nearby before pushing the door open and making a run for it, your boyfriend not far behind. You two ran for a few minutes until it was ensured no one was after you.
But neither of you quit moving. Akito wouldn’t say it himself, but he was also itching to get out of there, and was kinda grateful you were as well. Otherwise, he’d probably be suffering alone in school right now. You both were itching to get home- either of your homes.
Opening your front door- much calmer than the last door you opened, you didn’t waste a second to walk through. Kicking off your shoes and hanging your bag up, the ginger behind you following suit, you were finally home.
“So, what happened earlier?” He asked, throwing himself on your bed. He’s been wondering ever since he caught you at the school door, it was very out of character for you to.. rebel… like that.
“Right.. I had a little slip up in class. They were talking about tests grades- the most recent one they got. Everyone either failed or got below an 80, including me. I thought… I thought telling them I had a low grade as well would make them feel a bit better. But they got frustrated- saying something about how I can’t possibly fail a test.” You sighed, it was still fresh in your mind. Even as you crawled into your bed where you’re supposed to be calm.
Akito stayed silent for a moment, gathering his thoughts and thinking of the right words to use. Even if you didn’t say it flat out, he knew you were troubled at the thought of people thinking differently of you. You felt this strange ‘responsibility’ of maintaining this perfectionist reputation. He was never sure how to feel about that. Should he have reassured you more? Been more worried? He couldn’t help but feel guilty.
“You shouldn’t worry about what those bitches think. They clearly didn’t understand that test wasn’t meant to be passed with a perfect score, huh? You did though, and you still passed right? Even if you failed, that’s okay. At the end of the day… isn’t it just a number?”
You took a moment to process his words. He was right, you did still pass. Even if it wasn’t a perfect score… a passing grade is enough, right?
“You don’t like the way you are, don’t you?” He continued, this time getting past your imaginary mask.
You shook your head silently. Of course you didn’t. Everyone expects so much from you all the time, it’s so… stressful. You despised it, you’d do anything to be an average person.
He didn’t need you to say anything, your reaction was enough. He shifted closer to you so his presence felt less vague, it comforted you.
“I hope you realize you don’t have to do everything right, and I never want you to feel as if you have to keep that up around me.” Your heart warmed, of course he’d say that.
Even if everyone else wanted the most from you, Akito only wanted whatever you had to give. If it was nothing, that’s fine. You alone is enough for him.

It was hard for anyone to imagine Toya with a partner who’s so… outgoing. Even if it wasn’t intentional, you seemed to know anyone and everyone in the district. But as they say, opposites attract.
He never minded how well known you were. At times he may feel just a tad jealous when someone holds you up for too long, but besides that, it was never too much of a bother. He may not know what it’s like to be in your shoes, but he thought he had a good idea of what it was like.
Everyone knew you, almost all of them taking a liking to you. It was rare to hear of someone who disliked you for reasons other than jealousy. You must always have options when it comes to going out, and you’re probably entertained at functions like that often.
At least, that’s what Toya believed at first.
Slowly over time, he began to pick up on your sudden shifts in facial expressions. You were all smiles when an acquaintance came up to talk to you. But the moment they walked away, your face instantly dropped into what looked like annoyance.
You’d giggle with someone, but once they left you scoffed. You’d gossip with someone else, and once they left you’d roll your eyes. But not once did you verbally express complaint.
Toya was no idiot, he realized your stance on your popularity. You weren’t happy about it, at all. He intended in speaking to you about it eventually, but it came sooner than planned unexpectedly…
You were walking down the streets with Toya, on your way to meet up with his group at one of their favorite locations. There were more people walking than usual today, but you didn’t pay any mind to it, considering it irrelevant. But little did you know…
“Oh look, it’s (Name) and their boyfriend! How are you two?” A chipper girl said. She had an… odd… look in her eyes.
“We’re doing pretty good! We were just on our way to meet up with friends actually!” You smiled sweetly, but you felt sick to your stomach knowing who this girl was.
“That’s so cute! If you don’t mind, can me and my friends over there tag along? We won’t be a bother, I swear!” She practically squealed that first part, leaving your ears ringing.
Toya looked between you, the girl, and her friends a few feet away. He caught on to what you were thinking, thankfully.
“Apologies, but the meeting is exclusively for close friends. And we’re in a hurry, so if you’ll excuse us…”
‘He’s my saving grace’ You thought. Although, you thought just a little too soon.
“Wow (Name), you never said anything about your boyfriend being such a douche. You seriously gonna let him make these decisions for you?” You internally screamed at her, calling her all sorts of names. Of course, you refrained from this on the outside.
