[SENSORY VISUALIZATION] THE SMELL OF GLASGOW

The author collects garbage residues, fallen leaves, building walls, and moss between street bricks in the city and turns these smells into smell maps. He abstracts smells into color pictures to form a city's smell memory space.

his name is Dr. Mono ! He gave himself the name (for fun) because in one of his experiments, he turned his skin into white and black splotches ! (he originally had vitiligo) anyways LORE DROP ABOUT STUFF UHHH BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IT (long text💔):

Experiment #0129 (Chaos) was originally a corpse of an 8 year old boy who died ## years ago, who was also Mono's son which he adopted. Mono did not want to let go from {}{}{}{} being the insane man that he is because it was his only child at the time, so he bought it to the lab and decided to bring it back to life.

Test after Test , Axosun and Dr. RETRO helped him sometimes but he kept on going. Changing some parts and organs every once in a while during the experiment, going for days without sleep. AT ALL., and even getting parts from other bodies he found.

Eventually , #0129 came to LIFE once again ! Mono was excited and happy but then found out that he had no memory at all (well except for basics like speaking and writing and stuff yeaahh YKWIM). Mono was a bit upset , but that determined him to reteach #0129 everything. Mono introduced Finn to Axosun and Dr. Retro and showed him around the lab. Even though Finn was nervous , he quickly got a bit more comfortable around the lab and the others. When Mono took him home to meet his older sister , Vivian, (18 y/o at the time) he was a bit scared of her from her serious looking figure but she was happy to meet him and showed him around the places she new. this made him happier to be around her.

the only thing Finn would be told alot is not to go to the REGRETEVATOR. no matter how interesting he saw it as , Mono didnt let him. Mono often worried about Finn dying again. Even though Finn tried to sneak into the REGRETEVATOR when he was 13, Mono managed to stop him.

When Finn CHAOS came out as trans to Mono (and Axosun and retro i gues.......) , Mono was very happy for himher and made sure she was comfortable as she is, with Vivian and Retro helping her at times with stuff.

When the lab fell apart , Mono was more worried about his daughters and everything in general. He made sure that they were okay and everything he owned back in the lab would be retrieved and kept hidden away. One night, Chaos and Mono were walking down an alleyway to go to a market to get groceries , with Mono feeling better. But then Mono got shot in the head by some unknown murderer , with Chaos witnessing it all. Chaos panicked and didnt know where to go , but she noticed the REGRETEVATOR and went for it.....

Q: Shu, how would you like us to treat the DMBJ dramas and the novels? Are they parallel universes? For example, the Sha Hai drama had an ending while the novel didn't. Also a lot of novels have characters that haven't appeared in the novels. 

A: Usually, I view the novels as the real world and the dramas as a version that the characters in the stories tell others. There's two good things about this. 1. It can explain all sorts of differences between the novel and the drama. 2. It allows the dramas to present extra emotion that the characters have when retelling the story. By looking at how a person retells their own story, you can see how they see themselves and this story.

Q: Sanshu, will you do a drama adaptation of Sea of Lights? That one is really scary. But I’ll say this first, if you are going to make an adaptation, you must finish writing it first, okay?

A: Do you like scary scenes? I thought everyone wouldn’t be scared anymore.

A: The entire process from Naive Wu Xie to ZHH Wu Xie to Sha Hai Wu Xie is too difficult. Wu Xie’s luck ended when ZHH Wu Xie ended.
