Specific doctor comes to town only on certain days, otherwise it would be a 6 hour trip for a 5 minute appointment. Can’t take off work, so I leave and come back. Today??? It’s suddenly a problem. Why can’t I have it on my day off? BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY BUSY AND ONLY IN TOWN ON SUCH AND SUCH DATES. ANd yet because of poor staffing and poor management, I can’t switch my days off OR just fuck off for half a day like MANY people get to do. And that is the only solution the boss has for me is to schedule the day on my day off? Like it’s a brand new concept? Like I haven’t been taking these appointments several times? Like I didn’t EXPLAIN before? I was BEGGED to come back the first time when I had already gotten the latter half off. Man alive I wish I worked in a box factory. It literally doesn’t even IMPACT the boss’s day either, they just ran into some HASSLE about it. Man alive. then later some annoying call to VERIFY that I’m coming back. i should drive off. Live in a barn full of eggs.

EDIT: found out the REASON is that poor management led to someone else getting ‘a vacation day’ today, boss didn’t PLAN FOR SHIT, they have to take up the reins and are PISSY.