“He’s not making decisions for me, we are actually in a hurry and this meeting is exclusively for close friends. We need to get going now…” You took off, grabbing Toya’s hand in the process before she could say anything else.
You sighed, of course you had to have a run in like that on what was supposed to be a good day. Who knows what you’ll come home to hear this time. What’s it going to be now? You were a bitch to someone you barley knew simply because you didn’t want to be late? That is something they’d say to bring you down.
The hangout went smooth, no more random encounters with randoms. But the scene from earlier related over and over in your mind.
“(Name), are you alright?” Toya asked. He asked quietly in order to avoid attracting the attention of others, you found it considerate.
“I’m alright, just thinking. That’s all.” Liar.
Toya nodded, averting his attention back to the recording An and Akito were making him listen to. Apparently they were coming up with a new song for their next event, and wanted his input on it.
You found yourself dissociating from the group. It’s been hours, and you just wanted to get home to find out if anything new was spread about you.
“It’s getting late, I think me and (Name) are gonna head home now. Is that good, (Name)?” You practically jumped out of your seat when you heard “head home.”
“Yeah, I’m ready. I’m exhausted and need to go to sleep… I’ll see you all later!” You waved goodbye to everyone alongside Toya. Exiting Weekend Garage, making your way to Toya’s place.
The walk was silent, but a comfortable silent. Neither of you said a word the whole way to his place, but you still knew what the other was thinking.
Opening the door, he stepped aside to let you in first.
“We need to talk about something.” He said.
‘There it is…’ you thought. It was only a matter of time. He lead you upstairs to his room, hoping you’d be more comfortable talking in his own space. You took your spot on his bed, waiting for his next words.
“You’ve been acting strange, or I’ve noticed how strange you act. Specifically when your around people who seem to know you. Does that… make you uncomfortable?” Maybe it wasn’t the time to think of it, but you were relieved this wasn’t a breakup talk.
“It’s… complicated.”
“I’ll listen to any complications you have.”
Taking a deep breath, you let everything out. All the pent up frustration you’ve kept in for so long.
“I’m just so… annoyed. Annoyed with everyone. Not you of course, but all these other people. Everyone thinks I’m happy to hear their gossip about others, but it just makes me view everyone involved differently. Like that girl we saw today, she’s a cheating bitch who cheated on all her exes for some random guy she meets. And then if I tell anyone what I think of someone else, I’m the two-faced one.” You took another breath, you needed it after all that talking.
You threw your head back to the wall, sighing again. You weren’t even sure how it got like this, when all these people saw you as a comfort person. It was starting to stress you out.
Thankfully, Toya caught on. He took your hand in his and started rubbing circles on the back of your hand with his thumb. It’s the little actions that always mean the most.
“I couldn’t possibly know how you feel. But what I can tell you is that none of those people deserve you. If all they do is bad mouth others to you, messing with your head, then they could do the same thing back to you. You deserve the best possible friends out there, not people who think they know you.”
“You say I deserve the best friends, but I already have the best boyfriend, don’t I?” You pointed out. His cheeks flushed a bit, but only briefly.
You chuckled at his reaction, pulling him into a hug.
“Thank you, Toya. You’re the only person I ever want to know. Well, our other friends as well. But especially you.”
He smiled into your hair. Both of you were really lucky, huh?

You were always quite talented at the arts. Whether it be musical arts, visual arts, or any other type of art, it was guaranteed you would excel. This was what inevitably drew Tsukasa towards you. He found your talent admirable, and aspired to reach your level of skill one day.
Whenever you drew around him, he watched intently, starry eyes following every pencil stroke you made. Whenever you played an instrument near him, he’d drop whatever he was going to listen. It was almost spell-bounding to him.
You of course, appreciated his enthusiasm. But sometimes you wished he’d focus a little less on whatever your doing and focus more on you. You implied this discreetly once in a conversation, and he didn’t realize till later. Once he realized though, he thought it was better to focus on you more anyways.
If Tsukasa is able to pick up on that, shouldn’t anyone else be able to? You wished that was the case
You groaned out in frustration as yet another peer handed you their art assignment to “help” with. They disguised it as help, but in reality they only wanted you to finish it for them, that way they get a better grade. It was… annoying to say the least.
Examining what was left, it seemed possible to get it done before the class ends. You got to work immediately in order to avoid any more pestering later.
As usual, other students gathered over your shoulder. Some were a little too close for comfort, and it was starting to distract you. A lot.
