my impressions of the mighty nein as a critter who hasn’t watched campaign 2
fjord: hot cowboy orc man who’s british sometimes??? also he is haunted by some eye bitch under the water
molly: hot. everyone thinks he’s hot. bisexual, and doesn’t know what a gender is. really sweet but hides it by being horny on main. also dead
caleb: arson trauma man who really likes cats and is secretly hot under 4 months of dirt
jester: chaos incarnate. draws dicks on everything. loves her mom very much. has the power to start a cult and is very aware of it
yasha: tall. buff but also soft. no social skills, really likes flowers for what’s probably a heartbreaking reason. she misses her wife, tails
beau: daddy issues lesbian who likes to punch her problems instead of confronting them. a monk, pop pop bitch
caduceus: graveyard man, makes dead people tea. gets trapped?? places??? he is stupid. i love him. he is my favorite
nott: a goblin girl who is the equivalent of a mom trying to be hip and cool with her kid’s friends. also a klepto. also sometimes british????
veth: nott but she’s embracing her uncool mom side now. has so many buttons
BONUS
essek: he’s a floating war criminal apparently???? also hot boi?????? who is this lost grad student
lucien: mollymauk?? but again???? but more eldritch this time
kiri: the best creature to ever exist but who let the m9 raise a (bird) child

Karina continues to "like" Sam's IG posts, even on the Sassenach Spirits account !
As I had surmised, Karina didn't return to the UK to go to the Baftas with Sam. And will most likely spend Thanksgiving this Thursday with her family since it's also her sister's birthday.
In the past, when Sam was dating someone, they would each spend Christmas with their respective families, and then go somewhere to celebrate New Year's together. Wonder if #samrina will ring in the New Year together? And also if Sam will be Karina's plus one to her sister's wedding on January 7 in Florida? We shall see...😊
PS. If #samrina isn't your cup of tea and or you want to be negative, there are sadly, PLENTY of "bitch and complain" blogs, kindly see your way there. I woke up with a backache, and I'm in NO mood for anyone's bullshit today. Love and light, people, love and light goddamnit! ❤️ 🤗

The Week Ahead: December 26, 2022 - January 1, 2023
Lunar Phases
Monday, December 26, 2022, 14:54 UT - Crescent Moon, 19°48’ Aquarius
The key phrase for the Crescent lunar phase is to “gather and mobilize resources.” Aquarius-type resources to be specific. Ordinarily I would recommend technology, but with Mercury about to station retrograde that’s probably not a good plan! Instead, let’s look for allies - those who share our goals.
Friday, December 30, 2022, 01:21 UT - First Quarter Moon, 8°18’ Aries
The key phrases for the First Quarter Moon are to “take action” and to “build new structures” to support our New Moon intention. Aries is done with planning - it wants to act, to blast full speed ahead. There’s a lot of energy, along with some danger of imprudence, impatience, and/or using more force than we really have to.
Void of Course Moon
Monday, December 26, 2022, 18:19 UT (Aquarius) - Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 07:34 UT (Pisces)
Thursday, December 29, 2022, 06:21 UT (Pisces) - 10:36 UT (Aries)
Saturday, December 31, 2022, 12:44 UT (Aries) - 17:08 UT (Taurus)
Retrograde/Direct/Etc.
Pre-retrograde shadow: Mercury/Capricorn (until Thursday the 29th), Ceres/Libra
Retrograde: Mercury/Capricorn (beginning Thursday the 29th), Mars/Gemini, Pallas Athene/Cancer, Uranus/Taurus, Eris/Aries
Post-retrograde shadow: Jupiter/Aries, Saturn/Aquarius
Transiting Mercury stations retrograde on Thursday the 29th, 09:32 UT, at 24°21’ Capricorn. If you have to exchange a present, get it done before then!
Et Cetera
There is one Opportunity Period this week, from Wednesday, December 28, 22:05 UT - Thursday, December 29, 10:36 UT. “Mercury is moving slowly, but you can use this excellent time for creative ideas, fun, social activities, and mind expansion.”
The week begins in a mellow mood (I think those of us in the US will be trying to thaw out), but when the Moon enters Aries we’re suddenly champing at the bit to go do things. Unfortunately, Mercury stations retrograde only one hour before the Moon goes into Aries - and of course Mars, Aries’ ruler, is also retrograde.
What a weird way to start 2023, with both Mercury and Mars retrograde. Yikes.
That said, it is also kind of nice to start a calendar year under a First Quarter lunar phase. The combination of “take action,” and January 1, is a very productive prospect. Evem better is that on New Year’s Day, that First Quarter Taurus Moon will be trine the Sun in Capricorn. Quite auspicious.
