TW: suicidal thoughts

Nearly a month later . . . oops. Been wrapped up in school and depression. I'm on the thrive retreat, second day. I just went to confession for the first time in 2 yrs? I've felt so blocked off from God recently. I was actually beginning to worry and doubt God even more. But when I was walking back and I felt like the ugly roots were ripped away from the heart (nearly talking away the skin almost). Then I felt a warmth in my should and a voice that seemed to say "welcome back". I felt like the metaphorical trapdoor opened, now god's purple light is shining down.

Later

I'm sitting in adoration wonder why I even deserve to be alive. I keep thinking about what Dad says to me "You made everyone around you suffer." I think about the pressure Dad puts on me to get good grades. I don't want to go back, I just want to stay in this secluded bliss for as long as I can.
