Audrey Hall in every episode 2/35 "Another Farnon"

This episode is something else, again! You immediately know that Audrey is a mother figure for Tristan. She calls him "my boy" a few times, he listens to her while he seems to completely ignore what Siegfried tells him. It is also interesting to see how much of a fifth wheel James is in this episode. He is often seen observing the close bond and inside jokes and mannerisms between Siegfried, Audrey and Tristan. Wondering how on earth he is going to fit in now. Then there is of course the insane amount of banter between Audrey and Siegfried. Her sarky remarks are accepted almost throughout the episode with one or two exceptions "Sarcasm doesn't suit a woman of your religiosity." But that does not stop her. Nor does it really bother Siegfried.

With much respect to Tom Cruise and McQ, my Ethan Hunt is that dumb farm boy who joined the IMF because he thought it would be fun to be a spy, and then when his team was murdered and shit got real, he realised he was trapped.

It wasn't an ultimatum of either the IMF or prison, but an open and free choice that he could never escape from, and the past 30 years have been about Ethan coming to terms with that and finding freedom, in his own actions, on how to live in that cage.

I was so excited for the return of RTD but it's as if he's forgotten how to write compelling characters with full lives and everything is just CGI overkill. I also wish the show would stop looking back to classic who to bring back characters that seemingly get defeated so easily.

It's sad but watching tonight's episode didn't make me miss watching the show and I absolutely adored Ncutti when he first appeared. I was so excited for the 15th Doctor and the bi-regeneration to bring in a new outlook, to take the show forward and leave some of the past behind, but all RTD has done is rehash his first era.

The show is drowning in its own lore.
