ooc. this is a post containing hcs of what happened to siho majority of july god knows when i’ll be able to sit down and actually write out a drabble about it. important notes:

• after ha juho’s (siho dad yas) death, siho stopped speaking for about a full week.

during the rites and despite her being the chief mourner (could’ve been her brother but to this day idk who to appoint as her brother and my brain can’t handle writing an npc for now) she did not let a single word come out of her mouth, siho’s face was unrecognizable not because of physical alterations but because she had such a still, empty expression people around siho thought she was a living dead.

• siho originally wanted to run away to a completely new region in the world untouched by any of her own/rival’s/ally’s’ organizations but her crazy brain told her to k word her grandfather that was practically 99% the reason why her dad had to die in the first place + even if it meant her dying in the process (or preparation) she didnt gaf cause both her mom and dad are dead there’s quite literally nothing to lose anymore

• the night she thought of what to do though siho’s cat started rubbing on her feet out of nowhere and siho is convinced it’s her cat onigiri telling her to not be stupid and she has to make sure she gets out of whatever she’s planning alive so she can continue feeding him. emotional night really

• siho’s grandfather never liked her for the reason that she was a woman so he too was planning to k word her

• one afternoon when siho picked up some documents as part of an agreement with someone that can help her with her “plan” she passes out in the back of her “cab” and then wakes up in a basement with six men surrounding her all with weapons

• siho grandpa is satan reincarnated so instead of just killing siho he had ordered his men to torture her for a total of 21 days. i dont wanna write what kind of torture just know she ends up being barely alive and revenge being the only thing that’s keeping her

• after the torture situation thing they basically drop her off her apartment covered in wounds bruises broken leg a black eye ACL you name it and its some sort of taunting of how no matter what siho does they will always know where she lives/where they can find her and it just pissed siho off even more

• she’s still planning on killing her grandfather but how exactly… will be revealed one day 🩷 idk yet

my brother was making fun of me and our other brother for having the same haircut, and we were immediately like "what the fuck are you talking about? you had this EXACT SAME haircut like a year ago. this is your haircut too. jackass." so we start arguing back and forth until our mom stops us and says "come here." and she brings out her ID from when she was a teenager and... its the same haircut.

Okay, to make a long story short, this is a screenshot I had saved on the phone I used in 2015. A few years later I took a picture of that phone's screen with a different phone (which is why this picture has a crack in it in the top left corner), and then in 2019 I printed THAT picture out. Like, I paid money to print out this shit so I could stick it on my dorm room wall because I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I hope reading this made your day worse. Shout out to whoever made the original picture. It's really been there for me throughout the years 😢

so I found this really cool website that sells native seeds- and you might be asking me "snekdood, haven't you posted an entire list of websites that sell native wildflower seeds that you're going to add on to soon?" and yes that's true, but that's not the kind of native seed im talking about rn.

see, on my quest to find websites that sell native wildflowers, I came across this dope ass website that sells seeds that have been farmed and harvested by ntv people traditionally, i'll let the website do the talking:

so anyways this is the coolest website ever. you can find the wild relatives of chiles on here called chiltepines, you can find different colors of corn and cool squash's, and every seed from whichever farm has it's own lil origin story written about it. you can also find other veggies here that are already commercially available to help fund and support this organization. as well as there being a cool gift shop with a lot of art made by different native folk from all around as well as cookbooks, jewelry, pottery, weavings, and clearly plenty more:

as well as a pantry?? with premade soup mixes??? and i really want to try them now??????

anyways I think its worth snoopin' around bc I'm almost positive you'll see something you think is cool (oh also if you happen to have some seeds passed down from ur family too and ur also native they seem like they would gladly help produce more)

“you understand that they will find you, right?” the man says out loud, gathering the items siho had instructed him to bring despite his own willingness far from being positive. “i’ve told you many, many times, siho-“ he struggles in between, picking up some of the bullets that have fallen off and into the black leather bag. “-and i dont think you’ve ever understood. when they find you, siho- they’re going to-“ he was quickly cut off with the girl pointing a blank at his lips. “kill me. they’re going to kill me? is that what you wanted to say?” she huffed, taking the bag from his hands and slipping in one more pistol before zipping it closed. “and how many times did i have to explain to you that that’s the plan? it’s either i kill them or they kill me. no point in procrastinating that. seems you don’t know me so well anymore.”

silence. the man looked defeated, running his fingers through his head as he tried to think of a million reasoning to combat siho’s sentiments, but he finally realized, nothing was changing her mind. he fixed his posture and offered her a deep bow.

“you have definitely grown into a respectable woman, siho. please take care. i still wish to watch over you, as your father had wished.”

his words put a short smile to her face, making steps towards him to give his shoulder a single, short tap. “thank you. i hope to see you soon.”

it’s my first ever hardcover bind so i was prepared to make a lot of silly little mistakes and this one definitely does, but i love how it turned out still, i think she’s so cute .. i’m also just happy to finish a personal project that took up so much time to make 🥹