“I’m sorry, but could you please back up a bit? You’re in my personal space and it’s pretty distracting.” You asked as politely as possible.
The male rolled his eyes a bit before backing up. You thought that would be the end of it- you wished that was the end of it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
“What do they mean they’re ‘distracted’? They were doing just fine when I was standing that close. Making a big deal out of nothing… geez.” He spoke up, a little too late after he moved away.
Your wrist stopped, dropping the pencil. ‘What’s his problem?’
“Excuse me?”
Anyone who wasn’t looking before was definitely looking now. The room went dead quiet after hearing the malice in your voice. Others near you backed away, while some got a bit closer to hear better.
“You didn’t hear me the first time? I said you’re making a big deal out of nothing. You were doing just fine. Was all that attention not enough for you? You wanted more? Well you definitely got it now.” He laughed at bit after that last remark, pissing you off even more.
“I heard you loud and clear the first time. Just wanted to see if you had the guts to repeat it is all.”
“Oh yeah? And what were you going to do if I didn’t?”
You abruptly stood up, getting more and more irritated with every second that passed. The look on this guy’s face was enough to frustrate you alone, his words were just additions to that.
You were toe to toe with him now. Your other classmates were finally backing away now, but the only one who didn’t stayed toe to toe with you.
“Cute, you’re just gonna stand there?” He mocked.
Clenching your fist as tight as ever, you raised it. The punch was swift, but it felt like a stab in the stomach to him.
“(Full Name). Office, now.” Apparently in the midst of everything, someone went off to get a teacher before it could escalate to… that. While they were a little late, it definitely prevented it from escalating further.
You walked to the office with the teacher, holding your head down in shame. It felt like all eyes were on you, and everything sounded so quiet. The only good thing to come out of this was getting sent home early.
You got let off with a 2 day suspension, while the one who provoked you only got a detention. It pissed you off reasonably, but there wasn’t anything you could do about it. Because he didn’t attack first or even attack at all, you were seen as the problem.
“…and that’s how my day went. Sorry Tsukasa, I won’t see you around school for a few days.” You finished telling your boyfriend all the events that occurred today, and why someone told him to ‘get his partner in check.’
He sat in front of you dumbfounded. For a moment, he felt all the rage you felt when everything was happening. He was almost as pissed off as you were at the detention punishment as well.
“But you were being harassed! It wasn’t physical, but who knew if that guy was going to throw a punch first. You were only sticking up for yourself!” He exclaimed. You sighed, muttering an “I know” under your breath.
He huffed, crossing his arms to express his seriousness right now.
“Well… I don’t think you did anything wrong. Shouldn’t the girl who made you finish her art project be blamed for all this? If she never gave it to you then this all could have been avoided!”
“I thought about that, but she wasn’t even in the room when all this happened. And it still comes back to me for doing her project anyways.”
Tsukasa sensed your frustration. He tried to calm himself down to avoid adding onto it, but it was still in the back of his mind.
“The only way any of this could have been avoided is if I sucked at art.” You bluntly said. Tsukasa turned his head, looking at you with wide eyes.
“Why would you want to suck at art though?” He asked.
“It’d keep people away from me, make them stop seeing me as a homework machine or something. I don’t like the kind of attention it gives me.”
He tried to understand where you were coming from, but it was difficult. He loves the attention being a self proclaimed star gets him, and would never want to give his title up. But you were the complete opposite.
Still, even if he didn’t understand, he’d try his best.
“I think… I think what you do is amazing (Name). But I don’t think it’s amazing that people use you for your talent, and I find it even less amazing how it deteriorates your self esteem.” He tried to keep his voice as soft as possible.
“Thank you, Tsukasa. I just… I just wish things went a little differently for me, that’s all.”
He could understand that this time. Sometimes he wished things went differently for him as well, but that thought was buried in the back of his mind with all the others.
He took your hand in his, reassuring you he wasn’t going anywhere. He swore he’d always see you as who you were as a person before your talents.
And it worked. The built up anger finally dying down.

Your scientific mind never went unnoticed by Rui. How could it be? Not only was it a trait he found quite attractive, but it was also what lead to your relationship with each other.
Not a day went by where he didn’t appreciate your love for all things science related. You’d frequently ask him questions about his own inventions, even offering help with a handful of them. The ones you assisted him with felt more important than any other inventions he had.
