Something new, written by someone YOUNG.

( 13 shows seemed like a better number to stop suggestions at.)

🌗 < 🦺When I was a FA for Horizon, I used to stay at the Hilton in San Jose. It was great. We had a 24 hr layover so I could visit the Winchester mansion. That betch was OCD. 13 was a number of protection for widow Winchester. She was afraid the spirits of ALL the natives that died from a Winchester rifle would come back to haunt her. She handsomely paid locals, to continually build on to her home in order to keep ghosts from attacking her.

I love the setting of the elevator as one "box"/four walls within this plays out. And it plays out so well! All that is needed is Myka, Helena and a tiny space that they can meet in, and it's amazing!

Friday the Thirteenth

Daily Blogs 313 - Sep 13th, 12.024

Day 313 of daily blogs, on a Friday the thirteenth, today is probably my luckiest day. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make something special for today, to be honest this date flew by head, and I never actually planned for day 313 to be in a Friday the thirteenth.

I never really planned to use 13, or more specifically 013, to be "my number". Like any other teenager, I wanted to be different, so why use the unlucky number as my lucky one? How original! And it stuck during my life until nowadays.

To be honest? I like it. Today, this number has a new meaning for me: imperfection. 13 is somewhat of an imperfect number, uneven, not used anywhere really, in contrast to its predecessor 12, used in hours, number of months, even, multiples of 6 are also used everywhere. It is not a deep meaning, but it is a new one for my current self, and why I still use it, since, like it, I'm imperfect.

And like the number, I don't really had so much control on how I ended up here. But now I have more control, and now I can have a new meaning.
