Do you listen to more oldies or more current stuff? A mix of both but leaning more to oldies, the majority of my favourite songs and artists are either from the 60s & 70s era, or the 90s & 00s era <3 

Would you wear a t-shirt of a band you're not into? Probably not, even if the design is cool i only wear band tshirts if i care abt the band. But if someone gave me an artist tshirt as a gift, i’d wear it AND listen to the artist it depicts 👍

Do you listen to music when it's raining or do you stop to hear the sound of the rain? Im answerin this question cos i like it. If its raining really hard i take out my headphones and turn my music up so i can hear it out loud blended with the sound of the rain <3

Do you prefer live recordings or studio recordings? LIVE RECORDINGS ARE MY BEST FRIENDS. I dont know if i prefer them but theres something so comcorting and beautiful of hearing live stuff so yeah <3

Last song listened to: Michael Torke's Psalms and Canticles. i think there are a lot of bangers in it even if it doesn't quite stick the ending, and i think there is some fantasy alternate universe me that winds up performing this someday

Currently reading: to kill time at work, The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie. outside of working hours, the Opies' Language and Lore of Schoolchildren, altho there "skimming" is perhaps more accurate since i'm not like, that invested in reading every local variation in a schoolyard rhyme from 1956. still some interesting stuff in there, and also interesting to see rhymes that i remember from my 90s Childhood™ being cited as already generations old 70+ years ago. children's lore is wild!

Currently watching: with my husband: Los Espookys when HBO cooperates and Brooklyn 99 when it doesn't. when he's not around, random YouTube videos, some Breaking Bad, and also the BBC Poirot show from the 80s/90s/00s (it had a long run)

Currently obsessed with: finishing the formatting on this siddur so i can finally release it and be free sorry this is a boring answer it is just eating my brain alive

The song features the doubling of regular bass with Danelectro or "dano" bass; the dano bass' distinctive twang gave Nesmith's 1966 tracks a country flavor. The doubling of bass proved difficult to master as some 35 takes were needed before the backing track was completed.

The song was featured on three first-season episodes of The Monkees: "The Chaperone," "One Man Shy," and "Monkees a La Mode."

One of my favorites.  There’s a version where Mike starts the track by saying something like “This is thirty, do you believe that?”  I can’t seem to find that one, now, but I know it’s out there somewhere.  The session one backing track shows the trouble they had trying to get the two basses to mingle properly.

Hibrit motorlu yeni Suzuki Across, RAV4'ün ikizi olmaya geldi

Suzuki, yakında Avrupa pazarında satışa sunacağı yeni şarj edilebilir hibrit (PHEV) SUV modelini tanıttı. Yukarıda da belirttiğimiz gibi iki üretici arasındaki anlaşma kapsamında RAV4 PHEV’i temel alan Suzuki Across, ön bölümündeki kozmetik dokunuşlar sayesinde kendini belli ediyor. Bu alanda ince LED farlar, büyük bir altıgen ızgara ve sis farlarını ��evreleyen, ızgarayla aynı detaylara sahip sahte hava girişleri dikkat çekiyor. Yine Suzuki Across’u ikizinden ayırt etmemizi sağlayan alaşım jantların çapı da 19 inç. İç mekanda ise direksiyondaki Suzuki logosu ve dijital gösterge paneli dışında neredeyse her şey aynı. Konu sadece logo ve ufak bir tasarım değişikliği olunca haliyle kaputun altındaki motor seçeneği de aynı oluyor. Bu kapsamda Suzuki Across’ta da 173 beygirlik 2.5 litre dört silindirli benzinli ünite, iki elektik motoru ve 18.1 kWh’lık batarya kombinasyonundan oluşan bir sistem bulunuyor. Öndeki elektrik motoru 180 beygir, arkadaki ise 54 beygir güç üretiyor. Suzuki aracın toplam gücünü açıklamadı fakat biz bu kombinasyonun 302 beygir güç ürettiğini RAV4’ten biliyoruz. Karşınızda dünyanın ilk elektrikli tırı: Tesla Semi [Video]

Tesla’nın üzerinde yoğun mesai harcadığı ve taşımacılık sektörüne yepyeni bir soluk kazandıracak elektrikli tırı resmen tanıtıldı. Dünyada bir ilk olan aracın teknik özellikleri ve tasarımı görenleri adeta kendine hayran bırakıyor.

Türkiye saatiyle bu sabah 07:00′da, Los Angeles’taki bir havalimanı hangarında gerçekleştirilen lansmanda dünyanın ilk elektrikli tırı "Tesla Semi" görücüye çıktı. Bizzat Elon Musk tarafından lanse edilen araç oldukça hoş bir tasarım çizgisine sahip. Fosil yakıt kullanımını azaltma hedefiyle yola çıktıklarını söyleyen Musk, tırın 36 tonluk maksimum yükle 800 kilometre mesafe gidebildiğini belirtti.

Bataryalar şasenin iç bölümüne monte edilirken, tırın arka bölümünde yer alan 4 adet teker için birbirinden bağımsız 4 elektrik motoru yer alıyor. Bu sayede 0′dan 100 kilometre hıza sadece 5 saniyede ulaşabilen Tesla Semi, 36 ton yükle aynı hıza 20 saniyede çıkabiliyor. Üstelik iki motor bozulsa dahi yoluna devam edebiliyor. 

Dizel tırlara nazaran çok daha atik bir yapıya sahip olan tır, yüzde 5 eğimli yollarda 100 kilometre hızla gidebiliyor. Normal kamyonlar ise ancak 70 kilometre hıza ulaşıyor. Tesla’nın en önemli yeniliklerinden Megacharger özelliği ile şarj olan tır, 30 dakikada 643 kilometre menzil yapabilecek kapasiteye erişebiliyor. Diğer taraftan dizel tırlar kilometre başında 0.94 dolar olan maliyete sahipken, elektrikli tır sadece 0.78 dolar maliyete sahip.

Çarpma uyarı sistemi, acil fren, şerit koruma gibi yeteneklere sahip otomatik pilot sistemiyle gelen Tesla Semi’nin 1.6 milyon kilometre garantisine ve fren balatalarının -rejeneratif frenleme ile- yarı sonsuz ömre sahip olacağı belirtiliyor. Süspansiyon ve tork iletim sistemi bağımsız çalıştığı için yükün tırdan kopması (Jackknife) gibi bir durum da söz konusu olmuyor.

İç mekanda sade tasarım anlayışı benimseyen Tesla, sürücü koltuğunu tam ortaya konumlandırmış. Oldukça geniş bir görüş açısı sunan kabinde, direksiyonun her iki yanında tır hakkında tüm bilgilere ve ayarlara ulaşmayı sağlayan dokunmatik ekranlar bulunuyor. Elon Musk, ön camda Solar Roof güneş enerjili çatılarda kullanılan kırılmaz camlardan kullanıldığını ve böylelikle sürücülerin kaza anında büyük bir tehlikeden korunduğunu ifade etti.

Deyim yerindeyse taşımacılık sektöründe yepyeni bir dönemin kapılarını aralayan Tesla Semi, çevreci yapısıyla 1.6 milyon kilometrede yaklaşık 200 bin dolar tasarruf sağlıyor. 2019'da seri üretim bandına girecek olan elektrikli tırın 2020 yılında satışa sunulacağı açıklandı. Şimdilik fiyatı bilinmeyen Tesla Semi için rezervasyon yaptırmak isterseniz 5 bin dolar ödemeniz gerekiyor.