You were placed in the highest science courses available. Chemistry, physics, biology, you were somehow taking all of them at once. The school saw you as some sort of “prodigy” and wanted to push you as best as they possibly could. Which certainly worked! But…
Some students weren’t as welcoming as others. Not everyone thought your vast knowledge in science was normal, some even considered it ‘unhealthy.’ You tried your best to ignore them, but it’s hard to ignore something that’s right in front of you.
With chemistry involving, well, chemicals, your class was often in a lab room during the period. The professor enjoyed being unpredictable, so you never knew what to expect walking into the room. But you wouldn’t have thought he’d try something so… inconsiderate.
The first thing you noticed was a chart projected on the board, the second thing you notice is that it’s a seating chart. Any groups from earlier in the year were changed into random clusters. Some were excited for this change, while others, including yourself, groaned out in frustration.
Because of course, you just had to have the worst group.
Two members of the table seemed to be familiar with each other already, giggling amongst themselves. The third person looked completely out of it, not appearing to be paying attention to anything going on around him. You were already feeling like the odd one out here.
“Oh look, we have (Name) in our group! This class should be much easier now.” One of the girls said.
You looked at her for a moment, averting your guys to other next to her. She seemed to find what her friend said amusing, you could tell what was going on already.
“(Name) did I ever tell you how gorgeous your eyes are? Does wearing those… science goggles make your eyes look prettier?” Her smile seemed as fake as her lashes, but for now you just had to stay civil…
You tune the rest of the room out to focus on the assignment handed to you. All you had to do was write a few equations and answer some questions… nothing too bad. If you finish early, you can probably get out of this class sooner.
Your focus was disrupted by obnoxious tapping on the table.
“Can you give me the answers when you’re done?” Your group-mate asked. It took every ounce of self control to avoid rolling your eyes and turning away, instead you pretended you never heard her.
“Hello? Anyone there? Earth to (Name)~!” She said in a sing song voice. Still, as long as you pretend you never heard it…
“God, can they be anymore rude? They think they’re the shit just cause they’re in all these science courses. Just grow up already!” At that point she knew you were listening, and was resorting to shit talk to get your attention.
Unfortunately that was what grabbed your attention. Peering up at the girl with a look of annoyance, she giggled again.
“Looks like someone can hear after all!”
“Fuck off.” You replied. Stuffing your paper into your bag, you asked the teacher if you could see the nurse, to which he agreed. You couldn’t stand that table already, and you have to do that for a whole semester? Hell no.
Some students were already on their free period or lunch, so the hallways were a bit crowded, but not terribly. Thankfully it made it much easier to spot a tall purple haired male nearby.
“Rui, there you are.” You said while practically running up to him.
“Well, if it isn’t dear (Name), shouldn’t you be in..” You cut him off.
“Chemistry? Yeah. I got out to ‘go to the nurse’ but I really just wanted to cut the rest of the class. We got new groups today- mine is the worst.”
“I see…” he replied.
It was clear you were unhappy with these new seats, but there wasn’t much you could do about them. Rui acknowledged this, and tried to come up with quick solutions on the spot. Though he could tell you about them later. Right now, you just need a shoulder to lean on it seems. Literally and figuratively.
You sighed into his shoulder as he played with you hair. It felt more private in this part of the school, so there was less shame in the PDA. Besides, it at least looked normal compared to other couples.
“I hate science.” You said.
“Excuse me?”
Maybe you could have phrased that better… but part of you meant that as well.
“I just hate how everyone treats me because of science, it’s not fair. I’m just ahead of everyone else and have a passion, why is that such a problem?” You continued.
Rui knew exactly what you meant. He spent years being outcasted for being a weirdo, primarily about science. It was easy to sympathize with you.
“I know what you mean… but at the end of the day, who’ll be the one wearing a cool looking lab coat ten years from now? Definitely not them.” He joked, trying to lighten your mood a bit before class starts again. If anyone else had said that you’d have just rolled your eyes. But because it was Rui, you couldn’t help but chuckle.
You punched his shoulder lightly, making him chuckle. ‘Your spirits have been lifted up’ he thought.
“Just what would I do without you Rui…”
“Not thinking of yourself in a lab coat standing over everyone else, that’s for sure.” He replied.
Feeling better, you leaped up and stretched your arms out. Rui following suit, just a bit lazier. He handed you your bag and you thanked him.
“Mind walking me to my next class?” You asked.
“I’ll never mind doing anything for you. And… that’s our class, I’m in it as well.” He remarked teasingly. He sits right in front of you in that class, but you just wanted to see what he’d say.
“Right right, now let’s go before I accidentally drop a fire cracker here…”
You two were really made for each other, huh?
